The best part of this property is the kids area/pool/activities. I felt they really catered well to families. I also appreciated their housekeeping team - room was always cleaned and serviced when we were out in the morning. We also loved the breakfast buffet - great value for the price.

I had a great stay, and enjoyed the fitness room. Sadly, on my last night, I ate some beef that gone bad at the 9th floor bar. At the time, I thought it was just a different blend of spices. But it turned into full blown food poisoning. Terrible way to finish such a nice stay.

I love the swimming pool, so comfortable, big enough (no crowd when i was there), and there’s a sparkling lights at night which as beautiful as stars. For the room: spacious for me, my husband and 1 toddler. But i dont like the towel. Looks old, the color is faded, the yarn is not neat. Hopefully its clean LOL. Anyway, breakfast menu was amazing. Lots of choices with good tastes as well. The staffs were so friendly. I dont have any problem during check in and out. Overall almost perfect, the problem is just the towel. Wish you can change it soon to the new one.

Great location easy access to Lembang. Staff were excellent and extremely polite. We would stay here again. The views from the restaurant and bar on the top floor are great. The hotel also has heated pool-yes Bandung can be cool.

Staff at hotel from reception to porters to restaurant staff to welcoming staff at front door were by far the friendliest ever encountered anywhere
Personal things done by the hotel gave such a good impression like the welcoming chocolates and fruit, midweek surprise cake brought to room wishing us a nice day, checking out gifts thanking us for out stay

Check in friendly with welcome drink. Hotel lobby great with lovely setting of furniture and sofa. Room location given a bit far from lift. Room clean, modern and bed comfortable. A good night rest and sleep in the room. Breakfast lots of choices. Great swimming pool for kids. Place to shop / shopping, a bit far from main town for general shopping. But near to Rumah Mode (branded factory outlet) and Farm House (sightsee). Thus if shopping focus to Rumah Mode, a good location as shopping based.

Rude front desk guy, needs training

Stayed here for a week. There is one rude front desk guy (just one guy, the rest are pretty nice). It’s very unfortunate for a hotel with excellent facility to present one guy that cant keep the standard. They definitely should do better training of their staffs to ensure good customer’s experience.

Nice hotel but room is too dark

Nice hotel overall. But room is too dark personally to me. Hotel is quite far away from convenient store as well. Generally difficult to access to many places by walking.

On the good side, the hotel has a nice swimming pool. Hotel staff are very friendly. Hotel lobby very comfortable to be at. Also had a free upgrade from superior room to deluxe with pool view. Thank you Grand Mercure.

Hotel staff also assisted us by booking a taxi for me when i had to go to the hospital because i was ill. Thank you to the staff that were on duty.

My personal experience staying at this hotel.

Most hotel guest are locals with families. Very noisy. Swimming pool crowed and breakfast crowed as well, Breakfast food is also not appetizing. Perhaps, it's a weekend where many locals from other parts of Indonesia coming for a weekend stay, I don't think this hotel is good for business travelers. It is more for weekend holidays for the locals.

Very pleasant and effecient staff.

The service at the hotel is excellent. Very fast and effecient sraff who are very firndly and ready to serve. In particular Melyanti who went the extra mile to keep coming to our table to ask if all is fine and even offered to take the food for us! That was the first! On the whole we had a fantastic time for 5 days and 6 nights.

Not recommended

Considerably quite new hotel but the condition is not very well maintain. The toilet design is not very thoughtful hence the floor is wet most of the time. The window lock were broken hence it can't really insulate noise. This hotel may not be a good choice as it has only one access and the traffic is very very bad. The good things are nice staff and quite unique Swimming pool floor. It may not worth the money I suppose.

Great place to enjoy Bandung from

The hotel's location along Jalan Setiabudi has its pros and cons. Its quiet surrounding lends the hotel a wonderful ambience, particularly in the evenings. However, commute to and from the city centre can become a nightmare as the single road gets clogged up with vehicles very easily and quickly. My advice to would-be stayers is to give yourself some extra time (~1 hour) to accommodate the traffic congestion.

The hotel itself is brand-new and it has a nice, peaceful vibe that gives it an environment conducive for rest. Check-in and check-out was quick and very well done, and staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The heated pool is a nice place to unwind.

