Hotel was probably a 5 star when it opened 10 years ago but is probably not now. It needs some care. In the 2 bedroom pool villa there are no sun lounges for the pool which we found strange. Overall we enjoyed our stay but is overpriced for what you get. The food is quite good and staff friendly and helpful.

The resort itself is beautifull, clean and the staff is just wonderfull. The rooms are clean and the food from the restaurant is really delivious. A well mixed balance between traditional Thai food and western food. Around the resort is not that much but that is ok. You have everything at the resort.

The staff were all really friendly and helpful. The room we stayed at was nice and spacious but it doesn't keep out the noises at all. People walking on the floor above, people walking / talking on the hallway, everything we heard throughout the whole stay. Our room was located on the second floor, but the noises from the ground floor was so loud I thought people were talking right in front of our room. The spa had only one room and one masseuse, so I couldn't book the spa during the time I wanted.

Lastly, the hotel has a 24-hour use of room concept, but only subject to availability, I didn't know this so we arrived at 8pm only to be told that we have to check out at 2pm the next day. This was a huge blow to us as we paid double the amount of other hotels we were looking at to stay at U-Pattaya specifically for this.

Wonderful boutique hotel with amazing view

Very nice boutique hotel. We had the sea view regular hotel room and found it a very nice and comfortable room with an amazing view. The garden villas can also be nice, but we really enjoyed the view (which you won’t have in the garden villas). Breakfast is very tasty and offers plenty of choice. Service is extremely warm and nice. The only isue we encountered was when we had dinner the first night. We ordered an appetizer, starter and main. Somehow the service got it mixed up and delivered everything together at the same time.
This hotel is also one of the few hotels that really is directly linked to the beach and sea.

The pool villa have many leaf around the pool and in the pool. It’s dirty. I can’t use it.
The hotel condition. I can stay in the hotel 24hrs. after check-in time.
Before check-in 1 day staff called to confirm. I inform the staff that I will check-in 6pm. But have to check-out within 2pm. If I want to stay until 6pm. I have to change room type to standard because pool villa have full booking and Staff told me I should to inform hotel before 1-2 weeks. I paid for relax in the expensive price but It’s worse than I though.

The hotel located in a private zone and that’s great for vacation. Anyway, it’s been better once I’ve been here last time (maybe due to epidemic situation) But one thing that take me down on this stayed was from hot water machine problem so I have to take a shower with cool water even I’ve report to front desk.

I stayed at U Pattaya Bang Saray for 4 nights as I wanted to just completely unwind and relax, and wow did I pick the right hotel to do this in!!... The location is perfect, right on the beach, the hotel is small enough to have that intimate feel, and the rooms and hotel grounds and services are just stunning!! Everything is class from start to finish, the pool and beach areas are superb and the staff, especially Claire are extremely welcoming and professional. The hidden gem of this hotel is the quality of food in the restaurant, especially the signature dishes.

The hotel reception staffs are really friendly and greet their guest that I never ever receive from anywhere else. This is a little lovely thing that can fullfil your vacation as well - a very warm welcome. All facilities are good. You can select your scent of your hand soap and type of your pillow. The room with jacuzzi baht tub is excellent. For me, I don't want to go anywhere else. i just want to stay at hotel. Restuarant and breakfast is awesome. So many choices of foods and beverages. Really recommend this hotel.

Everything was overall a pleasant one; not too many rooms also meaning not many guests so if you are looking for serenity and relaxation, that's the place to go. Long beach to walk in front of the hotel, small gym but enough for a small work out. Breakfast a bit disappointing, especially the bread; however a la carte menu offers a large variety of Western and Asian food with generous portion. will return.

The staff are all very friendly and helpful. I had an excellent Thai massage at the hotel, well worth the price. They are currently fixing the patio area by the pool, which is a bit inconvenient, but this should be completed by the beginning of June and the hotel compensated for the inconvenience by upgrading me to a lovely bungalow. The pool is really beautiful and the food at the restaurant is very tasty. The hotel is a nice, quiet place to relax for a few days.

Everithing is fantastic: pay the extra and get a private pool villa and you will remmeber the stay dor the rest of your life.
Only 2 things to make this hotel a real 5 star:
1)Better welcome,more friendly and with a cold drink.
2)Room service available 24 hours.even just a small amount of 5 cold dishes available can make a difference.
All the staff at the pool restaurant are great, but Long is the best.
Check your bull at the end.I had a discount from Expedia and I have to remember front desk manager about it.
Food is amazing and architectural design is a pleasure.

U Pattaya is a great little boutique hotel, with wooden walkways throughout their green garden and wooden fishes hung up, a very pleasant and green surrounding. The hotel's breakfast room overlooks the inifinity pool which reaches out to the beach, very lovely indeed. Breakfast is very unique. Not only do they offer a full buffet, they also offer 5-6 hot-off-the-stove, made-to-order main egg dishes. Great little hotel. Rooms are nice and unique with a jacuzzi on every balcony, and a step down in your room to a nice sofa for the tv area. Most comfortable sheets. Overall a unique small hotel that offers great breakfast and a smooth, nice walkable sandy, swimming beach.

Best place for vacation

The hotel is amazing:
1. The room is clean, beautiful yet comfortable. It is best waking up and have the sea view.
2. The infinity pool and the beach can get you some really nice photos if you like photobombing.
3. The staff is helpful and friendly. We arrived early in the morning at 6 and the staff helped us to check in and extended our checkout time so we didnt need to rush in the next morning.
4. Moreover, the food is delicious. I didn't expect having food for room service will be that cheap and nice.
5. It is next to Cartoon Network. Best location to stay if you will go to it.

