Good hotel and reasonably priced. In a good location for getting out and about. The room we had was immaculate and there were no issues at all.
The food served int he restaurant was great (we had the chefs special) the rest of the menu was quick and cheerful food. The only things we found to be a bit of a struggle was a lack of amenities open to people in the local area if you needed any small shops or other places to go if not staying in the hotel for dinner. But otherwise it was very good. The staff were fantastic and very nice. So over all 4 stars.

Colleague has a nut allergy, and the kitchen could not offer a single item for dinner, not even a simple rotisserie chicken and chips that was on the menu.

Arriving at breakfast he was told they had nothing they would serve him either.

In my room the air con did not work, and the window was on to the main road so it was quite loud. The bed was actually really comfortable, but the shower was not great. The location next to the airport was very convenient. So quite a mixed review.

2 nights in room 116. Room was Clean & tidy but no hand towels just a bath towel each which where changed after being used, basin is small for face washing, shower temperature control was very difficult to set the water temperature and when set would still fluctuate between to hot and to cold. Room was very cramped very little space between end of the bed and external corner of wall. Cooked Breakfast was okay but for us it lacked prunes and other prepared fruit. The worst thing was the seating, very uncomfortable stools as can be seen in the picture of the dining area. Not sure whether the air conditioning was working in the room, there was no clear instructions about its use of the complex controller. Door to room vibrated at times either from other people opening and closing doors or large vehicles passing the property, not sure which.

Knew we were onto a hiding when black cabby hadn’t heard of it and when he realised which one it was he said, blimey, don’t have many staying here, rooms were tiny. Shower went back n forth between 3rd degree burns and ice bucket challenge. Room was crazy hot, aircon did nothing. At 6am when trains start, whole room rocked as train went past, oh and it’s right in the flight path to London City Airport.

The eggs benny breakfast and morning staff were excellent! I’d say cheap n cheerful but at £220 a room it wasn’t even that - sorry

Very nice hotel. Rooms are small but very clean, comfortable and well equipped. A certain amount of noise from adjacent rail lines but unavoidable and liveable. Did not eat in the hotel because of other commitments but the small restaurant/bar area looked welcoming. Staff were pleasant and helpful.

The check-in was unnecessarily complicated and a card to guarantee the room was required for no obvious reason. The room itself was preposterously small and the regulation of the hot water in the shower was almost impossible. Staff were unhelpful.

I had a very disappointing stay at London City Airport Hotel. Check-in took far longer than it should have, and my room had no hot water in the shower. We raised these issues at checkout, but were told to contact Hotels.com directly.

When Hotels.com followed up with the property, the hotel claimed no complaint had been made. We then contacted the hotel ourselves, but staff refused to provide the name of the receptionist during our stay, refused to let us speak to a manager, and even refused to say when a manager would be available (which tells me everything I need to know).

Overall, the combination of poor service, unresolved issues, and lack of accountability made this a very frustrating experience.

I strongly, strongly recommend avoiding this hotel.

The check-in process was very long. It took nearly 10 minutes when I was in a rush. They were asking for a lot of personal details, which I was not comfortable giving. In comparison, when I checked into a Travelodge, I only had to tell my name. All night, every few minutes, it felt as if something hit the hotel and the whole room shook, possibly a nearby passing train? I could also hear people in the neighbouring room talking. Otherwise, the room was nice and clean. I didn't like that they didn't provide camomile or mint tea. The only option was black.

We recently stayed here, and our check-in experience was disappointing. The front desk attendant was not welcoming, and the process took longer than expected. The entrance door dragged against the carpet, making it difficult to open. In the bathroom, the floor had a noticeable dent, and there appeared to be mold in the shower area. The bedroom also had an unpleasant odor that made it uncomfortable to breathe. Although the hotel is conveniently close to the airport, we will not be staying here again.

The room & bed were small. This was quite a pricey hotel, so I was very surprised to find that breakfast was not included, but would cost £15.99 extra.

The hotel was very convenient for London City Airport, being only a 7 minute walk away.

It was a very last minute booking, so I looked for the cheapest option and didnt read the reviews. So essentially, I would say it was my fault. The staff courteous and the food was good. However, the room was too small, the bathroom & sink was too small, stains were on the sheets and the rooms were so close, that any movement in another room was felt. Furthermore, no toilet paper roll, just pull-out tissue. Of course I was not expecting a 5-star hotel but I believe a hotel in a city like London, should meet certain standards. Nonetheless, I take full responsibility for this experience.

The property was beautiful and well-maintained, and the staff were extremely helpful and attentive throughout our stay. The only downside was the air conditioning, which wasn’t cooling properly. I raised the issue with the staff and, although they tried to fix it and managed to get a bit of improvement, the AC still never worked as it should. Other than that, everything else was lovely, and for the price we paid, it was still a good experience overall.

The staff at reception was very helpful and polite. My room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was spotless and the towels were fresh. It had a towel warmer which i found convenient. The room had tea/coffee facilities. Overall, my experience was pleasant. The most positive factor was that this hotel is a 3 min. walking distance from London City Airport.

The only good thing about this hotel is the staff. They were nice. The room was tiny and cramp and dated. The bed was uncomfortable. The worst thing was the pathetic impression of parking! Only suitable if you ride a moped. I had a big car and it was hugely stressful to park and get back out. I will NEVER come back!!!!!!!!!

Nice and easy walk from train to hotel and from hotel to airport. Hotel offers breakfast at a charge, but we had to leave at 4:30 am so ate later.

A GOOD NIGHT'S STAY AT THIS HOTEL

The hotel was all that we expected and was exceptionally convenient for the airport. The staff were helpful and food was good and reasonably priced. The only slight problem was that when we arrived the room was quite cold; fortunately a member of staff sorted this out for us before long. Overall a good stay.
