They are cheating

They called us last minutes (~20mins before we reached the Termini station) that it is canceled due to some technical problem, later someone else answer our call saying that we never had any reservation and then, they stop any discussions and never answered. It looked to us they gave room to someone else, despite the fact we texted (and hotels.com contact messenger wrote) them in advance about our arrival info. We are surprised it has such a good reviews, and it may be is good, but if you dont want to end up at on the street looking for another place --like us--, go somewhere else.

Lovely place to be

Warmly welcomed and breakfast was fabulous. Fresh croissant and coffee every day and others like fruit, yogurt, toast, different spread etc. Owners are so friendly. Room is very clean and new and bed is so comfortable. Quite area so essential for good night sleep. 7 min walk from the Manzoni.

Gorgeous owners take care of you like family. Perfect location to walk to sights. If you are lazy the Metro is a block. Plenty of restaurants downstairs.

Good location but horrible beds

The owners were very lovely people, the room very clean. However, the beds were horribly hard - and there was no breakfast which for a bed and breakfast makes it a bit of a miss for us. There are great restaurants on the same street, and the location is very close to the subway so getting around was very easy.

The place is very close to the station and about 10 min walk from Colosseum and other tourists attractions. This B&B is situated in an apartment block but it wasn't a problem for us. The room and whole place was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is self service and its typical Italian sweet variation of breakfast. The owners are very nice people who are there to help you with anything. There was a fire at the airport and the lady made an effort to find out if our flight is still flying.

Highly recommend that place.

Very lovely B&B. We loved our stay there, very clean and confortable room. Simple breakfast offered but perfect to get you going for morning excursions. The owner Gianluca is extremely kind and helpful. Walking distance to the colosseum about 15 min. Bus and train stops less than 5 min away. I recomend this place

Exceeded my expectations

We did not experience any of the previously stated issues on Expedia at Citta Eterna, our stay was budget friendly and very comfortable. They have certainly done everything they can to please their guests.
The wifi is good, air conditioning is included, lots of choice for breakfast and plenty of toiletries to keep you going.
Gianluca was very accomodating and friendly and even stayed up late to let us check in.
The front door is located right next to Pizzeria Forno A Legna restaurant and you just have to ring the right doorbell when you arrive.

great location

The location was really good. A 10-15 min walk to the collesuem. The neighborhood felt safe , even when we were walking around at night. There were a few restaurants on the same block,, one sit down the others were pizza and a donair restaurant that offered really good food at very reasonable prices, a nice change from pizza and pasta. The room was clean and bright and modern. The only complaint would be if you wanted to use wi fi it was hit and miss to whether it would work or not, also the TV was all fragmented

Not quite breakfast

The owner was nice enough and always available, however, breakfast was ONLY a single pre-wrapped croissant, spread, and coffee. It is quiet though with several restaurants on the same street and a subway station two blocks down. DIRECTION From TRAIN STATTION: Go out the main train station doors and go left to Via Giovanni Giolitti, then make another left. Walk down until you see Viale Allessandro Manzoni on your right. It will be down that street on your left. The cobblestone sidewalks don't make rolling a suitcase easy.

Not as Advertised

This B&B is on the 5th floor of an apartment house, with not much to identify it on the outside of the building. It promises wi-fi in the rooms, but there was only the teeniest part of a signal. The owner was gracious enough to let us out of our planned 3-night stay after the first night. Location is good - very near a Metro stop, with a supermarket nearby. But the surrounding noise in the courtyard of several apartment buildings made it noisy. Breakfast was nice and we met a nice couple from Russia. I would not stay there again.

Cheap hostel close to metro line. WIFI IS A LIE

Honestly the most important thing I wanted in a hostel in a foreign land was wifi, so that I could plan my days and transportation on my smart phone, and wifi was falsely advertised here. It existed but never worked. Otherwise it was a nice clean place.

