This is a very old property with zero sound proof. The shower was so tiny that we touch the curtains and the wall. Not even a single luggage rack or table to put your luggage on. We booked basic on the excellent reviews but seem to be about a totally different place. Are they fake??

This is in the heart of the central district in Granada. A few bus stops away from the main train station. Very convenient. Lots of food options. Staff helpful. Just don't try to drive there - not worth nerve wreck negotiating those little alleys.

Good location. Hop on hop off drop is just down the street. Was quiet, front of hotel is off a small pedestrian street. The room was basic with no frills but was large. AC and hot water worked great. Staff was friendly and helpful. They have maps of the area at the front desk, just ask. Easy taxi ride from Train station. Hotel arranged for a taxi on our check-out day.

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and a great place to stay. At first glance, I wasn't sure it was all that nice. Staff inside very informative and helpful. There is a small elevator that moves between floors, so max of people with luggage is 2. Location is outstanding with most attractions walking distance.

The staff at the hotel were all nice - even the cleaning staff said hello to me.
I guess the rooms need to be soundproof as I could hear everything coming from the corridor and the other rooms. It wasn’t noisy, but felt a bit uncomfortable.
The room was not new but well cleaned, the bed was big enough.

Great location

The room was of average size, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was modern, clean and large with bath and shower. The shower worked very well but it was only hand-held. All it needed was a hook in the tiled wall which would have made a lot of difference. There was a fair amount of noise from other rooms and an incredibly loud plumbing noise every morning and sometimes during the night when other guests used their shower or wc which woke us up several times. The hotel is right in the centre with many shops, tappas bars, restaurants and tourist attractions just a few steps away.

Pleasant stay in Granada.

Service was friendly, very helpful and 24hour at reception. The room was pleasant - and quiet when the windows were closed. Air conditioning was quiet making it possible to keep on through the night if necessary. It was very convenient for the centre of Granada and an easy walk up to the Albaicin. The area felt safe to walk in after midnight on my own. Very convenient for restaurants. cafes, the city tour bus (recommended for spotting where you want to go back to visit at more length).

Location is great with the hotel being a hop, skip, and jump away from the Granada cathedral. The room and bathroom was surprisingly large. Beds aren’t the most comfortable, but there is an air unit in the room which is a plus! Only negative is that they have cards to activate the electricity in the room, so once you leave everything turns off. We wanted to leave some things to charge in our room but realized after a day away from the room, that even the outlets power is cut off.

Granada the wonderful.

I have visited Granada many times over the years, it's atmosphere is infectious, you almost want to dance in the street. The Tapas bars are the best in Spain, and the scenic walk from the Alhambra, back to town is fantastic. The Sacromonte Hotel is slap bang in the town centre, walking distance of all Granada has to offer.

They offered me the Emergency staff room that was stinky

The so-called hotel failed to honour our online reservation, claiming they never received it. This was not true because they asked us later if they could cancel it (when we found an alternative accommodation for the stay). It could be a simple mistake but, given how they tried to cover it, it is more likely they pick and choose their guests based on the duration of their stay (we only stayed in Granada for a single night so we were not ‘good enough’ for them?).
I am glad we didn’t stay there as the hotel needs modernisation (based on the outdoor and reception area). The alternative hotel we stated in was better in every aspect and cheaper. Don’t recommend staying there.

Good hotel, but can be noisy

Great location, near lots of restaurants and things to do. Good welcome and service.
My friends' room was fine, smelled a bit. However mine was very small, smelled of cigarette (supposed to be non-smoking), and worst of all, it was on the street - though the street was pedestrian-only, it was very noisy at night and I barely slept 2 nights out of 3. I would stay there again, but only if I was guaranteed to have a room not on the street. No breakfast available, but several options nearby.

Do not book this hotel if you wish to have a good night sleep.
The floors are all stone and the walls are paper thin. We could literally hear the conversations in the room next door. Long conversations till about 1 a.m. each night. Plus the toddler. We stayed there for three nights and didn't get a single good night sleep.
The receptionist on check in didn't speak any English at all and carried on explaining the rules of the stay in Spanish despite the fact that we kept saying we could not understand a thing. The most upsetting was the fact that he didn't even try to say basics in English and carried on like he didn't care at all. The only receptionist speaking English was a young girl we met on our check out when we were pretty frustrated by then with the lack of sleep and overall with the hotel. Will not stay there again.

Hotel was ideal as a base. Man at reception was great with checking in and giving information about area. He only spoke Spanish apparently, but we were able to get by. No kettle or fridge in rooms, no tea/coffee or food facilities in hotel, although you can buy cold drinks from fridge in foyer.
Ideal location. In heart of shopping and eating areas, and can get buses from centre to Alhambra and Albeicin areas.
So, overall is a great base from which to see the beautiful city, but really just somewhere to sleep.

The hotel is found at the very centre of Granada - only around 5 minutes on foot to reach the Cathedral and buses which go to the Alahambra/ Albaycin. The hotel is comfortable and the staff were very helpful, especially the young female receptionist who gave us a map and indicated all the things we can do in Granada.

I arrived early but was allowed straight into the room without any hassle. The staff were all very helpful with all the necessary information. The rooms were very clean and made up beautifully every day. It is in the centre of town a short walk from the bus up to the Alhambra or Sacromonte and there are plenty of great options nearby for breakfast, as there are no facilities at the hotel.

Hotel easy to find, very close to the Cathedral. Close to centre of Granada and in a location making it easy to get to many of the well known tourist attractions. Room and facilities clean. One member of the reception staff speaks excellent information and is able to give detailed (and as we found, accurate) information. This hotel is very typical of a mainland European tourist hotel. It was not our first choice but having stayed there we will look to book here on any other future visit to Granada.

Initially I was a little underwhelmed by the room, mainly it's size. But I only paid only about fifty bucks a night, so for that price it's actually a great deal. The location is very and central to everything. But I was really won iver by the front desk people. They were all so nice and made me feel so welcomed. I'd gladly stay here again.

Hotel is very central, couldn't have asked for a better location. Explored everything pretty much on foot, lots of restaurants and bars close by. Very close to the stunning cathedral and Isabel plaza, where you can get buses for alhambra. Hotel room was simple but very clean and a good size. Hotel reception staff super helpful and friendly. Would stay here again, absoute gem for the price we paid!

Great hotel for the money in a superior location

The location of the hotel is great for visiting the attractions in Granada. Room was very nice. Only complaint is that it took a long time for the room to cool down since the AC shuts off when you leave and it was 106F when we were there. There is no hotel parking so best bet is to drive and drop off your stuff, then park the car where the receptionist recommends. Parking varies from 16 to 22 a day in the area.
