Positive:
10/10 for excellent location. Less than 15 mins walk to Kaleici, tram stop opposite hotel, 15 mins walk to pontoon for swimming.
All rooms have balcony with lovely sea views.
Reception staff did their best to be helpful

So why did only 2 stars?
Negative:
Food - Dinners were truly awful. Almost inedible. Cheapest scraps of meat. It appeared leftover food would reappear 2 days after originally served. The same melon was served 4 nights in a row and then no dessert at all for next 3 nights.
No butter at breakfast for 4 mornings (despite a shop within 30 metres of hotel)
Room - the room safe wasn't repaired for first 4 days. My bed wasnt made on 3/4occasions. When I asked for balcony light to be repaired i was told all balcony lights on my floor did not work. A double room which had only 4 coathangers in the wardrobe. TV remote didn't work, teabags not replaced etc etc
In General: it is not welcoming for guests to enter a 4^ hotel and be met by an airport-style metal detector - I understand this is to deter guests from buying in water, beer, food etc.

So my recommendation is that this hotel would be fine for a short stay on a B&B only basis but bear in mind the hotel's many short-comings and don't expect the usual 4* standards

The room was clean, the tv was a 70's style, no mini bar in room as stated, a good sea view if you had a room at a higher level, no hotel or pool bar open, had to buy bottle drinks from hotel shop at very high price, a bottle of local wine from a supermarket was around £8, and the same bottle from the hotel shop was £23, the hotel didn't allow as bring food or drinks from outside shops, 1 morning we went for breakfast as normal only to discover that there wasn't much food or cups and plates left,This hotelmust have bribed someone for the extra stars, my option this hotel falls well below 2 stars.

Do not book!!! Dirty rooms - gave a motel vibe. breakfast was horrible had to leave and eat out. We had a loud couple trying to get into our room at 2am and when called the reception which took 10 minutes to answer was told everything is fine and to go back to sleep with no explanation. Next morning when I felt safer I went down to complain and was told it was by accident they were the cleaners and made an error. No food or snacks or even a water bottle is allowed into the hotel forcing you to buy whatever things they have which is minimal. All in all the worst stay I’ve ever had in my entire life.

It’s not a 4 star hotel. It has an amazing view, but the rooms are smelling of cigarettes and the facilities are not very clean. You are not allowed to take any food, drinks or beverages in to your room!!! You are only allowed to buy these products from the hotel shop which is extremely expensive and limited.

we went bed and breakfast and you were not allowed to bring food and drink from outside. baring in mind we have 3 young children one of whom has special needs and a specific diet. i am also heavily pregnant and drank gallons of water. prices in the hotel market were exceptionally more than the shop over the road. Also the shop inside the hotel isn’t always open but still they said we couldn’t bring anything in the sweltering temperatures it was unacceptable. Room wasn’t cleaned in the 2 nights we stayed no toilet roll replacement or anything. Pool including children’s couldn’t be accessed till 10 which is a bit of a nightmare when you have young kids eager to get in

Unlike all the negative reviews, I absolutely loved this hotel.
First, the sea view is amazing. Second, the staff are friendly, and the rooms are always clean.
They offer a small selection for breakfast, but considering the price, it’s quite good.
The location is fantastic — it’s close to everything, with a maximum of 15 minutes’ walk to places like Kaleiçi and Karaalioğlu Park.

The hotel personnel don't speak well English and their knowledge about places to visit was very poor. One of the elevator didn't work at all and the swimming pool was closed. The bed were very out of dimensions. The food was very bad specially the breakfast. The pictures shows that the beach is very near which is false.

Lovely view, nice pool area and nice when you first walk in. I was ok with old fashioned basic room but old appliances that barely worked. No cups in room that were very needed due to having dental work in antalya so couldn’t make soup. Staff were asked for cups but they disnt understand. Rooms need updating with decor and appliances. Shame cos such a lovely location

This in reality is a 2 star hotel, rather than the 4 star as they advert themselves. Rooms are very small, bathrooms tiny with a poor quality of amenities provided. Breakfast and dinner were almost inedible and drinks were diluted juices or water. The only good perk is that hitel is close to city center (walkable distance)

Wifi was a nightmare there was 2 different wifi for the lobby and rooms and had to connect each time whenever I would go to the room & lobby. When arriving in the room there was 2 water bottles we asked we need more they said this is a gift from us for the first day & you have to purchase it yourself from the hotel shop. Also while sitting in the lobby they turn the AC off. Also there is no AC in the lift. They have no staff and the spa is closed they can't speak english. The view is the only good thing about it. Very bad experience I wouldn't recommend to anyone.

