Perfect place in UBUD.

This place is perfect for a stay in UBUD. Very centrally located but enough out of the way you aren’t right on the Main Street. It’s the perfect base to go out and explore. The cafe next door is also delicious! Everyone is friendly. Would definitely reccomend.

Hotel was lovely and flock attached to it did amazing breakfast, coffee and doughnuts. The only down side was at night it was very noisy. I would say this is only the case if your room is on the road side which ours was. The staff and hotel is great though!

I loved staying at Artotel. They have free yoga in the morning twice a week, a nice pool, and my room on the third floor was so lovely.

The staff were constantly cleaning and up keeping the hotel. It was so clean and nice. The staff was also generally very helpful, friendly, and professional. They were quick to help me with anything I needed.

Additionally, a few weeks later I was no longer staying at the hotel. I needed a place to keep my luggage while I waited for my flight home and they graciously let me keep it behind the front desk no questions asked. Highly recommend this place with the kindest and loveliest staff !

Lovely hotel with terrific staff

Very nice small hotel with a pool and small restaurant in the heart of Ubud. Staff is fabulous... Able to cheerfully answer any questions, make suggestions, etc. Spa staff were great... Very relaxing massage services. Only suggestion would be filtered water dispensers in rooms or at least the lobby to allow refilling water bottles instead of using disposable bottles

AMAZING STAY

Artotel was so amazing - it was clean, affordable, and the location was easy to get to a lot of different places (either walking or simple to get a taxi). but more importantly - the staff was INCREDIBLE. they were there for anything i needed - friendly, helpful, amazing. i can not say enough things. everyone was great but specifically two people Dwija and Gede just helped me with anything. I would stay here over and over for the staff.

There’s no gym but to be honest for the price you are paying; the value is damn good do you can’t fault it.

The property and room is top notch (but sound proofing might be an issue). Too notch in the sense of the room size; the design and insta worthiness of the whole place. Property is also conveniently located, so it is easy to go around ubud.

Food wise; the restaurant next to it which Artotel partners to bring you breakfast is a great place to eat; the kombucha and flan donuts are a must try!

Artotel is the best for relaxation and service.

Wow, what an incredible hotel. It was everything I hoped for in a relaxing stay. Location is walkable to the center of Ubud shopping and restaurants, but far enough outside the chaos. I chose it also because it's on a main road and easy to access by car.

It's a small boutique-style hotel but the rooms are big and had a little patio facing nature. The bed was very comfortable and oh my goodness the rain shower was amazing. They provide slippers in the room and a small area to hang your clothes. AC was nice and cold. Water was warm and pressure was perfect. I used the pool once which was clean and refreshing.

They offer guests 50% off spa services on the 3rd floor so my friend and I took advantage of it. I got 2 massages and 1 body scrub from Oming. She was professional, kind, did amazing bodywork. She even came on her day off to do my scrub.

The front desk staff were always helpful and on hand for our questions or requests. The restaurant next door - Full Circle - is soooo good. We had breakfast there each morning, included with our booking, and the whole menu was delicious. The coffee is by Expat Roasters, and is fantastic. The staff remembered us each day, the decor was on point, music vibes was fire, and of course very convenient while staying at the hotel.

Don't hesitate to book this hotel. You will not regret it.

I sray at G/F of Studio 30, just next to the swimming pool. Hotel design is modern. 50% discoount offering on SPA and also the service experience was good. Although the swimming pool is small but since not much ppl and having sun shine there, it was good.

I liked the modern design and the privacy of the room with a little terrace (too bad there was no natural light nor any view out of the ground floor).
I appreciated the nice modern Cafe next door with good food at relatively reasonable prices for a “trendy” place... The service was good and friendly but occasionally irregular.
I did not use the small pool which was too close to the entrance (probably due to a lack of space).
Overall, a nice stay.

The property is relatively new and it shows; it's modern and clean. We stayed on the ground floor, and our room had a private garden. The breakfast that was included with the room was a la carte and amazing; they would even deliver it to the room. It would be nice if the pool was slightly bigger or had shade, but I have zero complaints about this hotel for the price.

The Artotel chain is fantastic. This hotel has personality and great accommodations. The room I stayed in was truly perfect, large, comfortable, all I could have wanted. The art painted on the walls was colorful and vibrant and the customer service amazing. It is not too far of a walk to town, and getting drivers in the area was very easy. Highly recommend this location and taking advantage of their rooftop yoga! I took a class and the instructor was the best! I was able to tell him how it was my first time in a \"live\" class (versus online following videos) and he gave modifications for me as a beginner.

