In general, the hotel was great, nice service and hosting, especially from the hotel manager. The rooms were okay for a short stay. However, the bathroom had issues : water backflow in the shower when neigbours flushes their toilet, ants in the shower. Parking was included. Thus, we appreciated the stay during the fall time. I had a wonderful stay at Scala Dei Turchi Resort. It’s just a short walk to the beach, parking was easy, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were spotless, the water pressure in the shower was excellent, and everything worked perfectly — I had no issues at all. A relaxing and hassle-free experience, I’d definitely stay here again.

We chose this hotel because it listed air conditioning in the unit. The air was only in the living room and not in the bedroom. It was 95 degrees Fahrenheit when arrived to be told nothing they could do to accommodate except a fan which we didn’t use because our electricity shut off just after check in. Though they were able to restart the entire building we were not comfortable with the property condition to stay and risk more problems and we left within 20 minutes after arriving. Don’t stay here if you need functioning air conditioning or electricity. The staff was very unhelpful.

The staff said we are prepaid a non refundable amount and could not assist us. We booked with Expedia and they also could not assist us when we told them of our problem.

Terrific Experience at this Resort

We were a bit dubious about this spot, based on the online photos, but it turned out to be absolutely wonderful. The facility is spotless, and gorgeously landscaped. The breakfast offerings are a bit slight, but serviceable. The staff are terrific--always extremely helpful, and happy to go the extra mile, plus English is spoken very well by most. The location, just across the street from the stairway down to the beach, where you find yourself literally adjacent to the remarkable Turkish Steps. After the level of public trash visible across Sicily, this resort was especially welcome in its obvious attention to cleanliness and maintenance.

The hotel is misnamed as a ‘resort’. It looks and has a tired feel. The linens were scratchy and the bedspreads dated. You have to pay extra for a pool towel. To buy anything at the bar, you have to go to reception to pay. It did not feel like we were in a resort!!

Four stars is a bit exagerated for this place, the hotel was ok but the wi fi did not work in the room and very badly at reception. Now days, I expect internet to work in the room I am renting. My teenage daughter stayed alone late at night in the reception area with smokers taking a drink so that she could text her boyfdriend and that did not make me feel very comfortable.

We wanted to visit Agrigento and the temples but staying close to the water was more appealing to us. Scala dei Turchi resort was an excellent choice for us. Our room was very clean, bright, and spacious. It is a very short walk down to a beautiful beach. We were still close enough to visit Agrigento and the temples.

Great location close to the Turkish steps, not a lot else in area but close to Agrigento. Resort was modern, felt freshly renovated or built, and onsite bar and restaurant were of good quality. Few teething problems with shower and air con but generally fine for overnight stay.

The Scala dei Turchi resort is in a great location to walk (5minutes) to the Scala dei Turchi and an easy 10 minute drive to the Valley of the Temples at Agrigento. The room was very clean however we found it very sparse. There was a kitchenette however there was not a single piece of equipment to enable use of it, not even a coffee cup. We were disappointed that we could not even make ourselves a coffee in the room. However we did eat at the restaurant at the hotel both nights and the staff were fantastic, catering to my husbands need for gluten free food. This was also the case for breakfast where they again catered very well to his needs. We really appreciated that a lot. It was a good place to stay for a couple of nights to see the sights in the area.

The rooms are immaculate, staff very helpful and nice. Dinner very nice. Beside a very nice beach and short driving distance to the Valley of the Temples. Air conditioning works well. The only minor negative is intermittent wifi. Nice pool also.

Nice with ONE BIG MISS!

Would have been the perfect resort, if the air conditioning unit was in the right place. In a 2 bedroom suite, the AC was ONLY in the living room, forcing us to move the mattresses from the bedroom to the living room floor. Not my idea of a 3 star resort that they want to be. Everything eye was perfect?!

Spent 3 days. The location of the hotel is great and the stuff members were really friendly. They even suggested restaurants for us that were serving extremely delicious food!
The room is ok. basic and correct.
The car park was really useful since it's really hard to find a spot close by
The breakfast was really good (Mediterranean style) so if you like the typical English breakfast then you might be disappointed!

