The entrance to this place is a filthy alley, totally blown away, just nasty! There was a hole at the bottom of our room door a decent size rat could crawl threw put a towel down every night to well make us feel a little better before going to bed, the Hotel itself was clean rundown a bit but with the weather and Hurricanes understandable, don't look for coffee in the morning in the lobby had to go buy a warm cup every morning across the street for $4 bucks, the location is on the board walk, now that's joke, homeless, potheads just get in your room before dark or venture out in parties of 4 or more! will say the staff was very nice and helpful and the pool area was clean.

The parking is $25 to park at the actual hotel but there is a parking lot a block or two away and it’s about five dollars per night. The hotel was conveniently located and there’s a restaurant downstairs. There are plenty of shops and restaurants all around. I bought a lot of food on the way in not knowing the eating situation, but there is plenty of food so no need to over buy like I did. I highly recommend the hotel and can hardly find any issues. The door had a hard time closing due to the lock getting stuck, but other than that, it was a really good time.

We chose this hotel once again for its unbeatable location on the Boardwalk, giving us quick and easy access to restaurants and shops, plus the incomparable views from the room. The staff is extremely friendly, especially Hillarine Joseph, whose island spirit and incomparable energy fill everyone with the island vibes, making us feel right at home. The beds are super comfortable, the rooms and surrounding areas are always celan anbd ready, as is the pool. Despite the lack of water that weekend and several power outages during our stay, the fact that we returned to enjoy the charms of this hotel and the island was more than enough. The staff was always very attentive, and a very generous touch was that they provided us with complimentary bottled water during our stay. A detail we truly appreciated. If I return to the island, I wouldn't hesitate to stay at this hotel again. It feels wonderful to be so warmly welcomed every time a guest arrives.

The hotel and room were fine, however unprepared to accommodate guests during the several water outages that happened during our stay. While the water outages were not their fault, it happened a few times n they remained unprepared. My suggestion would be to have a storage of water available for guests in case of these emergencies so they can still shower and flush toilets. Buckets so water can be used to flush toilets and gallon bottles so guests can shower n brush their teeth.

I can’t believe I paid $200 a night for this hotel. Found hairs in the shower. Toilet paper wasn’t replaced from previous guest. Walls were paper thin. I could clearly hear the tv & conversation of other guests. The elevator was not working the entirety of the stay. Overall, the property is very rundown. Also, this Caravelle isn’t affiliated with the one in Myrtle B. Good location & kind staff. Wouldn’t stay here again

This trip was his Bday gift and we really enjoy the mega convenience location of this place, with access in just a minute to the shops, restaurants, charters boats, and a really comfy room, nice A/C and amenities. Not what I expected. Promoted Breakfast vouchers with booking and upon arrival they told us we have to pay for them. Very misleading. The walls are very thin so you can hear everything. The air conditioner didn’t work well and the windows don’t open. They promote the hotel like it’s elegant but when you arrive you have to go through an alley to get to the reception office. It’s not elegant and more of a low budget stay. View is very nice but apparently someone was shot and killed right next to the hotel on the board walk so they were having a tribute this weekend. Watch your back and be safe.

Disgusting hotel. Don’t believe the reviews. Dirty. Paper thin walls so the next door room were so loud and the walls like a sheet. Could not sleep. The rooms smell of MOLD. Very unhealthy. Paint does not disguise mold! And in check out they did not credit the $100 hold they put on your card! I had to call and email numerous times. These people/managment are deplorable.

This place from the outside throws you off I was a little nervous but entering it has a lovely lobby and the rooms are nice and clean. All the staff were polite and accomodating the entire time. I felt comfortable and safe travelling alone for the 1st time. Literally steps away from boardwalk and tourist stores. Loved it and I will be booking there when I come again!