However, there are two downsides:
1. Since the hotel is surrounded by trees and sea, there'd be some mosquitos and I hope the hotel could do something to get rid of them.
2. It took more than 30 mins to go to Pattaya city so you should better stay in the hotel for relaxation.

Other than that, I really enjoyed my stay in U Pattaya and I would come back to it in the near future.

This hotel should be only 4-star, not 5-star rated. Room and pool was not clean enough. Lots of dust and leaves stayed on pool and the staff did not come to clean even though we had already asked for it. Jacuzzi was not working. We had to ask for maintainance during our stay.
Room service was very slow in response. We called them up to 3 times for only milk for children. Despite varities of breadkfast menu, they were not delicious.
However, resort atmosphere and facilies can compensate. The room is well-designed and spacious. Beautiful pool is located in front of the beach and there are a lots of suggested photo spots where we can take self photos from their photo stand around the resort.
If we did not expect fo a 5-star service, we might have enjoyed more.

Not great value for money

I must have been the only person on a business trip in that corner of Thailand. The hotel caters predominantly to a mainland Chinese clientele. It has has a small pool and quite a nice breakfast.
The rooms are relatively large, a bit pricey for my taste (Thailand being one of very few markets where you can get an excellent room for as little as 50 - 100$ night). Not very comfy rooms, noise travels easily but nothing too bad.

Spent 3 nights here as the location for my friend's wedding.
So much to like about this place. The pool is excellent, the gym decent, the rooms are gorgeous. I had one that looked out over the complex to the ocean - a view I loved waking up to each morning.
Food was good, service acceptable but not great. Wait staff at the restaurant were a bit hit and miss and when we stored some bags for a few hours for our friends who were later heading into Pattaya central (which we explained to the desk staff) they continued to question us suspiciously - which was not a great way to start the stay.
Major complaint was the wifi was atrocious. The first two days it was intermittent and basically didn't work for the last 1.5 days. Really frustrating when trying to Skype the family back home.
But overall a really enjoyable place to stay for a relaxing getaway. A few days lounging by that pool and walking the beach does wonders.

We stayed 5 nights, the staff in all area could not have been any kinder or helpful. The room, we were in 102 on the ground floor was spacious with a very private outdoor area including a jacuzzi. The bed is enormous, towel and bathrobe of decent quality so was the shampoo and soap. The hotel is well design, the infinity pool is long enough to swim with enough to sun loungers and towels, the beach is clean and semi private also offering sun pods and more loungers. The restaurant offers European and Thai food of good quality. The area around the hotel is not well developed but a 5 min taxi ride will take you to interesting places and Pattaya is 20 min away. We had a great stay

A nice place to stay away from the hustle

A very nice to stay about 30 minutes drive from the hustle of Pattaya. Restaurant has good Asian and Western offerings. Spa on property provides very good service. We were there during the off-season so it was quite quiet.
Our room had its own pool (301) which did require some cleaning but after we asked them they jumped right on it and took care of it. Overall the room, guest areas and beach were kept tidy and clean.
I don't have small children but I noticed a few guests did. There was not much to offer as far as I could see to keep them entertained other than the nice infinity pool and beach.
Wi-Fi was free and stable. The neighborhood is mostly residential as far I could tell, not much outside the gates so a 30 minute ( in rush hour) taxi drive is required to get into downtown Pattaya.
Nice place and very quiet overall.

One of my favourite thing is check-in n check out time if u check in At 2 pm your check out will be 2 pm as well. We booked this hotel for one week after spending three days in Bangkok, but unfortunately, the stay did not live up to our expectations at all.

The hotel appeared very worn down and far below the standard you would expect. The level of service was also poor – the restaurant staff seemed unprofessional and more like random local helpers. The restaurant itself was well below acceptable standards.

The only positive aspect was the beautiful jungle atmosphere surrounding the hotel.

Already the day after arrival, I went to the reception and explained that we wanted to leave, as the hotel did not match what we had paid for. We were met with excuses and told that a refund was not possible.

We decided to leave the hotel after three nights – four days before our stay was supposed to end.

As a final and very unprofessional experience, we were chased upon departure to pay for a snack costing 80 baht, which felt both absurd and embarrassing. In addition, the so-called “free minibar” was misleading, as it only included one drink per person per day.

Overall, a very disappointing experience. In our opinion, this hotel is at best a 2-star property.

We cannot recommend this place and would instead strongly suggest choosing another destination – for example Koh Samui, where the general standard is much higher.

Great escape from the hustle and bustle.
Wonderful, rustic hotel right on the beach. Perfect place to relax for a couple of days away from everything. Large room with a great sea view and s very comfortable bed. The restaurant served a wonderful breakfast aswell as a great dinner and cocktails. Khun Kan and her great team, Ton, Mind and Golf just spoiled us with their amazing service.
Just a perfect stay, thank you all 🙏

Hotellet var helt igennem fantastisk. Det ligger perfekt øde men samtidig med spisemuligheder i nærheden. Hotellet er lækkert og personalet er så smilende og imødekommende. Alt var godt. Udsigten var exceptionel og service helt i top.

部屋はこぢんまりしていますが、とても清潔で、かつ自然を感じられる木材作りになっています。スタッフはとても親切で、レストランも大変美味しかったです。特に、焼売がおいしかった。海は雨季というのもあってクラゲが大量発生しており、海に入れなかったのは残念でした。ただプールに海やビーチを眺めながら入れるので、それで充分満喫できました。
