This was my 2nd stay at this location and it was far worse than the last.
The place was undergoing renovations from morning till 11pm. Hammers and saws.
The first room they placed me in had birds living in the bathroom fan exhaust, very noisy. The owner knew about it and decided to put me there anyway. Next room had massive damage to the electrical outlets by the sink and I had staff trying to enter multiple times a day. Every day I came back to my room the front door was wide open with all my stuff still inside. The door wouldn’t even lock but leaving it wide open is not acceptable. I will not be returning despite its location being the most ideal for my use case in the region.

Booked through Expedia and had an extremely disappointing experience.

Upon arrival, it was obvious the hotel was undergoing renovations. The lobby was effectively closed and check-in had to be done through an area behind the counter. After checking in, the owner advised that our room would not be available for much of the day because they were replacing refrigerators and microwaves. Considering the room had already been paid for, this was unacceptable.

When we returned around 4:30 PM, we found our room door standing wide open with our belongings inside. There was someone smoking in the doorway area, and the room had been left completely unsecured and accessible to anyone walking by. A hotel’s most basic responsibility is providing a secure room for guests, and that clearly did not happen here.

Once inside, it was obvious the room was not ready for occupancy. Stickers and packaging from new appliances were still attached, and a microwave had been left sitting on the floor with the cord plugged in. I had to move it myself to make the room safe and usable.

I contacted Expedia seeking a refund, but was told they would only refund the stay if the hotel owner agreed. The owner refused.

Overall, this property appeared to be operating while undergoing renovations, rented out rooms that were not fully ready for guests, and failed to provide basic security for personal belongings. I would not stay here again and would strongly recommend others consider alternative accommodations.

The hotel use to be a super 8. Its going through renos currently. However our room was clean and newly renovated. Beds were a little firm for me as I have a back injury so adjusting to a new bed is a challenge for me. Overall staff were friendly and accommodating. Stay was quiet for being close to a hwy. I would definitely stay there again. Its gonna be a nice place once all eenos are done. Breakfast lacked a bit but overall it was good.

Like I said , we were more than happy with the new owner and his passion to make the Hotel amazing. It’s been renovated and still having upgrades. We will be staying there again in the future.

Room was atrocious, staff were quite pleasant and the area was quiet overnight but the neighbors were not. Mini fridge so noisy I had to unplug it overnight. 1cm gap all the way around the door, -17C air coming in so the laminate floor was literally ice cold. Couch was pushed up onto the baseboard heater and stinking up the room with hot upholstery, had to pull couch away from it. Terrible sulphur smell from the water, refused to use it for brushing teeth or morning coffee. Hair and skin smelled of sulphur after shower and all the next day till I could shower again. Bed was decent, towels were clean. Didn't try the breakfast, The price was great but not worth staying there again.

The staff was friendly during check-in and the facility, clean bed sheets and towels. However, this motel seems to be in a transition period to new owners. My room had some renovations complete but the workmanship was extremely poor (baseboard not fully attached, half painted bathtub, paint on the floor). The shower's hot water has a strong smell of sulphur likely from a faulty hot water tank, years of built up dust on the floor in corners of the room. Hopefully this is just a product of the old owners and it will be better in the future.

Great customer service. We requested a room by the little patio so baby could sleep in the room while we hung outside for a while before bed. Perfect set up for our family so we could be nice and close.

The room was warm and dry and the bed was, for the most part, good. The staff was helpful and friendly. That said, the room had very few amenities not even kleenex. The hot water smelled like Sulphur and the toilet wouldn’t flush properly. The place needs some serious renovations including the cobblestone walkways which are very uneven due to frost heaves and are a tripping hazard.

It was conveniently close to the highway, but far enough from it to be quiet. Dining was close by.

The room had sticking doors which were hard to open and close, and nothing that really made use say \"nice.\" The microwave oven was situated in such a way that it was necessary to practically stand on one's head to operate it. It wasn't plugged in either.

Booked online, was cheaper by the time we got there. Wouldnt change the rate even though there was a summer sale.
The bathroom had dirt splatter on wall, weevils on floor, dead mosquitoe squished on wall. There was a large crack between the bathroom tile and regular room that obviously had not been vacuumed for a while.
The mattresses were super comfortable though. Rarely have i found such a comfortable mattress in hotels.

I have stayed at many Super 8’s. This was by far the worst ever. Shouldn’t be part of this chain. No where to hang clothes, closet had no clothes rod, hangers or Hooks. No Towel bars to hang towels, no towels til we asked for them. No toilet paper holder. Double bed instead of queen bed as advertised and charged for. Exposed power outlet over sink area. Exposed plumbing. Room should be completed before renting it out to the public. Staff very accommodating and apologetic but ownership needs to step up and give them something to be proud to be part of.

Very disappointed.
1. We were not told that the Super 8 motel was under renovation when we booked two rooms for two nights.

2. We arrived and were told that there is a standard fee of $100 damage deposit per room. We needed to know that at the time of the booking.

3. We arrived at the hotel at 5:00pm after a long day of travel, we are tired, not interested in fighting.

4. We are told that the rooms are not ready for us, no lamps by bedside.
5. No hangers or place to hang clothes anywhere in the room.
6. No sheets for the hide a bed, but we specifically booked two beds.
7. No iron to go with the ironing board.
8. The ironing board was covered in black dust from construction. We had to wash the ironing board before ironing clothes.
9. There was 2/3 of the weather stripping / door sweep was missing on the main door to outside, there was a huge 1/2 inch gap at the bottom of the door to let bugs in, which we had to fill temporarily.
10. The coaxial cable running to the tv was pulled out of the wall and just hanging loose
11. The bathtub had many long 12\" black hairs from the last guest and huge black stains/smudges 4\" x 4\" on the side of tub.
12. The entire area around toilet was dirty, covered in hair and smelled of urine.
13. There were many large paint and drywall mud stains on the floor in bathroom.

