Visit Angkor in Style!

Our stay at Sala Lodges was amazing, and we strongly re recommend the professional staff and lovely accommodations that respect and preserve the traditional wooden homes of Cambodia, while also providing all the comforts of a gorgeous pool and luxurious restaurant with Khmer special menu offerings.

Oasis in Siem Reap

This is a lovely, well-maintained, full-service (tuk-tuk and taxi available)
accommodation with beautiful grounds and a beautiful pool. The well-priced restaurant was intimate with beautiful table flowers and delicious food. The reception staff gave very good travel advice.

Unique lodge based on traditional Cambodia house with beautiful landscaping in Cambodian natural environment. Relaxing haven of tranquility 10 min from city center. Excellent breakfast in beautiful setting. All executed with Swiss Pression and hospitality and a service beyond expectations.

We loved our stay at Sala Lodges and wouldn’t hesitate to revisit or recommend the property to friends and family! The property is a unique oasis in Siem Reip with the feel of a most comfortably scaled village of individual Cambodian homes which have been masterfully repurposed to serve discriminating travelers. The staff is phenomenal, the service incredible and the food indescribably delicious. When we left today to start our journey home to LA, it felt like we were saying goodbye to dear members of our family! It was bittersweet to say the least...hugs and smiles and genuine farewells all around. The masterful organization of our tours and wanderings was at all times perfectly conceived and organized. It was difficult to leave. Now in the HK Peninsula on our way home. I would trade our fancy room here for our home in Sala any day.

River cruise, temple tours, Cambodian craft work shops, food market, spa treatments, anti mine presentation...all amazing and unforgettable. Go there, stay awhile and be touched by Cambodian kindness, generosity and easy smiles and hospitality.

Oasis in Siem Reap

This is a beautiful retreat in Siem Reap. Private bungalows are actual old Cambodian homes on stilts that have been transported from nearby villages. Our house was roomy and beautifully accented, with a lovely front porch and full privacy. The staff were very attentive and the restaurant was fabulous. Birds and frogs serenade at dusk. At dawn you can hear the soft music and bells from the nearby temple. It is a 10 or 15 minute walk into town, or a two minute tuk tuk ride. We were very happy to be away from the busy center. Highly recommended!

Fantastic stay

Fantastic boutique hotel with 11 private houses.
Houses are all Khmer style and very confortable.
In the art of Seim Reap but at the same time piecefull and relaxing area.
The service is above excellent as always there but not intrusive.

Great boutique hotel in Siem Reap.
Beautiful traditional Cambodian houses very well restored. A lot of small details make this hotel a very special place.
Being a \"heavy\" traveller, spending more than 200 nights/year in hotels for many years, this is the best staff i've ever seen.
I will definitely go back to Sala Lodges.

Best hotel I've seen in a while

You have to know that you will be in the middle of the jungle, we were looking for that and we loved it. The attention to details in this hotel is extraordinary, inside the room and outside, the staff will assist you at every step.
We have been traveling for 3 weeks in this was by far the best hotel.

if you don`t want to stay in a hotel which could be anywhere in the world ( and you are in cambodia) stay here. understated, perfectly recreating old cambodian architecture, this small hotel also has a hospitable staff.

Amazing design boutique hotel in Siem Reap

We absolutely loved our stay at the beautiful Sala Lodges. 2 adults, 2 children stayed in a 2 Bedroom house. Beautiful design news old world charm but modern at the same time, very comfortable & amazing staff going out of their way to please. Location is great- a little outside of too busy & noisy central. Tuktuks easily available. Wonderful & delicious restaurant with fantastic breakfast and great local dishes for lunch & dinner. Will be back !

Wonderful, Wonderful, Wonderful!

Sala Lodges was absolutely delightful! The grounds are wonderful and the pool is great! The staff was very accommodating. There were so many nice little touches. For example, someone would meet us at the entrance after a day of sightseeing with a cool beverage. two free bottles of water during the day and two at night. This is such a wonderful luxury in the heat! At night, they would turn your beds down with a mosquito net. The cabin was charming and spacious. however, I would advise to find your own transportation into/out of town. We found it for a dollar. If the tuk tuk driver says more just walk away; more times than not they will concede. I would without hesitation recommend Sala Lodges.

beautiful garden and villa

it's located in the area that is very local,but not so far from pub street and market.
The villa has a beautiful sight with some traditional lodges and tropical garden and nice pool.
The room has nice furniture and clean. It's comfortable except for no toothbrush and no airconditioner in the bathroom .
But it's not a big problem.
breakfast and spa are very nice!
When we leave,they gave me a little present that made me very happy.

Awesome child friendly resort. beautiful staff and landscaping. loved the tuk tuks on standby. food yummy. nothing too much trouble. Ps. we also recommend cooks on tuk tuk tour of 60 street where the locals hangout, we sampled crickets, water beetles, stuffed frogs, silkworms, ground spiders all fried in garlic and spring onion, not bad at all, never thought we would eat but once you eat Cambodian food and realize how awesome it is you know they don't compromise on flavor, they know how to make anything delicious! also byo sunscreen, the locals don't use, so expensive $8-$29USD for 50ml.

