First room was terrible with dirty clothes on the floor and unswept. Fridge was full of mold and hair on the pillow cases. Next room they gave us was nearly as bad. Rooms had no heat on and were freezing when we arrived. Turned heat all the way up and never did warm up. Awful hotel.

The girl that checked us in was awesome. Our keys wouldn’t work a the man at the front desk rudely insisted they did. He finally fixed them. How about some scrambled eggs for Bret? Speaking of breakfast, the young lady that was keeping up with breakfast items kept falling asleep at the tables. All rooms should have hair dryers, renovating or not. Our room was very clean.

Stay here if you love depression and damp surfaces

This was the worst hotel experience I've ever had. The staff was abysmal, barely acknowledged us any time we came or went.

The hotel claims to be under renovation and have \"newly renovated rooms\" but when we asked to be moved to one, they admitted that none were renovated.

The room smelled like must and depression with a dampness covering all surfaces.

Mold, stains and questionable smells were persistent throughout the entire hotel. Lights in the hallway were either missing or hanging by wires, with wallpaper strewn about the floor.

The housekeeping was non-existent as they didn't visit our room once in the 4 nights we stayed there. We had to ask for fresh towels each day, and those were damp and pathetic.

The TV didn't work, the clock and phone were from the 80s, the water pressure felt like a sad garden hose trickling down. No kleenex, toilet paper as thin as this countries grasp on reality and more stains throughout than a back alley street.

I wouldn't stay at this hotel again if you paid me to. I will be back to Greenfield again next September and would rather sleep in a gutter before stepping foot in this hotel ever again.

This is my go-to spot when traveling thru Indy. I've stayed here multiple times. They dont charge the stupid \"incidental fee\". Staff is always available at the front desk. Every trip I arrive around 11 pm and I'm greeted as if its 4 pm in the afternoon.

Ridiculous couldn't even start to sum it up. The grounds were in hideous condition with one tree having been severely over-hacked up and all the parts just laying all over the ground and most shrubery in dire need of a good trim and shaping. The front desk had a scribbled sign of a phone number to call so the extremely heavily accented clerk could come up and check us in. -Definitely no greeting upon entry like the site says. The hotel is supposedly \"under renovational construction\" but all I saw was painting outside the building and an over spray of paint all over my room. They added some little tiles around the edges of the \"jetted tub\" that were also covered in paint. The tub had blue paint splatters all over from painting the wall around it. The tub itself was BEYOND DISGUSTINGLY DIRTY. I had to get cleaner from the desk and clean it myself. There was HAIR on the water return cover (PUKE!!). There was no coffee pot in my room, and the available coffee at the front desk was old, weak as hell and not warm. Plus, how inconvenient to have to walk to the front every time I wanted coffee. The carpet in the room and the hall was stained badly. I'm not sure what was under renovations inside the hotel. Nothing that I could see, even when I really looked. The vending machines were expensive, mostly empty and lacking variety. Pop was 2.75 and not cold. My bed didn't even have a blanket on it!! There was a thin thing between 2 sheets to imitate a duvet cover. JUST DON'T DON'T DON'T!!

Bad partnership between Hotels.com and Baymont Gre

Baymont Greenfield room we stayed in had spiders in the room and shower. Other than that it was ok for the rate under $100. However.. they refused to credit a night stay when the Hotels.com app automatically moved the check in date to the next day when I booked that hotel after midnight. I even ended up staying there that night. Front desk rep told me call Hotels.com and then Hotels.com called the hotel who refused. Really disappointng.

Bed bugs?

The room itself wasn’t terrible – we had a king-size bed that was comfortable enough for my spouse and I. I was a little apprehensive based on some of the recent Google reviews, but at first it didn’t seem too bad. Unfortunately, I woke up with clusters of bites and bites in linear patterns, which are consistent with bed bug bites. I can’t say with 100% certainty, but the bite patterns strongly suggest bed bugs from this establishment. Very disappointing and concerning. Beware if you’re considering staying here.

This is an old Quality Inn. They remodeled the front desk area. My room's AC unit did not blow cold air, the cleaning people left behind two bananas that had to have been sitting for a few days as they were very dark on the shelf above the fridge, and the fridge had mold in it because it was unplugged. Room 214. Right up the staircase from the front desk and first door on the right. They should clean the carpets in that room. It has a smell to it.

Waited in the lobby (with my dog) for ten minutes while the employee was on the phone. My booking was confirmed as pet friendly, the sign outside boasted pet friendly, employee finally gave me my key (to the second level), and as I was walking back outside to gather my things he told me they were not pet friendly. I told him everything says pet friendly, and my booking was for a pet friendly room, otherwise I never would have booked it. He corrected himself and said the second floor was not pet friendly, then continued to argue until finally giving me a room on the first floor. Later that evening (close to 10:00), he called my room and told me neighbors were complaining about my dog barking. There were no neighbors on either side of my room, and my dog was not barking. I told him that she was not barking, and that he'd be able to hear it through the phone if she was, instead of apologizing, or handling it any other way, he repeatedly told me to \"Just take care of the barking\" (that wasn't happening). The wi-fi was a joke, only one bar, if you were lucky. I ended up needing to use a hotspot on my phone to get any work done. They only give you one key, which is annoying when you have more than one person staying in the room. There also wasn't any extra toilet paper in the room, and the roll that was in there was more than halfway used. Overall not a great experience.

