Restaurant has mostly terrace seating (covered) with a great view of the lower city as well as the hills beyond

Staff just needs to do better with telling us to turn on the refrigerator behind it or turning on the hot water outside the room as we had none.
The toilet has a huge leak and they just said “ laundry was closed” so no extra towels.

Ok stay here

This hotel was rated as a 4 star hotel. Our room was a city view with three beds. The space was quite small and cramped. It was not a luxury hotel. The rooms on the mountain side will have had nice views. I got a good discount with booking on hotels.com. I would stay here again with this discount only, not full price. The restaurant was fine.

Wrong room and refusal of refund after agreement

I booked a room on the 22/05/2024 for my sister and her son. They arrived at 3pm to check in, they were told the room was not ready. later, they were taken to the room but the bed sheets were not done. To make matters worst the room was not the one I saw on hotels.com. I asked the five to five receptionist why this was, she stated that was last room they had but they can issue me a refund if I wanted cancellation and I agreed with her . As per our agreement, I contacted hotels.com to cancel the booking and issue me a refund. And told me that they will do this but fist they have to contact the hotel and after giving them the name of person I made agreement with, I ended my chat with hotels.com. This morning, I had an email from hotels.com which told me that five to five refused to issue me a refund. I will make sure that either Hotels.com or five to five issue me a refund because I recorded all our chat and calls.
In addition to this, While waiting for their room to be ready, my sister told me they hotel workers ignored her and her son but while giving refreshers and waters to their white their guests. My sister and her son felt really upset and told me they would never stay in the hotel.

As soon as I arrived, people at the front desk were asleep. The rooms were old and dated. The showers didn’t even have hot water. The hotel is overall terrible and would not return. I only stayed for one night and that was more than enough. Would not recommend

Property is convenient to airport and a few eating places. Restaurant is good and free breakfast is nice.
Water supply is there but no pressure. The BED is so HARD I am still hurting several days after leaving. Staff was very kind and gracious.

The staff are always welcoming and very helpful. The breakfast is very good. The rooms are good. Food is available 24/7. It is a great place to stay at having just arrived at the airport.
The dining area is good. But the hotel lacks a lounge where you can just sit and relax if you stay more than one night.

We have stayed at several hotels while in Rwanda, but this one was the best. They provided us with outstanding customer service, 5 star hotel assistance and the hotel rooms were immaculate. The food, breakfast and Dinner, was better than any restaurant we have been to. We stayed in room 212 which was cleaned everytime we would leave for the day. I am so pleased to have stayed in this hotel. All the staff were perfectly accommodating. I would recommend anyone coming from America to stay at this hotel. It is priced very well for everything you get.\"

We picked this place because it had decent reviews and was very close to the airport but sadly the noise from outside was so loud we could barely sleep even after changing rooms . Not to mention we saw 2 different prostitute situations happening in the hotel which made it very uncomfortable to sleep without being completely disgusted. Great for a cheap night close to the airport if you don’t mind the things I mentioned. The staff was all very friendly though!!!

Very friendly and helpful staff. A budget choice with some nice touches such as the provision of toothbrushes and toothpaste. One omission was no tissues in the room, and the plumbing could do with improvement. However a great choice if you want to be in a very central part of town amongst the local people, rather than isolating yourself in one of the upmarket Western chains. Great views across Kigali from the restaurant and the most rooms, some of which have balconies. There is also an attractive outside space for the evening. Wi-Fi was usable most of the time but some short outages especially if viewing films.
We would certainly go back.

the hotel is basic but keep a very good standard. Wi Fi works very nicely, few international channel at the TV, a good quality restaurant (and cheap), good breakfast, very clean property and most of all, an extremely good, always ready to help and and very respectful staff. It is the staff who make the difference. Rooms are not big, but for one person are perfect.

Very loud, impossible to sleep past 5AM if you’re on the street (entrance) side so ask for a room facing the nicer view to the back of the hotel. Air conditioning didn’t work and after two calls was finally moved to another room, but the second room had a leaking toilet all over the floor. The pictures for the booking show a kitchenette, we got a tiny room without a kitchenette. Good breakfast with vegan and vegetarian options. Extremely friendly, caring, and professional staff but the English barrier is present so communication must be slow and clear to ensure no misunderstandings take place. Wi-Fi was 10 MB/s and the internet connection was strong and stable. Overall, this place did the job for the 24h mandatory quarantine but I wouldn’t stay longer.

Restaurant on-site was good with many food options. Because of Covid curfew, all local restaurants closed at 6pm but we could eat at the hotel later. Staff was friendly and most know English:)
Kind of a long check-in process...had to fill out a form with the same info I had already submitted on-line. Rooms were clean but mattresses are old & very uncomfortable because you can feel the metal springs when you lay on it.

Wonderful hotel and exceptional service

Wonderful stay at the 5 to 5 hotel! The front desk was awesome and helped us at every turn whether that was getting a taxi, letting us have the room for a half day due to an 8 PM flight or helping us with accommodations for 2 extra guests. Really recommend this hotel the service was excellent. I will definitely return to this hotel if I ever travel to Kigali again.

The hotel is located in a more local community. The staff goes above & beyond to make you feel welcome, from the moment you arrive at the airport till the moment they drop you off.