Very disappointed, but we were in town for a family wedding and all other hotels already sold out so did not have an optino to go elsewhere. Not Happy!

Room was a bit spartan, but obviously very clean, but lacked personality. My children were very happy with the room though and I appreciated the shower/bathtub combo for that. I was confused initially by the two (!) thermostats in the room when it came time to sleep - we had air conditioning on and the thermostat by the A/C was on minimum, but the room heaters were controlled by another (unseen by me until morning) thermostat that was helpfully labeled, reminding me that I should check room temperature before turning the lights out in a room.
The front desk agent/owner(?) was very friendly and accommodating, and helped my child feel special during a somewhat scary (medical) visit.

The place requires a lot of upgrades. The face cloth had an obvious stain on it. The fridge was old and the composer made loud noise and woke me up on the middle of the night so I had to unplug it. People smoking pot below my unit. Insulation was not good. I heard people next door talking early next morning. So my test was very broken up.

From the hwy it appeared to be okay. As we drove in, there was garbage (fast food and such) on the ground and from Renos everywhere. They had a dumping ground for old hot water tanks right on the premises. As we walked into our room, it was not as advertised. Old bed linen, the floors weren't clean, there was hair on the baseboards and in the cracks from their diy flooring job. They had recently tiled the bathtub which looked good, but that made a mess in the bath with concrete stuck to it. They had freshly painted (again looked diy). Sleep was terrible, uncomfortable bed, and it was impossible to fall asleep, nothing about that place felt clean. We told the front desk how we felt and that they were charging way too much! We were told they were getting new beds, and still working on Renos! This Motel does have potential in the right hands unfortunately I don't think the new owners have what it takes, and we will not be staying here again.

Noone was at the front desk for about 45 minutes even though i had a reservation from expedia in advance. When staff did arrive they could barely speak english and we couldnt understand each other. They also wanted a $100 deposit that wasnt mentioned on the expedia and to ask for it after noone was there to check me in for 39 to 45 mins was a bit much. One of the staff members was kind enough to let me into a room though even though the front desk person wasnt there for a long while. That was kind. Its a basic place but there was stains on the comforter and the room was really cold. The tub wasnt cleaned out either. Neither was the toilet. I had to lay toilet paper down all around the seat. Doesnt look like they really clean the rooms throughly. There aren't any plugs or outlets to charge your phone or use your laptop or other appliances you might have. They are either behind the beds under the beds or bound in a slot behind the mini fridge. I have to plug my phone charger cord into the back of the tv. There aren't any towel racks to hang up your towels either. It's hardwood floors with no rugs so you need shoes or slippers because it is cold floor. I had to barricade the door with two chairs because the door didnt close all the way and because it doesnt seem safe here. The best thing is the water is hot and there is cable tv with lots to watch. No wifi. Noone to check out in the morning. They said to leave the key in the room. Double charged me when i paid on expedia

We saw only one staff member in 3 days. Our room had 1 lamp, no other lights except in the bathroom. Bathroom fan did not work, bathroom door lock was broken. Had to ask for a garbage can as there were none in the room. And 2 hand towels, had to ask for towels. Only one wall outlet that could be used. And could hear everything in the hall, the parking lot outside our window and in the next room. It was very inexpensive!

Don't stay here. This place is in disrepair. Chuncks of drywall missing in the bathroom with heavy mold behind them. Bathtub was dirty. The main light was burnt out. Unfinished bed frames. Looks completely different from photos. And when it says it sleeps 5, it does not.

The Continental breakfast is served in the tiniest room. You had to turn sideways not to bump people. Toast, muffins, and cereal only. Instead of milk for the cereal they have water and a little fish bowl full of coffee mate packets. No tea, no hot water. The bread they did have was hard like it had been refrozen a dozen times.

I love a cheap hotel room and don't expect the Ritz, but it needs to be sanitary and as advertised. This place is neither of those things.

I think the guy ar desk tried to scam us. He said my card was declined, i told him I paid in full on expedia, and what he said doesn't make sense. At this point he had not tried taking payment for pet or deposit. He tried telling me that I had given him a different card from what I paid with I showed him my receipt it matched the last four didgets of my card. He gave me my room key and then at 9pm (we checked in at 5pm) he called my room looking for deposit and pet fee. We were asleep.

Requested wheel chair access room. Front desk clerk didn’t read reservation and was placing us on second level. Was not happy about changing to ground floor room. Room is old. Holes in walls where towel bars pulled out, missing parts of bathroom door frame, bathtub and sink had rust marks - generally room is tired. One thing, floor was replaced and made it very easy for k we scooter to manoeuvre in room.

We stayed for one night. The room was still under construction and really shouldn’t have been rented. The floor in the bathroom wasn’t even finished. The bathroom door wouldn’t close because of the partially installed floor. The pillow had no case on it and the sheets were stained.
The bathtub was nice and new. But the floor around it not finished.
The maid cart was left outside our room blocking the entrance to our room and wasn’t moved till very early in the morning. It was full of linens and towels left outside all night beside a busy street.
I wouldn’t recommend staying here.
