It’s an interesting place to stay. But I think Quesnel in general is a little interesting. The outside of the hotel is very run down. The inside is decent. But my towels were dirty, beds were ok clean. It is what it is.

All in all a sad experience for us to stay at.

** New Ownership-Under renovations The staff were friendly and helpful when we stayed Pool/hot tub was not working I spoke to staff and they came up with a solution we could use local recreational centre and keep the receipt and they would reimburse us also one of the beds in our room /sons was uncomfortable I suggested they purchase bed toppers-manager said they will order they have continental breakfast as well as it was nice to be centrally location walking distance to an amazing bakery, Granville, coffee shop as well as several restaurants/movie theatre and grocery /liquorstore very convenient

The washroom was filthy. The washer and dryer were filthy. Trash cans had not been emptied on the outside property swimming pool was out of order. Electrical outlets didn’t work. Patio was filthy furniture on the patio is filthy drapes hanging on the patio door had holes in them.

My daughter’s first hotel experience was bloody sheets with a dresser covered in powder and ashes. Where she found a complimentary lighter at a hotel that had closed the pool because they had no maintenance guy no coffee in the rooms or at the complementary breakfast, which my wife was told she could not bring back to the room for me. I didn’t complain as I never usually do, but I was billed after the fact for the bloody sheets that were left behind for my daughter to find an extra 50 bucks I recommend you check your rooms before allowing your kids that powder could be fentanyl when called thethe hotel and asked for the manager I was hung up on twice if I could give a review of less than one star this hotel would receive it

This property should be close to being condemned. It was filthy full of mold, outdated and windows were ready to fall out out of their window pains. Nobody should think this is a regular Ramada and Ramada should be alerted to the condition of this property. I would never recommend a homeless person to stay there.

We stayed there from May 29-31.
- ceiling in lobby/breakfast area leaking and no bucket or anything, dripping all over dining table/chairs
- everything smells like cigarettes
- our room had old food in fridge and ashes in bathroom. We changed rooms and our new room had brownish red stains on blanket, the concierge brought me a new blanket
- couldn’t get a clear answer about the pool/hot tub but apparently it was “broken” so couldn’t use it, they still have it advertised on their board outside
- my son was too creeped out to shower in the room so we had to shower at a relatives house

Overall, staff were few and far between but the one I did talk to seemed like he was doing his best but was not well supported by management or owners.

You’re better off staying at the Sandman a few minutes away for the same price and far better amenities

Not like the pictures online. Don't bring a black light. Glad we had 2 usable pillows out of 8. No cutlery, pots, pans or dishes. Cooktop and sink, fridge and microwave. Window covering missing. Not enough outlets or broken outlets. Had to move the coffee maker across the room to use it. Definitely not worth the cost. Crappy breakfast. Door lock broken

The staff have excellent customer service. Room was clean. But they told me they just renovated the pool and hot tub.. But the hot tub was cold as the pool and jets did not work. Then i went to get a coffee from the breakfast area and the coffe was ice cold. And that was at 615am. No yogurt or fruit like the other Ramadas

It was a very busy wkend in Quesnel and we were happy to get a room. We were happy that they upgraded us from a 1 bed room to a 2 bed, as there was none available when we booked! This property is pretty run down, and hasn't been updated in quite some time. Staff were friendly at check in, the breakfast was mediocre and the room was fine for the wkend. Location was great and close to everything downtown.

The room that I had booked had no heat in it. They had portable heaters which they felt was sufficient.

The lobby smelt like pot then I checked it.

The security bar for the sliding door was not long enough to latch

They did give me a new room.

The building was very run down and need of some maintenance.

Staff and room were both as expected but had a late arrival and for some reason the room I was in ( king suite with balcony ) had no heat in -10 weather , a little space heater was provided ( not turned on upon arrival ) so it took over 2 hours for the room to even be comfortable enough to sleep in I travel frequently and usually Ramada is one of my go too hotels but definitely reconsidering

Someone had smoked in the room prior to our stay and so I mentioned it so we didn’t get charged for something we didn’t do. They offered us a new room but we toughed it out. The chamber maid should have noticed and done what was required to remove the smell. I mentioned it and they will look into it. I’ve stayed there plenty and this is the first time this has happened. Otherwise, all was great.

Staff were pleasant but had poor English skills. I asked for a pop machine and it seems there wasn't one although 3 different staff directed me to it. Also asked when checking in if they had de-caf coffee, was assured they did but they didn't. Room was very dusty, lamp was broken but the room was quiet. On the plus side, the complimentary breakfast was generous and the plumbing was very quiet.

My experience at the Ramada in Quesnel was excellent from start to finish. The hotel was easy to find and conveniently located near everything I needed — restaurants, shops, and even a lovely walking trail nearby.

I had a great stay at the Ramada in Quesnel! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment I arrived- check-in was smooth and quick. My room was clean, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet, which made it easy to relax after a long day of travel.

24 hours front desk, but not. by accident the door locked me out at 23:30 and there is no body in the front desk, called hundred times , no body answer the call , i have to find another hotel and Expedia not refund me , hotel offered me $50.00 refund. very bad experience. This hotel should not bear the name of Ramada very deceiving. I booked because of the name knowing it is usually good. Mini fridge was not working, in room phone didn’t work, no face clothes, asked for extra towels was told they couldn’t bring till morning then didn’t show up. Got an extra blanket which was wet so couldn’t use again no one working there so couldn’t replace. The pool looked dirty so we couldn’t use. The breakfast was sparse, the only thing you could count on being there was toast when there was other things there wasnt enough for the family to eat. Front counter staff told of the problems and he just looked at me and didn’t respond.

The hotel/motel is in need of maintenance. The walls were half painted and painted over wallpaper. The room we were in had a hump in the floor making it a tripping hazard and the bed unlevel.

The fire doors slammed closed, they did not full close. The carpets in the hallways and stairs were gross.

Would not stay here again. We expected more from Ramada and the Wyndham group.

The only good part was the front desk staff were very friendly.

Wasn’t anything to not like. Everything was quick the fellow who checked us in was very pleasant and helpful. The room was everything we expected and very clean. After a long hot day the pool was great. I booked especially for that for my 2 grandkids. Hot tub not working but didn’t care. Breakfast was great. More variety than we expected and the pancake machine was so cute.

No locks on windows ! There was a slice in the screen beside the door and the window didn’t lock. Felt extremely unsafe. Told the front desk and they offered no help. The rooms were in rough shape. Found bugs in or beds. Will never stay there again.

Swimming pool and hot tub are big pluses, but add a complimentary breakfast and you got something special. The rooms were comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful.
A small casino with 64 machines is a 2 minute walk for entertainment (Billy Barker).

Our room was not best. For over $200 a night you would expect a clean room.
There was a loud noise coming from the bathroom all night., so much it kept you awake.
The room had a musty smell, and very dark. There were no lights. So we kept the door open to get light and to air out the room
The hair dryer was falling apart, you had to put your finger inside as the button had fallen inside the dryer... Someone could get a shock from this.
When the staff were told and shown they agreed there was a terrible noise and he also the dryer, But his reply was like it was okay.
Went for breakfast and there was no coffee left. When I approched the staff they said they would get some made but it would be 10 mins. No worries Mc Donalds was down the street.
