Hotel has fantastic food and pool/beach but the property itself needs a refresh to have the expected standard for the price. We had to change room due to leaking WC and second room has AC noisy like crazy. This was 4th trip within 2 years but hotel is deteriorated fast so we will only come for food in the future.

Great family friendly hotel in the vicinity of Jomtian beach. Excellent in terms of cleanliness and hospitality of staff. Loved the spa. Breakfast was sumptuous and amazing in terms of options.

DONT SMOKE THEY TAKE PHOTOS OF YOUR TRASH.

Don’t order French Toast they deliverd 22 chicken sausage and 4 slices of sliced white bread. Don't smoke a cigarette they take pictures of your trash. Over all very restful stay nice room. David USA

It was like a zoo. They were ill-equipped to handle the volume of guests checking in. It was 30 minutes plus to check out. it is possible my fault for not understanding it would be full of young families decending on it for the weekend but for a business traveller, I would avoid this place at all costs. My suite was nice and the sea view was good (don't look to the right where there are derelict and half built buildings - real eyesores!)

We stayed for two nights. The service is not five-star - very crowded, linen is not fresh scents, pillows are hard and not comfortable. I had to call and changed a few times. The breakfast area is extremely packed, too noisy, and crowded. No social distancing and not very hygienic.

Overall, not worth it for money. This hotel should be only 4-star. The breakfast area needs to be improved ASAP.

Stayed here fpr 4 days on vacation in pattaya city at the end of our trip traveling all over thailand. This is the nicest hotel i saw in thailand, and the cleanest. Amazing breakfast bar and right next to the boat docks to take a trip to an island if you want.

The staff are not yet responsive to guest demands as we waited and waited for the pool bar tender to arrive, which he/she never did.

Nice rooms, lovely pool, attentive staff. However, the breakfast buffet was disappointing compared to two years ago. There was no variety of food, the main part of the buffet was geared towards Asian customers and the food was not fresh. Stale bread, old cakes, even dried out sushi. Salmon is always the signpost for me for a first class buffet. It run out by 7:30 and was replaced by sea brass, which is not comparable. Coffee was not freshly brewed, although we asked for it. We choose this hotel for the excellent breakfast and we were disappointed.

If the staffs won’t serve you for a while and then put your on hold because there is another group of tourist would be much better. Oh twist’s oysters and chicken satay are so bad! But I do recommend T55 steaks, oysters and wine. The pool and beach are awesome!

There is no close by alternatives for meals and the hotel capitalizes on this by charging excessive amounts for all food and drink.
There was a plastic bottle cap in the foyer area of the 16th floor adjacent to the lift that was not cleaned in the 5 days we stayed in the hotel.
We could not use the \"rain shower\" shower head as water would spray in all directions when used.

This property is a very modern hotel with access to a private beach section and nice pool especially for kids. It’s a fairly quiet section and far from the pattaya city center with the night market and such but the free shuttle is nice to get you there and back.
The rooms are clean but there are wear and tear showing on the property and the cleanliness of the rooms isn’t the best. There was still hair left in our bathtub and on the bedroom floors.

The amenities at the property were great. I used the spa and definitely enjoyed my time there with wonderful service. The packages are great and with Expedia VIP you’ll get 15% off your spa treatment as well. The fitness center is open 24/7 but there’s only an attendant there till 9pm. New equipment and pretty clean.

The breakfast is set up buffet style and has quite a selection from omelets, assortment of pastries and toast, fresh yogurts, deli plates, Chinese congee, American breakfast, and Thai noodle soup among other things.

1)Firstly, Late check in, they initially told us to wait for 1 hr to get our room ready, but then after one hour they told us another one hour. It totally interrupted our plan but lucky they offered late check out at 6 pm. I believe they organise better this by sending us an email earlier then we don’t have to wasted 2 hours in the hotel lobby.
2) Limited parking available, at the first night I was told to park at the entrance of the hotel which is 2 mins walk to the lobby it is okay at night, but not walking in day time with 37°C. I was told to be pick up by transport for 5 mins and then 2 mins .... and finally they tell me not available becoz of the golf car sent to pick up guest.
3) I ordered a meal in the poolside restaurant. It is included a main, a drink and a dessert ( ice cream or fruit) I chose for ice cream but how come it doesn’t come with mövenpick ? Instead they served a local brand ice cream. It is quite disappointing. I don’t mind the hotel named as beach front Pattaya, grand Pattaya , but why mövenpick hotel not serving mövenpick ice cream?
4) Poolside drinking water cost u 90baht. Advice bring ur water from the room instead of asking from the staff at poolside.
5) Finally, as a member of hotel.com I saw there is a promotion in the apps stated that spa for 20% off, food and beverage 15% off once. When I get the bill they charged everything in the original price I have no idea this is cost by the hotel.com or the hotel. I paid fully at the end.

