The room was ok; no refrigerator; conventional, old-fashioned key.
The biggest issue was Internet access (WLAN). There were no instructions in the room, other than a scan, which does NOT work for laptops (at least not mine)! I had to call; in the end someone brought a paper copy of PASSWORD ETC. to the room.

Very pleasant hotel and friendly helpful staff. The breakfast was quite nice. Esslingen is a jewel if you like an old medieval town that extends beyond belief. We did great hikes in the local vineyards. Thanks.

Right off the main pedestrian area and a short walk to the cathedrals. Great little hotel. Comfy beds, decent room size and clean. Furnishings a little worn but still good. Staff is fantastic friendly and helpful. Close to dining and shopping. I would definitely stay here again

Staff was very friendly the rooms were modern and clean. Good breakfast fast easy check in and out. Close to a park, restaurants, ice cream and fruit market. Didn’t love the bed pillows but that is a small detail. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was in an excellent location and rooms very clean. My husband and myself were both ill during our stay and the staff were very accommodating and helpful.
We weren’t able to enjoy the beautiful surroundings but if we are fortunate enough to return we would definitely stay here.

The hotel and staff did not disappoint! I went just for an overnight stay but enjoyed even this short time. The location is perfect with walking distance to the heart of the city. The room was clean with updated interior.
Checkin/out was super easy and the staff very friendly.
It's a 3x thumbs up from me :)

Nice hotel downtown

Best location downtown Esslingen, very clean, breakfast good. Air Conditioning, a plus. No refrigerator. Cheap parking 4 € on site.

The location is just perfect!

The location was perfect as this hotel is literally in the heart of the city and no far from public transportation, landmarks, restaurants and shops. The room has air condition so hot summer temperatures were not an issue. Breakfast was not included but it was not really needed because there many great places to eat around the hotel.

This hotel is very close to the downtown/shopping area. There is a small park across the street. Everything is withing walking distance.
The bathroom was small but clean and the breakfast was adequate with very good coffee. The beds seemed to have newer mattresses and were comfortable.
We tried to sleep with the window open but the street noise was loud and someone was smoking just below us.
If you have large luggage you will need to carry them up a few stairs into the main lobby.
Overall a good one night stay.

Location was my favorite part about this hotel. In the center of Esslingen, easy walk anywhere. Nearby restaurants are good and stay open late. The staff was very polite and helped me with my German when I asked for words/advice. The beds we're a little hard, and the AC was a little noisy, but I still loved the hotel and will come here again if I get the chance.

Overall very happy with my stay.

Very reasonably priced for such a Great location, very efficient and nice reception service, newly renovated rooms, lots of TV channels in different languages and fast WIFI. The breakfast was a bit boring and unfortunately the sauna and gym were not available. No bar in this hotel.

Business stay was ok

Wifi was out one night and advertised air conditioning but did not work. I asked front desk and they said they could operate from their office but never did. Also phone did not work and asked for extra hangers but never brought them. Breakfast was really very good and location in center of Esslingen and by train station was perfect.

Das Hotel liegt wunderbar zentral und die Innenstadt und derzeit der Weihnachtsmarkt sind in Wenigen Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Der Hoteleigene Parkplatz ist recht klein. Alles in allem sehr gut.

Ich habe eigentlich rundum nur positive Eindrücke in Verbindung mit dieser Unterkunft. Sie liegt sehr zentral. Bahnhof, Parkhäuser, Einkaufszeile usw. liegen alle in unmittelbarer Nähe. Wer die engen Verhältnisse alter schwäbischer Ortschaften mag, wird sich hier wohlfühlen. Das Hotel hat einen eigenen Parkplatz und einen Personenaufzug. Es ist sauber und das Personal ist professionell und schwäbisch zurückhaltend freundlich. Das Frühstück war für meine Bedürfnisse OK.

Für den Besuch des Esslinger Weihnachtsmarktes war das Hotel
am Schelztor hervorragend,da nur hier aus der wunderschöne Markt
zu Fuß in wenigen Minuten erreichbar war.

Hoher Preis für schmutziges Zimmer.

Gleich bei Ankunft musste ich auf dem Schreibtisch die Krümel meines Vorgängers vorfinden.
Die Einrichtung ist modern und intakt. Allerdings ist für diesen Preis Sauberkeit ein Muss!
Außerdem ist die Lärmbelästigung durch die Lage sehr penetrant.
