Avoid if you have a choice.

The breakfast was the absolute worst I’ve had in all my stay in hotels all over the world. Coffee was tasteless, food was barely replenished and badly cooked, as if in a rush. After the first day’s breakfast that we paid for during the stay, we decided to forfeit the rest of the breakfasts at the hotel during the stay. Hotel has zero facilities and not helped by the fact that the adjoining shopping centre is a near deserted building. Never would I want to consider staying here again.

1) The room had no study chair when there was a desk (I had to ask for it)
2) when I drew the curtains to get the view of the city, view was beautiful but the ledge and the floor had so much dust and black spotted things that I had to call house keeping to clean the room thoroughly.
3) bed linens were stained with black and brown stains and had to ask them change sheets thrice. Even with the changed linens, bedsheet still had stains.
4) unable to sleep as I felt things biting on my skin throughout night. The next day, I checked the linens again and under the linens and saw black stuff/dots under the bed linens.
5) I could hear the people chattering from the room next door very clearly and they were chatting and laughing till about 5am in the morn.
6) the aircon appears to be very warm and was unable to bring it to lower temperature and was making clicking sounds.
- Staff has been helpful by giving a portable air conditioner, however, it was noisier than the room’s air con.
7) towels were stained. Hotel staff, has been very very helpful and kind, and changed my bed linens and gave me new clean towels.
However, after house keeping next morning, the refreshed new towels contained stains again.
8) no bath mat. Had to ask.
9) function room was decent. Food provided in function was good.
10) room was really big. A pity it’s not well maintained.
Don’t understand why it’s a 4 star, had a 2 star feels.

bad, wont stay here again

room is very dirty. stains on the carpet, bedsheet, pillow, towel. the previous guest left a comment on the feedback card in the room saying 'used underwear under the blanket'. apparently the hotel doesn't even bother to read the feedback card and put a new one for the next guest. so i guess improvement is not this hotel's goal?
other reviewers have complained about the towel and bedsheet stains but nothing was done although the manager replied improvement will be done. is it just their job to reply this generic answer and go back to doing nothing?
the air conditioner is the room is hot, the air is only blown in one direction, and not circulating around the room. the temperature doesn't go below 21 degrees.
room is not soundproof. i can hear people talking loudly outside, thus have disrupted sleep the whole morning.

The superior rooms are without window. If you click on show details, the print is there, but it is not specify on the main page. Our check in took more than 30 minutes as the hotel staffs could not find the name on the second room reservation, even though we booked two rooms together under one reservation number. We could not understand the English spoken by the hotel staffs. They could barely speak any English.

The stay was not a good experience and worst than expected from the ambience of the lobby or drom the pictures posted on Hotels.com. The room arranged was located at level (3A) and it had a strong odour of cigarette or smoke even though the receptionist confirmed with us that the hotel itself is smoke-FREE. After entering the room, it was filled with unpleasant odour and humidity. On top of that, one of the employees (who was sent to check with the room) was not respectful and he did not show seriousness about the uncomfortable and unsatisfied with the room. In addition, the Wifi was poor as it did not allow other activities except messaging online. The bathroom was poorly design as it was 'FLOODED' everywhere after taking a shower. Besides, the room was old (not renovated) and lack of the soundproof system as we could hear conversations and steps of other guests from next door and the walk way. Since our stay was on Wednesday night, we could hear loud noise and live band music from lower levels.

Overall, I would only recommend this hotel if you are looking for an easy BRT or LRT or bus transportation as it is located at a 3 minutes walking distance from BRT Taman Connaught.

Housekeeping has done a very bad job. The room lock ran out of battery and we have to wait out side our room and wait for about 10-15 mins to enter. When we arrive in the evening, we find NO SOAP & SHAMPOO in the room. The drawers to the sink unit cannot close and keep sliding open. Air-conditioner was not working properly. The service at the concierge is very good and helpful.

Looks nice on the outside but bad on the inside

Stayed in a Superior Room (king bed). Room was really big that you felt it was so empty; another King size bed could easily fit in. Room furniture was ok, but was really old stuff in the bathroom. Wifi was really bad; would say it’s almost impossible to use, also, only 2G speed in the hotel room. The only cafe at lobby for breakfast is a war zone; too many groups of tourist; everyone’s rushing to get food, till the extent of some even tucking in to their food beside the food station while waiting for it to be replenished. Total madness

Bad experience. Stain carpets and no accessories from a basic toothbrush to a disposable slippers is not found.
Catering more to the mainland Chinese crowd. As noisy as it goes with no sound proofing from the corridors to the windowless rooms. Not suitable for the light sleeper.

A Hotel to stay only for convenience

The Hotel is nothing special, the rooms are really old and dirty. The sheets dirty and i wouldn't stay here again.

The only good thing about it is that it is located in front of the MRT. That's it.

