For someone looking for a quick place to stay, this is satisfactory and will serve the purpose. This is not the Ritz Carlton so don’t expect a 5 star stay. Check-in was easy and staff were friendly. The rooms have been renovated somewhat but they are lacking USB ports for charging phones, watches etc so bring proper chargers with you. Breakfast was your normal continental style and was pretty reasonable. Overall it was sufficient for a night stay. The property is dated somewhat but they do make the effort to keep it clean and the staff are friendly and helpful.

Good clean stay and well priced and located for north bay. It was extremely hot in the lobby. Like uncomfortably hot. But our room had good A/C.

We didn’t try the breakfast.

We asked for extra pillows for the pullout and they brought them right up. No issues.

Lobby was extremely hot- thermostat was set at 29C.
They increased the deposit by $100.00.

I did book this stay last minute, but I found the quality of my room to be not up to par. The couch cushions were out of place, and the room had a smell to it. But it was good to stay overnight as a quick drive through town.

Got a single king room for my wife and I, mattress was majorly dipped into the center, we rolled into each other all night it was that bad. Woken up before 9am by housekeeping knocking on the door several times even though the do not disturb sign was on the outside of the door. I do not recommend staying there

We where not greeted with a hello or smile on arrival. We were confused with the TV operation having never needed to use my cel phone to operate a television set. Only had Roku as a way to view news and old movies (three days of NHL play offs with no coverage). The Little round bowl toilet was only 13 or 14 inches high. Carpeted hall way was littered with paper and dirt and was not vacuumed for three days. Litter was around the entrance to the lobby from outside. The yellow paint on the entrance threshold was so worn off the sill was rusting. The windows on the inside dinning area were dirty and needed cleaning. The ice machine was out of service every time we went to get ice, we had to buy ice for our beverages. The staff had poor English skills and were hard to understand, and were always on their cell phones. We had to ask for a receipt on leaving. WE VISIT TWICE A YEAR BUT WILL NOT COME BACK HERE.

Our initial impression was of a tired motel.
The stairs to the rooms needed to be vacuumed.
The lobby washrooms needed attention and the paper towel dispenser was broken in the ladies room.
Parking was ample.
Our room and bathroom were clean and comfortable.

The blanket and pillow heads were dirty and stained, and the box for the Kleenex was really dirty too. The pillows were very uncomfortable and the bed was full of springs stabbing our backs.
After our check-in, we asked to get a light bulb fixed and a clean blanket.. the guy helped us but he didn't have the best attitude. Also, the ice machine wasn't working.
By 8:40 am we went for breakfast and there was no more eggs, we asked if there were more coming and the guy said \"sorry no , no more\", but breakfast was supposed to be until 9:30.
We did not really enjoy our stay at this hotel. It felt like the staff didn't really care about the customers and made us feel uncomfortable.

Room was clean in fairness and the bed was comfortable, the plug in the bath did not fit so the water ran off before I could bathe, the reception staff at check in was cold and rude, demanding $250 deposit per room for \" incidentals\" I argued this point as I'd booked 4 rooms but he was adamant or cancel and go elsewhere but no refund, now I have to wait for days before the deposit is returned. Breakfast staff were much nicer, told us to get whatever we wanted and take back to our rooms as there were only 4 tables all in use. I wouldn't recommend this place, there are much nicer places in north bay at a similar price

When I checked in, I was assigned a room. When I went to the room, it hadn't been cleaned after the previous guest (I've attached a photo). They moved me to a room next door, where the toilet was leaking, and the pump would kick on every 30 seconds or so. The front desk attendant had a look at it, but he was able to slow the leak, so it turned on every 5 minutes. So I had to put on a white-noise app on my phone to try to mask the sound so I could get to sleep.

Also, there are no outlets anywhere near the head of the bed (they're all on the far side of the room). I have to sleep with a medical device and had to rearrange the nightstands to cobble together a solution. Also, I try to charge my phone (which I use as a clock and an alarm) on the nightstand, so now I have to charge it on the far side of the room. What a terrible design choice.

We a good time overall except for when checking out. Several of us have not received our deposits back because of an error on part of staff when taking deposits last night. They have told us that we will receive our money in 3-5 business days. Personally that put my travel back to in jeopardy but the gentleman at the desk covered my gas from his own wallet. Thats the only hotel I will stay in when I’m in north bay so I’ll be back to pay him back. IF YOU SEE THIS WE MADE IT HOME. THX BROTHA, SEE YA SOON ✌

After switching rooms twice due to hair being on the toilet seat and in the beds, we still found hair in one of the beds in the 3rd room. It was already 9:30pm, so we didn't request to switch again. You could smell the dirt and see it in the lobby. Everything was dusty. The carpet in the hallway didn't look like it had been vacuumed for a month. The room itself was clean and smelled clean. We didn't bother to eat breakfast as we could only imagine what the kitchen looked like. Will not return.