Naples is very dirty and unpleasant city. The Hotel was OK and the staff were friendly but did not speak much English. At one point they were trying to check us out after 1 night even though we had booked for 3. The rooms were very noisy and the doors let every sound through, especially when you get rude French people standing outside in the hall talking loudly for ages at 11.00pm. The beds were very hard and the pillows were almost flat. We have had cheaper hotels that were more comfortable in other cities and those also included breakfast.

When in Rome...

We had trouble finding the B&B when we got there as the name was not on the entrance to the apartment block. Luckily a couple came out of the apartment who actually happened to be staying there so they took us through. Later we found out that the name on the apartment plaque where the buzzer is was called \"Four Seasons\" on level 5. Remember that if you stay here :) We paid extra 5 euros a night for air-con which was worth it. Room was nice and clean, spacious and quiet (with the exception of some rude house guests who stood outside our room from 10-11.15pm talking one night). It was about 10 min walk from the termini train station, and about 20 mins walk to the colosseum. There is a supermarket and laundry mat only a few mins away as well. Would stay here again.

Don't stay here.

A/C not included, charges way too much to turn it on. No A/C in common area either, just hot, hot, hot! Had to buy a fan but took it with us, left it on the street with a sign \"free fan\" in italian of course. Breakfast blah! Woman running it does not speak English so don't ask. She doesn't explain how to turn on lights or internet, be prepared to use lots of sign language.

Great location and clean!

great location at a good price. It's at a walking distance from main train station, the neighborhood there is not great but the closer you get to the hotel the nicer it gets. The person that helped us spoke at least 3 languages, was very helpful and knowledgeable, he even lent us a plug in converter to charge my phone. We went back at the hotel very late at night and we were safe. Good experience over all.

Close to the metro and very good price.Recomended

We stayed in this hotel for 6 nights.The location is 5 minutes from Manzoni metro station.Windows of our room were directed to the internal courtyard so it was very quiet.The size of the room is not small, it was OK for 2 people.Bathroom was clean and new.The staff cleans the room once in 3 days, for me it was not a problem.Only two weak points: uncomfortable beds, they are not soft and air condition needs extra pay (but it's mentioned in the hotel description so it was not a surprise).

Citta eterna in Rome-close to Colosseum

I stayed at this hotel at the end of march 2012. I am back for 2 days. The location is near the Termini Station (20 m walk) and Colosseum (15 m walk). The hotel is an apartment with 4 bedrooms with private bathrooms at the 5th floor of a condominium. The kitchen is shared. You can use the kitchen only at breakfast time 07:00-10:00 and the breakfast is continental: tea/milk/coffee, jam, bread, juice, butter, croissant, cornflakes. The room is quite clean but a bit chilly (the heat was off) and during the night I covered myself with two blankets. The sheets and towels are changed once at three days. The administrator Alfredo stays also in this apartment with his family. You receive 4 keys: one of the room, one for the apartment, one for the elevator and one for the main entrance in the condominium. If you accidentally loose the keys, you must pay 200 euros. The price is ok for what is offering and I would recommend it for anyone who has a small budged and is interested more in sightseeing, a clean room, acceptable breakfast and good location (5-7 m walk from the metro station).

Clean and basic

The b&b was in a convenient location and quite easy to find. The beds were a on the hard side so not the most comfortable. However the room was clean and reasonably spacious. Breakfast was basic, and consisted of 1 croissant per person and some fette biscotta (crisp bread) it was ok. We had no real contact with the owners and were left to fend for ourselves. They weren't particularly freindly but that had no effect on our stay, as Rome is a fantastic place to be.

Agréable séjour à Rome

Séjour très agréable à Città Eterna. Les propriétaires sont très gentils et souriants. Les chambres sont propres et très confortables et l'établissement est vraiment très bien situé !
Le seul bémol est l'insonorisation des chambres qui n'est pas très adaptée si les voisins de chambres sont bruyants.

