We have stayed here before, so knew what to expect, and we will stay here again. Rooms are big and clean, staff is courteous, breakfast has a wide spread and location is convenient close to the highway so you avoid city traffic. Would love to see some improvement in shower experience during next stay. Overall excellent experience

This means no pool and the gym was outdoors (covered). But this meant it was exposed to the pollution and construction dust
But the staff are great and the rooms are comfortable
Pay the money to get a great breakfast everyday but pay an Indian SIM as the WiFi is so 2000’s

The hotel is very tired and requires an upgrade, evident with the wear and tear on room doors, the wall coverings on the levels where the rooms were and the carpets. The rooms, the lobby and the cafe were all presentable. The cafe staff were extremely welcoming but we did have to do without coffee a few mornings as the machine had broken. Also frustrating was the fact that we had to return several times to reception to activate the room access cards as they did not work on arrival at the room. We had booked two rooms and while the one my mum and I shared was comfortable, my sisters room was very noisy (she was at the end room on a corner). She thought that there was a door from her room to outside that had been locked but she could hear the traffic, dogs fighting which meant she did not sleep very well. We did not make use of the pool or facilities as they were being renovated which had not been advised prior to our stay.

Oh the places you will go

Rooms need an upgrade, staff is friendly and do their best at all times even though we were at a peak wedding season. Cleanliness can be improved. Food is value for money but needs support eg sambar is tasty but not served hot. Ditoo idlis at breakfast buffet.

Front desk staff uncooperative. Access to rooms is through a passage where other guests are eating/ drinking, partying. Its terrible to find way through. The toilet do not have ventilation so smells. Hotel is dumping garbage across fence which can be seen from top floors and it looks uncivilized. My iPhone was missing on 27 Nov and I was told by Duty Manager, Front desk staff said its not found. I traced the iPhone using a app and it was found with hotel staff. It moved from 300 m to 1 km from Hotel over night that can be seen from app-support. I should have approached police and filed a case on hotel. Many young people look stressed out and do not smile at customer and uncooperative. Internet speed is poor, slow. This is against hospitality industry basic ethics. Overall I had a terrible experience.I would like to request part refund. This feedback is given for improvement and not other purpose, no revenge.

This hotel is an exceptional choice for business travelers. The property is huge. The rooms are large and the dining is great. What makes it wonderful however is the staff there.
They are so helpful and eager to serve. Yogesh and Chetan were both great with their help, whether it was with the luggage or restocking the rooms with water. I also want to give a shout-out to Girish, the manager. he was very helpful. I would recommend going for premier room ( NOt deluxe) I also suggest you try to book directly with the hotel. The rates may be better.

I made a mistake of booking this hotel. Though the staff was courteous they lacked agility. The service at the restaurant was poor. Check in experience was bad as I was made to wait nearly 10 mins. Too many questions asked for having booked a room on double occupancy. Overall I am done with this property.

Stayed here for 5 Nights ( premier room with Bfast Room 1301).
So far the best and most affordable 5 star hotel to stay. I was with my girlfriend and there was no hindrance or any privacy issue ever. Check in And concierge was smooth.
Rooms are spacious, fresh and bathroom and bathtub are clean. Every other amenity is renewed every day without disturbance. House keeping is as non intrusive as it can get.
Breakfast spread is quite good , gets crowdy on weekend still the service is fast and the boulevard is nicely themed and spacious.
The best part of this hotel is its staff, everybody remembered our preferences and identified us every time we would visit lobby or restaurant. Even my “ginger Tea” specially made for me was everyday remembered by the steward Aarif, very courtacious guy. Valet are fast, dont make you wait much.
Orchid oozes luxury with homely feeling. Only place to improve is A la Carte Menu, the taste is mediocre and why use that excessive Rose water on biryani ? Please refrain.
5/5 for the sake of ratings . :) thank you orchid for wonderful stay.

