We stayed at this property for one night and whilst the check in was not smooth, the hotel Manager Kiki resolved the situation quickly and made sure we enjoyed our stay .

The hotel room was adequate ( we had booked a basic room ,
) the restaurant offered a great breakfast and in the evening we dining around the pool . The food quality is of a high standard and the service is warm and friendly.

We would like mention two employees; Sylvester and Teo who chatted with us and made us feel special . This individual service makes a hotel stay so much better .

The hotel has the largest pool in Kamari with plenty of beds around the pool and the beach .

We will definitely return to this hotel , next time we are in Santorini.

We love everything about this Hotel. It is Beachfront and walking distance to all nice restaurants in the area. Nice big swimming pool. Staff are wonderful. Breakfast buffet was amazing. Lots of options. Bed and pilows are comfortable. Balcony has a nice view of the pool and the ocean.

We stayed 4 nights at The Kamari Beach Hotel from Aug 26th-30th. Loved the location. Awesome pool and great staffs and excellent service. Beautiful coutyard and breathtaking view of the mountain and the beach.
The rooms were clean and spacious. We found the bedsheets were too starchy for a good night sleep.

Great resort in at a nice beach. The room was clean, comfortable and relatively close to the beach / pool. The beach was nice, although the organization was quite tight - chairs and umbrellas every where with no chance to escape the crowds. The area was similar - tons of shops and restaurants. If you’re looking for lots of developed tourist stuff (shopping, restaurants and beaches), this place is perfect. If you’re looking far a quite beach, Kamari may not be your place.

The front section of the hotel near the beach is beautiful. The pool and bar also great, however it looks a very stark contrast to the back and some of the rooms.
My room smelt damp, there was mould on the walls. The air con didn’t work, it was just a big fan on the ceiling.
The room itself was extremely noisy, next to a road, and a walkway so couldn’t relax.
It was also dark, the only natural light was a curtain to move for a small window on the door, but then everyone walking past could see in.
Was woken by the maids/staff talking/shouting at 6am each day.
The maids would come at different times during the day, sometimes 5pm, 9am, 1pm, so was always worried they were just going to walk in.
No signs to put on door saying do not disturb.

It is so cheap and easy to get to other parts of Santorini by bus. The bus stop is right outside the hotel. I would love to stay here again!

Only things which let this hotel down is rooms, the smell of drains, and value for money. Lunch time menu between 12 and 5 is fab but menu for dinner changes which is overpriced. If you love a sandy smooth beach do not come here. We paid extra for room with a sea view which is lovely but although there’s good storage for clothes, it’s far too small and bathroom is so tightly packed and uncomfortable. Shower curtain used which didnt do the job as water goes everywhere, although there is a knack to it. It’s a real shame about the rooms because the cleanliness round pool and the cleaning staff are fab. Main guy on reception not so good, everything was too much trouble for him and he was miserable 95% if the time.This is our 2nd time here so would we come again? Not to this hotel until major refurbishment done to the rooms! Island is a must though, truly is beautiful!

First trip to Santorini

The hotel is located in a great area, right on the beach. Kamari is a great choice in Santorini. It is close to the airport and you can easily take a bus to Oia to see the picturesque village. Our favorite thing about the hotel is the pool area. The pool does close for swimming rather early (6 PM) but the pool area is an awesome place to hang out at night on the sun-beds. The area around the hotel has lots of stores and restaurants.

Terrible Hotel, reception staff is not good at all

I mistakenly booked a room for 1 person on Expedia instead of 2 person. On repeated emails i was told i will be given a double bedroom at a surcharge of 30 euros per night we stayed for 3 Nights and paid 90 euros up front (which was more then booking a double bedroom for 2 people on Expedia) on seeing the room the hotel had provided with the same single budget room with no change in accommodations, the comforters did not have even the basic fresh piece of linen on them they give the same bare comforters used by previous guests to new guests, the bathroom was so small that we had to go sideways just to enter on complaing about this to the management they tell us and i quote ‘You Get What You Pay For’ I paid 130 euros per night for the worst and smallest room possible in Kamari Beach. Do not go by the photos the staff is very rude and management is terrible. On our way back to the airport I asked if the hotel can arrange a cab to which they said yes, Santorini has somewhat of fixed rate cabs from point A to point B so a Mercedes Cab from Kamari to Airport costs 20 euros flat. First our cab arrived 25 mins late we would have missed our flight if we hadn’t kept margin time on asking the reception again and again about the whereabouts of the cab he kept stalling is for the next 20 mins that the cab is just gonna be here in the next 2 mins when the cab finally arrived it was a private car, no where near a cab he dropped us about 10 mins walk before the airport saying I can’t go in.

