I am writing to express our appreciation for the truly outstanding experience my family and I recently enjoyed during our stay at San Vicente Resort.

From the moment of our arrival, the check-in process was efficient and welcoming, setting a wonderfully positive tone for our entire visit.

We had the pleasure of dining at the resort for breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day. Beyond the great dining, the opportunity to enjoy the resort's golf facilities further enhanced our trip, offering both relaxation and recreation in a beautiful setting.

What truly set San Vicente Resort apart, was the exemplary service provided by your dedicated team. Every staff member we encountered, from the front desk to the greens, went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. We would particularly like to highlight Victoria, who served us during three of our four evenings. Her incredible personality, attentiveness, and proactive service transformed our dining experiences into memorable occasions. Victoria consistently anticipated our needs, offered thoughtful recommendations, and engaged with us in a way that was both highly professional and genuinely warm.

Although the primary reason for our booking was business, the resort proved to be an ideal family comfort and enjoyment. My husband, daughter, and I were thoroughly impressed with every aspect of our visit, and we are already anticipating the opportunity to return and create more cherished memories at San Vicente Resort.

Staff was extremely nice and friendly. The restaurant was very good - fair prices.
The room was nice - good television - clean bathroom with good water pressure and quick hot water.
Not overly fancy but clean and reasonable at a fair price. Golf course looked nice - nice practice putting green - and useable driving range.
If in the Ramona area I would recommend it.

We had a great stay at San Vicente Golf Resort in Ramona. The atmosphere is beautiful and relaxing, the rooms were clean, spacious, and very comfortable, and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. A special shout-out to the Oak Grill restaurant — the food was amazing, and the service was outstanding. We truly enjoyed every part of our stay and can’t wait to come back!

The room needs to be updated! The tub/shower had wear and tear which should be addressed. Beds were comfortable, but had a stale oder in the room. Lysol worked! Not having stayed there before I would make sure not to get a room looking out on the green/fairway! Had to go down two flights of stairs! The room got hot and I could not figure out the air conditioner and ended up open sliding door in the morning. The staff were excellent, friendly and very helpful. Not knowing the area the I was given excellent directions!

The property is a bit outdated. Golf course is just ok . The pool and jacuzzi is very clean, however the rooms need to be updated . The surrounding area seems safe and very scenic. The restaurant is average and not very big !

I was extremely disappointed in this resort for several reasons: there were 2 flights of stairs I had to carry my luggage up (no help was available), the door on the room had such a wide gap between the door and the door frame that I could hear every sound outside, especially traffic. I mentioned it to the front desk clerk the next morning and she said, “Yes, it’s because it’s an old building and has settled crooked!” No offer to solve the problem or even an offer to a different room The drain around the bathtub was rusted in several spots so I didn’t use it. I assumed a golf resort with home-type rooms would have some kind of laundry facility available but there were no laundry facilities I was told. I was surprised at how curvy the roads were to the resort and would not have booked this resort if I knew what the roads were like. I guess I should have checked but I also had to drive it at night and it was very stressful to me. Also, the air conditioning unit blew STRAIGHT ON ME in the bed. I decided to leave a day early because I was so uncomfortable there with the air conditioning blowing on me and the wide gap in the door frame. Also, if it didn’t have a dead bolt on the door I would have left immediately because of the lack of a secured door. But one night was all I could handle even with the dead bolt. I won’t be back, sorry to say.

Single female traveler put in the basement of the resort. WiFi didn’t work. When I called front desk, I told her there was no WiFi and she argued with me that there was , said there has never been a problem. I asked for a different room so I could feel safe. She said they were full.

Our Room on the north end of lodge is located next to service room which is the location for hot water heater and washer and dryer for rooms was very loud around 5 AM each morning. In addition the plumbing from the service room continually makes a low rumble through out the day. The wall between both service room and ours is not insulated to eliminate noise. everything else including restaurants were great. Parking is limited.

The rooms have been updated, but the overall hotel site needs to be redone to make it better and more comfortable - new chairs and window coverings aren’t enough to fix this hotel. This is more like a 2.5 star hotel, not a 3 or 4 star. My door wasn’t airtight or soundproof, and I was woken up at 8 a.m. to the sounds of a leaf blower, which wasn’t a great start. During my stay I could hear every conversation held in the room above me (as well as their footsteps) and all of the conversations and car sounds outside my room. It’s also annoying that you have to request room service - this feels like another cheap cost-cutting move. The towels are threadbare, but the bed linens were nice and new. This is the best option if you need to stay in Ramona - but it’s not great, especially for the price. I was super annoyed to see that rooms were sold out on their website (we even called to ask and they said they were sold out), but plenty of rooms were available on Expedia (with a huge room cost markup). Feels like they are trying to gouge customers and cut corners however they can.

On a positive note, the staff is outstanding and very friendly.

Great hotel on a golf course and the staff was super kind and accommodating. My only real beef was the leaf blower at 7am for two of the mornings. One literally right by our room. The restaurant was surprisingly amazing! We ended up eating there every night! The food was so good! Beds weren’t super comfy but did the job. It’s dated but it was a great place for kids to spend time with their grandparents and for the price it was an amazing value!

San Vicente God golf resort was recently renovated, clean and quiet. I stayed in the executive suite and it had a high ceiling and had a view to the golf course. The room was very good, but the bathroom shower/tub needs to be updated, yet functional. The staff was friendly and attentive. I wish the facility had a gym, but other than that they have great tennis and pickleball courts and a pool, apart from a beautiful golf course with a view of the mountains around it. I would definitely stay at this resort if I return to San Vicente.

This is the third time we have stayed at the San Vicente Resort. We were pleasantly surprised that it was remodeled. The rooms were very nice and location was close to our destination.
The cons would be that our room overlooked the golf course which we did not have much privacy upon opening the curtain. Also the resort restaurant was closed on Monday and Tuesday during our stay.

I was looking for a quick getaway after a long week at work, saw this place and decided to give it a try. Front desk was amazing and friendly, the bartender as well. Arriving there late is not a good idea as the kitchen closes at 9 and there is literally nothing close by except barona casino.
Worst part:
Pillows are horrible, and the cleaning man came up from 7 am blowing in-front of the room waking us up although it was suppose to be a restful day.
In general, place is okay as a last resort, but definitely not as a main destination.

The hotel is nice and clean. The room is large. I am glad to get a 3th floor, because downstairs can be noisy from golf course maintains and leafblower blower. I like the vew, its pretty over there. The balcony is big plus. We didnt getva dinner there because restaurant was packed. We did have a breakfast and it was delicious.

Bug infestation including bed bugs. Stay away!!

This was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed at, the room was infested with bugs all over the floor, windows, bathrooms .. etc. and the worst part are the bed bugs. We came back smothered in bed bugs bites, I went on the hunt and found them under the towels that we took with us on our trip. I now have to deal with this crap. If you care for your family, I would stay away from this place. Everything was horrible, if I could give it zero stars, I would!

After staying in the San Diego City area the two nights before arriving here, this motel was a dream. It was quiet. I could sleep with the balcony door open and fall asleep to the sounds of nature! The motel had lots to offer, which I did not take advantage of because I was only in the neighborhood for the night. Maybe next time.
