Amazing for families and children. If you want some great seaside and beach and mainly tranquility, this is the right place to be.
DIDN’t like that Expedia booked the trip from Hurghada Airport which is 2hours and 30mins away from Marsa Alam so plz beware of this detail (apparently there are no direct flights from U.K. to Marsa Alam).

Food was fine but not excellent (also the buffet it gets very messy at lunch time).

Guys from the SPA and Excursions teams literally busted my ears all day long with their packages so get ready to deal with that whilst trying to enjoy your holidays

Not as relaxing as it looks!

The resort itself is nice, and the rooms are comfortable and clean although our bathroom sink did leak a little but not bad enough to cause any issues. I wouldn't describe it as 5*, but pleasant nonetheless. What was less pleasant is the way that staff members from the spa and beauty centres treat guests. Prowling relentlessly along the beach and pool area like hyenas, looking for their next victims, they will harass you at every opportunity they get. Employing very pushy and aggressive sales techniques, they really do not like taking no for an answer and you will have to spend a decent amount of time each day dealing with them, which quickly gets very tiresome. This made our holiday more stressful than relaxing, and we were afraid to even use the gym facilities in fear of further hassles from them. The beach itself is clean and there are plenty of loungers for everyone, and the reef is incredible for snorkelling. The food wasn't spectacular but better than I was expecting and very varied so there is something for all tastes. Unfortunately, it just doesn't make up for the constant pressure applied to try and strip you of your hard-earned cash at every opportunity.

The hotel overall can't be rated as 5 stars, it could be only 3+ stars hotel.
The bed was not comfortable and the food quality was poor, there was variety of food but without quality.
The marina is too long you have to walk like 10 minutes to arrive to the snorkeling area
The WIFI is chargeable, you have only one hour free and you have to use it on the first day
The pool was nice also the animation team was amazing, they really did amazing shows at night.

This hotel is definitely not 5 stars- it's a good 4 stars at best.I got a good deal for a week stay, all inclusive. The beach was nice, the house reef was great, the pool was nice, the room was OK. What was not good was the food. It was terrible, oily, and basically the same each day. It was more or less tasteless big-batch cooking, and I know it's hotel, but that's not 5 star quality. I also doubt the food cleanliness. I got sick, my husband got sick, our friend got sick, his mom got sick...I don't think it's a coincidence. Also, the hotel front desk people were less than professional. I booked this hotel, which is suppose to be 5 star. There is also the \"Magic Tulip\", which is the same location, but it's the 4 star version next door. They put us in a room in a building that used to belong to the Magic Tulip, so the room was not 5 star quality- not what I booked. Then the second day we were alerted that our room had a leak and they had to move us- this was very shady. There wasn't anything wrong with the room. However, when we got to the new room, we realized that THIS room was the 5 star one that belonged to the Royal Tulip, not the Magic Tulip. When I brought this up with the front desk and asked for a discount, they told me all SORTS of stories and offered me a fruit basket and free internet. Excuse me? It's all inclusive, I don't need more fruit! And at 5 star resorts, internet SHOULD be free. But it's not there, not even in public areas.

Amazing Value A Plus!

This property is,an amazing value. If you book and pay for extra nights in Egyptian Pounds, they will honor a price equal to about $25 or $22 Euros. For full board 3 meals a day, all drinks, ice cream, and an awesome room, I'd suggest the Royal Tulip to anyone as the best place to go in all of Egypt. it's quiet, safe, great food, great location for scuba divers between safari liveaboard or for day trips. Dives are like $25! I can't say enough good about the Royal Tulip. I'm going back next year! Tell them Teodor said you should stay there.

Das Personal ist sehr bemüht und freundlich und immer hilfsbereit. Pools sind sehr gut und schön, kein Chlorgeruch und sauber und gross. Rutschen am Kinderpool sind gut und nicht nur für Kinder geeignet. Eher sind 2 Rutschen nur für Erwachsene und etwas beängstigend 😅.
Zimmer im Haus 26 : gross, renoviert, 2. Stock mit Pool- und ein wenig Meerblick: schön, Teekocherimmer gibt es frische Wasserflaschen, man kann sich Wasser überall auffüllen lassen, muss also kein Wasser kaufen, Minibar ist gefüllt. Den Rotwein kann man nicht empfehlen.
Meer ist herrlich, Kitesurfing sehr empfehlenswert.
Die Läden beim Kinderpool: Verkäufer leider sehr aufdringlich! Unangenehm.
Essen gut und eine grosse Auswahl.
Ich würde und werde vielleicht wiederkommen.

Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen

Ein sehr gutes 4* - Hotel mit ausgezeichneter Küche und super freundlichem Personal. Das Animationsteam gibt sich viel Mühe die Gäste zu unterhalten. Leider ist hier, wie in vielen Hotels, nicht alles All inklusive obwohl so beworben. Aber es hält sich in Grenzen und dafür ist der Grundpreis recht günstig.

Struttura comoda dall’aeroporto, in 15?’inuti di taxi è raggiungibile. Stanze in stile anche se un po’ datate sono comunque tenute bene. Parti comuni e camere con ottima pulizia. Cibo vario e di qualità buona per essere all’estero. Spiaggia ben curata e con un ottimo punto mare, anche se per accedervi bisogna fare un pontile di 700mt. Animazione soft. Personale molto disponibile e gentile.

Ottima posizione, a circa 20 minuti dall'aeroporto e su un tratto di mare dai colori sorprendenti.
Nei dintorni non c'è praticamente niente, tranne Port Ghalib che però è esclusivamente turistica, con relativi prezzi, pertanto è da intendersi quale vacanza di mero relax.

Struttura molto bella. Camera famigliare molto grande con 2 bagni. Tante piscine anche con scivoli. Spiaggia molto comoda senza barriera in riva, ideale per giocare con bambini. Giardini con splendide palme molto curati. Peccato che i giochi e gli scivoli dei bambini siano in molti casi danneggiati e quindi pericolosi soprattutto per i più piccoli.

Struttura già frequentata, mantiene sempre un livello medio alto. Purtroppo quest’anno il cuoco italiano era arrivato solo da una settimana e a fine soggiorno si cominciavano a apprezzare i miglioramenti.
Fuorviante la dicitura Wi-Fi gratis sul sito perché non è così, i gentili addetti alla reception hanno confermato che è a pagamento.

La cosa peggiore è stata il wi fi a pagamento per singolo accesso e che per di piu non funzionava quasi per niente nelle stanze.
La struttura è piuttosto bella e pulita, i buffet abbondantissimi ma di qualità discreta.

Posizione, spiaggia e camera superior vista mare eccellenti. Pulizia in camera ok. Personale nelle sale non all'altezza di una struttura 5 stelle. Pur essendoci un dress code non lo fanno rispettare. Almeno per la cena non si dovrebbe permettere di presentarsi in ciabatte e calzoni corti. Dovrebbero inoltre prestare più attenzione alla pulizia dei tavoli (spesso riallestiti senza togliere le briciole dal tavolo).

Nachdem wir 5! Tage versucht haben das Zimmer zu bekommen, daß wir gebucht hatten (Superior mit Meerblick ),zuerst im falschen Hotel, Magic Tulip, untergebracht wurden, von der Rezeption unfreundlich und respektlos bei jeder Beanstandung behandelt wurden, vom Manager mit einem Lächeln belogen wurden, was die Lage, wie auch die Kategorie des Zimmers anging, können wir dieses Hotel nicht empfehlen. Es ist KEIN 5 Sterne Hotel. Das Hotel ist viel zu groß und wird immer noch erweitert, was zur Folge hat, daß man sich beim Essen, wie in einer Werkskantine vorkommt, die von immer neuen Busladungen von Menschen gefüllt wird. Das Essen ist gut, die Sauberkeit läßt zu wünschen übrig, das Personal gibt sich redliche Mühe. So einen Urlaub möchte ich nicht noch einmal erleben.
Im Übrigen warten wir immer noch auf ihre Antwort auf unsere Beschwerde.

Plus:
Stanza grande e confortevole, con balconcino di discrete dimensioni, letto e cuscini piuttosto comodi, frigo (che però si spegne quando non si è in camera) e aria condizionata funzionante.
Spiaggia molto ben attrezzata, ombrelloni grandi con ampio spazio, lettini in legno con materassino, parasole in vimini per ampliarea zona d'ombra. Il reef, accessibile da un pontile, è spettacolare. Le stanze sono molto pulite.
Staff molto servizievole e disponibile malgrado l'inglese approssimativo.

