Loved the hotel set up, beach and jungle, cozy huts was just what I was after.

We recently stayed at Sunset Park Resort and Spa, and it was a peaceful paradise. Our luxury cabin (#402) was perfectly situated by the beach, offering stunning sunsets and easy access to one of the inviting pools, creating the ideal setting for a relaxing getaway.

The spa experience was exceptional, with some of the best massages and reflexology treatments I’ve ever had. The skilled therapists tailored each session to perfection, leaving me completely rejuvenated.

The breakfasts were equally delightful—fresh, flavorful, and with plenty of options to satisfy every palate. Starting the day with such a tasty spread was a highlight in itself.

Special thanks to the outstanding manager, Natthaya Broussard, whose warm and welcoming style ensured everything ran smoothly, and to \"Pear\" at the reception desk, whose friendly, above-and-beyond service made every interaction a joy.

The New Year’s celebration was a highlight, featuring an awe-inspiring fireworks display over the Gulf of Thailand—an unforgettable way to welcome the new year.

This resort is a true gem for anyone seeking relaxation, exceptional service, and memorable experiences. I can’t wait to return!

Amazing. Doing yourself an injustice not staying

Most adorable cabin, beautiful scenery, oceanfront gorgeousness. Never stayed anywhere more unforgettable. Quiet and tranquility are the order of the day here. Staff is phenomenal, beds are good, not to far from Pattaya.

Beautiful Resort on the sea shore

The resort has no big building, only individual wooden houses under many trees. It is quiet, romantic, beatiful view and relaxing. The SPA is big and beautiful located. Restaurant is good enough and a day at the pool is perfect. The beach is not as expected, big coral rocks are just some 10 meters away and you can not swim free in the sea. In general it is in every detail visible that the resort is not new and some renewal is needed here and there. Any time I would come back again. People are nice and friendly.

Sea beach was a rockier than expected but at high tide is good.

Not quite impress as expected

I took whole family to stay for 2 nights the first time I booked for 2 rooms 3 nights and then I end up with try to change to 3 rooms but 2 night instead the good thing that hotel try to accommodate but it is not easy process take me a hour it because Expedia issue or they not try to make it easy ( because they mention the price suppose the same if hotel will think clearly and make it easy 2 rooms 3 nights to 2 nights 3 rooms if room available since they have many room available on that time ) it all about customer service they nice and friendly but not quite good with deal or resolve the problem anyway I end up with pay extras about $70 for extras 2 adults with original $966 so it over $1000 for 3 rooms and 2 night stay and also they call to charge extras about $30, 2 days after I check out and I still paying them without understand what it for It about room price different rate , time or something since I don't want to ruins my day with all that curiously so I just ask my sister to transfer money to them as they asking for. This hotel overprice if compare with overall facility and service ,
Pros: Good set up and concept resort, quite , private beach , bikes, boats
Cons: Resort low maintained, a lot mosquitos at night , the room floor very slippery not good for kids, over price charge, have a lot of rock on one side of the beach , the staff or no staff service it on side the pool to set up the umbrella for guest.
I wish I check the review before I book instead check photo.

UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One word, unbelievable. Sunset Park Resort and Spa exceed my expectations by a thousand times. With private bungalow cabins spread over a couple acres you will fell like are the only people there. Being that this is about 30mins south of Pattaya the beach is nice an quite allowing for a truly relaxing experience. The Spa service was world class too. I highly recommend this resort if you are looking for a relaxing time.

A comfortable stay. The hotel was very quiet which was nice. Enjoyed the swimming pools and the spa was well worth a visit. A relaxing stay for people who don't want to be in Pattaya but near it.

The reality does not match their claims

- Claim to provide Wi-Fi ... the reality is there's no coverage in the rooms.
- Claim to provide Room Service ... the reality is it's unavailable.
- Claim to provide same day laundry service ... the reality is the clothes are returned next day, and smelling of smoke.
- Claim the accommodation is located on a khlong (or canal) ... the reality is stagnant green water which is infested with mosquitoes that will badly bite you during the night.

And added to that:
- The bathroom was shabby, and barely clean.
- Very loud noise at night from nearby establishments.

Friendly staff but disappointing hotel and beach.

