Overall experience was really terrible. Every hour new problem arises and the solution time was almost 20-30mins. Out of 20hours stay time, 3-4 hours got wasted in getting things resolved like hot water issue, ports not working, shower not working, no towels and water bottles on time. Even during checkout nobody picked the call for baggage. I would not recommend this property to anyone. Manager was kind but still most of the stay period wasted in getting issues resolved.
Food is also costly as compared to the services provided. Never felt like a 5 star stay.

Needed more time to check-in than i lm used to. Breakfast buffet was a zoo. The guest ettitquette for a 5 star establisment was laughable. Some guy touched a bread with his bare hands and then decided not to take it and left it there for others. Even though tongs were present. Others were cutting in front of me or invading personal space like they hadnt eaten for days and they were starving.

The property is located at a great spot. It's quite close to Delhi and there is ample greenery nearby. The rooms are big and spacious and the view is great. There is also a complimentary Pottery class they provide and the swimming pool also has a great view.

But they don't have sound proof walls, and don't allow you to bring in Personal speakers. Also they prohibit outside food/drinks, we were stopped at the gate and it took a bit of convincing to let them allow us. This is the first time i saw such a thing at a supposedly 5 star hotel. I have only seen such policies at cheap hotels.

Check-in was smooth, but we had to change rooms multiple times (we booked two rooms) due to a strong paint smell. The breakfast options were quite limited. Despite being advertised as a 5-star property, it felt more like a 3.5-star experience. The hotel needs significant updates.

We went from US to India for a week. I booked this place as it had good reviews. This is one of the best places in Surajkund but not the best. Place was okay but staff was very courteous about anything we needed. Breakfast was very good. This is a four star hotel. It’s not Taj it’s Vivanta by Taj😊. They had us a room on smoking floor and we had 2 kids. Floors in our room were sticky as the building was pretty old. Some areas were renovated and new like the lobby and some very old. Our safe got locked and SURMESH the guy who addressed every situation was awesome. He was always there with a smile on his face. He was so humble and respectful. We stayed for 4 nights and it was a comfortable experience. Overall a good time.

This is the nicest hotel for the price-range in all of Delhi. A huge pool with views, access to the spa and excellent restaurant.
Immaculately clean and beautiful lobbies and gardens, this is the perfect hotel to escape the crazy business of the city. It's a little bit further out, but still only £5 in an uber to the centre (25-30 mins) and £8 to the airport. This also makes it a very peaceful and tranquil haven.

Recommend without hesitation.

Lovely hotel, but needs more attention to cleaning in particular bathrooms. I stopped in 2 different rooms and both in need of updating and deep cleaning. Suggest changing the shower plumbing as current one is too old and doesn't work properly.

Excellent property with great staff. We were upgraded to a very nice room which made the stay so much more pleasant. Staff members were excellent, polite and genuinely willing to to help and make the stay memorable. If you are visiting the Surajkund International Crafts Mela, this is the best place to do it as you can walk to the fair.

Excellent property if you want to stay near Faridabad.
The staff and service was beyond awesome.

The hotel is very well designed with Indian touches and very practical.

We stayed in 3 separate rooms during our stay. First room was a King bed room which was perfect for 2 occupants. We switched to a two bed room. The beds were extremely small. We switched back to a different king bed room on a different room and the room seemed to be under construction. The bathroom was unfinished/poorly finihsed. The bathtub was broken and had to be fixed while we waited. Overall the rooms are large and well designed and quiet.

The morning breakfast was incredible!!

I had a sprained ankle during the stay and the staff generously offered me help and aid to ease the pain.

Overall the experience was great due to the staff, service, common amenities (play room, gym, pool, restaurant, spa) breakfast and room size.

I stayed at Vivanta about 7 years ago and it was fantastic - beautiful, clean, great serivce. But on this most recent visit, the room looked a bit old and worn. The floors were not very clean, and there was a slight sewer smell in the watercloset and shower. This was in a Premium Room.

Not a big deal since I was only there for one night, but it isn't what I remember.

The property is beautiful. But the room service and housekeeping tend to suffer if the property has an event going on. I experienced it first-hand. Sought help from the housekeeping staff two days before check-in for a service and was assured that it would be done. Repeated my request on arrival and then on the day I needed the assistance (which is not part of the room amenities). The staff kept me waiting till the last moment, did not take my calls. Finally, someone who was not a professional was sent to my room at the eleventh hour. Very disappointed and found the guest services not up to Tata Group standards

The staff was rude and blamed everything on the hotel being over booked

- I had booked twins beds, they gave me a king bed.
- they gave me a smoking room and didn’t inform me. When I went to my room I realized the room was smoking because I have asthma and smoke doesn’t work with me. They said j would have to wait 45 mins for the rooms to be ready

Very nice location near to Surajkund. The dining facilities are excellent, including the famous Paranda restaurant. Staff very polite and courteous. The rooms are spacious compared to some of its more modern peers in 5-star category, but in urgent need of investment to upgrade the technology elements. There were 2 back-to-back wedding events during my stay, and event crowd management was lacking which ended up inconveniencing the resident guests!

