This is advertised as a 4 star, however I’d say this is more of a 2 star; the condition of the hotel is not as in the photos. The hotel is rundown, pool areas are neglected, the beach beds are in terrible condition, reception staff were rude, nothing was open. The location is good but the hotel is bad. I would not stay in this hotel again unless they halved the price to reflect its true conditions.

rooms have cockroaches, lizard walk on walls, air-condition broken or noisy. Some of the receptions couldnt understand English, hard to communicate. No hotel telephone, no room service, wifi is too weak

There are wild dogs on property, lizards and cockroaches in the room! We left right after check-in! Very unhelpful stuff didn’t offer any resolution, so hotel didn’t refund anything! But better that than wake up with some bites from a random creatures! Only decent thing is location

Basic beach side hotel.
Our room was noisy because it had a row of air conditioning units outside.
We asked if we could move but staff said the hotel was full although it didn't seem like all the rooms were occupied.
There were sunbeds available by the pools but hardly any on the beach. Not enough pool towels to go round.

Worst hotel stay I’ve ever had

Worst stay ever. Shower didn’t work for 3 nights, no one came to fix it. I was in room 3315.

I’ve stayed in hundreds of hotels around the world, and plenty in Thailand this has to be the most negligent place I’ve stayed at. Never got any refund or apology.

Staff does not care. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

Old property needs TLC. Considering covid and the loss suffered by they are doing their best to get things working again. It’s a lovely place away from everything. A nice place just to have downtime and relax. The staff are amazing and they make this place magical

We stayed in Pinnacle Resort with our family of four children and all-in-all we enjoyed very much our stay. We had two 2nd floor neighbouring rooms (no joining rooms are in the hotel) with balcony not far from reception and from the restaurant area.
Check-in was quick and though we arrived much earlier than official check-in time we got one of our rooms already to stay there. Rooms are rather functional, nothing fancy. Rooms, hotel, and all public areas are very clean and well kept.
Breakfast is abundant and offers a variety of local thai and standard international foods. Also we had dinners in the restaurant, mostly thai cuisine.
For children there is a separate childrens pool and a small playground. Also we could borrow playtools free.
There is a large garden around the hotel buildings and a beach to the sea. Unfortunately the sea is not immaculate, we have seen floating trash in it, but it is obviously not the fault of the hotel.
If not staying always inside the hotel places, then a car is a necessity to get around.
Guests are mainly Russians, but that seemed to us quite common in the area of Pattaya.

No fawcet in bathroom. we were moved because we complained about no fawcet but the room we were moved to didnt have one either.
Advertised as beach but there is no beach at this hotel.
Many other things advertised as free were not, including breakast (far from free was very expensive at 400 baht), transport not free,

nicer place to stay than hotels in Pattaya as you get a beachfront and it is quieter, but the beach is full of litter and the water is not very clean so we never used the beach.

OUTSTANDING!

This Hotel had been Recommended to me by a Good Friend but I was still surprised just how Good it was! From the moment we Arrived at Reception and were Greeted by Sumalee until we were Checked-Out but the same Courteous, Smiling and Helpful Lady everything was Excellent!

During our stay we encountered many different Staff from Management, to Maids, to Waitresses, to Bartenders etc and so on. All Greeted us with a Friendly Smile and a \"Sawadee Krup/Ka!\"

The whole Resort was spotlessly clean and well maintained including the Private Beach. All prices quoted for Food, Beverages, Room Service, Spa Treatments etc are INCLUSIVE of Tax etc which made for a very pleasant change when compared to Hotels/Restaurants elsewhere,

The Breakfast Buffet was Plentiful, Hot and Delicious with Great Waitresses ready to assist in any way possible.

I could continue but, at the risk of Boring the Readers, I will sum it up by saying that this Friendly, Guest (and you do truly feel like a Guest not just a Customer here Orientated Hotel really should be added to your list if you are considering staying in Na Jomtien. In the meantime, we have already re-Booked for next weekend!!!

