There is no finer place. Everything is tastefully appointed. Food is phenomenal. Staff could not be more helpful and they are always smiling- extremely professional. The food is over the top designed and tasteful. If you love luxury and a great night’s sleep in a most comfortable bed- this is the place for you.

Our family of 6 (our Adult children and a grandchild) had a wonderful time at this resort. The pool area, dining, and boat trips (one to a private beach that is complimentary) were the highlights. And the service is top notch, very attentive. Also paid for a boat tour to see the seals and lighthouse which was excellent with Captain John. The rooms could use some upgrades and some painting/cleaning around the cottages. For a top notch family resort on Cape Cod, it’s either here or Chatham Inn.

It is NOT a resort! Important to say to future guests. It is a nice hotel, the room is beautiful, the restaurants are good. But, definitely not a resort! The pool and kids facilities are only on July (peak of summer) . It is Not kids friendly! My children didn’t have anything to do all the 3 days here. There isn’t a spa, an indoor pool or sauna (we are in New England, the weather is something we know!). So for that couple of reasons I can tell you IT IS NOT A RESORT, just a nice hotel! The staff was amazing, at least 🙌

The overall property (dining, coffee shop, grounds, beach, etc.) was nice. The rooms were very disappointing. Smelled of damp/mildew, furniture was stained and dated, chipped paint everywhere, shower had not been cleaned well and needed new grout, carpet was dirty. I could go on, but the gist of it is that the room conditions were not at all what you would expect for a property in this price range. You are paying for the facilities, location on the water, and dining options but if you’re looking to enjoy a nice, upscale room you will not find it here. The view was really lovely though and staff was great but something needs to be done to align room expectations with reality. Might make more sense to stay in the area and experience this location separately for dinner or drinks.

For a 5-star award winning hotel, the service-level fell short of of my overall expectations as a first time guest celebrating our anniversary.Guest services forgot to delivery cupcakes, I agreed to pay extra for as a surprise for my husband and daughter. We ran back to room 3x from pool with much anticipation and only offered a simple apology with extended check out? We already had setup noon checkout and guided at 11:30am we could not longer stay. I would have expected some kind of gesture, offering or act of anything to rectify scenario into a positive experience but I feel no effort or attempt was made. Considering the cost of room and access to a cute coffee shop- a simple gesture could have went a long way…..

However, the noise coming for the room upstairs did not let us sleep, you could literally hear even the footsteps! Also, the parking situation was horrible! They constantly have events at this resort and they don't have a parking area for these events, so the people coming for these events or just to dine at the restaurants take the parking spots of the guess staying at the hotel, therefore, instead of finding a parking spot infant of your room you have to go around and around the property trying to find parking and park very far away. This was extremely inconvenient for us with a young child.

Lovely resort. Staff exemplary. My room was a bit tired. Off season prices but if I was paying high season prices I would have been very disappointed. Water view not impressive at all. The carpets were looking a bit tired so maybe they can do something when they upgrade the carpets. Otherwise, great place. They do have cottages where there are no rooms above. Definitely recommend that.

The main pool needs an update but other than that the place is so pretty and beautifully landscaped that it feels and looks like paradise! Our room 243 had a gorgeous view of the water, spacious room with a large and updated bathroom. The bed was super comfortable and amazing pillows (and I usually travel with my own).

Very small family pool for a resort of this size. Looks very different on the photo then in reality. Cold pool, not heated. Average room. For the amout they charge I expected much better. Beach is not good also. So it was a waste of money and waste of a weekend. Restaurants and stuff are superb. Lots of very well manicured bushes. However, I was coming for the pool and beach are those are very disappointing. Especially for a hotel that charges over 1000$ a night. Dont waste your money. Mansion at Ocean Edge is WAY better. Better beach, heated pools and they dont charge outrageous prices. Rooms there are much better too.

This hotel was wonderful. Check in was a breeze and they even gave us a complimentary upgrade to an ocean view room! Unfortunately, the weather was horrible during our stay, so we were not able to truly enjoy the beautiful grounds and amenities, but the staff provided us with some warm, fuzzy blankets so we could still enjoy the outdoor fire pit. We arrived to a very friendly face named David who helped us bring our bags to our room and gave us lots of suggestions on things to do during our stay. The restaurants on site are rather expensive, but another friendly staff member named Otis, pointed us in the direction of some really awesome restaurants in nearby Chatham. Overall, I highly recommend staying at Wequassett. Friendly staff, comfortable rooms, beautiful grounds and views. My only suggestion is to book your stay later in the summer to avoid the cold, rainy weather!

The beach side pool gets a little crowded and the water in the pool was cloudy but all in all the resort was superb (albeit expensive).