Our room is a good size and has great amenities. There were also some simple personal touches added--a bow made out of tissues for the tissue box was cute. The host on shift was very helpful in offering to help get our items to our room door on the second floor. The hotel is having some renovations, but our area isn't affected. The dining room is spacious. The area nearby has great shopping and dining options, and the location is near the highway and is easy to find.

As a senior citizen, I cannot tell you my astonishment when I was told there were no first floor rooms and no elevator causing us to carry our bags up 16 steps to get to the second floor room. Having been on a 13 day road trip our bags were very heavy and it was a hard challenge to complete the task, especially when the desk clerk made NO attempt to apologize or assist us. Very un-customer service friendly. He simply didn't care that we struggled. The facility is under remodeling construction and it was pretty pitiful in that mattresses and such were everywhere, I.e., the sitting area, the meeting room, and other places. The carpeting on the second floor was spotted and soiled. The Sunday \"so called\" breakfast was biscuits and sausage gravy...no eggs..no sausage patty or link...I had juice and left the area. 'It was not a pleasant stay. The room was clean and bed comfortable, but moving the luggage up and then down took away the postiveness of the stay.

Our stay at this hotel was almost entirely awful. When I arrived to check in, the style of room we had reserved (1 king bed) was unavailable, so we had to take a room with 2 queen beds. The prices were different for these two options on Expedia, but I never saw any reimbursement and the clerk told me the prices were the same. Strike 1. Then, while trying to check in, the clerk fielded two full phone calls in the process. No, he didn’t put them on hold while he was helping me, he answered the phone calls fully while my wife and I stood there with our bags waiting. Strike 2. The carpets on the stairs and in the hallway were covered in dirt and stains, and the whole hotel smelled of mildew and stagnation. Strike 3. The room also smelled of mildew and was disgustingly humid. It felt like I was camping in a tent the way the pillow felt on the back of my head, damp and uncomfortable. Strike 4. The TV was tiny, the towels were small and scratchy, and all in all the room wasn’t a pleasant place to be. Strike 5.

All of the good reviews on here said the breakfast was good, but after all the other terrible things we had to deal with, we didn’t even bother trying it. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place, even for a cheap hotel it was abysmal.

The bathroom has what appeared to be dead bugs or possibly feces in the corner. I requested a the bathroom be cleaned and the guy just comes in with a spray bottle, wipes up the corner, and leaves. The air conditioner took HOURS to even start blowing cold air. Then it took hours more to cool the room. The carpet also felt very odd if you walked barefoot on it. Like, after you shower. Almost like a sticky sensation. I wouldn't stay here again, honestly. I picked this hotel because of the rating and cost, but I see the 7.8 rating is fake.

Windam Takeover Not A Good Change

Been a semi-regular traveler to this hotel, sinc before the Quality to Baymont Inn change. Staff is amazing, but typical Windam property, they take an economical roof, in an older outdated building and want to hold a big \"damage deposit\" which they say is refunded an hour after checkout but last time I stayed in a Windam property it took 5 days when using the same bank and another hotel chain it actually does get refunded in a couple hours. This is why I stopped using Windam properties for stays and sadly theyve ruined my favorite hotel I used 2-3 weekends a month. The carryover staff is amazing, its not their fault Windams policies are a deal breaker.

I've stayed here before and it is priced well, plus you can get a free breakfast and coffee/tea from 6-9 AM. I just take $20 off the room rate and factor that in for the breakfast, since these days that's what your paying on average at a restaurant including a tip. They are in the process of renovations since Baymont by Wyndham took over the property. They did a good job of patching up the parking lot as well. Close to plenty of shopping and restaurants, yet far enough away from the Indianapolis traffic. I'll stay here again on future trips.

Pros: Hotel was easy to find, check in was simple, room was clean, and front desk people were friendly. Cons: Mattress was too worn. Had to place a pillow under my hip to sleep on either side. Hallway was noisy at 9:30am in morning and the cleaning staff were also talking & laughing loudly in hallway. I had previously attended a concert the night before and did not get into late and needed a late check out, but with all the noisy in the hallway I could not sleep and ended up leaving at hotel early.

Good evening until the very loud rap music started in room next to mine. Called front desk who asked them to turn it down. They did for 2 minutes. Called front desk again. They came to room again. We found out on our way in that Baymont just took over the property a week ago. I can say GARY at the front desk was incredibly welcoming and genuine, none of this fake corporate pleasantries but genuinely a nice guy. Took great care of us and took his time checking us in.
Since it’s only been a week renovations we still ongoing but they are definitely cleaning up the place nicely!

When I made the reservation, it did not tell me the Hotel was being remodeled From a quality Inn to a Baymont. There was no elevator and no mention of that on the reservation. It was a non-smoking facility but there was a smoke smell on the second floor from one of the rooms. The breakfast Area was being redone so Fortunately, the meeting room upstairs had a continental breakfast available. It was nice that it was pet friendly. I did review my bill and was charged $80 on Wednesday and Thursday, but on Friday, was charged $100. I feel I should have been charged $80 since not all of the amenities were available.