Traditional Meets Modern

We really enjoyed our 5 night stay at Sala Lodges. The concept of transporting traditional houses from the countryside and refurbishing them adds such a nice unique and local feel. The food was fantastic and the staff extremely friendly. We did enjoy the weekday room service staff a bit more than the weekend since they became familiar with our breakfast order and then we had to try to re-communicate it to the weekend staff which didn't go very well. A suggestion to management would be to work with wait staff and school them in on things like understanding egg orders. They couldn't seem to understand what kind of eggs we wanted so a lot were unfortunately wasted. We enjoyed the lovely pool and spacious rooms and just the overall eco chic vibe of the place. A nice luxe touch would be to add bathrobes and slippers for the guests to use in their rooms, even better if they were made from local materials and available for purchase. We felt very looked after at Sala Lodges and hope to return in the not too distant future.

Oasis of peace

We stayed for four nights at Sala Lodges. Airport pick-up and day trips were arranged absolutely reliably and with the utmost try to match our interests and needs.
Staff is extremely friendly and helpful.
The charming houses are set up like a tiny village with a beautiful garden around. Rather quiet and peaceful, with a frog concert at night. Short and easy ride to downtown, maybe 10 min by tuktuk.
We loved everything about Sala Lodges, food was excellent, much better than the dinner we had in town one night. The kids especially enjoyed the milkshakes.
Breakfast could have some more variety to it, but everything available was very good.
The pool looked small on the pictures in the internet, but is actually of good size. A few more daybeds would have been nice on one of the days; with three families/guest parties at the pool, there were not enough for everyone.
We would definitely recommend Sala Lodges.

Original Concept Hotel

This very original and beautiful hotel was a great comfort at the end of hot days exploring the temple sites. It was so comfortable that we would sometimes choose to come back to the hotel and luxuriate in the pool and services rather than than continue our visits of the sites. The \"rooms\" were all reconstructed and refurbished Cambodian houses recovered from different sites around Cambodia. They were all different and unique and all the clients were happy with where they were. Our family of five had a large building with two adjoining rooms. We always ate at the hotel rather than our usual explorations in a new town. We enjoyed going through the menu over the three nights we were there. We would gladly return and will recommend this to anyone wishing to spend a few days to see Ankhor Wat.

The houses are very rustic and bring u back to olden days. A very different experience.

I find the menu variety pretty limited. Especially the breakfast menu, I was only eating bread by day 3.

While the staff are very helpful, I was surprised that a few of them staff at the restaurant doesn't quite understand nor speak much English.

Sala lodges is a haven from the busy temples. The traditional houses are beautiful and private. Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent food. The gardens are gorgeous and listening to the frogs and geckos at night very soothing! We came to see the temples but Sala lodges made our holiday.

スタッフはとても親切で、フレンドリーでした。
設備もとても綺麗で、清潔。
部屋のミニバーは無料でした。
市内中心部までのアクセスも、ホテルのスタッフに頼めば、トゥクトゥクを手配してくれます。また、だいたいホテルを出た前の道にトゥクトゥクが止まっています。中心部まではトゥクトゥクで5分くらいです。
帰りは夜発でしたが、帰る前にシャワーを借りることもできました。
留意点としては次の二点。
蚊がいます。寝る時に蚊帳はありますが、長袖、長ズボンを持っていくとよいです。また虫除けのスプレーは部屋に常備されていますが、刺された場合のために、虫刺され用の薬があるとよいです。
あとホテルの近くで夜遅くまで音楽が鳴っていました。一応耳栓はあります。

Cadre idyllique idéalement situé à 5mn du centre ville en tuktuk mais suffisamment isolé du tumulte de la ville.
11 maisons typiques Kmer toutes plus jolies les unes que les autres. Chambre et salle de bain spacieuse et superbe decoration. Service irréprochable et petites attentions très appréciées tout au long de la journée.
Grande et charmante piscine, bar et restaurant cosy.

快適過ぎる古民家ステイ

素晴らしいホテルです。築100年の古民家を移築したビラですが、設備は申し分なく、清掃が行き届いていますので快適に過ごせました。スタッフの心温まる接客も好感が持てます。ミニマムなホテルだからこその顔の見える対応がアットホームで連泊していると門を入った瞬間に我が家に帰宅した気分になります。レストランの料理はクメール料理をフレンチのアレンジで頂け、お味も日本人の口にとても合いました。ビラからプールは数歩ですので、躊躇なくプールサイドチェアに横になれます。しかも客室が少ないためプライベートプールと言っても過言ではないほどです。次回もこのホテルを利用する予定です。

Sala Lodge: an oasis in Siem Reap.

The resort is wonderful. Perfect for people who appreciate an individual note. The bungalows charminh,in old Khmer style We could do wonderful tours around Angkor Wat. The staff is very kind and friendly. We could meet the Swiss owner. An impressive personality who also engages in charity in Cambodia.
