A staff member, cleaning person maybe knocked when we were sleeping around 9:45am we had a baby staying with us so we were tired.
The staff member then UNLOCKED our room door and came in while we were laying in bed with little clothing ( sleep wear ) said nothing and walked out.... I told the front desk and he just said they were training new staff .....

The location is convenient for those travelling through. I feel a $250 damage deposit is excessive by any hotel's standards. No Coffee in the am. They were empty, and I could not find any staff. When I checked out, they did go and get me one. The room was clean and modern, but I felt there was not much attention at check-in. Was all about ensuring they had as much money from you as possible. There are gambling machines in the lobby, which I don't find to be an attractive feature for a hotel. Again it felt like a money-making operation, which it has to be but the focus should be on the guest and comfort .

We had a wonderful two day getaway to the Crowne Plaza. We had a room with a view of the city and water, the pool was always just a few people swimming and the Staff were very pleasant. We did find a rotting orange and a couple other items under the beds. (Perhaps a once off), but other than that the room was very clean. A gentle suggestion would be to clean the pool area a little more, as there was hair on the bottom of the pool and some dirt where we sat at the chairs. Is there a plan to make the arcade more often accessible? It was closed when we were there. It was an excellent stay. Thank you for everything.

Room had dirty looking sheets but that was not the issue. There was a major safety issue that occured and I was not able to communicate with front desk or security. I was left feeling extremely anxious of what I was not able to relay dontona language barrier. I was all but ignored when I mentioned it to the front desk yet again in the morning. If you enjoy a peaceful night in a hotel feeling safe DO NOT GO HERE

The “require a major CC is knd o DD ridiculous, the gentlemen that checked me in did make an exception and was able to pay cash deposit of $300 but I was not advised that 26 dollars from that, was for pet fees until check out time. Especially being a hypoallergenic poodle at 6 lbs, especially when I stayed for well over a year at Fredericton hotel in 2023, for over 50k. No upgrades offerings even if only, 18 rooms occupied last night January 5th 2026
Also need to work on your ihg rewards program.

Staff was nice and tried to help but the room was cold when we entered like really cold and we tried to put the heat on and the heater was broke. Tried to turn the bathtub on and the water was brown. Then waited for about 20 to 30 minutes for the attendant to come upstairs to check then they switched us rooms. That room wasn’t too bad but the room never really got super warm either was expecting a little bit more for the crown Plaza.

The room had a chair with a huge gross looking stain on it. The pool which is why we booked this hotel was closed do 24hours for the second time we’ve stayed here. The restaurant on site didn’t have two of the dishes we wanted or a drink my husband ordered. Our room shower drain was so clogged when I took a Shower it flooded our bathroom. We had to use all the room towels to clean it up and have no clean towels for our shower the next day as we only stayed on night. The staff them selves were exceptionally nice and kind but offered us nothing in way of accommodation. Also as a family I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to other families it is not fun for small children seeing as this was our second stab with no pool. A dirty room and clogged shower still cost us full price.

From the moment we walked in the front door, we were thrilled with our stay. The gentleman at the front desk during check-in was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The lobby was clean. Our sixth floor room was immaculate. The only thing we weren't struck on was the dated jacuzzi tub in the room. While it was not in working order, we know how difficult the jets can be to clean properly (we used to own the exact same tub).That being said, it was our only \"complaint\". Every staff member we encountered was friendly and warm. Even the elevator and corridors smelled and appeared clean.
The restaurant downstairs served delicious, reasonably priced food. Don't be fooled by the \"fancy\" appearance; the restaurant was welcoming and accessible.
The front desk clerk happily helped us secure transportation to a nearby venue for a concert.
Check-out the next morning was smooth and pleasant. We enjoyed a king sized room and found the price to be overly affordable.

Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to return again if we were back in Saint John for an event at TD Station.

I would not recommend this hotel. It has been refurbished and was done very poorly- lots of obvious quick fixes everywhere (paint peeling on doors and doorframes, tiles quickly slapped together that dont quite join up, curtain rods installed crooked, the list goes on and on). Window in our room was dirty and one part permanently fogged up so you couldnt see out. Elevator floor was dirty and sticky. We paid extra for breakfast in the hotel it and it was terrible- quality of food was simply awful, dry muffins, cold eggs, watered down juice- we left our table quickly after sitting down it was not eatable. Unfortunate hotel experience, but the staff were ok- however the facility and services offered were a real disappointment.

I had an unpleasant experience in the pool area. About 5 minutes into the pool area about 30 children entered with parents. I would have planned around it if there was a sign or notice on the door. Also, the pool should be adult only after 7pm.

Upgraded to a Harbour View room, which unfortunately looked out over the container port and where large cruise ships docked! The room was very cramped, did not have the advertised sofa, only 1 chair for sitting, and a round table that took over the remaining space.
Service in the restaurant was poor, and staff did not understand what was on the menu. At both dinner and breakfast service stopped well before closing time with no coffee available after dinner and food cleared from the breakfast buffet well before time.
To be fair, after I complained, the manager did reduce the room rate and cancelled the cost of dinner.

We were in the area very last minute and everything was booked / sold out. I got “lucky” or so I thought bc I found a room on Expedia for this hotel. We arrived at the front desk and were greeted by Ishan. Ishan informed us that Expedia had over booked them and they were completely sold out no rooms to be had. At this point I’m tired and stressed but I needn’t have worried because Ishan was on duty. I don’t know what or how he did it but he made a room miraculously appear out of thin air and got us situated in a room within 20 minutes. He was literally a magician! Once up in the room he called to check on us. But most hotel employees would have said we’re sold out to bad so sad good luck finding another place. But Ishan did some rearranging and fixed the situation and I will be forever grateful! The level of service he provided far exceeded most employees (at other brands hotels) that we encounter on our travels. Ishan Is destined for upper management and certainly deserves a pay increase the level of care and service he provided makes IHG stand out and I’ll be excited to book with your company again! Thank you IHG and thank you Ishan for not leaving us out in the cold and for taking great care of us. I’m in awe of your exceptional service!