Minus:
Tentativi reiterati di vendere upgrade sulle numerose cose non incluse nel \"all-inclusive\" (cena, acqua in bottiglia, camera, feste in spiaggia...)
Bagno piccolo e decisamente malconcio (piastrelle rotte, ruggine, perdite di condensa dal soffitto...)
La cucina è terrificante: frequente riproposizione di ciò che è avanzato, scarsa cura nelle preparazioni (es. petto di pollo o pesce serviti palesemente crudi) e un generale eccesso nell'uso di frittura o di creme e salse (probabilmente perché facilitano il recupero degli avanzi del buffet). Inqualificabile.
Le poche cose decenti disponibili (gamberi grigliati, fresca a colazione invece dei succhi chimici iperzuccherati) sono a pagamento.
WiFi a pagamento (sempre con l'all inclusive)
I slaviettoninoer mare/piscina vanno chiesti a un banchetto che spesso fa attendere, e dopo le 5:30 smette di darli. Anche la piscina chiude intorno a quell'ora.
Spettacoli serali tra l'imbarazzante e il grottesco.

Schönes Riff,

Die Hotelanlage ist sehr schön, die Mitarbeiter sehr hilfsbereit, leider gab es beim checkin ein wenig Hektik, ich glaube irgendwie waren Sie gar nich auf uns ( 4 Personen / 2 Pärchen) vorbereitet. Es wurde aber schnell geregelt. Das Essen war sehr gut und schön dekoriert. Für Unterhaltung wurde jeden Abend gesorgt. Das Hausriff ist einfach herrlich. Wir waren zum 2x dort und würden wieder gehen, eventuell schon nächstes Jahr. Ich kann das Royal Tulip Beach Resort nur empfehlen.

Non all'altezza delle aspettative. la pulizia delle stanze lascia un pò a desiderare.
il bar della spiaggia un pò scarso e quello della piscina ancora peggio. mai uno snack.
Orari per colazione e cena troppo riduttivi in quanto noi Italiani facciamo colazione anche più tardi per non parlare della cena che alle 21 era già terminata. nel complesso piacevole.

L'albergo è nuovissimo,pulitissimo,estremamente ordinato,lo staff gentilissimo, il mangiare è vario e presentato in modo eccellente, soprattutto per quel che riguarda il reparto verdure e dolci, il mare stupendo ricco di pesci e di una splendida barriera corallina. la piscina è grande e riscaldata, il mare ha varie sfumature di colore e i coralli multicolori risplendono fantasticamente sotto i raggi del sole che filtrano nell'acqua. .Bellissima vacanza

Mi aspettavo di meglio

Devo ammettere che il primo impatto non è stato il massimo, visto che per quanto mi ricordo i precedenti Resort veniva dato un cocktail di benvenuto ma non è capitato. Successivamente al check in nella Hall ci hanno dato una stanza di transito per due giorni, maleodorante, sporche, senza telecomando TV, aria condizionata che non funzionava e senza kit bollitore (dicevano che la nostra era occupata, quindi avremmo dovuto attendere due giorni) scusandosi per l'accaduto e regalandoci la connessione internet per tutta la settimana (funzionava male è solo in certe aree) Trascorsi i due giorni ci viene data la nostra stanza fronte quasi piscina ma tutto sommato una bella stanza, pulita, profumata e con tutto l'occorrente, peccato che l'abbiamo vissuta solo il primo giorno così, perché se non davi la mancia rimaneva sporca o non curata. La spiaggia molto bella ma purtroppo per tutta la vacanza molto rumorosa per il passaggio di una piccola benna diesel che portava sabbia per lavori su tutta la lunghezza del bagna asciuga. Devo ammettere che per quanto squallido esteticamente potesse essere alla vista il tendone per il cenone di capodanno, hanno creato una struttura meravigliosa al suo interno con tutto l'occorrente e molto scenica. Nell'insieme di un voto sufficiente per il prezzo pagato ma se devo essere sincero con la stessa cifra ho trovato di molto meglio.

ottima struttura, bellissima vacanza

Ottimo hotel, stanze grandi e pulite, il personale parla un italiano comprensibile e non ci sono state molte difficoltà di comunicazione.
La struttura è a due passi da mare e con una comodissima piscina (una è riscaldata). Il cibo è particolare, diverso dal gusto italiano, è adatto alla numerosa clientela tedesca e polacca ma abbiamo comunque mangiato bene e molto.
Nota negativa: il personale della spa è pressante, invadente, maleducato, vogliono vendere i loro servizi a tutti i costi e non smettono di insistere.
L’animazione invece è giovane e dinamica, organizzano numerose attività divertenti, ci sono due bravissimi animatori italiani dedicati alla clientela del nostro paese.
Da visitare assolutamente, il negozio interno di te, olii e spezie, il proprietario è Alex, una splendida persona, amichevole ed esperta che vi guiderà nel suo mondo ricco di sapori e profumi!
Struttura consigliatissima!

