The room had a rustic feel while still being clean, modern and safe. Hot water everyday with air conditioner. The patio faces a small yard below and wall but you still hear all of the sounds of nature and can see the gorgeous trees and warm rain! The breakfast has a limited menu but delicious every morning! We were able to park on premises without issue every day and At night, someone is there to let you in the locked front entrance. It was a bit quiet during our stay and not a lot going on, but walkable to bars, restaurants and rooftops. If you want a more authentic experience outside of the “Hollywood” vibe of Tulum beach, I recommend this hotel forsure.

We had a great stay at Casa Agape. The rooms were spacious and clean. Location is not great but close to downtown area bars and restaurants within walking distance. It is a bit noisy because of a hostel/karaoke bar across the street and a lot of roosters in the neighborhood. Breakfast was great ( good variety and freshly made) and very convenient as we had a large group ( 7 people) including several teenagers. The only thing was missing is an espresso machine, but we do not find it to be a big problem as there were a lot of coffee shops around. The best part of the stay was the included passes to Casa Maria beach club. The beach club is situated inside the Jaguar Park with a gorgeous beach. It was only a 10 minute drive and we found it convenient to parking since they had valet. The restaurant at the beach club was the best food we had all stay, reasonably priced (cheap compared to other places) and great service. The beach club also has a pool and lots of options for chairs. Everyone had a great time!

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Agape. Hotel is in central Tulum. Staff was very nice and efficient. Hearty (free) breakfast. Very god cocktails at the rooftop restaurant. They have happy hours for local beer and Margaritas. The waitress Bianca was super avcoomofating with our 5-year daughter. Beach access is through the Casa Maria Mexican Grill:/Hotel Diamantek Hotel. Super nice staff there and very good cocktails. We need to get there by taxi or bike. If you use taxi make sure to download the inDrive app. This should save you a bunch of bucks. The Diamentek can get you ride back to Casa Agape for 400 pesos, Need also to pay the entrance fee for the national park on which the beaches are. It was 120 pesos for each adult. It was free for our daughter. There is no entrance fee on Sundays if you go to the beach.

The staff was very accommodating before and during our entire stay. Breakfast was delicious and fresh daily. There was a staff member to open the gate at night, no matter what time (even at 4 am). The location was great- many clubs, food trucks, and pharmacies nearby. The beach club access was nice too (you have to pay to enter the national park but it is free to enter the beach club with free parking and 10% off the menu with your room card). I really appreciated how the front desk always had cold water and that the cleaning staff would refill the vases in our room with filtered water!

Our 2-day stay at this hotel was a mixed bag. On the plus side, the location was fantastic and the room was stunningly beautiful, with a massive and incredibly comfortable bed.

However, the overpriced breakfast experience was a letdown. The coffee was subpar. We were disappointed to find out that the bread had run out, and it took the staff 45 minutes to replenish it. To make matters worse, our order for pancakes took over an hour to arrive, despite the restaurant being empty.

The biggest issue, however, was the noise from a nearby rooster that started crowing around 4 am. Despite using earplugs, it was impossible to get a good night's sleep.

Everything was pretty good, the fan didn't initially work but the staff were helpful in coming in to fix it. However, the fix made it stuck on one speed setting but it wasn't too big of a deal. Cleaning was consistent and good, only odd thing was that they never replaced our towels even when we placed dirty ones on the floor as instructed.

Incredible in every way

This is by far the best hotel I've ever stayed in and it is perfect for any couple looking to explore Tulum and the surrounding area. Firstly, and most importantly, the staff and the room were both incredible. The room surpassed my expectations from the photos and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The location was brilliant, it wasn't too far from the local shops and it was conveniently located close to some great restaurants. The pool was a perfect size for the number of guests, and being a boutique hotel with limited numbers of guests truly made the experience feel special. Tranquil and beautiful. I hope I get the opportunity to come here again!

Only complaints was the Rooster that started to crow at 4:30 in the morning and had to ask to have room made up. But other than that it was in a great location for us, within walking distance to shopping and great restaurants! We would return here again!

Hotel is clean and customer service is good. The issue is the noise. There's a rooster close by that will crow at all hours of the morning. The hotel has an echo so you can hear your neighbors while laying in bed. Hotel is surrounded by other noises from the street which is expected. We didn't expect the rooster or hearing our neighbors talk while laying in bed. I recommend you stay in the hotel zone by the beach. It's actually quieter even with the clubs and hotels in that section.

This is a sweet place to stay. The rooms have a private balcony, or larger space on ground floor, with plants and privacy. My room had a king bed and also a large lounge space in front of the bed. I did a solo trip and really enjoyed my stay. Conveniently located downtown/centre. The room was beautiful and had everything I need (no TV because of the layout but I didn’t need it). Breakfast was included and delicious everyday. The restaurant is currently closed outside of breakfast. Pool area is small but cute. The neighborhood is very, very local feeling. Lots of small spots to eat walking distance. I rented a bike from the front desk for two days, biked to gran cenote one day and to their sister property beach club (included in your stay) which was a nice vibe. I had to walk down a bit to the public beach to get into the water as the beach club’s beach is more rocky at the shore. Overall would definitely stay here again for the price and how helpful the staff was.

