Just a one night stay. Location was good, room was very small for three.

A/C did not work, had to open window and mosquitoes killed us.

We asked for help going up three flighrs of stairs with luggage and the employee ((Paolo?) begrudgingly helped with just one. My wife had to bring up the others up as I was returning our car rental.

Everything else was okay.

Super cute lounge and patio area. Love that they offered family style meals for purchase each night. Staff was helpful. AC for use at night in room was amazing during 90 degree weather! Beds comfy and room clean. Did see a few ants and bathroom really small which wasn’t ideal. A little far
From major attractions but public transport close and desk will get you a taxi if you ask

Nice and cool in rooms. Good privacy in bunks. WiFi didn't work great in rooms. Staff were mostly nice. Free supper half the nights. Was a great stay would stay again

The hostel is clean, very friendly staff and very close to public transportation. They host free dinners for guests and it’s a nice opportunity to get to know people and mingle. They have a towel rental service for €3 and laundry service on site for a fee. Only complaint is the pod doors/storage drawers can be loud and guests should try to be more mindful when opening/closing those.
Overall really enjoyable stay!!! Would recommend!

I stayed an extra night, super comfy and secluded bed with sliding and locking door for a private loft feeling. Super clean room and immaculate shower, hot water was legitimate. Thank you!

Great hostel for its location!!! The staff were awesome too. It was my only hostel experience in Rome so I’m not sure of the standards but the space was just ok. No elevator, tons of stairs, mattress was paper thin :( also there was no plug in in the bed/nest area? All these issues were pretty minor and didn’t hurt my stay at all, except for contributing to my jet lag exhaustion lol. The biggest surprise: the shower & water pressure are INCREDIBLE!!!

On my first night, it seems that the room I was assigned had bedbugs or a similar issue, I woke up with bites on my lips and cheeks ( they were swallowed and red) I went to the reception kind of freaked out and uncomfortable but I was told I needed to wait until the next shift and the manager was available. I tried to stay calm but his response was shocking and he basically told me to go out and come back later. Later that morning when the next shift started the other guy told me I need to check out by 11am (and leave my suitcases on the reception) but that the next room/bed would be available by 3pm so I was left without a place to stay or rest for a few hours. Additionally, when I came back a little later than 3pm the manager that provided me with the room he treated me like a made that out (even though I showed them pictures and the first receptionist saw the redness) and that they didnt found anything wrong in the room as if Bedbugs were noticeable. Well, that leads me to think they don’t clean those mattresses properly.

I would stay here again.

My stay was great. The staff were friendly and helpful, there was a Metro station within easy walking distance, and some nights there would be a free dinner. I do strongly recommend a better beer selection, though.

Nice place at a decent price

The hostel is situated in a great part of the city,close to the train station.
Cabins in the room were ok,though it was very hot inside,as the AC doesn’t reach the inside.No towels provided.

here's some stuffs had CORONA positive, but they had not worn musk always, especially fat old man.
I guess he was spreading CORONA.
I saw many times he talked very loud without wearing mask.

In addition to this, they don't have any interest in hygiene, they didn't clean my room until I asked them.

Beware of Bed Bugs.

I enjoyed the location but the bed bugs were everywhere. I'm sure there are nicer howtels out there that are much cleaner. I came back with so many bites, and the girl who slept above me was also bitten by bed bugs.

Fun Hostel with Outdoor Patio

It's a cool hostel with a good friendly atmosphere. The lounge is nice but the outdoor area is even better. Plus the beer on tap and other drink choices available make it seem like you're at home chillin. All they need is a grill :-)
Beds were comfortable so that's a plus. The storage areas were quite large however it's a stacked storage so if you're short and you have the top one it may not work out well for you. The alternative is if you've got the bed with the door lock then you can lock your items in your sleeping zone.
Shower is a lil small but it's doable. The only other item missing is a few more hooks to hang clothing. Overall, I'd stay again.

Nice Stay

It had been a while since I stayed in a hostel, and I was a little nervous about that. Free Hostels Roma was great! The staff is super friendly, and helpful. It was weird sharing a room again, but once you get past that (and some of the noise from outside and the hallway), the stay was quite pleasant. It is also really close to the metro station, and easy to get to from the airport. If I was to stay in a hostel again, I would definitely choose Free Hostels Roma :)

This was perfect for me. I was looking for privacy as this was my first stop after a long flight and I was very jetlagged. The pod idea is excellent as I could also block out the light. The beds were also super comfy.
The staff were very lovely and everything was kept clean.
The wifi was decent, not always perfect but pretty good.

Cerca de estación de metro y coliseo romano, personal muy amable además algunos hablaban español. Habitación excelente, amplia y cápsulas muy bien diseñadas.
Un punto en contra sería que no tienen elevador.
Cada noche había una cena por 6 u 8 euros aunque la mayoría de mi estadía hubo pasta gratis por la noche.

El guey que atendía en el escritorio estaba enojado todo el tiempo. No hay toallas en las habitaciones, si quieres una toalla te piden 4 euros. No hay buena limpieza en general, hay mugre de meses.

テルミニ駅から歩いて行ける。近く地下鉄の駅もスーパーもある。コロッセオまで道がまっすぐで迷わず歩けた。ちょっとだけ距離があるけど。シャワーは少し弱めの固定式。しかし部屋にありました。またローマに行くならここを使うと思います。全く英語が話せないがどうにかなった。英語でもイタリア語でも話せればもっと楽しいとおもう。当たり前だが耳栓は必要な人もいると思う。