Cittá Etterna lo tiene todo, atención y servicio excelente, limpieza, comodidad. Al llegar te sientes en casa y seguro. El desayuno es sencillo pero realmente lo que uno necesita para empezar el día en Roma. De los mejores lugares que he ido en Europa. Lo recomiendo totalmente. Está muy cerca al Coliseo y a la estación del metro Manzoni. La cual te facilita mucho los traslados por Roma.

Quarto muito limpo e pessoas super educadas. Não vimos o e-mail que tinha que avisar o horário de chegada, pois não tem portaria/porteiro. Fiquem atentos a isso. Muitos restaurantes próximos. Poderia melhorar o cafe da manha e colocar uma placa no prédio para identificar qual apartamento é o Bed & Breakfast. Foi uma boa hospedagem para poucos dias.

Excelente opção em Roma.

Um excelente B&B em Roma: está em uma boa localização, muito próximo a restaurantes e mercados e também bem perto de algumas das maravilhas históricas de Roma, a exemplo do Coliseu. A limpeza e o café da manhã são ótimos. E apesar de ser uma habitação em prédio antigo, o apartamento é bem confortável, com bom espaço e ótimo banheiro. A simpatia do anfitrião é outro ponto alto do Città Eterna.

Surpresa agradável

O Città Eterna Bed & Breakfast e seus Administradores foram surpreendentes. Muito bem recebidos e atendidos. Apesar de ser um área menos agitada da cidade, tivemos um boa sensação de segurança e fácil acesso ao transporte público. O elevador do prédio impressiona, mas é o suficiente para as necessidades. Quarto, banheiro e cozinha limpos, higiênicos e confortáveis diariamente, além de ser um prédio silencioso a qualquer hora do dia e da noite.

Letto comodissimo e biancheria di qualità

Ho scelto questo B e B fidandomi delle ottime recensioni e non sono rimasta delusa.
La struttura al 5 piano di un edificio datato (L ascensore è un pezzo da museo !) è completamente ristrutturata. Letto comodissimo con biancheria di qualità. La camera dava su un cortile interno molto silenzioso. Aria condizionata regolabile e frigobar.
I proprietari carini e disponibili. Metro e tram per Termini a 5 minuti a piedi.
Nel complesso ottima soluzione per chi vuol trascorrere qualche giorno a Roma ed essere sicuro di riposare bene.

Gutes B&B, Lage: nicht jedermanns Sache

Die Betreiber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer waren makellos sauber. Leider ist die Umgebung in Bahnshofshähe nicht so sympathisch, aber für den Peis OK.
In den Sommermonaten wird allerdings kein Frühstück angeboten! Das hatten wir übersehen. (Ersatz: ein Supermarkt direkt gegenüber, also auch kein Problem.

La posizione del B&B è ottima per soggiornare a Roma, vicina alle fermate dei mezzi pubblici, agli esercizi commerciali e in un quartiere tranquillo. La camera è spaziosa e semplicemente arredata con il bagno ben strutturato però al nostro arrivo abbiamo constatato che non ci è stato fornito nè il sapone nè altri detergenti da bagno. Una delle caratteristiche per cui avevamo scelto questa struttura era la presenza del WI-FI ma si è rivelato disponibile solo dalle 9 alle 23, solo nel locale cucina comune e praticamente non è mai funzionato in tutto il soggiorno. La pulizia della camera non è mai stata eseguita in quanto sul regolamento visionato in loco è specificato che la pulizia viene effettuata ogni tre giorni per soggiorni superiori alle 5 notti mentre all'atto della prenotazione questa importante informazione non era presente tra le caratteristiche della struttura.

