What a great find!
Just outside Capital Reef NP is this delightful place where you have a variety of choices: t-pee, covered wagon, small cabins or regular motel rooms.
They turn on the propane fire pits where you sit in adirondack chairs and visit with other friendly people.
They have a fantastic restaurant on site.
The staff is very friendly.
They offer horseback rides and hikes with llamas!
What a fun, fun place!!

Was horrible - we were in a king suite
The tub was rusted, not clean
The kitchenette had old hard ketchup on the counter, and fridge was dirty
The chairs were heavily stained and the bottom was ripped out.
The wall paper was stapled to the walls where it was peeling! The room was dark and the bedding, wallpaper etc. were stained. It was scary to sleep there.
The front desk was nice.

I enjoyed my stay overall. The hotel provides high-quality hair and shower products that smell amazing, and I especially appreciated that they come in individual bottles rather than large shared dispensers.

The bedding was a highlight—both the blanket and the bed were extremely comfortable and far exceeded my expectations. The towels were also soft and plush, which made the stay even more pleasant.

Another big plus is the convenience of parking. You can park right outside your room, making it very easy to load and unload luggage.

That said, the room itself feels quite outdated. The carpet and wallpaper in particular could use some updating.

Service at the front desk was a bit underwhelming. The staff member seemed low on energy and somewhat rushed, which made the check-in experience feel less welcoming.

Excellent staff, they went above and beyond. I unfortunately experienced a flat tire and my son got a nose bleed while I was checking in. The front desk staff immediately helped providing tissues and calming my son letting him know it’s was ok and it happens all the time. She was absolutely wonderful. When I parked and got to my room I realized I had a fast leak in my tire. The front desk provided me with a list of local mechanics to help get the tire repaired and me back on the road the next morning.

Restaurant on site was fantastic!

Only thing to note is there are no elevator on property so if you face a disabilities make sure you book a handicap accessible room in advance. This may be included in the details on the hotel wasn’t aware until check in.

I usually do not choose places where each room has a door, but it was so nice to walk out to see the sunrise and to watch the stars at night. The views from the room are gorgeous .The room was very clean. The gym was super nice. And the property was really fun, I hung out in the rocking chairs by the llamas for awhile.

We shared a 2 bedroom cabin w our friends when we visited Capital Reef. The cabin was awesome - cozy and well-equipped. We loved relaxing on the deck in the Adirondack chairs after hiking w a view of the red cliffs. There was a grill but given it was windy and cool when we stayed in mid April, we didn’t get to use it. The property had a pool, hot tub and restaurant where we ate breakfast. It was very close to the Park entrance. Overall a great place to stay!

The room was clean, but the layout is poorly designed. The rooms are located far from the parking area, making it very difficult for guests with disabilities to access them. There are no designated disability parking spots that provide an easy path to the rooms, which is a significant accessibility issue.
Additionally, the Wi-Fi did not reach our room at all. Management claimed there were too many active users, but I find that hard to believe; the network wasn't even visible on our devices, which points to a major coverage problem. This property is nothing like a resort—it feels like a basic motel with even fewer amenities, as there isn't even a complimentary breakfast. There are other regular-cheaper motel in the area, I would recommend them over this ‘resort’.

Quaint little resort that is very convenient to both the park and Torrey. Since we are on an extended road trip, appreciated the on-site laundry service. Restaurant was done for breakfast, and the fitness center offered a great view. We stayed in a cabin which was very comfortable and had a nice porch for relaxing and enjoying the views. Seeing the llamas in the morning was cute.

Firstly, this is a resort not an inn or BnB hotel. Spread across huge area, with various sizes of cottages, wagons, suites & rooms. There are fire pits for campfires. Watching sunrises and sunsets from own patio is an amazing experience. Other basic amenities such as kitchenette, coin operated laundry, pool, ice/vending are perfect for a vacation.

The photos are NOT true to reality. The hot tub and pool are shabby and small. The view from our cabin was of the public bathroom and a communal fire pit with the red rocks off to the side. Though our cabin was clean, the furnishings and decor were dated and worn. We were disappointed with the true state of the place compared to what the photos depicted and we will not be returning.

Kind of stretches the definition of “resort”. This is a motel property that received a renovation at some point. Biggest thing going for it was the location. But, on site restaurant was expensive, with there being much better options in the area. You can clearly hear what’s going on in rooms adjacent to you, including when they turn on the shower. While some rooms have great views, ours faced the parking lot. If we didn’t keep the curtains closed everyone would have a clear view inside the room.

Everything about this “resort” besides the location was disappointing. Do not trust the pictures - they vastly inflate the quality of the motel.

When I arrived I was told I couldn’t get connecting rooms unless I downgraded one of my room types. I went ahead and did that as king bed rooms do not connect to double queen rooms. Typically not a problem but king rooms are in a different building so that wouldn’t work here. In order to downgrade my room I had to pay an extra $50, even though king suite room was a higher rate. All in all very frustrating as the front desk staff took a half hour just to work through that change. Not fun with kids waiting in the car.

The room and grounds quality were very disappointing as well. It is basically a roadside motel, so it is hard to upgrade much but having a curtain as a bathroom door was a particularly gross touch. The pool had dirty towels strewn everywhere and generally looked much worse than pictures.

The location was great. Close to the park. Just a very disappointing stay overall. Certainly the worst of our trip. And somehow the most expensive due to the overcharge by the hotel manager.

The pictures you see on hotels.com look beautiful. What we got assigned was a first floor room behind the stairwell to the 2nd floor. We asked for an upgrade and were told none available. Room was dated and sink drain had to be fixed. Lobby smelled of cannibus. Restaurant had such bad reviews we did not go there. Highly recommend you skip,this place.

Beautiful resort with amazing views and very nice rooms.

A small downside was the outdoor fireplace setup. There were multiple fireplaces (in the tiki areas and by the wagon stays), but only one was running. It had very limited seating, and some guests were there from around 6 PM, making it hard for others to enjoy—especially on a chilly evening with not much else to do.

The pool also didn’t seem to be heated to the advertised temperature.

That said, the llamas and horses were a really nice touch. Overall, a lovely stay with a few areas that could be improved.
