This was my fifth stay at the Best Western in Easton. I was sad to discover that since my last visit several months ago, the hotel has started using very strong scented products for cleaning and/or air freshening. I’ve kept coming back because I love the rooms, the staff, the hot breakfast and free bottles of water. The lobby is perfect for me: a small business area, snack shop, seating, tastefully decorated. But I have asthma. Seriously, I thought I’d found a place I could breathe in. But this time, from the lobby to the elevator, to the hall, and (darn) in the room, the scent was really strong. In the room, I sat for about 15 minutes before breathing became uncomfortable. So I grabbed a damp washcloth and scrubbed the table and nightstand until the washcloth stank. It helped, but even still, when I got home and unpacked, my pajamas were saturated with this scent. Even at breakfast, I happened to be standing at the coffee counter when staff came through and wiped down. That same perfume. Guys, please please please go back to the cleaning products you used before, or at least block off a section of rooms that are neutrally scented. I promise it’s not just me. This new stuff is toxic.

Saw a bug crawling on the wall in my room. Not sure what kind. And I am almost certain I caught a contact high from the people next door to me. The weed smell was ridiculously strong. Felt area was safe. Parking easy and well lit. Room was clean. I don’t eat the breakfast but they have a good variety. Kudos for the upgrade to the tv service in the room. They now have streaming service (stayed there previously and tv only offered Direct TV which imo is not very good). My only complaint is that they have 1star pillows. If you can bring your own.
There was a lot of noise in the room above mine they were not very considerate.

This hotel takes you back in time. Everything is run-down . Furniture and carpet from the 70's, stained and disgusting cover, mattress sagging in the middle,curtain shower from the movie Psycho. Please,don't spend your money in this place. Run as fast as you can!

The place has seen better days, cloudy pool, hot tub had an oily film on it, food was bad, bagels old, hot chocolate watery, furniture is old and has scratches, mold in the bathroom. First room didn’t have a working ac so we had to move to another room. The staff was nice. No pens or pads in the room, had to go get one in the front desk.

The location is convenient to Easton and the price fair. But rooms need to be aired out. The \"complimentary breakfast\" is simply awful (for any international traveler used to European or Asian accommodations).

Service surpasses Hilton

We had absolutely the Best Service We have had in many Years. There was on glitch. the Desk Lamp worked the first night then did not. I asked the Housekeeper for a new bulb but that did resolve the issue. It was on a weekend and no Maintenance Staff on Duty at the time I reported it.

I was a bit frustrated as we weren’t able to enjoy the pool or hot tub. The hot tub was temporarily closed (we stayed for two nights) and the pool appeared unclean and had a weird oily film on it. The room was fine. The cleanliness of it could have been better. There was dried red sauce on the counter top and the a general odor in the room didn’t make you think that it was clean. The front desk was super nice and the breakfast was fine. We just usually enjoy the pool and hot tub as part of our vacation. I can see that it’s been like that for a while when reviewing reviews on trip advisor. It did not have those reviews when I booked it otherwise I’d probably done someplace else.

I think the only thing that would make the stay a little more enjoyable (for some) would be updated TVs- smart TVs only because the channels are limited. Other then that the hotel is very nice, I would recommend it.

Fine stay, clean enough, spacious enough. Complained that the fridge was broken. Staff was completely unconcerned. Asked for a repair. Nope. Asked for a swap. Nope. Asked for extra ice buckets. Nope. Their best was to offer me some garbage bags that I could fill with ice to keep things cool.

Are you serious? How do people like this keep jobs in the service industry?

BTW, people have complained about the fridges in the past, so if the owner responds with that nonsense \"Thank you for your feedback! We're improving\" line you can tell for sure they're full of it.

Go to the Holiday Inn next door.

The AC did not work in our room the first night and we were told there was nothing that could be done. It was so hot and uncomfortable. We weren’t even offered an apology. They did move us the next day, but no refund or compensation was offered, and mostly, there was no apology.

The sign in the front door states that it is a smoke/vape-free property, but a sitting area next to the front door where smokers gather emits a disgusting smell from the cigarettes in a cig disposal container nearby. The sofa and chair in the suite is very uncomfortable. I didn’t like that the golf channel and MLB channel were not in the tv channel lineup. We will probably not stay here again.

The day I was due to check-in my sister died. I understand your policy about cancellations, but no one offered me any sort of a deal. Oh well, after staying at this specific hotel atleast 5 or 6 separate occasions, I suppose I will need to find other accomidations for my future stays in Easom, MD

The hotel room and dining area were very clean, the room did smell a little musty. Breakfast was good, especially the fresh fruit. The refrigerator in our room did not work. The front desk said the would need to talk to the manager in the morning. That didn't take care of the problem in a timely manner. Then the second night the smoke detector started beeping right after we fell asleep. Instead of them getting a new battery for it, we had to pack everything up and move to a different room! The bed in the new room was definitely not a king size bed like our original room. We were very disappointed.
We had stayed at this property a few years ago and had a wonderful experience and that's why we chose it.

The rooms are clean. We did need to make a room change due to the bottom sheet of one of our beds had a very large yellow stain.
The front desk agent was helpful.
They do have items missing in some rooms. Our family members didn't have an iron. When we switched rooms we were then missing the ironing board. Their breakfast was good. Over all they were an average hotel. Could be better with improvements.

Surprisingly comfortable and clean, good breakfast

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this Best Western. It was impeccably clean, the room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast buffet was top-notch. The decor of the room was a little drab -- but it's a chain, what can you do? This room was far more comfortable than many more expensive boutique hotels I've stayed in in the past.

Stellar service and all around great place to stay

Check-in was quick and friendly. The hotel and grounds were clean and up-to-date. Breakfast had a nice amount of choices. All the staff I greeted were very courteous. For the price, this place was top notch! Will dfntly keep in mind if I'm in the area.