Smooth check in to a duplex spa beach side villa with excellent views but hot and damp rooms with inadequate Air Conditioning. TV broken and had to be changed. Phone was broken. Internet was very weak signal and prohibited proper use. Nice balcony but uncomfortable lounger seats with no cushions. When it rained, the villa roof leaked leaving puddles on the floor and the rain dripping onto the bed at night woke you up. Nice pools but the beach was dirty with lots of litter and dogs running around so very unappealing. Restaurant ok, buffet breakfast ok but not available on one of the days and room service very good but we ordered from the restaurant menu not the actual room service menu which was very basic. Spa was lovely. Check out smooth but I was cheekily forced to pay extra 2% using Visa or 3% using Amex. Overall, at $225 / night, (after a 50% discount) still not worth the money. This resort has potential but needs a significant makeover to really attract tourists and repeat stays.

nice Hotel close to the beach but far away

we stayed for sex days and five nights. overall it was nice but nothing to shout about. Staff was friendly but their English was very poor. If not for that girl at the bar restaurant we could not have gotten any information as what to do with our three kids there... The ladies at Reception were helplessly lost when it came to spieak in english and even calling a taxi was not easy. Since it is all done with a big smile it is overall ok but not easy. Prices were not cheap but food and drinks were ok. Outside of the hotel is absolutely nothing to do so with a little help from the taxi driver we saw some other places which were full of Russians. Nothing against this but we felt like in the wrong movie and next time we will chose something else...

Beautiful location, relaxing surroundings

Absolutely beautiful hotel. They weren't very full when I arrived so they upgraded me to an ocean view room - it was amazing. They're not really rooms - they're individual cabins. There was a little garden with a private outdoor shower. Lovely large patio and the sound of the waves lulled me to sleep. Great location.

I'm not a fan of Thai food, so I can say that the American food was pretty bad, but if you enjoy Thai, it's probably pretty good. Be warned though, there is nowhere else to eat nearby. The food and drinks are pricey.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed chatting with the restaurant manager and bar staff.

Nice place to getaway from the crowd. Then beach was in good condition compare to the inner city ones. The hotel build from woods which is hard to clean but the staff did a great job cleaning it. However, it was old and under renovation. There were constructions Going on even on sunday morning. Breakfast was good and the restaurant was placed in a nice view.

Quiet place, very friendly staff. The rooms are great and the food (all meals) was excellent. Breakfast on the weekend was very nice, and average on our last day when few guests stayed there. We stayed at the very nice pool areas as the sea brings plastic garbage to the beach, which is being cleaned by the hotel. The yoga room was being renovated, the gym has fairly old equipment, but good air conditioning. Overall we truly enjoyed our stay, it was very relaxed.

とてもいいホテルです！海が見える部屋に宿泊しました。ローケーションが最高です。外で買ってきた食材をデッキベランダで食べました。気持ちが良く最高のディナーでした。今後も必ずこのホテルに泊まりたいと思います。
コテージになっているので室内で大きな音を出しても隣の部屋まで伝わりにくいです。
とにかく最高のホテルでした！

Super fint beliggenhed,
dejlig poolområde men slidt. Der var ingen spa,
fitness center har vist ikke været brugt de sidste mange år.
Hytterne var super hyggelig med super udsigt over pool og havet. Direkte i vandkanten.
Personalet var meget venligt og hjælpsomme.
Maden var fremragende.
Stedet lever desværre ikke op til 5 stjerner

Durch den Coronahype fehlten die Gäste aus dem asiatischen Raum gänzlich, was die Resortleitung dazu veranlasste, Service/Leistungen abzubauen. Aus einem Frühstückbuffet wurde bspw. ein à la carte Service. Die Reinigung von Pool etc. war ungenügend (Blätter etc.).
Das Resort braucht dringend einen \"neuen Anstrich\", sämtliche Holzteile (Dächer, Boden beim Pool) wirken vernachlässigt. Das Resort liegt ca. 20 Minuten ausserhalb von Pattaya im \"Outback\", Taxifahrten mit entsprechendem finanziellem Aufwand sind die Konsequenz daraus.

まず、お湯がでないので、シャワーが浴びれない。
それも、シャワーが野外なので、なおさら、水でシャワーを浴びることは非現実的。
また、他のホテルで夕食の予約をフロントに何度もお願いしたが、面倒のようで取り合ってくれない。
食事以外はすべてが不満で、これ以上、日本からの犠牲者を出さないためにも、掲載の取り消しか、再度、当ホテルのレビューをすべきです。

Short weekend trip

Visited the hotel in low season. It was very quiet. Restaurant was average at best.