The front desk and breakfast area staff were very friendly, except the manager. He is an old guy with a beard, you won't miss it, he is everywhere and trying to run the hotel with the minimum cost. I traveled to many cities, this time in Turkey, but this place was the only place with cheap quality breakfast. Their Watermelon was so bad and old, and flies were everywhere. They didn't do anything about it. The bathroom downstairs was so old and dirty, and the place outside looks good, but it hasn't been renovated for a long time.

Be prepared to pay for the trap (drinks) when you check out of the hotel.
2. Wi-Fi is limited to one device.
Works either your phone or computer.
3. The sea is near the hotel, but it's impossible to swim because of the very high rocky shore.
To the nearest beach is 6 kilometres.

This is supposed to be a 4 stars hotel, but its far from it, below is a short list of some of the issues you will face:

1- Staff is not professional, they don’t even wear a uniform, you can’t tell if someone walking down a corridor is staff or not.
2- Staff English capabilities are close to none, I asked one of the staff if I should turn left or right to reach the elevators, his answer was “no problem”, it’s difficult to communicate there
3- Breakfast is lacking, for example there is no coffee wether it’s American or Turkish coffee, there coffee machines are filled with Nescafe powder, wether you press the black coffee button or the Espresso button you will get only bad tasting Nescafe, when I asked the receptionist he said that the hotel owner locked the coffee cabinet to cut cost!!! That’s weird thing to do when your hotel is fully booked!
4- Elevator cant take more than 4 people, if two of them are fat, 3 people is the maximum capacity, elevator lights will turn off and screen will shut down once weight is exceeded!
5- They turn off air conditioning in almost all corridors and many parts of public spaces, expect to sweat if you spend extra time on your breakfast
6- Internet service there is bad, its hard to connect and when you connect expect to lose connection at any moment, sometimes you get connected but there is no internet, when I call the front desk for assistance they say they will reset the server which doesn’t seem to have impact on the situation

Excellent sea view from balcony.
Breakfast was horrid daily. Noises from adjoining rooms and higher floor was disturbing.When checked in bathroom smelled of piss and room floor was dirty. Obviously housekeeping only hurriedly changed sheets and refilled amenities. Informed reception but nothing done. Gym and sauna were out of commission. I will not stay in this hotel in future.

Some bit of shampoo residuals left on the bathroom. Overall, it was super clean. No slippers were provided.

I did not connect to the wifi as it require usename and pw. They didn’t give me it when I arrived, so I coudn’t be asked.

The hotel only have 2 small lifts for 10 floors, it can take 5 minutes for it to arrive.

The breakfast buffet wasnt great.

Most overrated hotel i have come across, i arrived on time for check in had to wait extra to only get a room with partial sea view as others weren't ready

Sauna and spa out of service with no prior message saying this was the case

Hotel is old inside and its clear from reviews (which i wished i read before booking) owner just looking to get cash out of this old place

Best part comes at breakfast (thanks god i didn't pay extra for dinner)

They have someone on the open buffet who goes around with you and fills your plate, and im sure the true intent isnt corona precaution
Really awkward experience and a fulfilling start to your morning!

Real waste of time i've been to better places not far away that charge half the price and offer better service , i feel bad for someone who booked a longer stay here for their holiday

We stayed 4 nights as family trip from UK to turkey last week and the main reason I booked this hotel was its city centre location and assuming a real 4 star. We booked 3 rooms with all inclusive, However we were disappointed by their service at all.
Their staff has no training how to deal with guests and what customer expect from them.
For example when I asked for bottle of water in evening, the reception’s answer was:” I only deal the reception and room service guy is not here” , “ you should wait couple of hours and the guy will deliver water”. Do you expect such answer from a 4 start hotel? No way. It was just one example of their attitude. We enjoyed lovely breakfast at some other hotel in Lara area but Cander’s breakfast as well as dinner and their service was just like “ you are here as a prisoner and you have to eat whatever is available other wise if you mention any thing they will leash you up”. The restaurant manager having a nice omelette next to my table but a cold boiled egg, a dry Hard piece of bread Was available for guests. Rather his rude answer on my query was” For guests we don’t do omelette as it takes long time” by the way that day we were just few guests at hotel. A part from from their high rates , we didn’t bring anything called comfort. I would recommend not to book this hotel and please pay less and have nice service at somewhere else but not Cender.

