This property is rather bland...needs art in the hallways. Needs a luggage rack in room The bathroom had no space for toiletries. The happy hour bar was not staffed. Ring a bell and wait forever. Breakfast was decent. Hotel was generally clean but appeared tired without art on the walls. Elevator was rickety For the price, I would not stay there again.

A modern hotel with good amenities

This hotel is a few minutes walk from Marstal, in a very quiet surrounding. It does not offer the genuine experience of in-town hotels in historical buildings, but it is a very decent modern hotel with very functional rooms and bathrooms, good insulation and an ample dining room and bar. It caters to tour busses but we were welcome using a few rooms to host our wedding party. Very friendly staff all around. The barman was very kind to cool for us 2 bottles of Champagne we had brought along and serve them in ice buckets with glasses at no charge. In a country known for expensive alcohol we ran up a 2-hour tab at the bar for other drinks for a party of 7 that was only $100. The breakfast buffet included in the price was plentiful and of good quality. We did not use the restaurant for other meals. As is often the case in Denmark, the reception and bar are shuttered 9 pm to 7 am. Only minor gripe was the checkout time of 10 am, a bit tight.

Very basic but good enough for a few days stay

It is a beautiful Island Æro but very limited with hotel choices. Æro hotel is situated in a tranquil place and near the ocean front. It is clean, Staff were friendly and helpful, but the room is very basic and lacks aminities, there was no hair dryer in the room. One can also hears the activities outside the door as it was not so good isolated the walls. But for a few days stay, it was okey enough.

Pænt hotel. God morgenbuffet.
Vi valgte, at spise hotellets middag og må sige, at det var virkelig dårligt. Men ud over at servicen ifm middagen og kvaliteten af råvarerne til middagen var ringe, så var hotel opholdet ganske tilfredsstillende.

Konstruktiv kritik

Vi har boet centralt i gå-afstand til Marstal med gode parkeringsforhold. Dog et minus at man selv skal have ladekabel med til sin el-bil for at kunne tanke. Det vidste vi for det første ikke og havde det derfor ikke med, men det ville have fyldt meget at skulle medbringe og er tungt. Så vi opladte hos OK-benzin ved Superbrugsen i Marstal i stedet. Hotellet er pænt og rent med venlig service. Morgenmad o.k., men rundstykkerne lidt kedelige og muslien til yoghurten \"tandløs\" uden smag eller crunch. Dejligt med Happy-hour både eftermiddag og aften. Lidt mere alkohol i drinksene havde ikke skadet og især om aftenen ville det have tilført ekstra stemning med lidt hyggemusik i baggrunden. Eks: Richard Claydermann eller lign.

Godt hotel. Men vi fik et værelse tæt på restauranten og høj musik/dans til sent på aftenen. Ligger lige udenfor gå afstand, så en cykel er nødvendig, til Marstal centrum og havn.

Okay-ish

The hotel was pretty average, nothing special, but not terrible either. A few things could've been better. The restaurant didn’t offer a regular menu, which was kind of strange but I could deal with it. The early closing time was a bummer, though. The biggest issue was the super thin walls; it was really hard to sleep with all the noise from the other rooms and the hallway. Plus, there was no air conditioning, so my room felt like a sauna!

Fremragende morgenmad

Hotellet var rent og pænt med en fremragende morgenbuffet. Hotellet virkede mere som et kursuscenter. Servicen i receptionen ved ankomst var ikke den bedste oplevelse, men i restauranten var den top. Sengene på rummene var meget smalle. 80 cm brede. Man sov elendigt!

Støj fra både gaden og hotel-gangen

Meget støj, både fra gaden og ift aktivitet på gangen. Meget lydt. Kedeligt værelse hvor solen stof og stegte ind, så der var frygteligt varmt og for meget støj, hvis man åbnede vinduerne. Ligger langt uden for byen. På den positive side var personalet meget venligt og fælles arealerne er flotte.