Accommodation disappointing - cramped, lack of wardrobe and drawer space. Bathroom verged on dangerous with a \"sit in bath\" which made showering almost impossible.
The pool area was impressive, but spoiled as it appears the hotel allowed non-residents to use the pool and bar area which resulted in the facilities being overly crowded.

Best Hotel in Kamari

The Kamari Beach Hotel was fantastic. Right on the beach, and it has the best restaurant on the strip. The rooms were small but very clean, and the staff was incredibly helpful in navigating the bus system so we could visit the towns of Fira and Oia (15 minutes by bus). It's also located right next to the path leading up to Ancient Thira, an archeological site to get some culture in. Overall we had a fantastic time, I definitely plan on coming back.

Enjoyed our first visit to Kamari Beach which was enhanced by staying at this hotel. Have only one criticism which is the size of the bathroom we had. My husband had to step out into the bathroom to dry himself as it was so small but understand rooms not with sea views have bigger bathrooms. Staff all lovely.

Kamari Beach Hotel is fine if you like muzak - it's all over the joint even down at the sun beds on the beach. Not conducive to reading and relaxing. It's also got a fair share of British holiday package deal guests - think Benidorm 40 years ago.

Beautiful hotel by the beach with a great staff

I just stayed at the Kamari beach hotel for a week. I spent a lot of time at the hotel and the beach that it's next to (Kamari Beach) and had a great time!

While the wifi in my room was mediocre, it had excellent reception throughout the common areas of the hotel including out on the sun chairs by the pool and even reasonable reception on the sun chairs by the beach. The hotel is right on the beach and has an excellent restaurant bar to eat at overlooking the ocean.

Most importantly, the staff was amazing. I particularly had great service and discussions from the three Staff members named Yannis (I know, what are the odds?). They were superb, great workers who helped me enjoy my stay that much more.

I also had a late flight out and not only did they print the boarding pass for me at the front desk but they also let me hang around the hotel pool / sun chairs til I had to leave.

Overall a great stay that was very reasonably priced and made for a great vacation! Would recommend.

Great location and cleanliness first class.

Hotel reception staff were friendly and helpful and spoke good English. Other staff were friendly but not all understood what we were asking for.
Best rooms were those that had pool/sea views. Number 208 (where I stayed) was the best! Breakfast was pretty basic....the bread selection was very good and very delicious.
I personally did not venture far from the resort but I understand from other visitors the bus service was pretty good and stopped a short walk from the hotel.

We absolutely loved our stay! We could not have picked a better hotel
Not only does it have the nicest/biggest pool facing the beach on the Kamari strip, they have top-notch service
Our favorite staff are Christos, Yannis, Aexilles and Konstantinos. They truly are the best and warmest

SeaView view room is definitely worth the extra dollars, it's completely breath taking. Most enjoyable and relaxing stay. Always room for hotel guests on those beach lounge-chairs.

Great beach location

Great location for the beach and the hotel staff was very helpful. Nice large pool so great for families. The room we stayed in was a little older, but it had a balcony with a great beach view. The only problem I had was with the small bathroom - the vent was connected to the next room and you could hear everything between the two bathrooms.(we would play music in the bathroom to help). For the price and location - great value.

Don't stay here! There are so many hotels for just 20-40 Euro more that are so much nicer and are also on the beach. The rooms are incredibly outdated. The floors and under the beds were dirty. There was a large stain on our comforter which we had to point out to the staff in order to get a new comforter. The showers are tiny and use a cloth curtain that touches and clings to you the entire time you shower. The hotel charges you 1 euro a day per beach towel and 1.5 euro a day to use the safe in your room. You also cannot get Wifi in your room. You have to be in \"shared space\" areas in the hotel (i.e. Pool, dining room, lobby,etc.). Don't waste your money!