This hotel was so awful, awful and rude staff, breakfast very basic, for dinner it’s microwaved food, rooms are old, they also make you pay for water! Travelled with a person in a wheelchair and he couldn’t even enter the toilet, hotel description deceiving and staff don’t even want to help, the only ok thing was location. Amazing view from room but BAD customer service

So the hotel location is not bad however the customer service was probably one of the worst Ive ever had. The lady at reception called Mikalar was incredibly rude and tried to charge me a premium for asking for room service as I was quite close to my check out time.

I spoke with the manager who apologised for her misunderstanding and said it was maybe because 'she had a busy day.'

There was someone in reception thankfully who was much better at handling any customer queries.

The view from the room is immense and facilities average, the spa they had was dated and again the person working there kept following me around and was seemingly very suspicious of me??

Overall it was definitely more like \"2/3* standard\" than 4 star, (don't let the pictures deceive you!)

The time I spend in this hotel are so miserable. Start from room service the refrigerator not working and replace it after 2 days and shouting with reception and romm service. The breakfast is disgusting I drink tea only. Also not allow to bring food from outside and the hotel restaurant close at 9PM. the room is not much clean. I don't want to see this hotel again.

The staff don't speak English. When you ask for something they don't understand. At breakfast time the food are always the same.
Sometime no orange juice.i was sitting next to the coffee table when I heard a guest asking for orange juice the staff said there is no orange juice. I paid lot of money to stay at the hotel with my family you tell me no orange juice. It s a joke. It's like a dead hotel. No management with hotel knowledge to run the place. My next stay in Antalia is Acra hotel. Thank you.

A Trip to Paradise

I was very happy , as I checked into the Hotel with my mobility scooter they had reserved a room catered to my needs. The balcony over looked the most breath taking view of the Sea. The pool area was also over looked from my balcony. The pool was maintained with high standards which I was impressed with. I hosted local friends for an afternoon at the pool and a table was reserved the bar staff offered great service. The life guard assisted myself entering the pool. I loved the location of the hotel for visiting parks and Old Town .

The hotel was close to the city center and the price was comparatively reasonable. However, for our family room of four adults (a couple with two university students) there is only one bathroom. The beds contain one sheet, not on the bed (you have to put it on). We were given ONE KEY to the room for the entire family. This made it very difficult on us. The breakfast meal is a typical Turkish breakfast, but with the ability to have an omelette cooked for your fresh. The uneaten food of the Turkish breakfasts, i.e. the olives, sliced meat, cheese, tomato's, cucumbers, etc. appeared to be put out for all three breakfasts we attended. We would not recommend this hotel.

I booked this hotel for my parents since their flight got delayed and since this hotel advertises itself as having 24/7 front desk reception, my parents arrived at 7 AM the next day of the booking and the staff didn’t honor the Online booking and my parents were left on the street for hours, they didn’t refund Our money even though they didn’t even check my parents in!!!

First of all I have to say that I have never wrote a review before even though I traveled a lot of places in many different countries. But this place made me think how important it is to safe other travellers to go to a wrong place.
I booked this hotel via ebookers app two hours earlier then my arrival. When I got the hotel they couldn't find my booking details in their system even though I received all my confirmation emails. Receptionist asked me to email the confirmation emails to them and I did so and they just printed it and they did nothing rather then made us keep waiting in very hot reception area ( Antalya is one of the hottest and most humid city in the south of turkey where it is impossible to survive without air-con). I wasted one hour at the reception for no result and they asked us we can come back to hotel in one hour time as I told them we have booked appointments for the evenings. I left my phone number telling them to call me when their lousy system confirms my stay. They phoned me 45 min later with no apologies at all. We went back and got to the room and the room was really dirty where we found cigarette ashes everywhere . Air con wasn't working. Their minibar was a rip off. etc. Long story short , no hotel can do better to upset their guest then this one.
Don't go there they don't deserve a panny and spend your time and money somewhere else in this beautiful city.

Bence iyi.. 3 bin TL’ye ne tür bir beklentiniz var anlamıyorum. Konumu o kadar para eder. Çalışanlar gayet saygılı ve kibardı. Temizlik konusunda da bir Skntı yaşamadım. Doğrusu biz erkekler ahırda da kalsak temiz deriz.

Read this first!!

The food is terrible, you will have to go buy breakfast because it's non edible. Warnings should be signed before buying.

From outside it looks good but inside is like going back to the 70s.

You cannot bring a friend to the hotel. I was planning on inviting 2 friends but it was not possible. Just for visit and stay by the pool.