This property cannot be rated as a five star hotel. It barely meets a 3.5 star as per Australian standards. The fundamental issue is that the infrastructure of the property needs to be massively upgraded to meet a five star standard. The staff are making an effort to keep the property clean however things like scratched floors and degraded basins and floor edges cannot be attributed to the staff effort.
Our room was very dusty with the curtains torn and full of dust. We sought to check out early but the hotel refused which made us feel trapped in the hotel. Everything about the hotel is 3 star and I am very disappointed that Expedia has it as a 5 Star hotel. This is very misleading for the customer.

*A very comfortable stay , very hospital staff , always available . As there is room for improvement , bathrooms and some places can be more clean . The room baths were smelling and HOUSE KEEPING staff needs lot of education , they were non performers . Lot needs to be done on ENVIRONMENT . The entire DELHI is engulfed in horrible SMOG and was astonished to see inner garden having MASHALS BURNING all the days of stay . Non stop marriages were taking place which were a nuisance . One marriage were playing non stop DHOL [ local drummers ] which were piercing through the ears compounding to already existing NOISE POLLUTION .

Being in close proximity to Delhi, it was an ideal destination under the present circumstances. Property was following covid protocols, staff asking guest to wear mask near the buffet spread which was a good way to try and curb the infection. Rooms were of a good size and comfortable. Food at Oasis was good though a little expensive. Over all I would rate the property 4 out of 5.

This stay was such a disappointment to what we experienced when we stayed 5 years ago. We had been staying at a 3 start in Delhi Aerocity (Ibis) and planned a 2 day stay at Vivanta Faridibad while visiting some friends. Even though the star rating was there, it pales in comparison to what we left at the 3 star hotel. The customer service was pitiful. There was a pervasive sewage odor that would come and go throughout the hotel and our room. When arriving to our 1st room (which was requested non-smoking) someone had clearly been smoking in it. The room was changed to a less offensive one. In the middle of the night, the sewage smell woke us up from sleep. When we told the staff about it in the AM they sent someone to spray room freshener. Only a temporary fix. The spa was a disappointment. My wife’s masseuse wasn’t even present at her scheduled time. She had to ask to use the steam sauna. We knew what we to expect with the spa experience from our last visit and this was NOT up to par. It seemed like no one really cared that we/customers were there nor eager to provide a service.
The hotel itself was in disrepair. Carpets shredded and wooden floors mared/damaged. On check out 4 employees/door men watched me struggle with all of our luggage out to the car. Not ONE person offered to assist me.
NEVER staying here, again! Vivanta Faridibad should be a 2 star. We went back to Ibis. At least it was clean, good smelling, and employees were helpful/happy.

Stayed here for a couple of nights on a business visit. Property is slightly old and it shows in some places, though the place is generally clean and comfortable. Food and service were generally good, though the pricing is slightly on the higher side. I had a small issue having been charged full price for a \"small portion\" of a particular dish, which the manager sorted out more or less to my satisfaction. Otheriwse, a decent option for the area and at the price.

Stayed for work. The hotel is located in city outskirts and hence not a great location if you want to wander outside. But good for business stays, specially if the work is in faridabad or Delhi.

Nice property, friendly staff, excellent breakfast. Nice rooms, got upgraded to balcony room. Little bit problem with maintenance. We had two balcony rooms. Few bulbs were fused in both rooms. Head rain shower was blocked in one of the rooms. Toilet light was not working in the other one. Balcony beds were full of stains without bedsheets. Nice spa and pool area. Polite and helpful staff, always ready to help you. If you skip those maintenance issues, God place to stay for couple of days.

Taj was Taj. Beautiful, luxurious and sumptuous. Surajkund's only attraction. The hotel was filled to capacity, and the restaurant was very busy at breakfast time. It wasn't as crowded at dinner, yet lively. However, the food was not very impressive. Out of the big spread, only a few things were good. The spa was gorgeous.
A special thanks to Mr Rajendra at the Oasis. He covered up for the many small things the overworked staff forgot.
There were monkeys in the pool, early morning. I decided not to take my baby to the water. The kids pool was closed for maintenance.
The rooms were good, but not toddler-proof.

Fantastic hotel. the room layout is outstanding!

Fantastic hote, the staff are wonderful.

I loved the layout of the room, the feng shui of the room was perfect.

I travel a lot and stay at a few hotels but this hotel is definately in the top five.
