Smoke / fire alarm went off in the room at 11:30pm while my fiancé and I were dead asleep. Staff were not helpful about the situation and upon check out the next morning when I explained this happened and was not happy about it the staff just stared at me without any initiative to remedy the horrible night. Staff said a manager would call me after I pressed about not being happy with my stay, however, a manager never reached out. Heard from family in the area that this has happened at the best Western to others they knew. I will be avoiding this place in the future.

Absolutely wonderful hotel. Books up fast so get your reservation early. Beautiful lobby, large room, super comfortable beds. I had a kitchenette room and it was sparsely equipped but adequate. Could use some more outlets and ports for electronics. Would highly recommend to all travelers.

My room heater wasn't working well, and despite trying to turn the heat up twice and it failed, had to turn the stove on 2 power to heat the room so i could sleep. Pool is tiny and hot tub - both close crazy early at 930. Rooms are on the higher price point - I'm going to stick with Ramada as my go to in Williams lake. This was nice, but these two things are making me walk

The room was decent. Breakfast was decent Disappointed that the pool and hot tub hours are 9:30-9:30, we went for 9:30 am and was told we were not allowed to use the hot tub until they put chemicals in it. No one showed up to do so and there were no pool towels both days we stayed.

I gave up my room for a smaller one because the hotel needed it for someone else. However i got stuff with a room next to the pool and front desk. Which became very noisy due to the hockey tournament and the kids left to run around the halls racing from one 1st to the 2nd floor. .

The room was exceptionally clean. The check in was smooth and efficient. The breakfast was top notch with lots of options. The only negative thing was using the TV. The procedure to operate the television was the most complex I’ve seen in any hotel, so much so that they need to leave step by step instructions in the room.

The hot tub had too much chlorine and burnt the eyes and nose. The metal bar above the closet fell off and head me in the head and caused a mild concussion.

DO NOT ASK THEM ABOUT THE POOL

The room was adequate; my view was a bank/hill. The bed was comfortable. The shower had a high pitched screech the entire time it ran, which was unpleasant. The breakfast was okay but compared to other complimentary hot breakfasts of similar nature, this underwhelmed. The worst part about this hotel was the man who was there during check-out. I went to use the pool after breakfast prior to checking out and saw there was a sign that it was not in service because it was being cleaned. I asked front desk if i could use it since no one was in there cleaning it, but he said they had added chemicals and it wasn't ready. I suggested this be done when closing the pool so that it was useable for folks before they checked out, to which he replied very rudely that they follow Interior Health standards (touchy subject?). I asked if I could use the hot tub in the meantime and he said it was fine to use. Unfortunately it was less than luke-warm; colder than a kiddie pool at the rec center. I gave up and left and mentioned this to front desk, and he replied that \"it is set to Interior Health standards\" and was not interested in checking it or resolving anything (this guy should really go work for IH.. super into their \"regulations\"). The whole pool/hot tub area could use a reno, it looked a bit dingy and water looked yellow (probably the IH standard).

It is a nice hotel and all of the staff we talked to were very kind. However, the heater in our room was making a terrible sound. Thankfully we were able to be moved to another room, but that was at 12:30AM. Grateful to have been moved but that was a huge inconvenience for us.

Paid quite a bit extra for the jet tub, filled the tub turned on the jets and it shot out dirt or something of the sort. Also cold knob didn't work so it was very hot or had to wait for it to cool down. Beds were a bit hard, both woke up sore. Otherwise would be a 5 star

Did not like that the elevator was not working and we needed to climb the stairs which is challenging with replacement knees on a spiral staircase carrying luggage. Lastly we choose this hotel because it had a pool which can be nice to workout those aches and pains in the knees, sadly the pool was out of commission, had I known this we would have stayed elsewhere.

This is a decent best western hotel. Food was good in the morning. A couple food options nearby - shout out to the casino nearby. Large rooms but the felt a little tired - worn furniture and dirty tile in the bathroom. Not a lot of light in this property - used least wattage possible which made things feel dim. Pool felt like a missed opportunity. Good space with no design. Honestly this could be a gem. Would still recommend staying. Solid hotel for the night.

The breakfast was nice, and the person taking care of it was doing an amazing job. The property is dated, old carpets, wallpaper, furniture, uncomfortable bed, just worn out. The wifi password was illegible nothing to charge car electronics. Stairwells old worn out carpet. We liked the stairs coming down into the lobby.

Very comfy - breakfast needs a tweak

We had an exceptional sleep. So nice to see rooms with queen beds rather than doubles as so many other hotels still have.
The pool was great. The hotel was clean.
The continental breakfast could use some love. So many hotels just don’t get this right. You can do continental while still keeping it healthy.