Centrally located and right by the beach, this hotel is ideally situated to access all the bars, restaurants.The rooms are cleaned and serviced every day and the hotel staff are very accommodating. Big swimming pool which is cleaned and serviced every morning with an adequate bar which is open from 10 a.m. till 2 a.m.
There are a few niggles, however:
The wet room (combined toilet, sink and shower) is so small there is just about room for one person to negotiate its confines compounded by the fact that the door opens inwards. A sliding of folding door would help a lot. The shower holder was also broken.
Wi-Fi is free but reception is hit and miss and only moderately reliable in the reception area.
There is also a problem on site with feral cats creating a lot of noise, mess and smell. This prompted several complaints from the guests.

Beautiful view from the room.

Our double room had a fantastic view out to sea from Kamari. Situated 30 seconds from the beach and in a very good location within Kamari. Staff were very pleasant and drinks from the pool area well priced. Staff would also serve to the beach area in front of the hotel. Pool was refreshing.

My Daughter and I had a Sea View room for a week which had incredible views over the pool and, of course. the Sea. The staff here are wonderful people who genuinely care that you enjoy your stay on the island. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The cleaners left the room spotless every day and the open areas and corridors were also really well maintained. The breakfast was of a good quality if you chose continental but slightly limited on cooked. Having said that, with the temperature outside so high who needs a cooked breakfast?

I've seen a couple of reports that the Hotel is noisy which isn't really true. Compared to the surrounding hotels it may be a bit loud for a few hours at night. But by comparison to a Spanish Costa Hotel its a morgue. On the one night when I wasn't outside enjoying the ambience I closed the windows, put on the AC and heard nothing...and our room was over the bar.

And do have a look at the jewellery and wood carving shop annexed to the Hotel. Fantastic.

The location was superb, right on the beach. The hotels location means you are never more than 20 feet from dozens of fresh fish restaurants, however be aware the owners are all vying for your hard earned euro and will promise the earth to you in exchange for patronage. The hotel had a dated feel to it and could do with modernisation, our room overlooking the beach and pool was paid for at a premium, the view was stunning which made the decor bearable, we even overlooked the lack of a bathroom extractor, sorry did I say bathroom what I meant to say was telephone kiosk, trying to dry yourself after a shower was a daily bashing of elbows onto walls and whatever else was swinging around needing drying, I am not exactly overweight so god help those more challenged in that department. Overall though a lovely little private hotel, breakfast was fantastic, toast, fresh bread, sausages, bacon etc more than enough to set you up for the day.the cleaners were working very hard, the waiters goodness knows how they do the hours they do. Kamari was overall lovely and quaint, the other side. Of the island however was a nightmare, Oia or to pronounce it correctly Ear was a blooming nightmare, if you don't like crowds then stay at home, between cruise ships and Japanese tourists the place was awful, Santorini take note you are letting to many in and your island is drowning...

Our stay was not as good as it is made out to be on your hotel site. Actually, when you feel unsafe from almost the very minute you arrive how can your stay be even rated as a mediocre 'good'.
As an airline pilot, and seasoned traveller, my family and I expect more, a lot more, from a highly rated hotel, even if it is in the islands.
Upon our arrival we were given a key to our room. When we opened the door there was stuff all over the place. At first it didn't dawn on us that we had just walked into someone else's life. When it did we kindly closed the door and went back to the front desk. I went to see the manager. We were eventually told by the manager that the reason for the mix-up was because the room we were assigned and the room next door were together and that the people had checked out of one room and kept the other one, having surrendered the wrong key to the front desk. WHAT?, this is no excuse since the room had needed to be cleaned by the maid before we arrived and also confirmed clean by the front desk before it could be released - so what does this have to do with surrendering the wrong key, especially since the correct key was given almost immediately to my wife???
This hotel is ok for what you get for your money, but when you feel uncomfortable and unsafe from the minute you arrive it is not a good place to stay!!!
When you arrive the hotel already has your non-refundable full payment and good luck to getting it, or part of it, back.

I would firstly like to say. Make a foot path for your customers to carry there luggage.
The girl at the front desk had to finish her personal conversation before she served us. Little did she know I spoke Greek. and referred my friend and I in the conversation

Great hotel.

