First the pros: there is a very good Mexican restaurant within 2 min walking. The water pressure is good. The beds are okay and the air conditioning works really well.

Breakfast was okay about what you would expect for the price. Coffee kept running out with only 4 people there.

Cons: property is not maintained. While rooms are mostly clean (except crud on shower walls). The rest of the hotel is kinda filthy and chipped up. Dirt in every corner and some unnamed substance on the wall and carpet next to our room. Doors are unpainted ice machines are broken.

Convenient location but wished I had stayed next door and you will too.

The room was clean with adequate linens. The coffee machine in the room was stocked with only two sugars and creamers, but I was able to get more downstairs. Breakfast left a lot to be desired. My keycard had to be reset every day. It's an overall decent stay for the price.

The area is rural in Georgia. Room was not as clean as it could have been. Dirt in the corners and along the bathroom floor. Tub was not clean. Our wash cloths were stained with black marks. The wall by the toilet had brown marks on them. We stayed three nights to be close to our daughter who had moved there last year. We booked online because we were not familiar with the area. One of the nights someone on the first floor was smoking the illegal weed in their room. Unfortunately it could be smelled in our room on the second floor. The so called “Great Breakfast” was prepackaged oatmeal cookies, yogurt, some juices, Cheerios, fruit loops! We will never go there again!

The hotel was not clean, nor maintained. Apparently, this place is family operated and their idea of cleanliness is not on the same par with other hotels I have stayed at. There were broken windows in the pool area and the chairs were old. What may have been a game room at one area is now a storage area for junk. Their breakfast was abysmal and had nothing except a waffle machine or cereal or bread. I would not recommend this hotel, nor would I stay there again.

Absolutely horrible experience. Went in and the blankets had yellow stains on them but it all looked freshly made. Then figured out that none of the power outlets in the king sized bed room we were in worked. Only the one in the bathroom worked. Went to the front desk and they told us they could switch our room but all they had was a room with two queen beds in it. We agreed because we were told they were queen beds. We get into the other room and it’s two full sized beds for me and my wife on the night before Valentine’s Day. We told them at the front that wouldn’t work and they told us there was nothing they could do so we just checked out and didn’t stay and now they’re giving the run around about not giving our money back when it was their fault and not ours and even put on our receipt that we didn’t check out until what was originally supposed to be the end of our stay. We even called this morning to double check that they had checked us out the night we had checked in and they told us yes they did but now for official documents they’re wanting to put that we stayed so they don’t have to refund us.

We arrived Monday afternoon and left early Thursday morning. Not once did housekeeping clean our room or restock our towels or empty the trash. We had an infant with us so I bagged up our trash and took it downstairs to the trash can. I also had to hunt down housekeeping for towels, toilet paper, etc.

We had to request a change of room because there were roaches and the room smelled bad, the mirrors were not clean, the bathtub was old and the celing was damaged due to a leak and was not repaired. The second room was better but the bathtub was also old and in need of replacement. The breakfast was not bad but they do not refill the food trays and we had to ask for bread because the basket was empty. At check out i was told that final receipt will be sent to my email but I didn't received it.

Our room had a very sharp smell upon entering which we used room spray for each time we entered. Pillows are the size of throw pillows. Room service only stocked 3 towels for our family of 4 and although they did come replenish and empty trash they never remade the beds. Our comforter had stains on it that looked like a burn mark maybe from an iron or something. Pool room had zero ventilation so the steam was trapped and fell from the ceiling onto everything.
Breakfast was ok- smaller than most. Everyone was welcoming and nice.

As soon as we walked into the lobby it felt dirty. Guest services associate was friendly. We walked into our room and was so thankful we only had one night to stay. It was obvious they tried to cover up the dared and dirtiness with a fresh coat of paint. Didn’t help. Air didn’t cook room off. Bathroom door wouldn’t stay shut. Bed was very uncomfortable.

Several areas found to be sub-par and needing improvement - The microwave in room did not work. The fridge was turned down and defrosted/leaked on floor ruined our food. The towel rack in bathroom was nasty - chipped finish and peeling. No towel hook or rack near bathtub. Light on left side of bed inoperative. Had to figure out how TV worked - 2 remotes required- 1 to choose source and 1 to operate. Only one coffee dispenser utilized - had to wait for it to be refilled. We Have been more satisfied at prior Hampton stays.