Schönes Hotel, nettes Personal, Zimmer komfortabel (wenn auch teilweise sanitär-renovierungsbedürftig!), Essen vom Angebot und Qualität gut.
Leider wurde direkt nebenan gebaut, was Lärm und viel Schmutz/Staub auf den Balkonen bedeutet hat.

Vi var meget tilfredse med vores 14 dages ophold i Royal Tulip Beach Resort. Personalet var imødekommende og servicen i top. Maden i buffet restauranten var udmærket, udvalget var stort til alle 3 måltider og de fleste retter krydret perfekt. Eneste minus var vinen, som var meget ringe. Vinen smagte som om den var fortyndet med vand. Derfor anbefales øl fremfor vin. Vi blev dog lidt trætte af underholdningen efter den første uges ophold. Animations teamet var selvfede og lettere irriterende. Dog så alle børn ud til at have en fest hver dag i selskab med animations teamet.

Hotel ist schon in die Jahre gekommen

Es wurde zwar immer irgendwo was ausgebessert, gestrichen, geschliffen etc. aber
die Zimmer bzw. unser Zimmer war schon sehr abgewohnt und es hat immer nach Fäkalien
gerochen. Essen war auch Durchschnittlich. Schrecklich war auch, das Reservieren der Liegen
am Pool und am Strand. Morgens um 6.00 Uhr hat man schon die Leute gehört, die schnell
ihre Liegen belegt haben und dann wieder auf das Zimmer gegangen sind.

Bel posto, non troppo espansivo ma molto organizzato.
Se si vuole avere compagnia di italiani è l'hotel sbagliato perché ci sono molti tedeschi polacchi cechi, ma pochi italiani!!
Cibo buono anche se dopo una settimana un po' monotono.

Bel mare, tanto vento (a gennaio non è adatto)
Piscina riscaldata molto carina e piacevole con il chiosco in acqua!!

Hotel sul mare con passerella per la barriera.

Abbiamo passato 15 gg delle feste serviti al meglio da tutto lo staff. Camera grande vista mare (sono tutte vista mare), ben arredata (in Egitto non é frequente). Cucina ottima, abbondante e variegata. La SPA non é all'altezza del resto, ma non é malvagia, sempre il personale é ottimo, ma nulla a che vedere con una SPA europea. La nostra valutazione é, assolutamente, positiva, con un, unico, piccolo/grande neo: Internet a pagamento, giá costoso (€25 a settimana, o anche molto piů costoso se giornaliero o a ore) in realtá, é, quasi inutilizzabile, funziona, e non sempre, solo nei luoghi comuni, e solo vicino ai router. Una cosa va sottolineata: abbiamo passato li la notte del Natale e del Capodanno, ci corre l'obbligo di riconoscere, alla proprietá, ai direttori, al personale tutto, un impegno straordinario per le due cene. Giá la cena del Natale, era stata eccellente, non potevamo immaginare cosa hanno, poi, fatto per il 31, ma, non solo per il cibo, per la qualitá, per l'offerta grandiosa, la presentazione, la coreografia stessa del buffet erano ¨hollywoodiane¨, onore al merito.

Il resort è molto bello, curato nei dettagli, le stanze e gli spazi esterni ben organizzati. La spiaggia antistante è sabbiosa, il fondale basso è adatto anche ai bambini. Una lunga passerella (750mt) conduce alla barriera corallina che è semplicemente spettacolare! Il cibo non è dei migliori, ma almeno è vario e abbondante. Il personale è molto petulante, soprattutto con gli italiani che sono una vera rarità in questo villaggio, cercano in tutti i modi di spillare soldi. L'animazione non è insistente ma ben organizzata. Un ringraziamento speciale va ai ragazzi del diving, insieme ai complimenti per la gestione esemplare del centro.
