We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Our apartment had two bedrooms with beautiful view from the private terrace. The hotel has excellent location in the old town and all attractions are within walking distance. Breakfast was great with many options. Our room was kept clean and tidy all the time. Breakfast was great and varied. The hotel was cozily nestled along a side street in the center of many walkable sites. While the humidity seemed to impact the ability to keep the bathroom completely spotless, the cleaning staff were very attentive daily. Most of all, the front desk staff took the time to help identify sites to see, restaurants to eat at, and places to avoid. In addition, they also went above and beyond by making sure we had good travel and stay accommodations after our departure and even put us in touch with local tour guides for our next stop in Agrigento. Recommended for any future travelers who may need English speaking accommodation!

This bed and breakfast is lovely once you walk in the front door. The staff could not have been nicer, the property and room was immaculate and breakfast was wonderful whether you enjoyed it in the dining room or outside on the terrace which was like an oasis. The area immediately outside the property is rundown and a bit dirty but that seems to be the case in alot of areas of Palermo. Once you get out and walk around you realize that the property is very centrally located and close to the heart of this city which has many faces . Overall it was wonderful and i would recommend it highly. Note if you are driving, paid parking is a few blocks away. Do not plan on street parking because of the markets.

A Gem in the heart of Palermo

This hotel is a gem. We rented a 2 bedroom suite. The apartment exceeded our expectations. The breakfast in the morning was fantastic. If you are looking for an authentic Palermo experience this hotel will not disappoint. There is also a mini mart across the street open until midnight.

Property has its strengths and weaknesses. The location is fantastic, but the rooms are quite simple and lack some amenties like rugs, slippers, and mirrors in the lower chambers. AC doesn't work properly, making ut hard to cool down. The stairs feel a but rickety and aren't entirely safe when wanting to go to the bathroom if you sleep in lower chambers. The supplies in bathroom can be upgraded as you are paying a good amount for first class service. The pillows were soft and hard to sleep in but the bed was firm and perfect for a good nights sleep. On plus side the staff particularly Andreas, were really helpful and calm, even when dealing with issues like the room not matching what we booked. The coffee lady is also super kind and does a great job . Ultimelty, its up to you to decide if price is worth what you're getting.
I prefer everything posh when paying $300 euros per night.

The BnB is situated in a great part of the city. There is a lovely restaurant 2 minutes walk and a great supermarket within 5 minutes, too.
The apartment is large. It has a large living area with a dining area, a functional kitchen, very big main bedroom and a further additional sleeping area, also it has two bathrooms. The best area is the terrace which has a great view, great to watch the sun rise, however the broken parasol is a shame as there is no shade from the hot sun, and the patio, and furniture, needs a good clean.
The apartment was meant to be serviced daily but on day 3 no one turned up and also we had no water delivered during our stay. Overall the inside is tired and needs a good clean, especially the heavily stained sofa.
Its a great location but needs some attention.

Andrea was the most amazing host and hotelier we could have ever imagined. His communication style was kind, genuine, and calm from before we even met him. He took the time to let us know everything about the hotel and went above and beyond to give us special knowledge of the city and how to navigate its richness. Please get locks fixed to front main door!

This review otherwise would have been a 4 or 5 star rating for me. The accommodations were nice, friendly staff especially the lovely kitchen staff. Breakfast spread was fantastic and good caffe.
Franny and Lugi were helpful.

As a solo female traveler safety is very important to me. The whole lock situation of working the key at the main entrance door was very difficult and stressful at the end of each amazing day I had in Palermo.

Staff literally leaves properly before 9pm sometimes 8:30pm so if you can’t get in w the jacked key you are given you are out of luck.

I even tried to get back in time before dark & staff left but no one was available at property or answered my WhatsApp messages (chat I had already been communicating w Franny on upon arrival) as I was outside unable to get in.

Franny never acknowledged or apologized for not responding next day. Just ignored my messages of being locked out. After several attempts I eventually got the key to work but very difficult.

I am a young person and thought at breakfast looking around at the other older guests… there is no way my grandparents would get this lock. I barely did. Unnecessary stress of my otherwise relaxing, amazing trip.

I stayed three nights, next time Palermo will be a day trip for me. Stay in Cefalu and do day trips from there for exploring Northern Sicily.

With locks fixed… I would recommend for a night or two stay minimum.

Palermo is rather noisy city but lots to see. 2 days was perfect as we went to the Mondreal Cathedral a must do.
This was a wonderful BB. The location was perfect. The staff great.
We had trouble with the locks. We were informed the front due/ entrance key needed to be b pulled out part way. Our. Why don’t they fix the lock? Our room key was a problem we couldn’t open it one night and had to call for help. The next day we couldn’t get out. This lock needs to be replaced Olive oil doesn’t work. There is a wonderful garden for breakfast. If you love pastries this is your breakfast place! They also has fruit and some lambs lettuce which we loved.
The staff was amazing. AC works great. Shower leaked
Bed was comfortable. Fireworks go off at all hours in the city and the children are running strings outside screaming at all hours all over the city.
Over all great place to be in Palermo.

