Had an odd smell to it. Went into the room and our blanket was dirty. There was like a hard residue built up on most of it. I went to the front desk to ask for a new one and they said no they didn’t have extra to give and explained it was something with the dryer. I just slept using the sheet. Pretty disappointing stay but it was cheap so you get what you pay for.

Disappointing hotel in Waco/Woodway
The 1st room I was placed in was an extremely outdated smoking room. The bathroom sink was cracked, the bathtub had a ring around it, there were cigarette burns on the comforter, the floor hasn't been mopped and there were roaches. The 2nd room was better but the shower had hair from the previous occupant, there was no iron/ironing board, coffee maker, etc. There were 3 handicap spaces one which was occupied by a black corvette who didn't have a handicap placard or license plates.

Not sure if this hotel is going under some kind of renovation, but it had to have been the worst hotel I have been in in years! It smelled, the elevator was sketchy at best. The room looked like they were in the middle of renovating it. There was no nightstands, no plugins for your phones. They were no dressers to put your clothes in. Overall, I will never darken their doorway again. Like I said, one of the very worst hotels I have been in in years. Don't try to save money go somewhere else!

I want to say that we were in Waco for the weekend of Baylor graduation. There were NO open rooms anywhere and the very few I did see were at least 400 per night. We just needed a clean, safe place and that is what we got. Absolutely no frills but no musty smell and clean surroundings.

As soon as I stepped on to the second floor, I noticed that it wreaked of cigarette smoke. I know this may not be a big deal, but I am an asthmatic and I expect a smoke free facility with \"no-smoking\" signs on every door, to a tually be smoke free. Also, the bed was incredibly uncomfortable and i slept terribly. Service was o.k.

It suited us for what we needed at the time. It’s a bit dated and not the cleanest which isn’t too big of a deal to me (construction worker) as I’ve slept in much worse. I was however bothered with the few roaches that I found on both nights of our stay. The shower is also extremely slick with no anti slip mats or anything. Definitely wouldn’t use as a first choice again.

Worst Motel 6 room ever!
I have stayed in many Motel 6 units when traveling. This was by far the worst. Had room on 2nd floor so I used the stairs whenI first got there. Hallways were dirty and not properly lit. Tile on the floor of the stairwell was either missing or loose. Handrails looked so bad that I was uncomfortable and chose not to touch them. Walked into the room to find light switch next to door not working. I understand why no carpet in room (most carpet removed during covid in many hotels); however no carpet in room, no pictures on walls, and not even a dresser under the tv. The room did not feel warm and inviting, rather it was cold and creepy feeling. We left due to a family emergency back home but were denied a refund for the second night by the property. Definitely will not stay at this property ever again!

Saw a couple roaches. Room was clean. Bed was not very comfortable. Shower was good. Toilet was clean, and in good condition. The shower had no shelving or nooks to put soap, shampoo, or like items. Did not like that sink was outside bathroom. Room had a half-booth and an old wood and steeframe chair(chair looked like one found in school classroom) for people to sit in. Half-booth was a little shaky, so was chair. Price was great. Room was disappointing.

The room smelled very musty and moldy. The air conditioning unit was the source of the smell. I don’t think the evaporator coils have ever been cleaned. Mold in the shower.

We've stayed in this Motel 6 four or five times before and have always been pleased. This time though, our room was quite run down and we killed 5-6 roaches in the bathroom and sleeping area. The shower was poor -a remodeling job gone wrong and didn't drain well. The sheets were clean and AC worked, but it's disappointing to have the bugs running around since this is our go-to place in Waco when visiting family there.

The elevator was not working and with bad knees had to walk up a flight of stairs. As we were trying to get rest the front desk called our room 2 times to confirm someone was walking the hall with what looked like a gun. Then later called back to inform us that said person had been upper handed and taken out of the building.
This location has room service and when we called to put in a order we were advised there was no resturants that could deliver to us.
We were advised there was secure area for us to park our trailer and when we got there they asked us to park it in the field next to hotel where there were NO security lights or cameras.
The room itself was clean, cool and decent. Only issue with the room was the sink had the cold water not working.

I have stayed here a few times over the last 3-4 years. It has done nothing but go down. This last time elevator broken , tv broken and seen a bug . Then I paid they didn’t say a word about anything. They can’t even give a receipt.

When we checked in there was dirt and a dirty sock on the floor in the stairwell entrance to our room. Two days later when we checked out it was still there. There was no place to put soap or shampoo in the shower. They advertised an indoor pool, but it was closed.

I asked for a non smoking room but regardless of that the whole hotel smells like cigarettes , you can smell it from the outside of the hotel, I normally go out every morning to warm up my vehicle and go back to my room but this time I pretty much ran out the the hotel and waited in my vehicle to warm up, I couldn’t stand the smell no more, my sinuses were so irritated from sleeping the night there it will be my last time making a reservation in that hotel

It's a very basic place but it was clean and the staff are really friendly. I wish the restrooms were more accessible for the handicapped but I didn't actually ask for a handicapped friendly room so I can't really complain.