The Kamari Beach Hotel is very nice, clean and comfortable. Staff were extremely helpful and very friendly. The beach was only a few feet from the hotel. There were many restaurants and shops in the surrounding area. We had a front-facing sea view room which was really lovely, but only downside was the very very small bathroom and the rooms are not sound-proofed. Apparently someone said the rooms at the back of the hotel do not have a bath but they have a shower tray and the bathroom is slightly bigger. Excellent selection at the buffet breakfast. The pool was the largest we have seen in Kamari. We had a lovely time and would definately stay there again.

It was lovely the time we've spent at Kamari Beach Hotel. Breakfast was beautiful.... a lot of variety and delicious! We've got the best sea view room. Cleanliness was fine, I wish the chambermaid would have washed our glasses on daily basis but she did not... Nice bed. The only minus factor is the TV... very small and just one English channel... Staff very friendly, swimming pool is very good. Regarding the location, was p-e-r-f-e-c-t !!! We definitely recommend Kamari Beach Hotel!

Great Resort but not so great Hotel

The Hotel looked ok from the outside, we booked a superior room with a landscape view, we had a toilet in the actual shower area toilet rolls had to be removed otherwise they got wet!! There was no wardrobe as such just a hanging space, 2 small draws with about 4 inch depth!!The room was small and i would dread to think what a standard room looked like. The breakfast was not of a good quality. The staff were good. Reception not very helpful. We have stayed in this resort twice previously. We really were not happy with our room.

Quiet hotel, great pool area, attentive staff. Close to everything, loved walking the boardwalk. Mini mart to buy fresh. Fruit and water. Nice variety of shopping, fun bars, good food choices.

A wonderful place to chill.

Great location...away from the craziness of the cruise ship crowds that take over Fira, but close enough to take advantage of Fira and Oia's sites and views. The hotel is very comfortable and the staff is lovely. The pool is the biggest in Kamari (great if you swim laps). Will definitely book there again (and again).

This hotel is far from town. you have to rent a car to go any where. We like the service, and the restaurants in the beach, infront of the hotel.
That the shower was very small and eathier a thin and a small person won´t fit in it.

Cannot fault this CLEAN hotel, pleasing stay!

Very high standard for a 3 Star in Santorini. Immaculate, Clean Hotel. Friendly and Helpful staff. Good breakfast and Pool Bar offering Bar food until very late. No need for extra facilities as you are not going to use hotel apart from breakfast if you want it or lovely pool and sleeping as Santorini takes you outdoors ALL day and night lterally. Cannot complain with what we paid for this hotel, no faults. Balcomy view was at back/middle of hotel but pleasing view of volcano and white washed hotel suites with Garden Areas, pleasing, quiet and relaxing. Night security adds extra personal peace of mind, however this is certainly not needed in Santorini, safe hotel and area at Kamari for couples or families. Would stay again

Lovely Couples' Retreat

The location is excellent - right on the beach and far enough from the airport that the plane noises are pretty much a non-issue.

Breakfast every morning was very good; there was a reasonably good assortment of food, and plenty of traditional Greek things, which is what I'd hoped for. There's also a great assortment for vegetarians and reasonably good for vegans, a pleasant surprise.

Everyone at the hotel that we dealt with was very nice and helpful, including bar staff and the cleaners. We chose a sea-view room, and were very happy to do.

The pool was nice; clean and large, and there were always enough sun beds and space. There was even wifi in our room and out by the pool, which was excellent.

Our only complaint was that we expected a double bed and ended up with 2 singles; and they were (in typical fashion) not the softest beds I've ever slept on. Unfortunately, according to the front desk, the number of double beds is very limited. We didn't follow up with it and made do, but it's worth bearing in mind when booking.

I would definitely recommend this hotel, and our expectations were exceeded.

All in all a nice hotel, if a little basic

Nice hotel. At first we were a little disappointed; the room was small, and we had booked a \"superior double\". I don't want to know what the standard was! But the main thing is it was clean; maid service daily and clean towels as you request. Staff very friendly and helpful, but the main selling point of this Hotel is the pool. It's easily the biggest we saw, and has plenty of room for sunbathing. They put the loungers away each night, which stops the entire \"towel on bed\" annoyance of other places we have visited. It has an outside BBQ around the pool, which I think could be put to use a lot better.

Kamari is a nice location from which to explore the Island, and the Kamari Beach Hotel is literally on the beach, so you get the sea breeze around the pool, without burning your feet on the black sand, or paying €3.50 per bed on the beach!!

