We recently stayed at Ripplecove Hotel & Spa as a family of three visiting from New York City, and it exceeded our expectations.

From the moment we arrived, the lobby service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The property is stunning, with beautiful lake views and a peaceful atmosphere.

Our room was spacious, stylish, and very comfortable, with an amazing lake view. Everything felt thoughtfully prepared, down to the smallest details.

We especially enjoyed the outdoor areas by the lake—it felt like a private retreat. Canoe and pedal boat activities were fun, and riding electric bikes through nature was a highlight.

Dining and breakfast were also excellent, both in quality and service.

What made this stay special was the perfect balance of luxury and a relaxed, family-friendly feel.

We left refreshed and already thinking about coming back. Highly recommended for couples and families seeking a peaceful getaway. Thank you to the entire team for such an amazing experience.

This resort is situated on agorgeous plot of land, with beatiful waterfront views and a meticulously maintained property. The staff were fantastic, offering courteous, friendly and professional service across the board. 5 stars to the entire staff, including Hugo and Enzo.

Our room in the main building was clean and the bed was draped in the highest quality of linens. It was comfortable and the views were lovely but it felt a touch dated.

Our experience at the bar was exceptional with a well crafted drink and wine list.

Where improvement is needed:
1. For a resort of this price range and reputation, I was highly disappointed with the state of our bathroom. It was in sore need of repair, with nary a hook to be found, a poorly functioning shower and lots of broken trim.

2. Our dining experience was hit and miss. Most of what we ate for breakfast and dinner were delicious and used fine ingredients but there was a significant value deficit in many respects. My wife's dinner one night was entirely substandard for a restaurant of this supposed quality. Also, offering only fixed menu for breakfast at $65 PP is outrageous, no matter what you include. Many people want a simple breakfast and have no option but to splurge on the undervalued fixed menu. There needs to be an a la carte menu as well.

All in all, a very nice, relaxing stay with A+ service. However, even at a prestige inn like this, value still matters and for Ripplecove, it is sadly a weak spot

Beautiful setting on the edge of the lake. The bikes available to loan were a bonus and trails easily accessible.

We stayed in a villa which was fairly well equipped and comfortable. The hot tub was welcoming after a day out in the cold!. Not quite enough seating in the main lounge if the house was fully occupied though. It would also be nice if the furniture in the lounge and bedroom were orientated to take in the view rather than pointed at the hotel and other villas.

The villas don’t have housekeeping during your stay so it would be helpful if there was a Hoover, dustpan and brush and cleaning products and cloths for clearing up properly after meals.

We ate Le Cove and the food was very good and service forelndly. We would have liked to eat in the man restauraing but we were put off by the set menu, we would have eaten there if à la carte menu was available.

Overall we had an enjoyable stay, beautiful setting and would like to visit in different seasons when more activities are available,

Nous avions un condo-terrasse. Nous l’vions choisi parce que la chambre allait être connectée au batiment principal… ce n’est pas le cas. 10 chambres ont des acces exterieurs, comme un motel. La structure est en continue mais pas l’acces… en hiver nous devions mettre nos bottes et manteau pour aller au bar et au restaurant.
Avoir su je n’aurais tout simplement pas réservé a cet en droit. De plus le bar ferme tellement tot!!!

Je suis tres déçue… j’ai passé mes commentaires, je ne les mentionnai pas tous ici, lors du checkout mais j’avais l’impression d’être traitée avec dédain…

J’avais hatr d’y aller mais ce sera ma dernière visite.

We spent one night here to celebrate my wife’s birthday. It was amazing! We ice skated, went snowshoeing and talked to the ice fisherman on the lake. One of the best breakfasts ever!! Definitely try the buffet. You’ll be sorry if you don’t. We will 100% return.

Not a 5 stars hotel. We reserved a basic room (about 400$ plus taxes) There was 3 available; they gave us the worst; just over the reception, view on the asphalt entrance road. it’s was quite noisy. They state the check in is at 4PM, but when we arrived at noon, they said the room would be ready at 2PM. We went for a walk, came back at 2PM; the room was not ready. We waited another hour to get the room. I was appalled the last clerk insisted on the check in policy as an excuse, while other places welcomes you at 2 or 3PM. When we got into the room we were surprised to find the bed cover and pillow to be wet; it took another hour to fix. Nice sized room but many amenities were deficient. The fridge was noisy, none of the wall switches for the lights were working; we had to go to each light and switch ON/OFF manually. The air conditioning was efficient and quiet but the heating was not possible and the next morning the room was quite cold. The washroom was nice but missing a security bar in the shower as the floors were quite slippery when wet. The fan was loud and the mirrors lacked an anti-fog feature. The shaving / makeup mirror was installed way too high to be useful. The shower faucets were cheap plastic missing the gripping knobs; so with wet hands it was difficult to turn them. The Ripplecove is a nice Inn if you can pay for a higher level room. Nice property on the lake, the restaurant is quite good. Their cheaper rooms are too expensive and lacking.

We had a lovely large room with a patio overlooking the lake. While the room and view are gorgeous, you are near the pool and all of the activity on the water so it can be a bit noisy. These larger rooms have refrigerators and ovens so they are nice for families who want to prepare some food in the room. We really enjoyed our stay, but it is important to note that breakfast ends at 10 and lunch is not available until 11:30. There is no food option available in the interim. Additionally it would be great if the hotel would add a coffee bar or light breakfast option for those interested in a quick easy start to the day. I love that they have boats and SUPs available with no wait and no additional charge. Easy to just enjoy a short activity on the lake. Additionally they have a large selection of bikes and helmets for guests to use. Lovely trail nearby! Overall the resort, food and service are wonderful. Better option if you have kids than for a romantic, quiet getaway.

We have visited the resort both in August and now in winter. In the summer, the setting is perfect for lounging by the pool, swimming or boating in the lake and biking on a nearby nature trail. In the winter, the resort is not far from groomed Nordic, skiing trails and other outdoor activities. We enjoyed the resort’s sauna and Jacuzzi both seasons. Our accommodations had fully equipped kitchens and lovely balconies. For a relaxing and peaceful retreat, Ripplecove is a wonderful resort.

We had an incident were my room wasn't cleaned two days in a row which was very disappointing and upsetting. But the service manager made that right by sending a bottle of brut to our room with small chocolates and also paid for one night's stay. That was very nice of him. The staff at the front desk was very accommodating. Food was excellent and drinks were great. Overall I would stay at the Inn again. A few details got missed for a 5 star or a 4 star inn. I would focus on the small things. Like for example, I had to call back to ask for my VIP credit to be applied. They missed that.

Ripplecove is a treasure.

We visited here 5 years ago and had lovey time im the summer. But seeing the pictures of it in the winter made we want to go back then. And I am so glad we did. We met friends there and had a fabulous January weekend. The snow made for a beautiful setting. We could have crosscountry skiied but ended up using the hotel's skates for a little ice skating. The food was very special. We ate one night in the \"fancy\" restaurant and one night at the bar which had a more accesible menu with reasonable prices. Since it was a weekend they only had a full brunch buffet available ($55) which was a lot two mornings in a row. We requested a room in the original inn with a lake view and were upgraded to a room with a balcony and fireplace. The large beautifully decorated room had 2 easy chairs. The staff was very friendly with excellent English. The biggest treat of all came on Saturday night when the hotel provides a carriage ride for it's guests. In the snowy setting it couldn't have been more perfect. We'll be back.
