We had a wonderful stay at Tebesaya Cottage. Primarily, the staff were incredible - some of the most kind and genuine hosts we've ever encountered.
The property was lovely. Two nice pools, our room exquistely maintained, and the location of Tebesaya Cottage can't be beat for it's proximity to hundreds of restaurants and warungs within walking distance.
We would definitely stay here again.

Love the porches and the decor. The pools are beautiful and the staff very friendly and helpful. It is tucked away and quiet except for the scooter noise. I had earplugs so it didn’t bother me. Overall a charming little place.

Really enjoyed my stay. Tebesaya Cottage is in a great location - close to main yoga studios and restaurants but the street is quiet at night. I was impressed by the strong wifi (was able to upload/download large photos and audio books quickly).

It was a really nice property to stay. Clean and staff are helpful. We encountered national geographic moments where we were woken up by a dove cooing. Some times there were ants in the room resulting from eating a little in the room. The wc was cleaned, but there may be a problem with the sewage system. This also maybe true with the whole island. Therefore, you get an odour in the wc. The hotel is located on a busy street, so it is noisy with nonstop traffic. But it does get quiet down after midnight. If you’re a light sleeper, you might not want to stay here. Nevertheless it is worth the price, we enjoyed our stay. The hotel placed a chocolate bar and a rose with a valentine day wishes in our room. A nice touch and a surprise from the hotel. We would certainly consider staying at this hotel again.

We stayed for just under a week. The area is convenient and we were able to walk all around Ubud including the monkey forest. We enjoyed both pools. Breakfast and afternoon tea was great! The staff were helpful, we booked a few tours through them seamlessly. The only downside is you can start to see the wear and tear, just don't look to close in the bathroom/shower corners and you'll be happy.

Our room was clean and comfortable and the aircon worked very well. The 2 pools are lovely and not busy which is great. What a surprising and wonderful little oasis! From the moment you walk up the stairs off the street you are welcomed into this beautiful Balinese retreat. The onsite manager Madi was very welcoming and kind in providing us all the property information. Our room looked out on to the top pool and was surrounded by lush greenery. The breakfasts were a generous size and brought right to our room to enjoy on our patio :) The only hiccup during our stay was when we ran into a problem with the hot water in our room on day 2 of our 4 day stay. The initial response was slower than we would have liked, however, after the problem was identified (we were told they would need to dig up the bathroom to fix it after our stay!) the staff did accommodate us and allow us to use the shower in another suite for the remainder of our day so that we didn't need to move all our belongings from room to room. If you are heading to Ubud I would not hesitate to recommend staying here!

Staff was very accommodating, helpful and gracious. Delicious breakfasts and other meals available - gained weight while here as food was so yummy. Had spacious comfy & quiet room with huge bathroom. Only suggestion is more vigorous scrubbing needed at bottom of shower to prevent mold from growing because of the humidity. Otherwise, I highly recommend staying here. An oasis.

I really loved this place and stayed longer than I expected to. Amazing breakfasts that they bring you in your room if you like. Great pools, really good location. Really wonderful staff. Just a really great vibe there. Free afternoon tea, the staff just seem to bend over backwards to help you. The rooms were beautiful. I would recommend booking one of the slightly more expensive rooms, I stayed in both but for the small amount of money more you get more privacy and quiet, but both rooms were just lovely. I want to go back one day!

The hotel area is not big, but it has two swimming pools which are enough to pamper us during our family vacation. The staff is very attentive and always smiling. The room is clean and the bed is very comfortable. The location is close to Ubud Centre, walking distance to lots of food and to the venues for Kecak dance/Barong dance in the evening. There is Coco supermarket is about 5 mins walk from the hotel. Yoga Barn, Monkey Forest, Ubud Market are all within walking distance.

Great stay, so book with confidence. Only possible downside is 20-25 minute walk to the centre of Ubud, but it didn't bother us. And anyway taxis are very plentiful and very cheap.

The hotel was beautiful and the staff were amazing - they really looked after us, especially our two year old daughter. It's far enough from the centre of Ubud to be peaceful, but close enough to walk in about 10 minutes. The breakfast was great and the choice of two pools meant we didn't annoy anyone with an over excited toddler!
