the check-in process was easy and the room was clean on arrival. staff was helpful with restocking towels upon request. breakfast was okay. my family enjoyed the pool, but i didn’t go to it so i can’t speak on that.

on the second day of our stay we came back to the hotel in the late afternoon to the hallway carpet being removed. the next afternoon we came back to our room around the same time and they had the glue down so they could lay the new carpet, so we had to jump into our room and open the door for the worker to finish securing the carpet in front of our room. i didn’t really mind since it wasn’t being done while i was sleeping, but if someone was trying to sleep during the day it would be disruptive. and we hadn’t been informed about this when checking in or in general. the property should’ve at least made an effort to inform guests on the effected floor about the work being done.

other than that our stay was okay.

Super disappointing experience. The hotel was ripping out the carpets and failed to let us know ahead of time. The receptionist said that we would be compensated and then on checkout the receptionist said that because we booked on Expedia, there was no accountability to notify us of this ahead of time (really would have been the ethical thing to do) or give us any sort of compensation. My son has asthma, so extra not cool with pulling up a presumably 20+ year old carpet and also off gassing carpet glue. We weren’t expecting a 5 star hotel, but it all felt super upsetting and unsafe.

We were a large group of 7 and booked the multi room family unit. There was lots of space for everyone and we didn’t feel crowded. The kids and adults enjoyed the waterslide. We enjoyed the hot breakfast in the morning. It filled us up before our day out in Drumheller.

We travelled to Drumheller with our family with small children. Overall we had a good experience. There were ants in the room, and ant traps were accessible to my children before I realized they were in the room. Otherwise, everything was great.

Staff were friendly. Room was clean but dated. This hotel had a cute waterslide which my grandson enjoyed. The towels they supplied were REALLY SMALL. I would suggest bringing one from your room. The breakfast was a bit mediocre, but was included, and filled the gap. The hot tub, which we were all looking forward to, was not working properly, so was lukewarm, at best. It was close to a lot of restaurants within walking distance, and the attractions were all a short drive.

Was battle royale for breakfast in the mornings due to the small seating room it was served in. They do have another room on the opposite end of the hall for additional seating, but packing food/drinks with kids through the sea of people and down the hallway was not ideal. Would be nice to have more options as well for the breakfast, was quite limited. Staff was very friendly and helpful about things to do in the area other than the obvious.

Room was very clean. Staff was welcoming. The pool was the highlight with the slide, my kids enjoyed it. After a long time got a hot tub that was clean, had a relaxing stay.

Breakfast could have been better by adding some potato wedges or fries. But otherwise the breakfast too was good.

We found our stay to be especially enjoyable. We rented a suite for three nights. The room was clean and well stocked. The pool was functional and everything worked. Some parts of the hotel reflect its age, but nothing disrupted us in any way. The staff were what made the stay particularly enjoyable. Everyone was so kind and so helpful. We would absolutely stay here again.

From the check in through out our one night stay, the service was top notch! The fellow at the front desk was a one man show (we stayed Dec 23 and most of his staff were all given the holidays off). He was so friendly and the room was clean and warm. The pool, hot tub and waterslide were a bonus after a long day of travelling. The only slight issue was the beds were a little older but still a good sleep nonetheless. Complimentary breakfast was not just a muffin and a juice. We had bacon, eggs, sausage, pancakes and plenty of other options, including gluten free.

We would definitely stay here again.

Appreciated the upgrade to the Honeymoon suite 😀. Pleasant staff. Breakfast food items needed to be refilled at 8am. Temperature of the room was perfect. Cleaning was not thorough as a Remembrance Day poppy from a previous guest was behind the leg of the bed. Other than that the room appeared clean. Enjoyed the comfortable seating, in-room hot tub and fireplace very much.

The hot tub was an \"Air Bubble Tub\", not a jetted jucuzzi tub. We has an We were very disappointed with it and didn't bother using it. We had an \"Air Bubble Tub\" a few years ago. It puts cold air bubbles into the water and makes the tub go cold in minutes.

The staff were nice and breakfast was good and warm. The pool need to be cleaned and need towel cause there was none. I say this because we were giving a hard time from staff for bringing the ones from the room but there was no towels at the pool. The room smelled of cigarettes and was out dated. When I asked about restaurants the didn’t give good advice. For the high price we payed you would think it would have been better.