This new hotel was great! The staff and service were excellent. We did have some difficulty finding the hotel as road signage brought our attention to the beach, which has the same name as the hotel. We appreciated the on-sight bar and restaurant, as there's not much available around the hotel. It was a nice stay.

We stopped at this place instead of staying at Agrigento which was a good choice at the end because we could relax here. The scalla dei turchi is right down at the beach so that was perfect. This place is very new so they are probably still working on things but we were missing some things in the room like a curtain on a window where people could see inside and maybe some kind of shampoo not only the body soap which was there also as a hand soap. Stuff in the little bar was very nice, receptionist didnt really know what she was doing. Overall it was fine. Nice place but need a lot of work to do.

Nice place, friendly staff, very close to the beautiful beach and Turkish stairs, with its own restaurant and bar as well as restaurants and a bar/kiosk close by- one of which was on the beach with the stairs in the background. Lovely little holiday spot. Rooms have comfortable beds, strange decoration with a massive, empty echoing front room that could have had a comfortable couch and nice lighting but instead had a huge wardrobe and tiny table and chairs. Otherwise nice and inexpensive.

Jalousien mit Paneelen welche als Tür fungierte war kaputt. Weshalb man diese einfach auseinander drücken konnte und bei uns ins Zimmer sogar reingespickt worden ist. Haben uns ziemlich unwohl gefühlt und das der Rezeption auch so mitgeteilt dass hat diese aber nicht interessiert.

Struttura bella, pulita, accogliente e finisce lì. L'arredamento dell'appartamento molto minimal, nella seconda stanza solo un letto e una sedia, zero armadio. Ogni mattina dopo le pulizie ci lasciavano 3 piccoli doccia schiuma per 3 persone, ridicoli. Mezza pensione molto deludente, propongono un primo e un secondo o di pesce o di carne e un dolce oppure la frutta, l'acqua non è compresa. In poche parole mangi ciò che loro decidono. Impossibile cambiare la cena con il pranzo. Già sapevo che non c'era animazione, ma neanche un minimo di intrattenimento NO, senbra di stare in una casa di cura con la piscina, per altro molto bella. Bar deludente, solo alcolici e gelati, se vuoi fare uno stuzzichino, te lo porti da casa. Di fronte al bar c'è una bellissima zona con alberi tavoli e sedie, peccato che siano sempre pieni di escrementi di uccelli. Colazione, anche quella minimal, per esempio i cornetti erano ripieni al pensiero di nutella, pistacchio ecc. Nonostante fossi in mezza pensione, per la cena del 14 Agosto ( per la quale ho ricevuto pure l'invito) mi hanno chiesto 25 € a persona in più, che naturalmente non ho pagato. È evidente che la struttura è votata al risparmio più assoluto.

Ottima struttura per soggiornare qualche giorno e godersi la bellezza della scala dei turchi, località che dista pochi minuti a piedi. semplicemente attraversando la strada si può scendere in spiaggia e prendere a noleggio ombrellone e sdraio del lido \"Lido scala dei turchi\"(Adatto ai bambini) oppure si può prenotare tramite la reception un lido molto bello \"lounge Beach\" (Meno adatto ai bambini) con possibilità di trasporto incluso con un APE TAXI molto comodo.
La struttura è dotata di piscina molto curata adatta anche ai bambini.
Abbiamo mangiato a pranzo al ristorante interno alla struttura, ottimi piatti.

Problemi: personale non all altezza nella sala per colazione e ristorante. Direttore d sala supponente e poco garbato.
Receptionists che non hanno presente l organizzazione della struttura.
La cucina propone buone portate ma fa scegliere due portate su tre proposte e il solito cannolo siciliano tutte le sere.
Il locale si presta praticamente ogni sera sd eventi quali matrimoni battesimi e altro condiziknando i servizi degli ospiti sia inibendo uso piscina xhe pietanze poco curate.
Non scegliere le stanze al piano basso purché ci si ritrova in un seminterrato sena finestre. Da un 4 stelle in Italia si pretende di più. Soprattutto la non riproposizione di avanzi del giornk prima a colazione (vedi frutta).
Questo è un tre stelle.