Good location if you're heading into the hills. Ot

Rooms were fine, but the service was quite poor. Could never get the operator, room service or the dedicated service line to answer calls. Room service took forever to arrive. Only provided a single hand towel for double occupancy rooms. The room doors do not close automatically, and sometimes not completely. Rooms overlooking the pool area can be quite loud. The breakfast buffet NEVER changes - it gets quite limiting after 2 days, never mind one week. Breakfast is served until 10am, but they start to shut off the coffee machines and clear the buffet around 9:50, so eat quick if you slept late. The hotel seems to cater to corporate functions, which means the public spaces can be overrun at all hours of the day (and night) - there were at least 2 such groups during our 1-week stay, and the second was large enough that it blew out the seating capacity of the coffee shop.

Fabulous heated swimming pool at Mercure Banding

We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights. Buffet breakfast were decent. They have plenty choices including Indonesian meals. The heated swimming pool is fabulous. Keep you warm in cooler climate of Bandung (Lembang). The room is great and good bed too. Check in was smooth and fast and we got guava juices upon arrival. Great stay in overall.

I enjoyed this hotel as it was a little away from the city centre (less traffic) and closer to local friends. Very clean and comfortable rooms. I enjoyed my stay. I did not mind the extra security due to ascertain the security of the guests.

the hotel service was the fastest service i have ever experienced in entire Indonesia. Very welcoming and friendly staff.. i really enjoyed staying there.
Only one part ; i don;t have kids and the hotel and pool area was full of kids and they were quite noisy. Apart from that breakfast can be longer since it was too crowded and it wass taking such time to get something from the buffet.

This was the nicest hotel I have stayed in in a very long time. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to any of my friends. I only had time to dip my toes in the pool. I would have loved to have had time for a swim. There was nothing I could fault with my stay. Keep up the standard and I will be back.

We enjoyed our stay very much indeed. The staff were very friendly and they went out of their way to help. The hotel is very new, and our room and all facilities were very clear and well maintained. The design concept throughout the hotel is fresh and modern with a very pleasant ambience. We were on a high floor, and the view over the city with mountains as a backdrop was stunning during the rare clear periods during our stay. The location of the hotel is also very pleasant; elevated and away from the central parts of the city. Sometimes traffic caused a 20 minute wait for taxi pick-up from the hotel, so plan accordingly, and be prepared for a slow trip through traffic to the centre of Bandung. Finally, the quality of some of the dishes at breakfast was impressive, particularly the local desserts. The range of food at breakfast was not huge, but more than enough for us. Overall, a delightful stay with excellent value for money.

Comfortable 3 nights stay in our twin room.

We enjoyed our stay here thoroughly although we did not have enough time to laze around by the pool. Staff were friendly and polite. We were able to access to their Wi-fi easily without any problem or lag. Room service was wonderful! This hotel is situated north of Bandung, so getting to Lembang area was just a 20-40 minutes ride. We would love to come back when we visit Bandung again.

Nice comfy bed and room but location a little far

The hotel is nice, modern and has a lot of natural light in the lobby area. Check in was fast and front desk staff can speak English. The room was also spacious and bed was comfy. However, they do not have a massage room and the massage has to be carried out in your room. Masseur also could not speak English at all, so it was a little difficult to communicate. Overall a nice relaxing stay, with not much to do around the hotel. Good if you're looking for a place to relax. Location is a little far from the main area, but staff were very willing to help call a taxi to travel out. Do note that the mosque is nearby and you will hear their prayers which is broadcast quite loudly (think it's across Bandung) a couple of times a day.

Iv stayed in Novotel before n the hotel people are very good in engaging with taxis n private cars.
Should be improve on that n pls make exceptional for stayer to buy snacks from the shop at the lobby during late nights as provisions shops are way too far. Im so surprised when the reception lady said that its only for Sampoerna company benefits. Unbelievable.

I stayed one day at this hotel... The hotel is new buildid hotel so the furniture is also new.. They had a big pool with warm water and my kids loved it so much.. This hotel is located at jalan setiabudi so it has a great access to Lembang Area which has a lot of place to have fun for the kids such as Kampung Gajah, Dusun Bambu, D'Ranch, Pasar Apung, Rumah Sosis, etc...
One thing that i love the most from this hotel is their breakfast... All of the food they serve are realy really good and much choices like local dish, european dish, japanese and chinese dish.. The staff is also really kind and cooperatif...
Kids Club is too small but in progress to be bigger...
I would recommend this hotel to my friend and colleagues..
They have pool access room that is the most fave room at this hotel..

This was my 3rd visit to this hotel.
Great location and good quality rooms pool and gym as usual.
What keeps setting this hotel apart is the professionalism of the staff, who are extremely helpful, friendly and authentic.

A big plus is also the inhouse regular restaurant and the Chinese restaurant.
Top quality dishes again served by wonderful staff.

Always a true pleasure to stay here. This, and thw good value make this hotel my #1 choice when visiting Bandung.