Good hotel tucked away in Ubud

Property was a good, modern hotel in Ubud. Located approximately 10 minutes walk away from the main strip, the location is relatively quiet. The room was spacious and comfortable, but I did find the odd ant roaming the floor, despite me being on the third floor.

Wifi was fairly good at the hotel, as was the complimentary breakfast. The only suggestion I would give regarding breakfast is to offer some traditional meals at the restaurant (although in Ubud, catering to foreigners' tastes seems to be a common theme).

The staff were friendly and generally helpful, which was a nice bonus. There was also a pool and some sun chairs, but I did not use so I could not comment on them.

Overall, it was a good stay and good value for money.

Artotel is situated slightly off the beaten path away from the hustle and bustle of Monkey Forest St and Jalan Hanoman. That didn't bother us though as the property is really a hidden gem and literally minutes from those famous streets.

Our first impressions were simply amazing. Friska (front desk) greeted us with her attentive and bubbly nature. Everyone was welcoming and always offering assistance.

I did like the location of the property and it was very clean. Water was replaced each day and the staff were all very helpful. I was lucky and had a lovely room away from the street noise. My friend wasn't and found it almost impossible to sleep. Other than that no complaints at all. The little cafe attached to the hotel where we had breakfast each morning was very nice too but a couple of vegan options would be great.

We stayed 7 nights. 2 in the studio 40 which had a terrible smell of mold. After 2 nights we moved to the top floor to studio 20 which didn't smell but had an ant problem all over the room. Pretty disgusting finding ants walking all over your toothbrush.
Centrally located in Ubud, next to Yoga Barn and many good restaurants.
The service was not so good.

Lovely place to stay in a great location in Ubud. Close to main areas however the hotel feels calm and relaxed. The cafe next door is also a great bonus, amazing breakfast daily and excellent coffee. Interiors of the hotel are beautiful and contemporary with tropical touches. The spa upstairs is also excellent value and offers great treatments when you want to relax! Would stay here again for sure!

The hotel is 8 months old. So everything is new. Its a simple hotel with basic amenities, toothbrush and soap is provided. AC was great, loved the bed. But just a personal pref to provide a firmer pillow out of the 2 pillows. We went for the spa at level 3, and we did the honeymoon package 2 hr 50min. It was very good. Exceptional service with the staff and massage therapist. We liked it so much that we wanted to return to do another massage but they were fully booked. There's a 50% off promotion which worked out to be quite a good deal.

For the one night stay, we stayed at level 1, room 103. The soundproofing really needs to be improved. You can hear the roaring of motorcycles by the street and people walking past your door. Even footsteps from level 2 (above you) at night. So this definitely needs to be improved. If you are not a light sleeper this hotel is pretty much what you need. High speed internet + HBO HD in the hotel is awesome.

Breakfast at the cafe next door comes with the stay. great coffee and small food portions was alright for us.

They have small yoga classes on the certain days. I attended the class and enjoyed it!
The hotel gives you a voucher for breakfast at the next cafe,giving you some options like french toast,granola bowl etc with coffee,tea and juice.
I’ll definitely stay at this hotel when I come back to Ubud!

Fantastic hotel to stay in while in Ubud, close to the monkey forest and the supermarket. Only 15mins to the more busy areas of Monkey Forest road and the palace. Staff were very friendly, the massage was fantastic and the included breakfast at the attached cafe was phenomenal. Would highly recommend staying here

Boutique hotel with 20+ rooms. We booked a ground floor with a private courtyard around 40 sq meters. Love the arty decor and polished concrete floor and the industrial color theme. They have in house massage too, but I had to go to a masseuse visited daily for the last 4 years when we stayed in Ubud. Practiced Yoga in the rooftop terrace. The bed is super comfortable like all the five star hotels we stayed and the TV is big and have a couple of English movie channels. Loved stay in Artohel overall.

Absolutely loved my stay at Artotel Ubud. Sophisticated room layout lives up to the name. Great pool and attached Cafe with a nice vibe/good included breakfast and coffee. Close enough to walk to the centre of Ubud but in a quiet side street - best of both worlds. On-site spa was also wonderful and with the current half price special on all treatments, very affordable.

Excellent stay. Very modern rooms and restaurant/bar. Excellent coffee and breakfast. Air conditioning is excellent (sometimes even too cold)! Great pool which only gets sun until early afternoon, then rooftop sitting area has sun until later in the day. Friendly, efficient staff. Wifi is around 7Mbps and reliable. Only problem is that the rooms facing the road are quite load with noise from scooters and you will probably need ear plugs.

I hope to return one day!

Wish we could live here!