Front desk was very nice. Room was dirty. We were exhausted and just wanted to sleep after a long day of traveling. The room smelled like someone had sprayed a bottle of Axe cologne and wet dog. Shower drain full of hair. Utensils behind the dresser. Countertops sticky. It was gross. We slept for a few hours on our own blanket and left. If we weren’t so tired we would have left, it was not a clean hotel. Carpet needs to be replaced and the rooms need to be cleaned. One of the dirtiest rooms I’ve seen in some time. I was very disappointed and will not stay here again.

They have on their sign It's a great breakfast, and it's barely a breakfast. What turned me off the most was how disgustingly dirty the chairs in the dining room were. Then, it advertise a heated pool, and you couldn't even get to the pool as they had it closed.Because they are changing it from a heated pool that was also on the marquee, a heated pool.

The lady who checked us in was very, very sweet.And the young lady with the long dark hair that was at the breakfast Area most of the time was very sweet.

The cleaning people were very nice.But the lady did not speak english. The gentleman who I can only assume was the owner was not very friendly. Everyone else was nice. They told us to put our dirty towels out the door and they would refresh them.But that did not happen as we had to ask when we returned at night.Where our towels were.

Bathroom sink would not drain, bathroom door creaked the whole distance from open to close. Asked for both things to be fixed and neither was. Anytime anyone went to the bathroom in middle of the night, the whole room woke. The sink was disgusting. In the morning the previous night’s teeth brushing water was still half full. Also, picked the hotel because of the indoor pool, which was out of service our entire stay, with no heads-up given.

This hotel should be closed for renovations. Mold on the ceiling and bathroom floor, curtain rod was broken. There was a lot of dust and crumbs behind the beds. One light above the nightstand did not work. Bathroom room was very squeaky. Chairs in the dining room were all stained. I could go on but I won't. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

The girl at the front desk helped me get in the pool area, and she said they had the temperature at 100. But I stepped into the water and it was very cold. We also had a problem with the remote control for the TV, same girl came to our room 3 different times to try to help us but we could only get the channels if we put them in.

The Staff was very friendly. However, during our 4 night stay, we only got only one change of towels, coffee, trash pick up. This was the 3rd time we stayed there and we always got better service on these items. I understand not doing a thorough cleaning and bed change or make-up every day but towels, trash and coffee should be changed every day. This was not acceptable. We also saw some bugs in our room. By the way, we paid the same rates as everyone else.

Our room had a wierd smell, almost like mold. The floors felt sticky with shoes on. Had to ask for extra pillows because what was in room were two of the smallest hotel pillows I've ever seen (we had a king bed). The owners or people running the place, were very serious, made me a bit uncomfortable. The regular staff seemed nice, attentive, and greeted us with smiles. Breakfast was below average, kind of depressing.

I only needed a place to sleep and prepare for the next day. Baymont in Cornelia, GA offered this. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. The coffee pot offered 2 packs of reg and 2 packs of decaf. Many of the hotels are removing the coffee pots. I needed the coffee pot more than the pool.

The lady at the desknwas amazing. That's where the positives end. While walking to the room you could hear a dog excessively barking. When entering the rooom it was hot and the ac was off. The smell of mold and mildew were overwhelming. The controls on the ac were worn off, the front of the init was covered with dust. Mold covered the wall around the unit. The bed cover had blood smeared on it. The covering on the desk chair was worn and peeling. Free wound be overpriced for this place. The health department should close this place and it be unlisted from Hotels.com.

Upon my arrival and getting my room, it smelled like dog urin on the second floor, the room had a strong midew smell. The towels were stained yellow, and the lights went out for 8 hours, we had to stay out of the hotel because it was hot and muggy. The lights went out at about 4 and didn't come back on until 1:45 am the next day. This was the worst experience in a hotel.

Another property in decline

Hotel hallways & stairs had not been vacuumed in (#?) months. Our room also displayed evidence of not being vacuumed or mopped. Odors from cooking in some rooms were very strong. Ice machine broken.
SCARY incident of someone trying to enter our room when we heard a loud bang from the door flying open only to be stopped by the security latch. No knock and happened in the late afternoon so did not think it was housekeeping, but how did the door open that far unless with a master key? Always use the security latch!
No hot breakfast - but better than some in that there was bread for toast & instant oatmeal packets. Otherwise, packaged cookies, bananas & oranges, yogurt milk & juice. On Sundays, you may find scrambled eggs and waffles - no meats.