Wifi not really good. The walls are like paper as you hear Everything that's happening in the other room next to yours. I couldn't even sleep because the people next door to me were so loud!

Sorry Silka, but you really disappointed me. I am glad I only stayed 1 night.

the first night was not really good, air con was spoilt, no toiletries, the water.drainage wasnt that good.
we made a.complaint the next day and a technician was send right.away to fix.the air conditioning.
the hotel carpark is only the shopping mall carpark and a valet service. the carpark will.be closed after the shopping mall is closed so the guard will refuse entry to the carpark. my boyfriend has to park his car at the valet service for 10 ringgit. if you park in the shopping mall do remember to get complimentary parking from the hotel staff before you leave the hotel

Old room, with hairs everywhere

Old room that needs some major upgrade. They need to renovate and upgrade their room especially toilets. There is mould everywhere at the edges. Towels are not white, but yellowish.
Hot water is not working sometimes, same goes to air-conditioning. I saw long hairs on my bed, and in the toilet. Not sure if they actually changed my bed sheets and clean the toilet properly. It was disgusting

And forget about the RM98 deals on Fave for the basic room (I think it's called deluxe or superior). You will be asked to pay rm30 extra to upgrade because that room type is sold out. LOL. If you check on Agoda, that room type is still available for Rm128. Basically, you're paying the same price even if you through Fave. Silka is just tricking people into buying the coupons and make you pay the extra Rm30 for your stay. Go to Bello&Bella nearby for a much much better stay. Smaller but cleaner rooms & cleaner towel. I've written review before but management doesn't seem to care when I returned for the second stay when I hope they could have improved, but no. LOL

We stayed at the Family Room for 2 nights. The carpet is not clean, a lot of stains, the toilet floor looks dirty and the most disgusting thing is that all the bath towels are very old and have turned grey and some are even torn! The bath towels look more like a bathroom mat. There is unpleasant smell in the room. The room is not sound proof. Can hear the occupants next door talking. s the hotel is situated near to the main road/ highway, it was very noisy. The breakfast was a dissapointment though we only had once.

My husband and I had just traveled for an extensive period and arrived around 9:30pm. So we were tired and eager to see friendly faces. No one greeted us and when I said I was checking in the lady 'helping' didn't speak a word to me until she had to. She was completely rude and condescending.

The room itself was disgusting. there were brown and red stains on the carpet, walls and lamp shades. I wouldn't walk in the room or take a shower with out my flip flops.

What an absolute dump! I wouldn't recommend this hell hole to my worst enemies.

Stuffs like toothbrush, bedroom slippers (mind you, carpet was dirty with cigarette me other stains), teaspoon/stirrers were unavailable. Requested for room to be made since 5am before we left for an outing and when we returned at 3pm, it was still unmade. Review showed that many good place to find food available at the mall beside the hotel but the mall turned out to be almost empty - It's a wonder that it is even in operation.

Would appreciate if the hotel reviews were more honest and up to date. Not everyone enjoy 'surprises'.

My Bf was first time visit KL, I booked the superior king room for a night.Hotel had accommodate my request for a higher floor with good city view and reserve a car park slot as well. Hotel located besides highway, attached with Cheras Central Mall, it's Convenience to go a walk or cinema. Many local good food around, such as Taman Connaught Dim Sum, not by walking distance but easy access by Grab or Uber. Room is spacious and clean, bed is conformble, hotel staffs are courtesy. Check in and out is fast, design of lobby, loft area, room are above average, can tell it's well maintained. Glad that he loves it and wanted to come back again for next trip !

Wifi signal strong ,quick respond when i ask to change the chair in the room which is spoiled , i got silka room with one king bed , got a bathtub which is nice , city light view but is a bit noisy due the room widow is facing the highway road ,i was awake few time due to mat rempit and ambulance siren .(ask for toothbrush and comb,they only privide upon request) car park ticket change at the lobby counter whenever u wanna go out for free parking fee . oh ya ,u can clearly hear the coughing sound from the neighbour room.if u r a light sleeper which awake very easy by sound , suggestion :bring yr ear plug .

Check in was easy enough even though we arrived around 1am. Friendly and helpful staff.
Had read about mixed reviews about the rooms so was hoping to get a better one but was soon disappointed when I saw the condition of the room.
- Cracks on ceiling and cracks on wall.
- Watermark on the wall next to bathroom (Clearly there's leakage somewhere).
- Stains on bed sheets. Though minor but speaks a lot.
- One leg of one of the beds was broken.

If you aren't particular about cleanliness this place is bearable given the attractive price and okay location.

Stay here couple of time. This time the whole stay experience is awful. Overall hygiene of the room is bad. Lots of hair found in the toilet floor. Requested for king size bed and was told they change their room specifications. Didn't try to make customer feel conformable by informing customer to just upgrade if you need king size bed. Room is fulled paid prior to check in and was still requested for deposit.

Would not stay again in future or recommend to friend anymore after this bad experience.