Artotel is a walk away from everything in Ubud! We ended our two week bali trip there and didn’t want to leave. The hotel is new, modern, the restaurant attached is great, and their spa is just phenomenal. Will HOPEFULLY one be be back to bali and when that day comes will definitely be staying here!

PROS:

- Good location, though a bit off the center. It's within walking distance to all the important stuff.

- Good Internet connection, around 6 - 8Mbit/s all the time.

- Pleasant rooms with high ceilings and glass doors (to the balcony).

- Spacious balcony - good for doing Yoga. (In the \"Studio 30\" room at least).

- They give you two small bottles of \"Balian\" spring water every day.

CONS:

- The toilet door opens inwards, blocking your way to the toilet, so you have to circle around it every time. It's very annoying.

- There's no faucet & sink in the toilet. Instead, it's in the \"living room\", next to the toilet's entrance. So you need to get out of the toilet to wash your hands after doing your business.

- Many rooms are right next to a road outside, and the locals never stop riding their motorbikes.

That's about it. I suppose the main risk is the road noise, but if you can get a room on the other side, away from the road, it's a great hotel to stay in.

Modern and Stylish

The interior is modern yet has the essence of local flavour. All the floors are connected with staircase which may be a challenge if you have many heavy things with you. I would recommend that you request for ground floor room especially if you need direct access. Ground floor facilities are connected by ramps and no problems in getting around.
The spa is at the top floor which is super cool and it is really value for money. (50% off for spa treatment during my stay in Sept 2018).
The location is off from the busy road but easily accessible by foot to most yummy restaurants and shopping spots like the Art market on the north, SIM card shop, monkey forest.

Great staff, beautiful hotel

The staff here are very friendly and went above and beyond. They saw on my boyfriends passport that it was his birthday when we checked in and surprised us both by coming to the room in the eve with a cake and sung happy birthday!! The itself is very modern and beautiful. Tv in the room is large and there is an awesome coffee maker. The breakfast provided in the adjoining restaurant was delicious and the coffee was amazing. Infinity pool was lovely with nice artwork behind. Pictures online are exactly as the rooms actually look. Rainshowers in the bathroom amazing. Overall stay was great, would recommend to anyone. If I could give it more then 5 stars I would!!

We stayed at Artotel Sanur earlier in our trip and had a fantastic experience there so thought we would also give Artotel Ubud a go as well. We are so glad we did. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the hotel is in a fantastic location, walking distance to great restaurants, shops and Monkey Forest. The hotel appears to have been newly built and has all the mod cons that you could ask for, coffee machine, rainwater shower, comfy bed and on the ground floor where we were, a private leafy courtyard off the room. Breakfast was included at the cafe next door and it was one of the best breakfasts we had in Bali. We also had 2 massages, absolutely shading and highly recommended, these were currently being offered at 50% off. Can’t recommend this hotel highly enough.

Nice new hotel the spa was great went 3 times but not much around until you walk up to the Super Market about 5 mins if motivated and traffic allows. Did not partake in breakfast but they rang everyday asking if I was coming even with a do not disturb sign hanging and they would ring about housekeeping as well with the sign up. Had a ground floor facing the street could be a little annoying if a light sleeper. Did not use the pool as it felt cool. Would I stay again probably yes.

Stylish new place.

Only opened in June, this is a very stylish place. Elegant architecture. Cool, crisp room design and fit-out. Nice infinity pool. No lift but there are ground floor rooms available if, like me, you are travelling with someone with mobility problems. Very friendly and helpful staff. It's not far from the main road but far enough to avoid the noise and bustle of some areas. I made just one suggestion to the restaurant manager. That was that the breakfast, while very nice, is currently a little un-generous. Juice OR tea/coffee and then one dish from a list of about 6 choices. Other choices are available for an extra charge. Juice plus tea/coffee and some fruit before the menu choice would be a very pleasant breakfast to set tourists up for the day ahead. Anyway, I stay in hotels for more than 40 nights a year and this is one of the nicest I have stayed in in the last year or so.

Hotel itself is very new and clean. Modern designer style with Indonesian uBud character I personally quite like it. Even they have their restaurant under construction during my stay they manage to not affecting our hospitality quality by deliver super good breakfast to our room very on time. And the breakfast I can say they have good options all freshly made and Healthy. Staffs carried very cheerful smile on their face to customer everyday, friendly and caring to every single customers, answer all of my needs and questions, helped me to arrange taxi ...etc. Location is excellent I don’t have any complaint, not in the super touristy street to make sure u can get away from the noisese, yet it is just a 5 mins walk to everything u need. I don’t want to recommend to make this hotel too famous and difficult to book later lol. but I think to be fair to them I need to say I highly recommend this hotel to all others.
