Nice and modern hotel, Lack of some amenities like other 4 stars hotel : kettle in room,coffee...in room.Internet wifi very spotty. I have to reboot my phone all the time. Wifi signal is weak in my room. In there other word, it is a good hotel but need some improvement. Parking rate is expensive too. Ihotel give you a voucher good for 24 hours, if you park more than 24 hour, and need to go some where, you have to pay extra on top of 17 Euro/24hours. It does not has privilege get in and out many times as you want.

El check in no fue bueno tuvimos que esperar una hora después para que nos entregaran la Habitacion porque no estaba lista, sin hablar de el aire acondicionado de la Habitacion Que era pesimo y Los trabajadores solo dan excusas sabiendo que todos los huespedes se quejan de lo mismo y ellos saben que es el mecanismo que tiene la administracion del hotel para ahorrar electricidad solo justifican en fin no recomiendo a nadie que visite este hotel,es una pena que pagues un Servicio que no es barato y no sea como debe ser o por lo menos como dice cuando rentas

The rooms are very basic. The hotel is located just outside the older moorish district. Breakfast was above basic but not a total buffet. However for 11 euros it was a good deal to get the day going. The team didn’t seem to know the neighborhood when asking them for suggestions. But they were polite.

So disappointing, cleanliness not good enough

Over 2 weeks in Spain we stayed in 5 hotels. This was the most expensive (by a fair way) and the most disappointing.

Negatives:
* Significant mould in bathroom - 1 stain above bidet was 1 metre long by about 5cm wide. Other stains on tile grout/silicon/shower screen edge etc. more common, but still not great
* Floor edge cleanliness in bathroom was poor
* Soundproofing felt non-existent, voices and TV from adjoining rooms and corridor always seemed loud
* Clean coffee cups not provided daily
* No tea or coffee provided

Positives
* Kettle and fridge
* Comfortable bed and pillows
* Location right next to tram stop (for easy access to rail and bus stations)
* Plenty of bars/restaurants nearby
* Right next to a supermarket (though it doesn't open on Sundays)

Granada is an amazing city, but having stayed in hotels for as little as €30/night elsewhere in Spain, for over €100/night we expected so much better.

Disappointed. Room was dark. Not enough light. Small window facing roof. We were assured to get one double or king bed . Instead, we got two small beds put together. Pillow was one long pillow on bed. Hard to adjust or sit up in bed. Pillow covers had black spots. Only one small chair and table to sit. Not comfortable. No iron. No hot water kettle or coffee in room. Phone didn’t work in room. We bought breakfast buffet. Looks better online but place is little dirty floors. Only two coffee machine for a large buffet area. Only two people working there. No extra cups to get another coffee or tea. You have to use your same cup again. Butter was actually fake butter. Reception desk wasn’t very helpful. No service offered for tours of city sights seeing. Restaurant didn’t have much vegetation food and staff wasn’t helpful. I thought I was booking a very nice place, but other than lobby, nothing impressive.

Good position in Granada. Metro stop within two minutes walk and car park about the same . 16 euros for 24 hours. The hotel was very clean , good WiFi and a safe provided free of charge . Breakfast was buffet style and offered a good variety .
The cathedral and main tourist area was 10-15 minutes walk . It was on a main road but we had no problem with noise . Excellent shower/bathroom facilities .

The main Hotel areas are very clean and modern. Room needed a few minor repairs but nothing that affect my stay.

No coffee or tea facilities in the room and the air conditioning did not cool much… more like a fan.

Service in the Bar/Restaurant was very slow and food not great.

Excellent value for money. Granada is not big at all and this hotel was in an ideal location walking distance from the city centre. The rooms were a little tired and need a tidy up but for the amount we paid, it was more than worth it. The room was small but double bed. The last night there was some sort of water leak and this kept us up for 2 hours which was not ideal but a smallish thing.

Top service, some maintenance issues

We stayed at Urban Dream for one night on New Year's Eve and were pleased with the experience. The service was great - whilst the lone receptionist was busy, she tended to everyone efficiently and was very nice and helpful. The first room we were given had an odd smell (probably from the New Years meal being cooked in the hotel restaurant, mostly fish) and she let us move into a new one. The rooms are quite nicely decorated and clean although some maintenance could be improved (painting, the bathrooms). Location is great.