Absolutely loved our stay at Casa Agape. Alex at the front desk is incredibly helpful with arranging transportation, providing activity recommendations, and finding great food in the city. Casa Agape is very clean, has great AC, very comfortable beds, warm showers, and has a great overall vibe. We were always greeted at the door when we arrived and the gate to the hotel closes at 10pm - but there is always someone at the front desk to open and welcome you back. The morning breakfast is so yummy - we loved the daily juices and fruits and highly recommend the chilaquiles. We also met the owners, a couple, over breakfast and loved chatting with them. When we are back in Tulúm, we will be back at Casa Agape!

This “hotel” was so bad, it’s almost laughable.

Ants, bugs in the room, “housekeeping” was a joke, no tissue in the rooms. Shower and shower head was covered in calcification (needs a good vinegar soak or something). Sink looked mouldy.

“Pool” was a joke - more like a large bathtub.

Saving grace was the vegan restaurant upstairs. Near food options, and great staff there (not hotel staff).

Hardly ever say any other guests - it was like we had the place to ourselves! We loved lounging on the pool deck in the afternoon (the sun is best then) and only once had another person join us. The breakfast included was light and just the perfect amount - juice of the day, coffee, fresh bread and fruit. The front desk was always willing to help us - with renting bikes, arranging transportation to/from the airport and recommending cenotes.

We took a taxi (for $20) to the Diamente K one day and it was heaven. Such a cool property with a rocky beachfront, a sandy cove and a secluded plunge pool.

I loved my stay at this hotel the service was great.The room didn’t have a tv because there concept is to spend alone time with family or the person you are traveling with which I loved.The bed was amazing I wish I could have took it home lol.And the property location was right near the strip where you could just walk and get a bite to eat or tour the area.The hotel gives you a discount to visit different places we went to Casa Tortuga Cenotes it was amazing we paid $22 and it 2 underground caves and lazy river and 1 big open swim area and you get a group tour guide which was amazing.They have a breakfast cafe called Rossina down the strip which is owned by a lady and her sister that is amazing you have to go try it.Now with something good it’s always something you may not like the it’s a club or bar on the side that’s noisy at night they don’t play music all night but you can hear it even with the windows closed.But I’m definitely going back to this place when I visit Tulum again…..

The room and property was flawless. The food in the rooftop restaurant was amazing as well. It was definitely a five star property. The best part was the location. It's located near a taxi stand, street food trucks, and downtown tulum. Restaurants, bars, and lounges are walking distance. However, when I went in my room the previous occupants left dirty smelly stocks in the bathroom that stunk up the room. The cleaning person could have did a better job inspecting the room before we stayed. The hot water did not work well 2 days in a row while being there. In addition, there was no television in the room which is fine. I would suggest providing a Bluetooth speaker for guest. Lastly, the food, drinks, and hookah was overpriced compared to the surrounding area. Especially the hookah.

We stayed for a week and would recommend for the convenient location and good value. The rooms are bright, comfortable and spacious, great for a few of you sharing. We really enjoyed the breakfast and the variety of healthy options on offer in the restaurant. The reception staff are friendly and use a WhatsApp service which means they’re really responsive and suggested to us some excursions, one of which we ended up going on and enjoying.

Only a few criticisms. First, when we arrived the room was only made up with one bed when we asked for two in the booking. The staff on reception grabbed an extra set of bedding but weren’t apologetic. Also the housekeeping service didn’t show up on one of the days - there was no explanation or apology about this either. The communication could’ve been better about the excursions as well - I had to ask about the tour company and timings after the hotel had already booked the tour for us (would’ve preferred beforehand). The hostel across the road is pretty noisy too but if you’re a deep sleeper or you bring earplugs you’ll have no issues - we slept really well.

The room was beautiful and clean. The hotel overall is okay. The pool area is on the rooftop with no shade. I would recommend to the hotel to get umbrellas, we really wanted to spend more time at the pool but was impossible with the sunlight burning us.

The first night, the A/C in our room wasn't working. The employee at the front desk was arguing with me that it was working. He came to our room 3 times \"to fix it\" with the remote and with no luck. The next day after I told him I couldn't sleep because of the heat, then he decided to bring someone to fix it. I asked for a refund and they provided a complimentary breakfast.

The restaurant at the hotel is okay. The two times we ordered food to our rooms, they messed up the order. The same mistake. We asked for a specific item on the menu and they would bring the opposite. Also, the 2 times with ordered toasted bread with butter and the 2 times we have to call them because they didn't bring it.