No In-room.service after 7pm even for basic required things. This was not informed while booking. The staff was not at all cooperative and had very rude behaviour with senior citizens. Restaurant did not have al-carta menu and they forced us to take up buffet only. Overall it was a pathetic experience. And we made a fatal mistake by selecting this hotel.

Worst hotel experience ever

The first time I entered the room, the toilet have the chewing gum left by previous guest. The entire room is run down, the path to the gym is smelly and uncomfortable. Breakfast choice is limited.

Luckily, this hotel have a group of friendly staff.

Uncomfortable, stressful and disappointing

This is among the unfortunate hotel stays I have had.
1) The entrance road to the hotel is completely damaged and I am surprised that a hotel that calls itself \"5 star ecotel\" has not got it repaired.
2) On entering, there was no one at the entrance to guide us where to park our car.
3) When we arrived to check in, the reception staff told us that there was no booking in my name. They had mixed up my last name with that of someone who shares my name. This led to a long wait.
4) It seems that there was a lot of inefficiency in the reception counters. The guest next to us was exasperated and was threatening to \"call the corporator\" [This was one thing that made us smile].
5) Finally, after the confusion was cleared up, we were given our room number and left on our own. Now, the hotel is designed in a slightly confusing manner and we could not locate the section where our room was located. After a few minutes of walking around, we came back to reception and they finally had the courtesy to ask one of their staff to guide us.
6) In the room, we realised that the hotel was really noisy with poor sound proofing. There was a group of young people, probably out on a company tour, who were sitting together in the lobby and speaking loudly until late at night.
If you need a hotel for a quiet and restful stay, I would recommend that you avoid Orchid. Holiday Inn, part of a respectable international chain of hotels, far more comfortable, is a few hundred metres away.

The rooms here are really good! But the service is really poor.
The only competent people in the entire hotel are 2-3 front desk staff and 2-3 house keeping staff and the person that greets you at the door with the biggest most genuine smile I have seen in the entire hotel. Everyone else has an air to them which says I'm doing you a favor.
1. I had prepaid for my entire stay (9 nights) and despite this the Hotel asked me to pay a deposit when I checked in so that my charges there can be posted on the room. Otherwise, they treat you like you'll run away without paying and have you pay for each and everything then and there. This was done for me but not my colleagues who booked through a different website and had not prepaid for the hotel.
2. The people who serve and get you a place in the restaurant Boulevard have not once done anything right. It is a tussle everyday to get anything. Not a single smile or wish good morning during my entire stay there. Plus the food is below average (definitely not worth the money being charged). In addition, my first night there, the waiter made a mistake and said the food bill can be charged to my room, but then because of this hotel's strange policy, realized he couldn't and he made his way at 11 in the night to my room to have this bill settled.

Despite all this, I will still vouch for the rooms, they are spacious, clean and comfortable.

P.S The reply to this will be a copy paste from other reviews, and I doubt there be any improvements

They say they are five star category, but nothing matches the same. Bathroom needs renovations as faucet of basin water flows at the edge of sink which makes difficult to wash your hand. Also many fittings used to come out. Room cleaning - every time we had to remind regarding the towels and hand towels or floor mat. Staff at reception very rude and ya make sure you keep the recording of the talk you have with this staff as they change their statement. Staff totally not helping and courteous except for the gate entrance and security.

The hotel staff insisted on Address proof for everyone including a 9 year old traveling with us. Even Pan Card for an adult was not accepted as an I’d proof. Proximity to Expressway is a plus for Mumbaikars

I was pleasantly surprised by the overall ambience, the comfort & modernity of the room.
The staff were extremely cordial and helpful. The breakfast buffet was a good spread to cater to different tastes. All in all a pleasant experience I hope to repeat and recommend.

Rooms are spacious in Premier Room, but cleanliness is a concern as bathroom and bedroom found unclean after checkin, food menu is not available in the room, extentions are not marked in the phone and not even mentioned in any booklet. Minbar unavailable, no iron in the room, no laundry bag . Minimum facility not available.
