Lovely pool usually empty as tours use this hotel

We enjoyed our 11 night stay here very much. The hotel is quite a way from anywhere and the roads difficult to walk along although the village is not far to walk and there is a small bar and lunchtime place to eat with delicious Sicilian food which local people use as a takeaway. Breakfast is ok ...continental and scrambled egg if you get there early. Tours use this hotel and during the day it is very quiet.
We hired a car for 4 days and nearby Etna ..northopaedic side is a must as is Taormina and Syracuse.

Nice hotel but food was an issue

This hotel was clean and we liked it but we found ourselves the only guests amongst two or three coach parties. As a result, when the coach parties were out on their excursions, the pool grill/bar and the restaurant weren't open. In the evening, the restaurant didn't open until 8pm when the coach party dinners were ready. There was no choice of evening meal and we were given the same meal as them.The only saving grace was we were served first. It was a shame as the pool, hotel staff and facilities were good.The rooms were spacious and clean. Perhaps it might have been that it was early October. I would imagine and hope it would be different in the summer months.

Vilket fint och anrikt hotell med en fantastisk service. Den underbara manliga receptionisten va så servieminded och hjälpte oss med allt vi önskade göra. Tyvärr fick vi aldrig höra hans namn. Det var alltid en ny spännande meny varje dag. Servitörerna till frukost, lunch och middag var fantastiska

Zwar weit von Catania, was ein Auto notwenig macht. Ansonsten aber hervorragend - sauber, entspannt, gepflegt, Pool für uns allein, schöne Aussicht. Das täglich wechselnde Menü im Restaurant kann ich nur loben - wir hatten wenige Anlässe, das Hotel zu verlassen. Etwas laut in den Zimmern.

Schönes Hotel mit Blick zu Ätna und Meer

Nominell 4-Sterne Hotel, jedoch eher 3- bis 3plus-Sterne.Sehr sauber sowohl in den öffentlichen Räumlichkeiten als auch den Zimmern. Schöner großer Pool (ca 25 x 8 cm) gut gepflegt mit gut bewässerten Rasen und gesunden Palmen daneben.
Einfach eingerichtetes Zimmer, jedoch sehr hellhörig von der Seite und vom oberen Stockwerk (Stühlerücken auf Bodenplatten, Wassergeräusche, Gespräche in mediterraner Lautstärke sehr gut hörbar.
Einfaches, aber durchaus ausreichendes Frühstück-Büffet, jedoch nicht sehr aufmerksame Kellner (Aufbereitung der Tische). Abendessen möglich.
Mietwagen nötig - Autobahn gut erreichbar, an Viale Cristoforo Colombo mehrere Großmärkte

Séjour agréable : la chambre familiale est grande et la piscine est géniale. Les ados ont apprécié la bonne connections wifi. Seul point négatif : l'insonorisation car on entend les personnes au dessus. Le personnel est serviable et agréable.

Nice view - calm surroundings

We had a room with a fantastic view to the sea and Etna. The breakfast buffet is well assorted - and the coffee was just fantastic :O). The hotel is clean and well taken care of. It is unfortunately not quite easy to walk from the hotel as it is situated at a high way with a lot of traffic, however there is a bus that takes you to Acireale in less than 10 minutes, which was good for us since we travelled without car.
The pool area is very nice and not too crowded, which made it very relaxing to go there. This is a hotel to go, if you want quietness and like to spend your vacation close to a little typical italien town.