I didn't like the fact that the maid stole money from my room
and that the taxi provided by the hotel tried to rip me off , tried to get me to pay twice. threatened to leave me stranded if I didn't pay again

Very nice hotel, though a bit far away from the city.. could do with a bit more night life or hotel entertainment in the evening .
Quite busy with families and children , if your looking for a bit of peace maybe not the best choice .., and you have to be up early at 7am for the sun beds , maybe they should look into stopping this !

The hotel is well-located (not far from Pattaya center easily reachable by the hotel minibus or by taxi), has a well-equipped easy access to the beach and nice large swimming pool.
We were also impressed by the spacious and clean room, spectacular view from the balcony and, which is important, modern and stylish plumbing in perfect working condition. The round bathtub, although unused by us, also added a classy twist to the bathroom.
The staff were polite and welcoming.

I don’t like how the hotel guests can only use the one half of the pool. Also, I think that the hotel should put up nets in the ocean to keep poisonous jellyfish out rather than just put op a warning sign.

Nice Hotel - if you dont wnat a coffee!

I stayed at teh hotel as close to teh Ocean Marina, have stayed before and location is great. Overall very good service and friendly staff but the hotel needs to invest in some extar coffee machines, to wait one hour for a coffee at breakfast time is not what you expect from a Movenpick hotel. Staff friendly and great but management need to get their check books out and invest in some extra equipement!

The staff was great. Very polite and very helpful for all our needs. We had a room at the 33rd floor and a very nice view. The rooms a great, we loved the big bath tub. Since club lounge access included a small breakfast we did not go the restaurant in the morning. The lounge access also includes alcoholic beverages in the evening. Definitely worth the extra money for lounge access.

Negativ:
For my opinion, nearly 800 thb for this breakfast is just not worth it. In the peak hours you will face a long waiting line. It gets worse in case it rains and the table outside are closed. Furthermore for this amount of money, I think you can expect more from the variety of food they serve.

Pool:
What bothered me most, and that's the reason for my rating, is the fact that the picture on the website shows a big pool. That was the main reason we booked this hotel. It turned out that there is a wall seperating the pool in 2 different zones. One for the hotel guests and the other one for the residents. They should at least leave an information about that on the website.

The hotel was very modern and staff extremely accommodating. We were upgraded to a junior suite that was both spacious and beautiful. It appears that every hotel room has a spectacular balcony with a panoramic view of the ocean. This was a huge plus! We ate many meals at the hotel, and found them to be wonderful and affordable considering the level of the hotel. The complimentary breakfast buffet offered a fantastic variety as well. There is a great little marina next to the hotel so getting the boat tours to the islands was easy. We would definitely recommend Movenpic and look forward to returning.

Hotel facility itself and staff was ok. Pool was smaller than expected. Beach was ok. The location is so remote and inconvenient and there isn't a lot nearby. You get stuck with overpriced restaurants in the hotel. I would recommend my friends to stay elsewhere

Wonderful pool

The pool is superb. We spent a few hours there every morning. It is big and clean.

The sea view in the room is wonderful. The staff is nice. Buffet breakfast provides a wide range of choices. The spa is expensive but the service and the environment worth it.

It is very far away from the city. So the travel expenses was quite a lot for us as we took Grab every day.

This hotel like many in Thailand now caters for Asian tourists mainly from China and the breakfast reflects this fact, it does not have the space or choice to cater for western guests. For that reason i wouldn't choose this hotel again. Other than that it is acceptable for a short stay.

Relaxing hotel popular with families

Room is very nice and spacious, with great view of the sea. Hotel has big pool and nice pool bar.
Staff were extremely helpful and polite. It also has a lot of activities for kids so it's popular with families.