Kleines, gemütliches, sauberes Zimmer/ Bad in der 5. Etage. Für den Preis wirklich völlig i. O.
Blick auf die Hinterhöfe. Abends bei geöffnetem Fenster etwas laut, aber erträglich. Schmales Treppenhaus, kleiner Fahrstuhl: nichts für schwache Nerven.
Personal: eine Person, die sehr wortkarg war. Frühstück: typisch italienisch, eher sporadisch. Der Tisch wurde gedeckt, der Kaffee bereitgestellt, der Rest war Selbstbedienung der zugeteilten Lebensmittel.
Standort: Das Hotel liegt etwas außerhalb des Zentrum (5 Stationen mit der U-Bahn). In der direkten Umgebung Supermarkt und Restaurant. Bis zur nächsten U-Bahnstation ca. 5 min. zu Fuß. Mit der U-Bahn alles super erreichbar. Wir haben ein 3-Tages-Ticket genutzt. Achtung: unbedingt auf seine Wertsachen achten, besonders am Wochenende.
Ansonsten ist Rom wirklich eine Reise wert. Eine wunderschöne Stadt mit vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Ich fahre sicher nochmal hin....

少人数での旅行にはもってこいのホテルです

テルミニ駅から徒歩だと20分ほどかかってしまいますが、地下鉄を使うと10分かからない程度の所です。また、徒歩５分かからない所に、地元のスーパーがあり、地元なので安価でお土産をたくさん買うことができます。ホテルの真横には美味しくて値段も手頃なレストランがあり、夜など、帰ってきた時にはこのレストランにお世話になることが二度もありました。
スリなどが多いと言われるので、セキュリティが心配でしたが、隠れ家のようなホテルで、建物の一部の部屋をホテルとして使用しているので、かなり安心できました。外見では伝わりませんが、中に入ると、ヨーロッパ風な感じが伝わってきます。部屋は小さめで、決して大きくはありませんが、お洒落な感じがして凄く落ち着きました。清潔感があり、新しい感じのする綺麗な部屋です。お風呂は浴槽のない、シャワーのみです（他の部屋とのシェアではありません。）
また、ホテルの持主さんが、優しくて親しみやすい人です。英語が話せるので分かりやすく、私たちの分からないことやお願いごとを色々と聞いて貰いました。掃除とバスタオルなどの交換は3日に一度だったと思います。
少人数（2人がベスト）の旅行だと、ここに泊まるべきだと思います。立地も悪くなく動きやすいし、内装は清潔感があり素敵な部屋ですし、ホテルの持主さんもいい人です。もう一度、ローマに行くことがあれば、リピートしたくなるくらいアットホームな落ち着くホテルでした。

Vi havde et super ophold på citta eterna! Renligheden var i top, og værelset var som det skulle være. Det eneste negative var morgenmaden! - Den var der ikke meget morgenmad over! Beliggenheden var perfekt, vi havde 5 min. til metroen. Alt i alt super godt ophold!

Sauber, allerdings sehr laut & sehr kleine Betten!

Wir haben zu Dritt in einem Zimmer geschlafen und das ging rein vom Platz her in Ordnung, allerdings waren die Betten ziemlich klein und die Matrazen sehr hart. Ich bin mir sicher, dass ein erwachsener männlicher Europäer dort nicht hineingepasst hätte (ins Bett).

Das Zimmer ansich war sehr sauber, allerdings hat der Abfluss extrem stark gerochen. Weiterer Minuspunkt ist das Internet. Es ist nur von 9 Uhr morgens bis Mitternacht verfügbar und dann auch nur sehr schwach. Außerdem war es ziemlich laut (Bauarbeiten, die Besitzer waren laut).

Das Frühstück ist für den deutschen Gaumen sicherlich nicht gut, denn es gibt von 7 bis 10 Uhr Kaffee, Zwieback, ein süßes Hörnchen mit Nutella oder Marmelade und was der Kühlschrank sonst so hergibt (als wir dort waren, nichts), aber immerhin kostenlos und auch nach 10 Uhr war immer etwas da.

Insgesamt betrachtet würde ich von dem Bed & Breakfast nicht abraten, aber für geräuschempfindliche und große Leute ganz sicher nicht geeignet.

