Overall, I would rate it a 4.5/5 (5/5 for location and staff and 4/5 for comfort).
Great, centrally located place that is in walking distance to many of the major sights in Rome (Trevi Fountain a few minutes away, Pantheon, Colloseum). Because of this, it is fairly loud at night, as tourists stay in the area until well into the early morning hours, which is then when you start hearing more general city noises. It also would’ve been nice for the shades to block out more light. We stayed at another hotel very close by that was much quieter and blocked the sound, which is how I’m able to make this comparison.
What really stood out for us was the staff. This was a very last minute booking for us when we unexpectedly had to spend one extra night in Rome, and the staff were very helpful and accommodating in our specific situation. The communication over WhatsApp was great, and they were always quick to respond.
Just a heads up for people who may have extra difficulty with them - like many places in Rome, you have to walk up multiple flights of stairs to get to the rooms, but the stairs here were more challenging (older and steeper) than other places we have been to.