I toppen med lidt ridser

D vi ankom til hotel lå nøglen klar i receptionen som var lukket. Gik ind og købte to kaffe, der var er stort selvskab af ældre mennesker der havde det sjovt. Fem minutter efter vi fik kaffen og sad og hyggede os blev vi bedt om og rejse os og gå ud i gang arealet da denne afd skulle lukke med og låses. Værelse var ganske fint. Eneste minusser dårligt indeklima og toiletpapir holder sad fast så svært og få papiret ud. Om morgen super lækker morgen buffet. Men bake off ikke bagt færdig

Dårlig oplevelse på en ellers skøn Ø

Rimelig venlig, men kort modtagelse selv om der ikke var travlt. Værelset var umiddelbart pænt, men ved nærmere eftersyn var der mange pletter og hul på gulvtæppet. Der var kun 1 stikkontakt helt ude ved døren. Der var meget lyt og dårlig akustik, så man kunne høre hvad der blev sagt selv om de sad på andre værelser. Den dårlige akustik resulterede i at hver gang nogle gik ind og ud af deres værelser smækkede døren med et brag og man vågnede igen, hvilket gav meget lidt søvn. Senere var der et busselskab med kun voksne (ældre) men meget støjende til langt ud få natten, man skulle tro det var grissefest. Vi prøvede at reklamere men blev meget arrogant afvist. Meget dårlig oplevelse.

Super fint hotel

Et virkeligt skønt personale vi mødte ved ankomsten. Et fint hotel, hvor vores økonomiværelse var meget fint, så de dyrere værelser må absolut være til UG.
Et lille minus var at automaten med snoller ikke kunne tage betalingskort , og personalet havde ikke mulighed for at veksle/ hjælpe os.

Fint hotel som dog mangler lidt Ærø-stemning

Jeg har overnattet to gange på hotellet og har haft gode oplevelser begge gange. Det er efter bogen med service, faciliteter mv.
Hotellet er dig lidt anonymt i mine øjne - jeg kunne godt savne lidt Ærø-stemning.

Ingen ala carte ☹️

Et ganske fornuftigt hotel til en ferie. Ligge lidt langt væk fra havneområdet og gågaden, ellers OK.
Det er dog kun muligt at få dagens middag, som gentages over 3 dage, noget ensformigt.

Overvejende skuffende..
Værelserne var rene, men slidte.
Personalet var nærmest usynligt..
Ingen service fra receptionen. Vi blev ikke introduceret for stedet, ingen hilste da vi kom og gik, i løbet af dagen og ingen spurgte om vi havde haft en godt ophold.
Absolut ingen service!!!

God velkomst. Godt værelse, som var flot rent og virkede ny istandsat. Alt fungerede. God seng. Godt badeværelse med god stor bruseniche. Der kunne godt have været en hylde på badeværelset til toiletsager og lign.

Godt ated med plads til lidt forbedring

Vi havde et godt ophold, maden var fantastisk og fællesarelaer og område var skønt.
Vi var lidt skuffet over at poolen var lukket, uden at dette var meddelt på forhånd (havde børn med), og så var værelserne rimelig out of date, med meget dårlige senge.
Overordnet havde vi dog en god oplevelse og servicen var i top!

Men en overnatning til 1395,- og man kunne ikke bruge hotellets faciliteter, endsige få aftensmad, og madrasserne var slidte, så syntes jeg opholdet var alt for dyrt

Skønt ophold

Vi har haft en enkelt overnatning , 2 voksne og to børn. Rigtigt dejligt hotel, med meget venligt og service- minded personale. Børnene nåede en tur i den dejlige pool, og vi vokse nåede en drinks i happy hour i baren. Der var pænt og nydeligt på hele hotellet. Vi spiste morgenmad der også, og den var rigtig lækker. Et ophold der kan anbefales .

Problemer med at tjekke ud

Der kunne godt være lidt flere når man skal tjekke ud.
En kunde havde problemer med sit gavekort (beløbet var større en regningen) det gav en lang kø. Vi er jo nogle det tjekker ud i god tid så man kan nå en færge og ikke stresse og det hjalp dette problem ikke på.

Blandingsbatteri bruser virker ikke, endte var vandet meget varmt, eller kun koldt.
Hovedpuden var af syntetisk materiale og tyk, kunne ikke anvendes.
Aftensmad, buffet var under al kritik for et hotel at være, fast food, det meste havde været i en frituregryde, over stegt og smagte ens

Lugten i værelset var indelukket. Troede at man kunne spise i restauranten i længere tid. Vi kom først ind med færgen ved 20 tiden og troede at vi kunne få mad på hotellet. 😱