Overall the hotel is okay and the location. But if we come back we'll probably stay somewhere else.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Agape. The rooms were well appointed with huge showers, mini fridge, safe, comfortable king and oversized couch. The property was beautiful. Chilled out at the rooftop restaurant and pool. Protein shakes and juices to start the day. The food was excellent. The staff was very helpful and accommodating with directions, taxi service, recommendations. The hotel is just a block off the main strip of bars and restaurants where we spent our evenings. With a balcony that looks over a residential neighborhood, you get a sense of the local flow. The icing on top is the sister hotel on the beach -- Diamante K. With beach club access included, this has to be the best value in Tulum! DO NOT MISS sunset on the beach at Diamante K. Priceless!

My husband and I absolutely loved our five-night stay at Casa Agape. The staff was friendly, the room was lovely and relaxing with a super comfy bed, the drinks at the bar were delicious and we often had the rooftop pool to ourselves as it's a small hotel. It's within close proximity to lots of great restaurants (Del Cielo and Catrina were our favorites), and we were able to get COVID tests for only 400 pesos each at a popup site at the Super Aki, just a short walk from the hotel.

One thing to be aware of is that their sister hotel on the beach has the same menu as the Agape's restaurant but the prices are much higher. I understand that everything along the beach is more expensive than in town but we were also disappointed in the drinks. My super delicious pina colada at the Casa Agape hotel bar was super icey and watered down at the Diamante K bar, yet double the price!

Hotel was amazing. Perfectly located near the Main Street with tons of food and a quick 5-7min walk to the grocery store. Even the in hotel restaurant had great food as well with decent prices. I’d definitely recommend staying here. Only thing to note there isn’t a tv In the room which was fine by me I was too busy out exploring and there isn’t an elevator so you’ll have to carry your bags up the stairs. But overall my experience was wonderful

The property itself was breathtaking, clean, aesthetically pleasing. The staff was attentive and kind. Will absolutely be staying here again in the near future.

theres an extra $15 a night fee not disclosed on the booking. The room was not what we were expecting. the pictures on our booking showed a private terrace with a private outdoor tub. our room did not have this and when i asked about it they acted like they had no clue about it so i dont know where they got the pics. That was frustrating but besides that it was amazing! the room we got was clean and beautiful. the staff was very friendly and helpful the food is great to! the pool was barely used kinda felt like we ended up having a private pool. very close to the main street.

This has been my third time in Tulum and I loved everything about this hotel from the rooftop pool to the big showers they offer. It's no more than 5 minutes away from bars and a major supermarket. Also, they have a sister hotel where you can get COVID testing. The staff was very nice and sweet. I would definitely return and recommend!

Staying at the Casa agape hotel was perfect! The staff were very friendly the view was perfect. Every morning they would make my bed give me freshwater asked me if I needed any assistance with anything when I had an occurrence with the police the front desk landed door assistance to me and apologize on the police behalf. They all went above and beyond to ensure my safety and to ensure my stay was well experienced. I will definitely wait this day a five star

Everything about this property was what I had expected. Showed up at almost 9PM due to our later flight and was greeted warmly by a gentleman at the front desk. Told him my name and he handed me a keycard. It was as simple as that.

The room was exactly as it looked on Expedia. Was sort of bummed that we didn't get a first floor room that has a cool hammock, but that was the only thing I could complain about. Shower was hot and good water pressure from the overhead. Bed was fine.

The property is on a street off the main road with all the cool restaurants and bars. There are plenty of good spots around there to go visit, I recommend Delcielo for breakfast/brunch which is about a 5 minute walk, if that.

Every staff member and cleaning person I saw was masked up and really friendly. Had breakfast on the roof for our last morning and it was decent, our server was really pleasant.

If you come in late from having fun, the lobby behind the front door may be dark, but there is always someone there to let you in when you walk up.

It was my first stay in Tulum and although I loved Csa Agape, I think the next time I will try to spend a little more and stay closer to the beach and not have to take a cab or the rental car. For the money, I can't imagine beating this spot in terms of bang for buck in the heart of town.

The location was perfect - we walked 2 blocks up to the main strip and were able to stop and eat some delicious tacos along the way!

The hotel rooms were just as the pictures showed. Staff was very friendly and the hotel has 4 parking spots in front of the hotel that you may use for free during your stay. We arrived earlier than our check in time at 3 and staff was nice enough to let us leave our luggage there so we can make use of your day. The beach is about a 10 min drive away from the hotel and the zona hotelera where all the cute shops are located. Overall we loved our stay with casa agape. The only small thing was the wifi seemed to work ok on some days and not on others. Overall we would definitely book with them again.

Everything was beautiful and perfect except our balcony view..... we were given a room that shows construction and house roofs not green...... mind you the other rooms were empty we were literally they only ones in the hotel... I also disliked that we couldn’t leave the air on... so everytime we walked into the room it was hot..... but I still recommend it... it’s peaceful, chic and modern not far from the main attraction

Casa Agape was absolutely amazing!! My room was pretty awesome and super clean! The staff were absolutely outstanding and helped me with checking in a few minutes early as well as reserving a tour for me!! The food and drinks were delicious too. The restaurant sits right outside the badass rooftop pool! Would highly recommend anyone to stay here.