Our stay at this B&B in Palermo was fantastic. We stayed in a spacious suite with a large modern room and bathroom, complete with a rain shower. The views from both the bedroom and our private balcony were stunning, especially the view of the Cathedral of Palermo.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, with Andrea going above and beyond to offer valuable advice for our short stay. Nothing was ever too much trouble for them. Communication was excellent—they even sent us restaurant recommendations during our stay.

The B&B’s peaceful garden area provided a quiet retreat from the hustle and bustle of Palermo, yet it was conveniently located close to all the major attractions. Breakfast was simple but enjoyable, with a small continental selection and the option to order freshly cooked eggs and coffee.

I highly recommend this B&B for anyone visiting Palermo. It was a perfect blend of comfort, great service, and location.

B&B Sant’Agostino is a beautiful and stylish place to stay right in the heart of Palermo’s old town. There, you are within 10 minutes walk of the cathedral, Cappelata Paletina, 3 thriving street markets and countless other attractions, bars and restaurants.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. They have excellent recommendations for nearby places to eat, which beaches are the best and they are happy to arrange airport transfer.

The room we stayed in was gorgeous, comfortable and the air conditioning was effective and completely silent! Perfect!

This B&B is extraordinary. It's in a slightly off the beaten path spot a couple blocks south of the Capo market and a few blocks west of La Maqueda in Palermo. I'm not sure how old the building is, probably 1800s, but someone spent some money making the rooms very comfortable and up to date, and the greenery is spectacular. The staff is amazing and helpful, they set us up with a wonderful local driver (Lavinia) who was incredibly helpful in getting us around town and shared so much local knowledge with us (she spoke little English, we spoke close to zero Italian, she used a translator app. I can't say enough nice things about her, she really made our visit.) The property is beautiful, the breakfast spread was amazing. If you want to stay at a Hilton,this isn't it, but if you want an unforgettable Sicilian experience, this is the place for you.

This is a beautiful B&B, an absolute jewel. The standard of decor is so high. It’s a period home with high painted ceilings. It’s so authentic you can almost imagine you’re in the 17th century. Love this B&B!

Sant'Agostino B&B was a dream come true. I could not have asked for a better accommodation while in Palermo. The location was 100% unique and right in the middle of people going about their daily lives. Guglielma, our host is one of the kindest people I've ever met. She was very helpful in helping us get around town and recommending things to do and see. Also, as a side note, I'm in sheer awe of her because in my time there I heard her speaking no fewer than four languages fluently to other guests from other countries. I highly recommend staying in this B&B. The rooms are clean and modern, the breakfast in the morning in superb and the wifi is reliable. I did not want to leave and I'm already dreaming about the day I can return. I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else in Palermo.

Great B&B close to the main attractions

Beautiful old building which has been restored and turned into a B&B, there is sunny courtyard to sit on and it's within walking distance of the main attractions and the station. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The Breakfast was simple but excellent quality and filling and our room was awesome.

I would recommend this lovely B&B to anyone without hesitation! We felt so lucky to have found such a delightful place to stay while we were in Palermo. Everything was so well-kept, clean and comfortable, the whole team of staff are so kind and helpful. The garden terrace is beautifully peaceful, which is very welcome in the middle of the city- If there weren't so many things we wanted to see in town it would have been a pleasure just to sit there for a whole afternoon with a good book and thoroughly relax. Many thanks for everything, we would love to come back someday!

Accessible, friendly, spacious B&B.

Friendly, spacious, serene and well located for accessing central Palermo. My room, #6, opened to a large courtyard, had a great shower and excellent WiFi. This was a working vacation for me and I appreciated the ability to work outside my room in the courtyard.

San Agostino is a gem of a b&b in a great location. Our room was large and comfortable. There is a charming little garden and a lift. Everything is clean, tasteful and smells lovely. Breakfast is simple and fresh and served with a smile. We would return in a heartbeat.

Charming B&B - Perfect accomodation and service\n\n

We loved Palermo, in the short time we were there we saw and did such a lot, great city for walking, Unesco sites abound, traffic free areas in parts of the city, with bike lanes, hire bikes, hop on free buses, great food. Vibrant, friendly and we felt it to be a safe city.

Like most holidays the accommodation is key, our four night stay - not planned, booking based on reviews and photos of Sant'Agostino was more than we expected.

Gigliola' the manager is delightful, helpful, and gave us advice and tips on getting around.
The B&B is a full of character in a bustling market area very close to the historic centre, very safe area, inside it's an Oasis of peace and quiet,a beautiful building, decorated ceilings, the breakfast room looks out on to a pretty terrace and garden, the rooms are large and tastefully done, spotlessly clean and quiet. Good choice at breakfast, nice staff. We would return here anytime, we have stayed in some lovely hotels in Italy ( and some disappointing ones ! ) and this B&B was as good, better for personal service than the best. It made our holiday. Loved it.

Great B&B, close walking distance to downtown.

We stayed 8 nights from January 6-14, 2017. Gigi, our host was terrific. She speaks fluent English and was very helpful with everything from suggestions on what to see to printing our return boarding passes.
Our room was clean, quiet and comfortable with modern plumbing and a comfortable bed.
Everything was as advertised.The location was perfect for strolling around Palermo.
I would return here in a heartbeat.