Room was clean. Bed not the most comfortable but fine for a one night stay. Noisy people in middle of night in the hallway meant we didn't get a great night's sleep. Breakfast was good, but the tables could have used a wipe down. One person was trying to do it all and he was struggling to keep up. Overall good for a quick one night stay on the road.

Receptionist in the morning was leaned back with his feet up and on his phone the entire time. They claim there is a full continental breakfast included with stay. That wasn’t the case. By the time we got there which was only 30 minutes after breakfast opened. There was no more cereal, no more sausage, no more bagels, no English muffins, no brown bread, no milk etc. Breakfast consisted of just plain eggs (that were cold) and waffles. Since waffles was the only hot breakfast item available, once people came down it created a line up and longer wait times to get anything to eat. My “continental breakfast” was simple 2 pieces of white toast. Hardly a breakfast. I believe it’s the staffs responsibility to make sure that supplies are stocked at all times, especially when you’re advertising “breakfast included” when booking. I’d say considering the overall body language and behaviour of the receptionist that morning would explain why things are falling through the cracks. Reclining in a chair behind the desk while texting and FaceTiming on your phone isn’t proper etiquette while on the job. I don’t believe I’d stay at this establishment again because of those reasons. I believe I deserve a partial refund as I was only partially given what was advertised.

The building is in disrepair. I stayed in a room next to an exit, and you could consistently smell cigarette smoke that would come through the window vent. Hallways having the baseboard molding redone, however, workers left their buckets with glue out along with tools. Just a very unprofessional looking place.

First there were no chargers for electric vehicles. We drive a Tesla.
Second there were two cocstant noises. One was the bar fridge we unplugged. The other came from the water systen which went away upon flushing the toilet but came back soon after.
And the room was cold when we arrived. The heat was completely off.

The place was disgustingly dirty and smelt, when we arrived in the parking lot a quick look at the building showed nearly every room had curtains that were not attached and hanging all over the place. The lobby was filthy and had a old dirty small, I asked the receptionist to show us the room, it was so disgusting old worn out furniture the curtains were not even hooked up to the rod they looked ancient. The carpet smelt and was so dirty it looked like it hadn’t been clean forever. We decided NOT TO STAY THERE. They would not allow us to cancel even though I was within the 4:30 pm checking time which I had to pay extra for. I tried to contact Expedia directly but was unsuccessful in doing so, by the time I tried to canel it didn’t was past my check in time. l lost the money. Which upset me, so I’m taking to social meeting and word of mouth to let people know that that TRAVELODGE Wyndham should be condemned and that I was very disappointed with Expedia for even having that dump recommended on their site.

When I first arrived I was checking in with the host. I asked for a receipt since I needed proof of payment and cash deposit but it seemed like such an inconvenience for the host. He said he was new and didn’t know how so I asked him to contact or ask someone to show him since it was necessary I got a receipt. The whole time he was rolling his eyes and seemed very impatient even though I was the only person checking in. Once I got that I went to my room #128 the room had a stale smell so I put in a car freshener in hopes it would help… I moved the night stand on my side of the bed to plug in my charger and there was garbage… a napkin and straw. After a while my room started getting really cold even though I had the heat on! Turns out my window was leaking soooo much cold air into the room so I tucked the curtain around it to try to keep it warm in the room. The next night I went to take a bath and have a coffee but they only gave us 1 coffee for a 3 night stay and there was no bath plug for the drain so I went to the front desk and again I felt like I was causing a huge inconvenience. The host was rolling his eyes and almost trying to avoid finding me what I needed which should have already been in the room. I’ve stayed here many times I usually don’t have this many issues. Usually the host is more than willing to help but I believe at this point the host was annoyed…. I checked in December 31st and left January 3rd. I hope if I return my next visit will be more pleasant.

The room and bed were very comfortable. I wanted to have a bath and there was no plug for the bathtub which was slightly disappointing. One thing I noticed is that the hot water is REALLY hot-I burned my hand when I was adjusting the temperature for the shower-wasn't expecting it to be that hot. The hotel was quiet but I could hear the guests in the next room. I was wondering why they would put someone in the room directly beside mine when the hotel had barely any people there-the parking lot was empty except for few vehicles. The gentleman at reception could have been a bit nicer-he wasn't rude but not overly friendly. Overall my stay was good and the rate was very reasonable. That's one of the reasons that I chose that hotel. I knew that the Travelodge was a decent hotel and the rate was far better than most of the hotels in North Bay for that date.

This was our second stay here, we were dead tired, arrived at almost dark and were greeted by a happy proficient man. He had us set up quickly! He did ask us to come in and out the middle door or the back door as we had two dogs with us.

Our room was very comfy, beds were good, plenty of pillows, air was warm. We went out and grabbed dinner and brought it back to the room. No issues at all with breakfast, it was plentiful and fresh. Everyone in the dining room was happy.

I would not hesitate in booking this hotel room again!
