Good value for the money

Location in a nice park. Entry and hall slightly used. Rooms OK, clean. Breakfast sufficient. Wifi in the room OK.
Very bad acoustic insulation - you hear everything from the hallway and neibourghing rooms.
Rubish in front of the gate.

The hotel outside looks a bit dilapidated but the rooms are big enough and clean. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Far from the city centre but only 15min walk from the metro station.

We chose this hotel because it was located close to where we were meeting up with a tour. The room was very nice and spacious and clean! When we travel to Rome this will be our hotel of choice. Buffet breakfast was good with a wide variety of both hot and cold items.

Sept. 16 & 17:
The carpeting on the hallway from the door was damp! Small room; no light above the working desk; the internet WiFi was terribly weak. A few front desk staff were somewhat unfriendly.
Location was quite and very good however; and breakfast was average.

Room was clean but had limited A/C and seemed to be tailored to tour groups rather than jndividual guests. Breakfast was a cattle drive type of funnel through expedition. Nearest subway station was a mile from hotel with no shutle service and minimal sidewalk space. Would not recommend unless no other options were available,

Not as advertised...no air conditioning

One of my selection criteria is always airconditioning.
Sadly it was not working/ available.
When i requested a fan for my room..I was told they did not have one.

Quiet Older Hotel in a very safe area

This hotel caters mainly to tour groups. An excellent choice if one is driving own vehicle as there is ample, free and secure parking. An older hotel that is situated on a large gardened property which is a delight for Rome. The furniture and decor is stark and cold. I would rank this at most a 3 and a half star hotel. The closest Metro is Cornelia which is a brisk 20 minute walk on Via Aurelia. Few amenities in the neighbourhood although there are a restaurants within a 10 minute walk on Via Aurelia.

Hotel Pamphili Green Park, Rome

The hotel is homely. The staff were excellent especially in the reception, the restaurant & the bar. These staff made our stay something special. The restaurant food was very tasty. The room was clean & comfortable. The location is slightly out of the city but means that it is not as noisy as hotels in the centre. The Metro is only a 15 minute walk away which will get you to most of the visitor attractions.

Good Location but Wi-fi Wasn't Working

Overall very good location, clean and spacious rooms but wi-fi wasn't working and mini-bar was empty.

Firstly, the hotel is very big and set in a secluded location. As another reviewer mentioned it seems to specialise in coach tours. The gate is locked at a certain time so if you come back either late at night or early in the morning you may have to call the intercom so that the staff can open the gate for you.

The hotel is situated about 15 minutes walk from Cornelia metro station just off a busy main road - this to me is the hotel's biggest selling point. There is a nice Chinese restaurant about a three minute walk back towards the main road. A word of warning; the footpaths are very narrow (just enough width for one person) so if you are carrying a lot of luggage walking can be tricky.

Rooms are spacious and very clean. However the place is a bit sparse. There was no information pack in the room and the mini-bar was empty!

The hotel description claims internet access and indeed I picked up the hotel wireless network on my laptop, mind you this was only available in the lobby and there was no signal in my room. Perhaps this is because my room was on the 4th floor? However the wireless network wouldn't work so when I asked the staff they told me that the wi-fi wasn't working. This is where the hotel drops a rating for me. Internet access is also offered via a couple of communal PCs to one side of reception but these seemed to suffer from the same broken connection. I was left to plan my holiday in Rome using a free map I got at the airport!

There was a decent buffet breakfast available in the restaurant which included cereal, juice, yoghurt, fruit, ham, cheese, bread, tea and coffee and cake! The staff member on duty at breakfast was friendly. One word of warning; the day I left I went to breakfast early, around 7am, and there was a massive queue. The restaurant also serves other meals but I only ever had breakfast there so I can't comment any further.

Rome Family Vacation

The hotel is very nice and located in a quiet, safe neighbourhood. The staff were very helpful and the room was spacious, clean and very pleasing. The hotel is located about 600 meters from the Metro (subway train) which is ideal for going anywhere. You can take a bus to the Metro or walk like we did. I was very pleased with the hotel and the staff. This was my second time in Rome and the last hotel I stayed in, the rooms were very small although nice. The rooms at the Clarhotel were great.

Hotel in a Park

Almost every taxi driver we had had a little trouble finding this hotel even with gps; it is in a park setting behind gates. While we were there (over Easter) several bus loads of tourists from Spain and Germany arrived and I got the impression bus tours are most of their business. The hotel has an old fashioned elegance and the rooms very clean and spacious. We had a nice view of the garden area. The staff was very accomodating and put us in the room early since we had come from the U.S. on an overnight flight and arrived well before the official check-in time.
The Metro is about a half mile (or more) away and my husband balked at walking there after the first day so we usually took a cab to the Metro (about 10 euros). There are buses on the main street that would certainly connect with the Metro but I never did learn to use them.
We did check out the Mercato just across the street from the Metro. Interesting to see all the hams and cuts of meat we don't have as well as the cheeses, veggies and fruits. You can get some prepared food there for a quick lunch.

Muito caro para as condições que oferece

Fica a 1.4 Kms do metro o que é excelente. Está num sitio muito sossegado.
Apesar de ser 4 estrelas parou no tempo nos anos 60.... Com o espaço que tem merecia ser remodelado, é ter um bar para os clientes possam usufruir de uma bebida.
Pequeno almoço com pouca variedade, os pães pequeninos não se conseguiam comer de duros que estavam.

L'Hotel di trova in un ottima posizione raggiungibile prima con la metro fino a Cornelia e poi l'autobus dopo 4 fermate si trova vicino all'Hotel Ergife dove si svolgono anche i concorsi

Hotel ben curato e pulito. Ampia struttura immersa in una pineta che regala aria pulita e rinfrescante dalla calura estiva, non lontano dalle mura del Vaticano e dal centro città. Camere pulite e confortevoli. Ricca e varia la colazione da 4 stelle. Parcheggio auto nel verde e gratuito. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

Hotel grande, una sorta di casermone. Il nome inganna poichè con il nome pamphili uno pensa ad una vicinanza ragionevole a piedi da villa doria pamphili ma non è così.
Poi al prezzo di 100 euro per notte neanche una bottiglietta di acqua in frigo...devi scendere per il distributore automatico o morire di sete in piena notte! Colazione da 3 in pagella. Non credo di tornare...

Stanza situata al piano terra, orribile, vecchia e in uno stato di decadenza. Letto scomodo con materasso a molle. Stanza con moquette in cattive condizioni. Doccia vecchia e in cattive condizioni.
Si sentiva perfettamente quello che avveniva nella stanza accanto e già dalle 6 del mattino c'era un via vai di personale che parlava a voce alta.
Per essere un 4 stelle abbiamo avuto un'esperienza negativa.
Unica nota positiva sul personale che al check-in e check-out e nella sala colazione è stato cordiale.

Hotel che ha pretese di essere un quattro stelle ma lo è solo sulla carta. Vive di rendita, grazie al vicino hotel. Lucra sulle necessità dei concorsisti perché la stanza non vale certo 120€ a notte. Stanze di antica concezione (mi sono ritrovato in camera una tv con tubo catodico), fredde e non molto pulite.