This hotel is located on the outskirts of Pattaya in what seems to be a development area that has not happened, resulting in the hotel being isolated at the end of the access roadway with vacant plots to either side. Not an attractive first impression.

The hotel itself does not have any facilities such as shopping, entertainment, massage parlour or indeed a lift. Should you wish to venture into Pattaya a taxi is a must, however the hotel provides a shuttle bus service at a cost.

The breakfast is good, but generally an Asian menu. Beach access is good with adequate sun loungers etc. Swimming pools (x 2) are adequate and good for children.

In summary; an out of the way hotel with basic facilities only and reasonable beach area, but in a very poor location.

Lovely resort, friendly staff and a great holiday!

This is our second visit to the Pinnacle resort. Upon arrival we were upgraded to the villa which was a great bonus. We were taken to our villa - after a long flight we wanted to have a shower and there was no hot water. We called Reception and within 5 minutes we had someone over to fix it and the job was done in 15 minutes which was such great service!! The pool was great, the staff are all incredibly friendly and welcoming. We got breakfast included which has the best assortment from eggs any way to pancakes, crossaints, Thai breakfast and loads more. We got massages most days which were incredible - just past the pool closer to the villas or where the little stores are. Thai massage was $200 baht which is super cheap and they had many different ones. For eating I would recommend The Glass House which is down the beach and serves the best Thai food! The staff are so friendly there and I would recommend sitting upstairs and you have a beautiful view/setting for dinner. We got the shuttle bus into Pattaya city a few times which was really easy and cheap serviced by the hotel. I couldn't recommend this place more if I tried - it will be a yearly visit for us! Thank you to all of the staff who made it so enjoyable.

We really enjoyed our stay at Pinnacle Grand Jomtien Resort. Breakfast was great with good selection. Something we really noticed was that the prices to dine in were very reasonable. So many resorts have high prices on dining in. This resort appeared to be getting people from outside coming in for meals. Would definitely go back.

Big resort with easy beach access

This hotel was one of the bigger ones we stayed in while traveling around Thailand. The hotel has several very nice pools, and very nice staff members. The breakfast wasn't our favorite but it was nice to have a buffet breakfast every morning. They also provide us with towels for the pool or the beach, plus nice covered areas with comfy beach chairs. Our room was clean and the shower was okay (the water would get really hot or really cold randomly). This is definitely perfect for families and anyone looking for a quiet getaway as there isn't much besides the beach and a few other resorts around within walking distance. However, there are plenty of options within a 15-30 minute drive and the hotel provides shuttle service at 80 bht that goes to the Pattaya shopping center and close to the pier for visits to the islands near by. On our last day, we spoke to the GM of the resort who was a very nice guy and told us about exciting new construction that will be taking place at this resort. We might have to come back for that!

I was appalled

Booked the hotel for a business trip. My local driver had a little difficulty in finding the hotel reception which has a different entry gate as the accommodation building, didn't help that it was almost 11pm and street lamps were scarce. Check in was swift and hotel staff were able to communicate in English, I was sent to the accommodation building via a buggy (they have a few buildings, believe to house different room types). There was no lift on the low rise resort style building which I stayed, so families with elderlies be mindful to request for ground floor rooms. Upon entering the room, there was a weird smell. The hotel staff assisted me in turning on the lights and aircon system, very helpful! After he's left, I was horrified to discover that the room floor area was wet with condensation. Wardrobe had an unbearable humid-store smell, I closed the doors within the next second. Bed and pillows too had a wet smell, I had a hard time sleeping and waking up almost every half an hour. I didn't complain as it was too much hassle to change a room when I have to check out early in the morning. When I was awake at 5am, finally the room felt 'normal' and not so wet since the aircon was on for 6 hours. We're near the sea so being 'wet' is understandable, but I guess a proper ventilation system and new furnitures to suit the climate would help.