Rauhallinen ja edullinen Bed and Breakfast

Citta Eterna on lähellä Terminin rautatieasemaa (n.10-15min.kävely), mutta hyvin rauhallinen, koska sijaitsee sivukadulla (Manzon). Kävelymatka Colosseumille kestää n.20min ja Manzonin metroasemalta pääsee helposti esim. St.Pietron metroasemalle, josta lyhyt kävelymatka Vatikaaniin, samoin Trevin suihkulähteelle jäämällä pois Spagnan metroasemalla. Kuitenkin Citta Eterna on sen verran sivussa ettei päivän mittään siellä voi poiketa. Huoneisto sisältää vain kolme 2h:n huonetta, ja keittiön, jossa yksinkertainen aamupala. Huone oli tosi siisti, samoin wc ja kylpyhuone. Sängyt ja tyyny olivat hiukan kovat. Henkilö, joka oli paikalla koko ajan, puhui vain vähän englantia, mutta kommunikaatio sujui. Jos tulee Suomesta Ryanairilla, joka on Ciampinon lentokentällä klo 23, kannattaa ottaa taksi. Alaoven osoitetauluissa yhdessä lukee Citta Eterna ja kun sitä painaa, sieltä tulee henkilö avamaan oven. Vieressä olevasta Pizzeriasta tuli myös tarjoilija neuvomaan. Kadun varrella on useita Pizzerioita ja kahviloita. Citta Eternaa voi suositella hyvin hinta-laatu-suhteensa puolesta, vaikka onkin hiukan etäällä keskustasta.

Godt og reelt sted

Vi havde 3 overnatninger og var overordnet meget tilfredse med vores ophold. Damen der arbejdede der var meget venlig og god til at give råd og ideer! Stedet var lille og intimt med bare tre værelser - hyggeligt!!! Det hele fungerede fint, men sengene var dog meget hårde og bruseren kunne godt have trængt til noget afkalkning! Alt i alt kan vi godt anbefale stedet.

ottima la posizione per chi deve andare in Sapienza o in stazione o in metro,stanza molto confortevole e ben rifinita. L'unica pecca, se così si può dire, è che la colazione poteva essere curata un po' di più...non mancava niente perchè c'erano cornetti, caffè, latte e succo di frutta, però potevano esserci più varietà di dolci e l'ultimo giorno nel frigo ha lasciato il succo d'arancia quasi finito senza aggiungerne uno nuovo...insomma piccole accortezze, niente di più!

Palvelu oli erittäin ystävällistä ja sekä huone että muut tilat hyvin siistejä. Hotelli on tosi rauhallinen, liikenne eikä muutakaan melua kuulu sisäpihan puolella olevaan hotelliin. Metroasema oli lähellä ja Colosseumille käveli 15 minuutissa. Tyynyt olivat kovia ja vessapaperia joutui pyytämään lisää kun sitä ei useammankaan päivän majoittuvalle tuotu lisää. Huoneessa ei ollut tuuletinta, joten päädyimme ottamaan pienestä lisämaksusta ilmastoinnin.

Bra läge

Vi trivdes jättebra. Nära till centralatationen och bara 15 minuters promenad till colosseum. Frukosten var väl kanske inte så rolig så vi åt frukost ute istället. Rent och fräscht! Flera restauranger i samma kvarter en direkt utanför dörren. Inget 'lyxhotell' men allt du behöver finns och värdesätter man bra läge till bra pris rekommenderar vi verkligen att bo här. Det var heller inga problem att lämna väskorna där när vi checkade ut och hade några timmar kvar till avresa. Skönt att slippa släpa på dem.

Bom ambiente e boa localização

Basicamente é um apartamento onde se alugam quartos. O nosso tinha uma casa de banho privativa. No geral estava tudo limpo. Tivemos direito a pequeno-almoço, que era bom. De resto, a localização é muito boa e há uns restaurantes bons mesmo em frente.