From a distance it looks awesome, but get up close and it needs attention. Staff worked hard to keep the grounds clean and tidy, but tiles are missing from the swimming pool, doors jam as they have warped with age.

Beach and view are excellent and staff very friendly. Setting is fantastic as is the choice of restaurants within a short drive.

バンコクから車で二時間ほどの範囲でのんびりくつろぐには最高です。郊外なので車必要です。パタヤの夜遊びを目的としている人には向きません。ビーチ沿い以外の部屋は、お勧めできません。

家族の楽園

前回（１年半前）宿泊した時には、幾つかの気になる所が有りました。それは海がきれいではなかったことです。ゴミ等の漂流物が有り折角のロケーションが台無しだと感じました。しかし今回は海も浜辺もとても綺麗になっていました。朝早く起きて浜辺に行くとスタッフが綺麗に掃除しているのです。きっと以前のコメントに耳を傾けてくれたのだろうと嬉しく思いました。
又以前はインターネットも部屋では使えずフロントに行くしかなかったが、今回は無料で部屋で使えるようになっていました。進化しているなと思いましたね。
アメニティーも以前は髭剃り話、歯ブラシもなかったと記憶していますが、日本のホテルよりアメニティが揃っている感じでした。外国ではアメニティーセットが充実していない所が殆どですからね。
また今回予約をした時に、宿泊者一人と間違ってインプットしてしまいましたが、エクスペディアのスタッフの親切な対応から二人で気兼ねなく滞在出来た事は本当に嬉しかったですね。
ホテルと言う所は「家族が帰ってくる第２の家」・・・そんな気持ちにさせてくれるホテルでした。
心使いが家族のようでした。帰りにフロントスタッフに「又帰って来るからね。必ず来ます。」と言っていました。
家族の楽園でした。

Hotellet lever for så vidt op til 4 stjerner, men imødekommenhed og service var decideret dårlig. Vi havde søgt på værelser med morgenmad til 2 voksne og 2 børn, alder 9 og 12. Ved check-in bliver vi mødt med et krav om, at skulle betale for en ekstra morgenmad (450 bath), da jeg spurgte hvorfor, blev jeg informeret om, at værelset var beregnet til 3 personer! Da vi så ser værelset er der kun senge til 3 personer! Jeg går i receptionen igen og bliver mødt med et krav om ekstra betaling (1800 bath) for et større værelse. Dette nægter jeg. Jeg ringer til det danske hotels.com og beklager min nød, de lover at ringe tilbage loer sende en mail. Dette sker ikke, jeg ringer igen og denne gang er det en indisk engelsk dame, som informerer mig om, at hotellet er i sin gode ret, da værelset kun er beregnet til 3! Jeg forklarer, at jeg sidder med en reservation, hvor det fremgår, at jeg har bestilt med morgenmad til 4 og derfor forventer, at der er plads til 4 og selvfølgelig morgenmad. Hun er en maskine, som hverken er til at hugge eller stikke i, så da jeg konstaterer, at jeg må lave en skriftlig klage, kommer hun på lidt bedre tanker og lover mig en voucher på 50£ til min næste bestilling hos hotels.com. Denne får jeg pr. Mail 3 dage efter vi er rejst. Om det er hotels.com eller hotellet, som er den skyldige, ved jeg ikke endnu, men pas på, når du bestiller dette hotel, for du får ikke nødvendigvis det du har bestilt.

Fred og ro. Gammelt og meget slidt. Personalet taler dårligt sprog. Ikke styr på tingene i restauranten, handler nok mest om dårlig ledelse. De gode leder vil være de gode steder. Synd, fordi stedet lægger godt. Ikke egnet til børn, de vil kede sig ihjel. Vi kommer der ikke mere. Personaltet gør hvad de kan og må, men det lever slet ikke op til 4 stjerner, nok nærmere 2-3. Alt for dyrt i forhold til kvaliteten

Ett väldigt fint hotell! Först bodde vi 3 nätter i \"bayview\" och sista 3 nätterna i en \"beach spa villa\" vilket var otroligt med två våningar med balkong och utsikt till havet. Otroligt bra service! God mat men ganska dyrt för att vara thailand men klart värt det endå. Rekommenderar detta hotell till dem som bara vill koppla av och ta det lugnt i solen och bada på privat strand. (Buss till pattaya för endast 100bht) värt det om man vill shoppa också! :) lyx hotell med beach relax känsla.