Relaxing & Enjoyable Vacation

We chose a pool access villa and it was great with lush green garden next to it. Perfect place to spend a lazy and relaxing holiday. Lots of action in Pattaya. Was close enough to the city, but great getaway after the hustle & bustle of a city life where we live. Special thanks to Ms Orawan & Ms Ann for making the stay even more memorable. Breakfast needs to be upgraded & if the property had more restaurants next to the beach, it would be awesome, because there are beach side small restaurants & fine dining places which are doing very well. Will definitely visit again.

i booked a villa with an access to swimming pool for 8 nights and here is my feedback,
let start with disadvantages:
1-the location of this resort is too far from central pattaya.
2-the staff guy who carrys the bags will stick in your room until you give him some money \"tips\" for his efforts:)
3-breakfast is unchangble so you don't expect to see somthing new.
4-i saw cockroach in fromt of the villa and i informed the reception to do somthing but they ignore it.
5-its very hard to adjust hot water in the shower.
6- staff barely speaks english.
7-group of asians lived infront of us and they were drinking and talking loudly all night i called the reception but i do not think that they understand what i want, next day early morning same thing happened again.

advantages:
1-villa was infront of the swimming pool so you have easy access to it,it gives you the feelings that is a privet swimming pool.
2-most of the staff was friendly.
3-the resort has its own beach.

I love the view it was fantastic ! the pool! But in terms of breakfast there's only few choices compared to oher hotel i have been. But it's quite far to those tourists spot. The hotel lacked of Tour packages offers. but the rest was good experience.

Pinnacle is a beautiful hotel but it is getting old.The location is peaceful but my sea view room was dirty and smelt stale ,the staff were great and breakfast ok.Glasshouse restaurant just up the beach is well worth a visit as is Drifters beach bar.

Overall hotel is okay but it is a bit threadbare and need of a facelift. Tennis courts are used for vehicles and equipment. My \"ocean view\" room had a slight view of the ocean. Staff were very helpful and food not expensive. Quiet area, hotel mostly filled with older German couples as far as I can tell. Good for a quiet, relaxing trip. Pool was nice.

Location was great, but since it is away from Pattaya, it should have its on entertainment for night life. One have to go all the way to Pattaya. Hotel staff was very friendly but could not speak english. In that price it was a good option.

Brief thoughts..

Went out of season at the beginning of September. My main problem was simply being floored by the heat (37+). Everything became a chore. The room was fine but the A/C was noisy and you needed it on 24/7. Drinks were not cheap at more than double 7/11 shop prices but it's a hotel right. Food was pretty good but did not have that North Thailand fresh spiciness. Restaurant could do with some more fans! Location meant getting a taxi and that could be from 250 bhat to 400 baht (hotel price) but there is a free taxi in the morning and afternoon. Restaurants further down the beach were V-expensive and not very good though look romantic. Don't like the stray dogs. Garden onto beach needs some styling. Beach okay - watch out for the jellyfish though. Swimming pools lacked breeze and the water was very warm. Sea view rooms benefit from a breeze. Silly floodlight shines from the beach back towards the hotel which is very off putting in the evening. Not surrounded too much by other hi-rise hotels which was good. DO NOT GET ROOM 3412 - there's an electricity transformer right outside your sea view room!
Staff were all very helpful but you get a bit fed up with the Thai style of greeting. Local shops in grounds (handy). Apparently hotels all suffering from a lack of Russians - good for me!
Overall though it was a nice hotel, friendly, clean.

Not Beach front as we expected

We paid more for the bungalow thinking it was on the beach but were disappointed when we found that the bungalow was tucked back behind the beach and we had to walk on the street near some shops even to get to the beach. Wish they had little more information on the website regarding the exact location. The hotel was cheaper and at least closer to the beach than the bungalow.

