The property is phenomenal! The photos do not do it justice for the court yard in the back. The hotel is also in the perfect place for walking through the French Quarter, and it makes you feel extremely safe! I highly recommend this hotel!

Lovely courtyard to sit in when the weather’s good and you can walk from the hotel to nearly everywhere you want to go. The king beds are big and comfy. Couldn’t fault it. We cancelled the hotel we had booked for the second part of our stay in NOLA and rebooked at this hotel.

The hotel staff was AMAZING and SO FRIENDLY! The only complaint we had was a Resort fee of $30/day we weren’t aware of until we got our bill at the end of our stay and the hotel gives you $30/day gift cards for tours that were almost impossible to use and you can only use one a day (if you can even book anything through the site as you can’t book in person). But the hotel and staff were absolutely wonderful! Highly recommend, just be aware of the $30/day resort fee and don’t count on the vouchers they give you for tours and activities, we were only able to use one but received 8 of them for our stay.

DO NOT STAY HERE!! I am being generous with the one star. The only thing good about this hotel is the location and the beautiful courtyard. Staff are useless and rude. This hotel was dirty and a waste of money. Will never stay at at Marriott location again because of the horrible experience we had.

The staff was nice but the hotel is awful. I payed through Expedia and they charged my card for my stay after I checked out so I basically payed for my room TWICE!! They have given me the run around promising me a refund and telling me I would receive and email stating I was getting a refund and it still hasn’t gotten that email. I’ve spoken to the hotel plenty of times and emailed with them and still no refund. I’ve had to dispute the charge with the bank. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL! They will steal your money! Every time I’ve called they’ve given me an excuse as to why I haven’t gotten my refund or refund email yet. I expected more from a Marriott hotel. Extremely disappointed

The pictures used that represented the room when reserving was much bigger with more seating. The room had a table and one chair for 2 people while the bathroom had NO space to put anything.

I had a great stay at Hotel de la Poste – French Quarter, A Renaissance Hotel. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the room was exactly as described — clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. The garden area was beautiful and inviting, a perfect spot to relax. The bar and restaurant on-site were a nice bonus, and the location was awesome — close to so many great shopping, eating, and drinking options.
My only small suggestion would be to add a designated smoking area a bit away from the main entrance. It wasn’t pleasant having to walk through smoke from guests gathered right outside the doors.
Overall, a lovely stay with great service, atmosphere, and location — I’d definitely recommend for those who wish to explore NOLa

It was nestled nice in the French quarter. The staff was friendly and even upgraded us to the Carriage house which was nice and secluded it had a beautiful view as well. Amber the office manager was super helpful and friendly with helping with the gift cards for tours and overall pleasant. Jasmine did explain to us about our bill and answered my boyfriend’s questions well. We did our deposit with a debit card- so it sorta of messed up our over all bill. Definitely recommend using a credit card. I wish Expedia had shown us the parking cost though and especially with size of vehicle matters would have gotten a smaller rental car. Overall clean and pretty property. Bed was also super comfortable!

We liked the intimate size and it had an elevator. They seemed to have some staffing shortages and Internet issues but were very friendly. The security was excellent!!

the style of the rooms were amazing. the hotel was within walking distance of all of our activities. the restaurant at had very friendly staff and delicious food. now remember, if it's close to bourbon street there is going to be noise at night so if you're looking for complete silence, you'll have to book further from here, however, i would definitely book here again.

I want to start with the positives, the front desk who checked us in was lovely, actually most staff was lovely. our room was spacious and comfortable. However the pictures are deceiving, the courtyard or pool are not that big. Ordering food is a hassle. The restaurant never picks up the phone. We had the wrong menu in our room, we order a breakfast burrito and they were hell bent on making a quesadilla. I agreed but they still messed up the order. Since we placed the order with the front desk, it was a lot of miscommunication.

I guess I expected a hotel with great room service, amenities etc. I was annoyed to find that there was no spa on premises. No WiFi despite staff trying. The waitress downstairs was sweet when I went down for breakfast. But they charged me $90 ($30/day) for food but fid not honor it.

A gorgeous hotel. Staff inside the lobby, and the dining area were pleasant and kind. Valet parking was extremely convenient, because of location of hotel, nearly everything was walkable one could need. The restaurant was a huge hit, we had breakfast, and dinner one day there. The downside, was our room was quite dirty. Bathroom floor was extremely dirty, our balcony was littered with cigarette butts in the pots, and matches scattered the ground. We were also missing our lamp that all the other units tables had. But all those things could be easily fixed. And we really enjoyed ourselves!

The hotel location was great, staff was pleasant, courtyard smelled great and was very relaxing. The rooms were clean and comfy, but the design was super strange. The rainshower in the wall (instead of the ceiling), lighting was terrible, not alot of clothes storage, and dont get me started on the fridge... all these things are small to deal with, Id stay again.

Can not beat the location- it’s a smaller boutique hotel that is undergoing a change in ownership. Hotel and rooms were clean and the staff is mostly responsive and attentive. There are ALOT of hidden fees at this property- be warned and trying to get your money back for discrepancies between Hotels.com and the actual property are very difficult to navigate and resolve.

We were absolutely elated about staying here. The best location in all of the French quarter. Super close to everything but not in a loud area. Literally worth the price just for location but also clean and modern rooms and a gorgeous courtyard. They also have a filtered water dispenser on each floor and free (excellent) coffee in the lobby in the am. Couldn’t ask for more except this tiny silly detail. The hotel room bathroom doesn’t stay closed by design. It swings both ways like a saloon door and naturally opens while you’re in there. We used a steamer to keep it closed while in use. Other than that very slight comment, we LOVED our stay here and would stay again.

A beautiful, friendly, upscale hotel in the heart of it all in New Orleans. Just off Bourbon Street, so not too crazy! Just a few blocks from Jackson Square. Staff is excellent and service is impeccable.

A very safe option located in the heart of the french quarter just a 4 minute walk to Bourbon st. Located on a quiet side street near quaint boutiques and laid back bars, hotel de la poste was a perfect option, we will be utilizing again.
