Was a decent hotel but for the price it could have been better. Bathrooms were large and nice but there was no dresser or closet. Also very rough neighborhood, didn’t feel safe at night. Still overall it was a positive experience. Staff was friendly and helpful. Lots of food options and 10 min walk from subway.

Overall, we had a great stay at this hotel. It was very clean and the room was roomy for two people with a modern full size bathroom. We were allowed to check in at no additional cost (typically they charge $40) but the man at the front desk was very nice since we had alot of bags. — there is nowhere to store bags if your room is not ready so plan accordingly. The room was very clean, air conditioning and heating worked great, WiFi was strong, however walls were thin. You could hear pretty much everything because rooms are close together.
This hotel is close to the projects so keep that in mind. This isn’t the nicest area of queens. But I never feared for my safety and found it easy to get around. This is a short 5m walk to the Q66 bus and the F train.

When we got there I noticed that whoever had stayed in my room previously had lightly smeared what looked like excrement on the back of the bathroom door, and there was a booger on the TV. We asked staff to clean it up and they did, but that’s not something anybody should be missing pre check in. Other than that the room was relatively clean. We needed more pillows and there weren’t any available aside from the two extremely weak/unsupportive ones left with the room. Took an hour to request a TV remote that actually worked.

The air-conditioning worked very well, I just wish they had microwaves in the room and better Internet. The internet is good but if you want to game on your laptop and a system its only 2.5 GHz. But the place is nice clean and the staff are very helpful.

My say was extremely pleasant especially dealing with owner Asaraf. He was extremely professional and compassion and takes the customer service to a whole nother level. He takes pride and ensuring his guests receive the best c/s accommodations.
Rooms are extremely clean so much that you can even eat off the floor. Very quiet peaceful night. Made me feel as if I was walking home after a long journey. Only if we regret that I have is that I did not find him sooner. I will definitely returning

Parking is terrible, there is construction everywhere around the hotel. The staff was friendly. My room did not have towels big enough to take a shower, I had stay at this property 2 times prior, this time we had no soap, body wash, nothing. Will not come back even though the price is ok

The only reason I gave 4stars some two of the questions was; the area was near the projects where their was a lot of police one day, I felt safe they were there but alarmed at their presence and the amount, next was the room didn’t have a fridge or microwave in the room. Other than they my stay was awesome, the staff was a pleasure and the guy at the counter w/the glasses was very nice he found my ID that I didn’t realize I lost until it was time to check out! He did write down his name for me but I forgot it in my other coat. All and all I would book. Again even with the minor (conveniences) not available. But just about a block maybe two way there are a lot of places to choose to eat and it’s very close to public transit! I really like my room deposit being in cash because I don’t have to wait 2-3 days for it to come on my card I get it right as I’m checking out!

Lots of hotels in this vicinity but the surrounding area was deprived and sketchy at night. Felt uncomfortable walking after dark. Hotel itself was pleasant at first sight but the problems started soon after, it seems that the hotel also houses people that are government assistance. Every night of my 7 night stay was disturbed by long arguments, fighting and partying in various rooms on the same floor. Even on Sunday mornings, loud music and people shouting seemed to be the norm. I mentioned this to the reception staff on a couple of occasions but there hands we're tied due to being no security on site. The rooms was tidy and efficent but lacked any toiletries for the shower, which i thought most hotels provided, Also a lack of storage space let the room down. Overall an unpleasant 7 day stay for me.

He should have said that from the beginning. Instead of having me call 3 times to shut it down and that I had to do a new room change in person at the lobby.

Hotel: Rougher part of the city, but close to some fast food restaurants and a subway entrance so it made getting into Manhattan easy.

My lamp had no light bulbs, and when I asked the staff, they said they have no extras and no housekeeper.

Great customer service. They will take care of you. They go above and beyond to make sure you have a good experience. The prices are great. It's hard to find a hotel with a beautiful view of the city and bridge for the price they charge. The internet is fast, which is important to me because I work a lot online. If you don't like something...just tell them and they will take care of you. Therefore, my stays were great so far. I hope they keep it up. Some places I used to like changed and now i stay at this hotel when i'm in the area.

I stayed here for four nights in January. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I have had. For 3 out of the 4 nights, there was no hot water in the shower.
In the middle of an NYC winter, taking cold/lukewarm showers is unacceptable. Despite notifying the front desk, the issue was not resolved in a timely manner. While the location was good (we were in Long Island City right near Queens), staff did not offer any support beyond telling us to keep running water (which we did every night). Especially in the winter, a proper functioning shower (with at least warm water is a basic requirement.
I expected much better for the price and for this level of hotel. I cannot recommend this hotel to others traveling during winter months.

Bed sheets had big stains, bath tub was very dirty, we saw a big cockroach in the bathroom. We went down to the cafeteria to check out the vending machines but there were no snacks at all. Room was small but very neat and clean, huge bathroom. Very comfortable. Only bad thing was there is no parking or valet parking. The front desk said there is available free parking across the street but it was extremely full, even double parked so we had to park several blocks away.

The beds are super hard and have plastic matress covers. It was like sleeping in plywood covered with a tarp. The pillows were maybe 2 inches thick and offered zero support. I went to the desk to ask for more pillows the desk attendant said that house keeping had left and he had no access. He handed me two towels and told me to usenthose as pillows? The hotel is pretty well maintained and staff are friendly enough. They really have to do something aboyt the bed and pillow situation.

Was originally sceptical about this hotel given some of the reviews, however was impressed by the price given the easy and quick transport to manhattan so booked it - and i would absolutely book this hotel again. I came with my boyfriend for 4 nights on a christmas trip to New York and this hotel was the perfect base for us. It is less than a 10 minute walk from the subway station and 1 stop on the M or F train to Roosevelt island and just 10 minutes to Times Square - even less to Central Park, 5th ave, etc. There are reviews mentioning the area being unsafe, and whilst I can’t say it was necessarily a ‘nice area’ - there was a few homeless people, interesting characters and a strong smell of weed almost everywhere, neither me or my boyfriend felt uncomfortable or unsafe at all. There is also quite a few options for food nearby. All the staff we spoke to were kind and helpful and the room was nice, clean, and had a surprisingly great view. Something I really appreciated was the number of power outlets in the room, there was even a usb-c port on the bedside table ! Small things to note : none of these bothered us but the mattress had a plastic covering on it which did make noise and the sheet was very thin (however there was ac and heating which worked very well so wasn’t cold) also they do charge $20 to store baggage after checking out. Overall, very good hotel for the price, location and quality.