Hotel für Busreisen

Das Hotel ist für Individualreisende nicht geeignet und auch nicht vorgesehen. Es waren bis zu 5 Reisebusse voll mit Touristen dort, die früh aufgestanden sind und jede Menge Lärm veranstaltet haben. Danach war das Hotel geradezu gespenstisch leer bis alle zum gemeinsamen Abendessen wieder anrückten. Im Restaurant war man völlig auf diese Bustouristen eingestellt. Zum Frühstück war für uns um 9.00Uhr nicht einmal mehr eingedeckt und vieles bekam man nur noch auf Nachfrage.
Das Restaurant, nach Aussage der Rezeption durchgehend geöffnet und mit Essen A La Carte, öffnete um 20.00 Uhr für die Busreisenden mit einem Menü, aus dem wir dann zwischen 2 Varianten wählen konnten. Eine Speisekarte in irgendeiner Form gab es nicht.
Das Zimmer war sauber aber sehr einfach. Der Kühlschrank der schlecht ausgestatteten Minibar war defekt und produzierte nur Wärme. Die Badezimmertür ließ sich nicht schließen.
Das Hotel war sehr, sehr hellhörig. Man hörte Gespräche und Stühlescharren über mehrere Stockwerke.
Die Poolanlage war sehr ordentlich und gepflegt und völlig leer.
Mit dem Auto ist das Hotel gut erreichbar, da direkt an einer Schnellstraße, entsprechend laut und wenig attraktiv ist die direkte Umgebung. Zu Fuß sollte man das Hotelgelände lieber nicht verlassen. Mit dem Auto ist man schnell in Catania, am Ätna und auch Taormina, Messina und Syrakus sind gut erreichbar.
Das kostenlose WLAN war in unserem Zimmer nicht verfügbar.

Contrariamente a quanto prenotato, la camera aveva una finestra e non balcone. in secondo luogo la stanza aveva quattro letti singoli e non un letto matrimoniale. Colazione non molto variegata per un 4 stelle.

4 stelle di cosa?

Prenotazione effettuata come camera con balcone privato,arriviamo alla reception e ci hanno messo venti minuti a trovarci un buco senza ovviamente balcone e con aria condizionata inesistente... NOTTATA DA INCUBO con due bambini stati dal sudore per tutta la notte!!! Nella media la colazione buona la piscina è la locazione...4 STELLE DI COSA? Furto!!!

Perfecto para relajarse. Zonas de descanso amplias. Destaca la piscina, de 25 metros. Habitación amplia y limpia. Personal amable y servicial. Flojea el desayuno, lo podrían mejorar fácilmente.

Mi aspettavo di meglio.....

Meno male che non abbiamo dato molta importanza alla camera: era un vero disastro, con una finestra che dava su una terrazza non calpestabile, con un arredamento inguardabile ed un bagno da ristrutturare. Sicuramente bisogna detrarre qualche stella......

La struttura e molto bella con un grandissimo posteggio auto, una gran bella piscina, il ristorante non l'abbiamo provato, la colazione buona ed abbondante, il personale poco comunicativo diciamo molto freddo, la stanza per 4 che abbiamo usata noi, è stata accomodata infatti un letto singolo si trovava nel mirino del condizionatore, pertanto non si poteva dormire. Comunque la stanza era pulita, il bagno nel suo insieme buono.

Buon rapporto qualità prezzo

tutto conforme allo standard di categoria tranne l'arredo della camera obsoleto e abbastanza maltenuto e dunque non in linea con un 4 stelle.La camera in sè è invece spaziosa e la presenza di un comodo balconcino la rende ancor più usufruibile.Colazione piuttosto spartana e con poca scelta ma la possibilità di consumarla all'esterno ai margini del bel giardino compensa ampliamente questa carenza. Nel complesso buono il rapporto qualità prezzo considerando il parcheggio interno gratuito e la presenza di una bellissima piscina .

Paesaggio incantevole. Lo definirei però 3 stelle

La posizione dell'hotel è meravigliosa con vista mare ed etna. La piscina stupenda. L'hotel si definisce 4 stelle ma secondo me è un 4 stelle anni 90. Oggi la categoria 4 stelle ha degli standard decisamente superiori. Arredamento delle camere vetusto ed obsoleto. La chiave ancora metallica, mancanza di moquette ma spartane mattonelle. Un po' lontano dal centro serve per forza l'auto. Ideale per chi vuole invece spostarsi in più parti lasciando come centro di riferimento acireale per trascorrere la notte.

L'hotel è molto bello all'esterno ma le camere sono molte vecchie e poco pulite. L'ho anche fatto presente alla reception. La Sicilia é fantastica il soggiorno in hotel un po' meno!!