Personnel qui ne se montre pas professionnelle et qui manque d’amabilité
Points négatifs : Logé dans les chambres du bas, nous n’avions aucun réseau et n’arrivions pas à capter la wifi.
Aucunes serviettes de prêté pour la piscine, prévoyez vos serviettes ..
Positif ! : Petit déjeuner du matin au top : fruits, croissants à la crème de différents parfums,
salés : jambon, fromages, tomates .. idéal pour petit sandwich (brunch américain) il y’en a pour tout les goûts et c’est frais 👍

Hotel bien situé par rapport à la plage du même nom et à quelques kilomètres de la vallée des temples. Sinon le personnel est agréable. Attention à la chambre que vous choisissez, la nôtre etait sans vue, donc sans fenêtre, juste une porte fenêtre qui donne sur une allée de service. Sinon belle petite piscine mais pas vraiment de vie ni d'animation dans ce lieu.

Varför 4 stjärnor??

Detta var långt ifrån ett 4-stjärnigt hotell. Bed bugs, ac nådde inte till sovrummet. Ofräsch toalett. Personalen var inte så trevlig varken vid frukost eller i receptionen.

Resort da favola in un posto magnifico

Ottima struttura. Camera Deluxe spaziosa e ben arredata, da preferire in quanto al primo piano e dotata di 2 balconi. Da segnalare per le ottime pulizie della camera con cambio lenzuola ogni 2 giorni e federe cuscini ogni giorno. Colazione abbondante sia dolce che salata e di ottima qualità. Veramente una struttura tenuta e gestita benissimo. Bellissimo resort per una vacanza in tutta pace e tranquillità. Peccato per alcuni ospiti stranieri alquanto maleducati, ma questo non è colpa della struttura. Forse ci vorrebbe maggior controllo nell'area piscina per tenere tranquilli ospiti un pò troppo chiassosi.Wi-fi limitato.

Hôtel mais pas Resort

Hotel agréable mais qui par la qualité de ses services ne peut en aucun cas être appelé \"RESORT\".
Au niveau touristique et géographique il est très bien placé.
Par contre il faut absolument éviter la chambre de base qui est dans le sous sol et sans aucune décoration.
Nous avions l’impression de dormir dans notre garage.

Posizione incantevole , ma pessima gestione.

A due passi da un posto incantevole struttura bella e confortevole. Non va bene il pranzo servito all'esterno a 40 gradi, meglio dentro con aria condizionata. Personale inesperto e troppo invisibile. Pulizia camere alle 15 non è concepibile, la piscina a secondo giorno era troppo sporca. Credo che sia una proprietà giovane che debba ancora imparare Tanto. Per 200 euro al giorno ci si aspetta di più. Inoltre viene venduto come resort con spa ma la spa non c'è. Un servizio massaggi per appuntamento non è spa. Per expedia, invece, segnalo di verificare meglio le proposte inserite poiché compromettere la vostra affidabilità.

Resort curato e con una posizione eccellente per visitare la scala dei turchi.
Camere pulite e molto spaziose.
Personale cortese e disponibile.
Possibilità di parcheggiare all’interno del resort.
Assolutamente consigliato.

Siamo una coppia normodotati, alla quale è stata assegnata, senza averne data comunicazione una stanza con bagno x disabili.
Alle nostre lamentele hanno risposto, con tono alquanto scortese che ci avevano dato, senza chiedere alcuna integrazione una stanza più grande che quindi non dovevamo lamentarci degli inconvenienti patiti,
La risposta non ci soddisfa x nulla, non ci sembra questo il modo di fare buon turismo.
La struttura nel complesso non è brutta, ma unpoasettica

Location ideale per relax

Struttura molto carina a due passi da Scala dei Turchi. Ottimo il parcheggio interno. Le camere sono pulite e molto luminose , dotate di tutti i comfort. Un punto in meno alla colazione che potrebbe essere migliorata. Per il resto giudizio molto positivo.