Very disappointed with the hotel and service

It was raining heavily when we arrived and the hotel staff did not even propose an umbrella to go to the lobby to complete the checkin, so we had to ask for one and an umbrella was reluctantly handed to us.
The checkin staff was not welcoming and even less friendly. We were not informed about the facilities, breakfast details or any other activities the hotel may have to offer, we had to find by ourselves. Furthermore whilst other guests had their welcome drinks, we did not have ours and again we had to ask for them.
When we entered the room, it was smelling like old and wet and it was full of mosquitoes.
The hotel looks a little bit old and some areas are really in need of work.
The beach is quite close and rather nice, however, the surroundings are constructions sites, some areas with ponds of dirty water. No wonder there was so many mosquitoes.

A nice get away for a couple

We enjoyed a few days at the hotel. We had a deluxe sea view room, which was nice. The staff were friendly . The massages outside were great as well . We weren't able to get a cabana on the beach, but got one by the pool. The gym was disappointing . There was an awesome pizza place near by. We would go back .

The 3.5 rating stars is too high for this hotel

My room haven't the bath mat, but this is not the point. My point is when requested to the room services from my first understanding they told \"Yes\" and keep silent. Until 20 minutes passed, I call again, they reject and feedback me that I have to call house keeping. Why I know in second time after silent and call again? Anyway I keep call house keeping but no answer. I decide to call reception as normally every requested I normally call reception.

Reception accept my requested and I told them about the no feedback from room services and unanswer the call from house keeping. they sudden answer that tonight they have so many guest, actually I just need to feedback them and not need any explanation. But why they worry on this excuse. Rating 3.5 stars for this hotel is too high, 1-2 stars is enough for their services in Thailand

One minor feedback is that there is no AIS mobile signal at my room and building.

Overcrowded hotel with unwelcoming and unhelpful reception staff.
The hotel was very nice 10 years ago when there were only two blocks of 3-story hotel buildings. Now on the same plot they have five (3 of which are 5-6 story tall) buildings and one more adjusting villa compound. With so many guests there are only 2 receptionists on duty. They mix up things, act in the manner to get off the guest as soon as possible, are not really efficient and helpful and often are impudent. Overall impression - ant-hill with a nice garden.

The bungalow's are excellent but the walk towards the bungalow is bit clumsy. The standard rooms are very well located near the pool. The interiors of the sea facing rooms are very dull and worn out. The private beach is very good. The food is excellent and quite reasonably priced. This hotel is good if you don't plan to move out and hang out in the Pattaya area for few days as transportation is very difficult and expensive @ 80 bhat per person one way.

It is a little difficult to find the place (we had a taxi from Bangkok driving us), so be sure to know where to go: it's off of Sukhumvit, so DO NOT drive off into Pattaya. Stay on that main highway road. It will be off to the right, so if coming form Pattaya, you will have to U turn. Once you're at the resort, though, it's easy to get into Pattaya - take a songtaew from the main road for 20 baht (but you have to walk to the main road....the trucks outside the resort will try to rip you off at 300 baht!)

We were upgraded from an economy room to a standard room for free. This room was still near the front, but had a nice garden balcony overlooking the manicured pond. I think we may have been upgraded because a company was using the resort for a weekend retreat, however, and they may have booked all of the cheap rooms. Also: I do not think this resort should accommodate a company of that size. This group traveled in bulk and did their team-building exercises right in the way of everything. We got scowled at for walking back to our room (the only way to get back, in fact) by a man running a camera and filming the company exercise. I'm sorry, but you should be in a private meeting room in a convention center for that type of stuff. This is not a Holiday Inn. It's a beach resort. Get it together.

The beach is not the cleanest beach, but that's Pattaya-wide. Jomtien is about a quiet, reasonable beach a decent distance from Bangkok. The beach huts with padded lounger chairs is excellent - I spent 85% of my time laying by the water, watching the kiteboarders and wind surfers. I didn't venture into the water too often as I have a fear of jellyfish and they washed up to shore VERY frequently.