You cannot bring anything edible to your room. It has to be kept outside in the heat with the guard.

Es ist irgendwo akzeptabel aber nichts besonderes. Schlecht war das der Pool nur bis 18 uhr zugänglich war, was natürlich ärgerlich ist wenn man erst abends wieder zurück im Hotel ist. Frühstück hab ich nur einmal von 4 Übernachtungen wahrgenommen,das war auch eher akzeptabel.das was das Hotel auszeichnet ist die gute Zentrale Lage, die Strände dort in der Nähe sind eher gut zum sonnen aber zum baden finde ich die felsvorsprünge eher ungeeignet! Im grossen und ganzen kann man machen aber verbessern kann man sich immer !

Einschränkung von ausserhalb für Essen,Getränke finden wir nicht angemessen,weil das für so ein großes Hotel nicht akzeptabel sein kann

otel konum olarak çok iyi olsada otel çok eski çalışanları güler yüzlü değil otel herşey dahil olmamasına rağmen yiyecek içecek getirmek yasak gibi bir tepki ile karşılaştık oda da su ısıtıcı var ama kahve veya çay yok ayrıca kalitesiz kağıt bardak var memnun kalmadık bir daha tercih etmeyiz önermeyizde

Bir daha tercih etmem.

Odadaki tuvalet sürekli çok kötü kokuyordu. Tuvaletin kapısını asla açık bırakamadık. Tuvaleti kullanırken nefesimizi tutmak zorunda kaldık. 2 ayrı yatak istediğimiz için başka oda olmadığını söyledikleri için oda değişim talebinde de bulunamadık. Kahvaltı çok zayıftı. Otel çalışanları güler yüzlü ve yardımseverdi. Otelin ciddi bakıma ihtiyacı var. Tavsiye etmiyorum.

3 kisilik odasinda konakladik. Oda genis ve ferah. temizlik konusu biraz daha gelistirilebilir. Otelin tum odalarinin manzarasi harika ancak otel eski ve bakimsiz. Callcenterda calisan arkadaslar bu isletmede devam ettikce zarar etmeye mahkum bir isletme.

Çok kötü bir deneyimdi...

Manzara dışında bir beklentiniz olmasın, yan odalarla o kadar yakın ki balkonda da rahat oturamazsınız. 2 gün kaldık 2. Gün kahvaltıya inmedik. Kahvaltıyı hiç vermeseler otel için daha iyi olacaktır. Odalar çok eski olduğundan herşey çok eski ve kirli, hijyen takıntınız varsa sakın gitmeyin. Karton bardak verildiğini de ilk defa burada gördüm. Yiyecek içecek getirmeyin diye bir mottoları var ama içeride bir şey yemek bu hijyen şartlarında pek mümkün görünmüyor. Odaların balkonu o kadar yakın ki çok rahat yan balkona geçilebilir. Aralarda korkuluk olması güvenlik adına şart gibi.

Hayal kırıklığı bir tatil

Dünya da sayılı turizm kenti olan Antalya nın en güzel konumundaki 4 yıldızlı bir otelde tamamen hayal kırıklığına uğradım. Tamam belki sezon olmadığı için olabilir fakat bari otel hizmete kapalıdır deyip reklamını yapmayın hiç değilse, kahvaltı tabağı berbat, akşam yemeği berbat otel boş yani bu durum karşısında bişey diyemiyorum. Bir tek personel güler yüzlüydü diyebilirim.

A parte la bella vista sul mare niente di positivo

Questo Hotel non ha i assolutamente requisiti minimi per meritare assolutamente 4 stelle ma nemmeno 1 stella. All'arrivo nessun facchino: ci siamo portati le valige da soli in camera; l'albergo e la camera in genere erano molto sporchi, la colazione e la cena molto carenti e con cibo avariato (per esempio le uova sode erano nere dentro, il pane secco, il succo d'arancia era acqua colorata: per cui disgustati abbiamo dovuto mangiare fuori); nessun servizio di housekeeping (la camera non era fatta, vi erano delle lenzuola appoggiate sui letti da fare da soli, la carta igienica e i cuscini non sono stati forniti e dopo tanti solleciti ci hanno detto di aspettare il giorno dopo...!); il Wifi non era funzionante nella camera, vi era un odore insopportabile di marcio in tutto l'hotel e nauseabondo a causa del caldo e quindi è stato impossibile di dormire. Dopo due notti così siamo dovuti scappare in altro hotel con i servizi di un vero 4 stelle.
