Our check in staff was lovely and our room started off wonderful. It is a beautiful place. The next morning, our breakfast tray (great breakfast) on our room’s table was crawling with ants by 10:30am. I reported the ant concern to the front desk and I was told with a shrug that it is probably from some recent rain. This hotel is supposed to be a luxury hotel. Know it may come with bugs. The laissez-faire attitude was our concern as much as the ants. We weren’t expecting any freebies, just some empathy for the situation.

The room was spotless. The stadff was so friendly. When we checked in for Valentine's Day, there was a complimentary bottle of wine and a note left on the desk in the room. We had access to the beautiful spa next door which had a hot tub, workout room, and lap pool. The attached Italian restaurant had the perfect menu for lunch or dinner and the location was perfect for the activities we had planned for the next two days. This place has become our new favorite place to stay and my wife and I plan on coming back often to enjoy the serenity of the upper Napa Valley!

We must say that our stay was one of the most memorable ones we have to say starting with a wonderful welcome smile by Kevin at the front desk he was very professional polite and skilled in his service.
Breakfast was delivered extremely timely each morning to #6. Our room was clean and my wife was surprised with a bottle of chilled wine honoring her birthday. We most certainly recommend it and do plan on returning.

Southbridge Inn was a beautiful, well cared for, nicely appointed and very clean hotel. The bed was excellent. Even our standard king room was beautiful and spacious. Marcel greeted us when we first entered the hotel. Her service was so very warm, personable, and highly attentive to details. She made a great first impression, and then our whole weekend followed in similarly excellent fashion. This is a wonderful establishment. I highly recommend it.

Dreamy first time visit to Napa area

My mom and I had a wonderful stay at Southbridge to celebrate her 89th birthday. We loved having breakfast in our room with really good in-room coffee! Our wifi was spotty but that just forced us to disconnect and be more in the moment. Loved being to close to walkable downtown St. Helena, and also easy access by car to wineries in the area. Wish I had lit a fire, but Mom didn't want one.

The room was large, and it was perfectly clean. This was a nice hotel. If you have kids, note that the spa pool next door is for adults only.

Very nice hotel. The room is clean and large and comfortable. The front desk staff was super polire and helpful and makes me feel very welcomed. Although the hotel is on the main street, it is pretty quiet. The only minus is that the train runs right next to the property. It is very loud when the train came by, which happened twice in the afternoon. I was in the spa hot tub at the time and it was pretty alarming. Aside from that, the spa is great. One thing to note is that swim lanes needed to be booked in advance. I didn't know so I didn't get to use the pool much.

Southbridge is a hidden gem right in the heart of St. Helena. World class wineries within minutes along with equally exceptional shopping and dining. We found this by accident!

Amazing Stay at Southbridge!

We stayed here for a short overnight getaway and really enjoyed the accommodations. Staff was friendly and helpful, room was large and clean with French doors opening to the outside and a fireplace. My husband and I got massages at the health spa next door and used the steam room and gym. The continental breakfast in bed was a great start to the morning and we walked to Farmstead for dinner. I wish the hotel was set back a little farther from highway 29, but it wouldn't stop me from staying there again. I look forward to our next trip to St. Helena to stay at Southbridge again!!