The resort pool is fine, but the pool bar was closed - not even stocked. I was bummed about that, because I had looked forward to cocktails being served to me at the pool and they were certainly MIA. Also, the beach bar was closed the entire time we were, except at night they were open for a private group. I guess we were there on the off season, but it seemed like every room was booked. They really should keep all amenities open year-round or tell you if and when they are closed. We had to bring our own drinks down to the beach.

The mini market is VERY reasonably priced - same as 7-Eleven in town. I thought there would be a markup, but there was not at all. Only downfall is that it closes at 7 p.m.

The breakfast buffet is INCREDIBLE. I think this is the best breakfast buffet I have ever been to, outside of Las Vegas. My major complaints, however: why is there bacon in the fried potatoes? In all of Thailand, I find a place with fried breakfast potatoes, and they put bacon in them. I do not eat meat outside of seafood, so this is annoying. Also, there is incredible espresso offered from a rather confusing machine, but there is only one machine and a lot of coffee drinkers at breakfast time. Otherwise, it is a GREAT spread and I was pleasantly surprised. Very well stocked and caters to Thai, Chinese, Europeans/Russians, AND Americans!

The food at the resort was incredible, my Seafood Pad See Ew was the best I've ever had. However, explore the options in town! If you walk to the beach and make a right when you hit the water, you can walk along the beach and then up onto a wall. The small road into town will be on your right. If you go down that road a bit, there is an awesome restaurant built out over the water, called Sea Falcon. Best service, best cocktails, and BEST food we've had in the South, hands down. We almost cried when it was time to head back to the room! haha

Overall, this is a great place to escape to for a few days. It's far from hustle and bustle, but certainly close enough to a small town to have plenty of variety with both Western and Thai food. The beach is really the draw - I can't imagine using the pool if you only have a few days here. Also, the villa pool is off-limit for us resort folk. You can only use that neat pictured in-between villa pool if you are staying in a villa. Of course, the villa area looked miserable and hot. There is absolutely no shade offered, and it's far from everything.

I'd also like to note: there are a LOT of Russians, here. They're a different bunch and I won't bad mouth, but they do not wear much clothing, regardless of their size. Beware the Russian thong.

The hotel itself was lovely and well maintained. Cleaning, maintenance and restaurant staff were friendly and courteous, but reception staff were brusque at best. We had requested a double room, but were given a twin despite the hotel being far from fully booked.

Being low season it was delightfully quiet and relaxed, with easy access to the beach and pool facilities. Unfortunately the hotel was very hard to find (poor signage) and is quite isolated. Many of the surrounding restaurants remained closed for the duration of our stay.

Perfect for a quiet poolside holiday, but be prepared to catch a taxi to anything else you might want to see or do.

部屋のカードキーが壊れていたのか、鍵で開け閉めしてたのですが、開け方を習得するまで時間かかった難しすぎる。
でも朝ごはんも美味しかったし、部屋も広すぎるくらい広く、ビーチも近くてまた絶対行きます！
朝ごはんはほんとに美味しかった。

タクシーはフロントで手配してくれます。
でも、大通りまで出たら普通にタクシー拾えます。
フロントのおっちゃん優しかった！

Hotel location was good, some nice small restaurants near the hotel, there was also small minimarket and massage place.
Room was ok and clean, but lot of mosquitoes so good to have a spray with you.
Pool area and beach was nice. On the beach there was beach club alexa, little bit too loud music, they played music starting 11am until late evening. At the pool the sound wasn’t that bad.
Breakfast was like a 3star hotel, asian breakfast style. But there was omelet, bread and fruits so ok.
Shuttle service to pattaya city, cost 80thb, took 15min.
Wifi was okey in room, not that good at pool&beach area.
The only thing we missed here was a gym/fitness center. That would make it even better.
If you want nice hotel and calm area this is good option.
