The property its self is not well kept. The office staff was friendly and explained everything well. The inside was definitely more updated than the outside. The floor was dirty and the comforter on the bed looked dirty, it has stains on it. The pillows cases were either pure white or yellow. I was only there for one night and did not use the pool. I did wake up to cockroaches in the bathroom. Location was good, not far from good things to eat and Nauset Beach.

I drove half way across to US to vacation on Cape Cod. We had rented several hotel rooms during this trip. This was our least favorite.

They have done some remodeling. We appreciated the refrigerator because we shopped ahead for our longer rental. The lighting was awful. The LED bulbs were too bright. There was no softness to the room. There was room for a comfortable chair and area rug, that might have helped. Maybe pictures on the wall would help, as well. It lacked soul.

I have hosted vacation rentals in our homes over the years. I know how to do it well. I've staged houses for sale. They are almost there, they need some help.

My family and I booked two rooms for a week’s stay beginning June 13, 2026. My daughter had to move her family to another room because her initial room was infested with ants. They were even in her bed. The cleaning service was terrible. We were asked very early before we were all up if we needed anything from housekeeping. As it was still very early we asked her to come back later, so she handed us towels at the door, and we were asked to bring our garbage to her and she gave us plastic bags to replace in the small garbage cans. That was the end of her housekeeping for the day. The next day, I complained that I was unhappy with the cleanliness of the room, pointing out large cobwebs in the corner with spiders and black dirt all along the tub and woodwork. I explained that I had used a paper towel to clean up some water that I had spilled on the floor and the paper towel was black with dirt and that the floors were filthy. The housekeeper became angry, and, I was shocked when she started wiping everything down with the towel that I had used for my shower! The pool water was crystal clear and my grandchildren enjoyed it very much. However, there was dirty carpeting around the pool, and I noticed a nail that had popped up which would have been a painful experience should someone step on it. I brought it to the attention of the management and a small bucket was placed over it and nothing more was done about it for the week we were there. I do not recommend this motel.

We have stayed at this hotel many times over the past 10 years. This time is our last. They use to have a nice continental breakfast. Now they only have coffee and juice. The bath tub grab bar was loose and I almost fell in the tub. We told the management. There were no tissues in the room. At check out, there was no one at the desk. I had to call a number and ask what to do with the key. Very disappointed.

Quaint Inn in Cape Cod. The staff is excellent. They clean your room daily along with fresh towels. They have a pool and pool towels in the office. If you want to head to the beach, the provide beach towels. We booked another night. Cape Cod is a quiet place and very relaxing. A lot of private beaches to explore.

The rooms appeared newly renovated and were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The location was perfect close to everything we wanted to do while still being convenient and easy to access. Traveling with two young kids can be challenging, but this was the perfect spot for families. We had a great experience and would definitely stay here again.

If you just want a simple place to stay that isn’t over priced where you can just roll on in, put your bags down and enjoy your time on the Cape, In a great location close to all lower and mid cape activities, restaurants, beaches ect…this place delivered a clean, quiet room, comfy beds, and super helpful staff! We will book again. Great for families or couples.

What a score this place was! Needed 2 rooms for the weekend for a gig at the Pearl in Wellfleet. Super fair price and amenities. Tracy was a great host and super knowledgeable about the town. Nice pool (a bit chilly for me to use) with volleyball/badminton, firepit, & cornhole readily available. Pet friendly plus an awesome bike rail-trail for bikes or hikes right there! upon arrival the room was way in the back with terrible landscaping and a rocky surface overlooking a highway not pictured in the ad. upon entering we were hit with a very pungent musty,moldy smell- we had to open the window to breathe.
the comforter on the bed ( which looked like someone had sat on it or slept in it and threw the covers over. it had many mysterious stains on the comforter . there were dead bug under the night stand. when i looked in the bathroom there were active spiders in the bathtub along with a dead mouse.
we immediately went to the office and cancelled our stay and requested a refund. we assume since we had insurance and we had a very bad experience that i will be refunded immediately and reimburse the extra costs we had to incur for an immediate replacement room at another motel which cost 199.00

The hotel wasn't much to look at from the road, but the room was clean and updated. The lock to the room was a little odd and hard to work, but not a deal breaker. When I checked in the staff was gone for the day and left my room key at the office mailbox.

The room smelled overpoweringly of cleaning supplies and the smoke detector was chirping every minute.

The property issued a refund, which I will give them credit for, but the room smelled too powerfully to stay there.

Might be a better property during the tourist season when more people are staying there.

As described by many others, this motel has renovated rooms. So for $65/night, off-season on Cape Cod (I visited in late September) it's the price that makes this motel so attractive. It's still a motel - let's be honest - but the floors, bathroom, sink, showers are all quite new. My only complaint, and it matters if you are sensitive to sleep, is in regards to the cheap sheets and bed cover. They are 100% poly, which makes it not so great if you're accustomed to cotton sheets. The location is awesome if you want to explore, in my opinion, the most interesting and less developed region of the Cape. Wellfleet barrier islands, Provincetown bike path (way more interesting than the flat railroad track path that runs through much of the Cape), Audubon nature preserve in Wellfleet, Marconi Beach, etc.

Very disappointed room was not cleaned. They claimed we had Do Not Disturb sign on door which we DID NOT! The room next to us had it on all day!
When I asked for some kind of compensation they said I would have to ask Expedia!

My friend and I have been coming to the Cape for many years in the middle of August. We discovered The Viking while looking for a motel that offered a continental breakfast, and an outdoor pool.
The Viking offered both. We loved it and highly recommended it to other friends.
We just returned from our stay at The Viking and were disappointed that they no longer offered it. Apparently they’re under new owners and took that part away. 😟

Picky people may say the towels weren’t plush. But they were clean. Tub was worn but once again very clean
