Lovely hotel set in pine forest. Easy to get to quick taxi from airport. Nice rooms if a little small. Good facilities and lovely Espa toiletries. Little stroll down to a rocky beach in a cove. Lots of good walks either a bit rocky on coastline or a great path around the area. Nice food. Pleasant staff. Bus stop easy walk to and has access to many routes only 10-15 mins bus to Pula centre with charming little bistros cafes and sights.

This was a lovely hotel, well equipped with friendly helpful staff. The breakfast in the morning was fantastic - fresh food and plenty of choice.
Pula is a 15 min bus ride away - or €10 uber ride. Plenty to do in Pula but good to get back to the hotel, with its pool and easy access to the beach.

Beautiful hotel, fabulous service staff were amazing in all areas. Our room was overlooking the pool and immaculate with lovely towels & comfortable bed.
The restaurant buffet both at breakfast & evening meal was fresh lots of choices & plentiful. I am celiac and they catered for me both in the restaurant & at the pool bar, gluten free breakfast items available in all areas including croissants & an array of breads with a gf toaster at breakfast as well as lots of meats cheeses & fruits.the pool area is immaculate and a short walk down the path there is a small rocky beach. We had a fabulous couple of days here, would definitely stay again.

We stayed for 5 nights at the Park Plaza Arena , the room was an average hotel size it lacked drawers or shelves for clothes but we made do with what there was. I would have liked an iron too. The bed was large and comfy and the shower was good.
The hotel itself was very clean and well kept. The food at night was ok not a great deal of choice but you could always find something, it would have been good to serve crackers with their cheese and there was never any ice cream . Breakfast was good.
Service for drinks could be slow.
The hotel didn’t have entertainment .

We stayed here for 3 nights, early July.The hotel exceeded our expectations.The location is lovely,nice and quiet,but close to the sea.lots of sunbeds around the pool,and on the grass under the pine trees.Our top floor room had a nice pool and sea view,but no balcony.The bed was super comfy,and we didn't hear any other guests at night.The bedroom was very clean,and nice modern decor.Elemis toiletries were a nice surprise too.We chose bed and breakfast,but opted for dinner buffet twice.The restaurant,like the rest of the hotel,is clean, comfortable and stylish.There is a vast choice of buffet options, including vegan.
Quality of food,was excellent,and the restaurant staff very attentive,and friendly.In fact,all of the staff were friendly, and smartly dressed.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay,and would definitely return here,next time in Pula.Thank you to all the staff at Park Plaza Arena!!.😀

Smart and modern hotel with good amenities and an easy bus ride into Pula centre.
The pool and lawn had plenty of free sun loungers in September (at least outside of school holidays), the pebble beach is very close and the saltwater pool clean and quiet - pool towels can be collected near the changing rooms and toilets.
The hotel restaurant is €32 euro for buffet dinner but there are other restaurants in walking distance (like Olivia at Park Plaza Verudela). At lunchtime there is a very good à la carte menu (awesome truffle mayo cheeseburger as well as pasta dishes and sandwiches) at very reasonable prices (€10-15). The service was great while we were there for food or drink, at lunch and in the evening.
The room was clean and well looked after. Could have done with a thicker pillow option but otherwise no issues. I think it's worth paying the extra for a pool view as the balcony faces the trees and sea as well (otherwise you may face the car park).
Staff in the spa and on hotel reception all really polite and helpful too. All in all, a nice hotel with great staff!

The property was very clean and well laid out, we stayed in one of the chalets and it was top notch: there was a complimentary fruit bowl, robes, slippers, beach bags, the lot! The garden was also very nice
There were hammocks and beds laid out on the grass for hotel guests, loungers by the pool and outside seating. When we wanted to leaves the main hotel, we were within walking distance from two beaches, from an aquarium, an art park and other restaurants- not that we needed to visit them, because the hotel restaurant served delicious and very good value food
A stop for the bus route into the main town was close by and very well signed

The room was nice, although the bathroom door does not offer complete privacy. The food was tasty and plentiful, but the desserts for dinner were not to our taste. The lounging area on the grass is calm and there is always shade. However, at times, there were not enough lounge chairs for all the hotel guests. The hotel's policy against reserving lounge chairs should actually be enforced (some chairs and beds were empty for hours despite being reserved with towels). It would also be nice if there was a possibility to order drinks in this area without having to go to the hotel/pool. The nearest beach is, unfortunately, too small and overcrowded, but there are bigger ones within walking distance. The hotel area is very calm and quiet in the evening and at night. Most of the staff were kind, welcoming and helpful.

During the summer season we paid a relatively high price that would get you a 4 or 5 star hotel for the same price in Dubai for example.

Staff at check-in was a bit stressed out and we felt that. Staff at the restaurant was welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful.

Pool is salt-water, clean, and there is a tiny wading pool for toddlers.

The pebble beach is very scenic with some 3 to 4m high cliffs you can jump off of, but the beach is relatively small so it is very crowded during the peak times. The beach is publicly accessible meaning access is not limited to only hotel guests.