\"lovely hotel with great beach access\"

One of the best aspects of this hotel is the proximity to the beach (it's right out the front) and also the lovely big pool it has which overlooks the beach. The service is good, you are an easy walk from dive schools, car hire services any restuarant or bar you might like and of course the beach itself. The rooms are comfortable and clean and all you could ask for in a place to sleep, as you will be spending you days out and about enjoying the wonders that Santorini has to offer.

Great 3 star hotel in a supeb island

We had a great time in the hotel. The room with see view was wonderful, the staff friendly and in general everything was as we expected it to be. We defentetly recomend it. The only thing we didn´t enjoy very much was the shower as it was unconfortable and looked stained.

Great bargain for access to paradise

This is one one of the best locations one the Island. Kamari Beach Hotel is a great priced hotel for a good place to rest while exploring Santorini. Situated right in the middle of the boardwalk, the hotel has a great pool and nice breakfast bar. There are nicer hotels in the same area, but I cant see paying more for the same access to shops and dining. Kamari Beach is also located near Ancient Thira which is a hike or short ATV ride up the mountain. Santorini is truly wonderful.

Love it!

The hotel is AWESOME! It is right on the beach with private access, has two outdoor pools that are very nice, one indoor pool, Turkish bath, tennis, and inclusive breakfast and dinner buffets that are great! I highly recommend this hotel to all travelers...couples, families, friends, etc. Things that I didn't like was the pools and Turkish bath close at 7-8p. There were nights where I wanted to jump in the heated indoor pool but it was closed :(

We paid extra for an ocean view room and the view was subpar - we could barely see the water (the majority of our view was of the hotel next door). We had to change rooms 3 times due to various problems; however, the hotel was very accommodating. The room was clean; however, the bathroom was unacceptable. The shower/ tub was claustrophobic and gross. We had to wear shoes in the shower and it was so small that you could not move without touching the shower liner. The pool and beach area was very nice. Furthermore, we were disappointed that wireless internet was only available in the hot lobby. The included breakfast was decent. The ocean view rooms are overpriced for what you get.

Lovely Santorini hotel! Definitely will stay again!

The Hotel itself was very clean and offered the Greek ambiance we were hoping for. The front desk had very nice and helpful staff. There were plenty of options in terms of things to do. The location was awesome - it was near public transport to the towns and very cheap. The beach and pool were well maintained and the poolside restaurant made delicious food. The room was comfortable and beautiful - shower was small but still worked for us! Included breakfast was also decent..delicious crepes!

O hotel é muito bonito, limpo, tem uma piscina enorme mas só abrem das 10 às 18hs mesmo no verão. Possuem serviço de espreguiçadeira (chegue cedo para reservar). Café da manhã com muita variedade e jantar muito bom.

Só uma questão que deixa a desejar os quartos são muito pequenos, ar condicionado desliga a todo momento que vc sai ou abre a janela e vc tem que ligar na portaria para ligar (isso é bem chato).

Tirando isso nossa estadia foi muito boa, mesmo com as observações eu recomendo esse hotel.

Chambre très propre . Personnel super. Petit déjeuner super choix et surtout de bons petits gâteaux grecs .nous étions à l entrée car l hôtel est immense malheureusement trop de bruit , les gens ne respectent pas les autres et parlent aussi fort que la journée à toute heure. Mais sinon un superbe hôtel avec piscine et plage privée avec matelas .

Hotel bellissimo a due passi dalla sua spiaggia privata!
La piscina è grandissima, e gli ospiti hanno ombelloni e lettini a disposizione sia nella zona piscina che in spiaggia.
La colazione è variegata, nella media.
Per la cena abbiamo provato solo la formula a buffet che nn ci ha soddisfatto molto per cui abbiamo preferito cenare altrove.
Le stanze sono piccole ma giuste ed estremamente pulite.
Il personale delle reception ma anche i ragazzi del servizio spiaggia e piscina sono gentilissimi, disposti a soddisfare ogni richiesta.
Lo consigliamo.
Ci tornereremmo volentieri!
Dobbiamo dire che le fotografie che avevamo visto on line non rendono giustizia alla bellezza dell'hotel.
L'hotel dista una decina di km dall'aeroporto ed una ventina da OIA. Vi consigliamo di prenotare il taxi tramite la reception dell'Hotel che pianificherà alla perfezione i vostri spostamenti.