Rooms are small. They seem like they were recently renovated. Beds and bathrooms are clean, but the carpet seemed like a poor design choice and was stained in the room where we stayed.

The best thing about the hotel are the nice grounds, grassy area in the pine forest, large yoga wooden platform and quick access (five minute walk) to the Aquarium.

The hotel decor is quite Mid-century modern. There is a beAutiful sloping lawn dotted with lounge chairs leading to the beach, which is characteristically pebbly. A path winds around the coastline with a sophisticated nearby restaurant and a point at the outermost edge where people gather to watch the sunset. The staff is fantastic, especially our hardworking waiter and Kelli at the front desk, who gave us excellent advice on restaurants, where to get a Covid test - easy - and Pula attractions.

We had a wonderful week here in August. The hotel is part of a group of 3 hotels & villas on the Verudela Peninsula, all within walking distance and you have a access to them all. The Park Plaza Arena is smaller and quieter than the its sister hotel Histria & the Verudela Villas. There was a nice mix of young and older couples and families. Its set slightly back from the sea (approx 150m) with pines trees all around. There are beds and hammocks under the pine trees for use by guests as well as sunloungers around the pool. The pool has chlorinated salt water but don't let that put you off as that is the case with all the other hotels too. The beach has large flat stones so aqua shoes are recommended. The sea is beautifully clear. There is a water slide (free) and an play aqua inflatable course (chargeable) paddle board & kayak hire. Buffet breakfast was fabulous with lots of choice offering fruit, meats, cheese, cooked items, pastries and great coffee. Dinner buffet was equally extensive, or there was a la carte. Due to Covid, staff served the buffets at each section but that didn't hinder how much you could have. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough to make your stay enjoyable. We have 2 children and had a 2 bedroom garden suite which was fantastic. Views through the pine trees with the sea beyond. Very peaceful indeed. We would highly recommend this hotel.

The room was facing a rooftop over the front entrance. The room had little insects all over the floor possibly the reason we were bitten many times once pointed out to cleaner she vacuumed which I don’t think it had been done previously in our stay.. entertainment of an evening was poor and seating around bar inadequate.
Pool was lovely and around the pool was cleaned daily along with shower areas
Late check in 2pm so hanging around as we arrived at 10am although room was available for luggage but no local information on area which was a pity
Overall I do not think the money paid for the hotel and services we received was very good at all

The hotel is on the Verudella peninsula, about 6 miles from Pula so you would need a car or take a bus into Pula city. However the complex of 3/4 hotels has bars, restaurants and shops within walking distance and every possible sports opportunities you can imagine, land or sea. It’s a great place for walking, cycling and tennis plus water sports. Breakfast was a good buffet with fresh fruit etc and surprisingly good food can be had from the a la carte mehu
I would definitely stay hear again. Park Arena is the smaller quieter hotel on the peninsula so great for couples and families

The only good thing in this hotel is breakfast, everything else is like 2*. We stayed in superior double room (3 person, 238 euro/night), and it was very, but very small, even for two, so one of us stayed on balcony most of the time. There is not enough sun beds around pool, so we went on crowded hotel beach where you need to pay extra for sun beds, but they take sun beds away at 18h, because the beach boy is working till 18,00h, There is no shadow on hotel terraces. On one of terraces there isn't sun umbrellas at all, and on the other one there are so small, that feels same like without it. Wi-fi is not working. We had problems also with tv, but it was fixed next day. Cushions are made of old quilt. It was very long line for check in and check out. Rooms ware not ready on time for some guests, so they ware very angry, and manager was very impolite.

We had a great stay. It was our first hotel after a very long flight .... our room was nice and spacious (we had a connecting room for our daughter - so was a bonus to have 2 bathrooms). Breakfast was really good with lots of choice and we loved the beach in front of the hotel. Some advice if flying into Pula - don't wait and get a taxi when arriving at the airport - we did this and got ripped off. It would have been considerably cheaper to have booked a transfer through the hotel in advance which in hindsight we should have done. Would definitely stay again at this hotel.

We stayed here for our honeymoon and the location couldn't have been better. Such a beautiful resort with a great beach, breakfast and bar as well as very friendly staff. Kamenjack National Park was just 20 min away and a wonderful way to fill a day too. Highly recommend the Park Plaza Arena.

Staff were friendly & helpful, seemed a bit understaffed at busy times, although this was a minor criticism. Pool area could get a little overcrowded at busy times & latecomers were unlikely to get a sun bed although there were more under the pine trees above the beach, ideal for people who burn easily!. The beach was typically Croatian, small & pebbly!, best to have a dip then move to the pool or pine trees!. Access was great 15 minutes from the airport, 5 minute walk to the bus stop into Pula, or around £10 for a taxi.

Bar staff (Marin) offers excellent service with an eye for detail, friendly and very knowledgable.
Excellent variety of food.
Property very clean and tastefully decorated.
Overall very pleased and would happily return.