A lovely modern hotel in a quiet part of the city within walking distance to the historic areas, welcoming staff with excellent English for those of us with limited Spanish vocabulary, rooms spacious, very clean, comfy beds, full bathroom suite, toiletries, fluffy towels etc. (please note: no tea/coffee making facilities but this is not unusual), breakfast reasonably priced and plentiful with a good range of hot and cold items all very tasty, discounted car parking in an underground car park a short walk away €14.50 for a 24 hour stay so not bad at all for a city centre, overall a brilliant one night stay, Granada is a wonderful city so much to see/do and the fantastic Alhambra Palace & Castle is a must (pre-book or you probably won't get in on the day and the visit inside the palace is timed but at €14 per adult it's fantastic value!). Oh and if you've time go up the road as far as you can to the Sierre Nevadas its stunning up there!

If you have a car they use a paid garage down the street two blocks costs about 14 Euro a night. A long (30 - 40 min) walk to the Alhambra and 10 min to the old city.

Nice hotel, handy for city centre

Handy for city centre (10 min walk I would say), room has laminated floor not carpet so a little echoey. Facilities as provided are all effective though the shower is a little variable (one day was fine, the next kept getting too hot, also takes a while to get to your selected temperature as the shower head holds a lot of water). There is a fridge for your use but no kettle or tea/coffee in the room (bit of a shock for UK travellers, though common enough in Europe). No iron either if you care, though there is a hairdryer. The TV only has 2 English language channels - CNN and Bloomberg - both heavily biased towards finance and stock market / US news. There is wifi though.

The room service menu is an eye-opener: a lot of very fine dining available. The room has no table or chairs though so I don't think you would want this unless you are in a room with better facilities.

Everything was spotlessly clean.

Great location and value - but noisy rooms

The hotel is well located in terms of public transport with regular buses passing. The local area is also great for eating tapas style but there are few more formal restaurants as best we could determine. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was great value (didn't need lunch afterwards), and the room was nicely appointed and relatively spacious. The only drawback was the sleep quality - this is an old building which has been recently renovated to a high standard except for sound insulation. Noises from other rooms and the common areas seemed to be attenuated and penetrated the room during the night and morning.

disappointing, half of the room amenities were or broken or missing - no mini bar, no coffee/tea facility as per room description. Shower head broken, shower leaking, wc flush not working properly, bad noise insulation and to finish, we asked for a picnic breakfast as we were heading early to the alhambra, they prepared us some disgusting toasts, and weeks old fruits (15euros for both). Ok i'm not expecting people to guess what I like to eat, but a minimum of decency would be nice... all in all not recommended.

Semana Blanca stay at Urban Dream

We stayed as a family of 4 (2 young children), we had a room with a double twin, which slept us at a squeeze, because the hotel did not have any available folding beds for the duration of our stay, however it was our choice to stay under those conditions. The room was clean enough, however under the beds had a tendency to be neglected and we almost ran out of toilet roll as it was not refilled. We had to ask for a kettle. Closet only had 4 hangers. TV usb was open which was good so the kids could watch movies in English.The location was good for access to and from the A44 and the old quarter of Granada was 10-15 mins walk from the hotel. There is a Dia supermarket next door but one, which is handy for supplies when sightseeing.

Overall, we enjoyed out stay at the Urban Dream. The hotel staff was very accommodating and friendly. The free breakfast buffet was very good. The location was also very good. The rooms could have been cleaner and the shower was not good (temperature control) and bathroom small. But, this is a very good value hotel and we would stay there again. It would be great if they would do a better job of cleaning the rooms.

Disappointing superior room!

As this was a 4 night stay to celebrate my birthday I chose a superior room. I thought that it was strange that our wardrobe had no doors, as often occurs in the budget hotels, but it wasn't until the following day that we were able to view another of the guest rooms and then realised the wardrobe should have doors. Reception offered to change our room at this point but we had unpacked all of our things. I am deeply upset that we were given this room as a superior room in the first place- it should surely have been out of use until the doors were replaced! The bed was exceptionally hard and gave me back problems. There is only 1 ceiling downlight, and a number of lamps with black shades, resulting in the room being poorly illuminated.
Between the loo and the washbasin there was just 30cm of space - my husband said he could clean his teeth while sitting on the loo.
The spa isn't in the hotel but in a gym a 100m further down the street.
We chose this hotel because of the attractive, modern decor which it has. It was also easy to locate, as we came by car, and there was an excellent underground car park nearby which only cost €13.20 per day.

The Urban Dream Hotel offered a comfortable and very clean room at an affordable price. Wifi worked as one would expect. The location was a bit of a walk to the historical district, but not as such that one would consider it too far. The kind receptionists were always spot on in giving directions. Very recommendable.

This place is conveniently located, and comes with a sensible price tag.

But the staff isn's always up to par.
Their attitude at check-in was indifferent, to say the least. There wasn't really a greeting – the most urgent matter seemed to check my ID.

The attitude from the staff at front desk changed between indifferent, effective, nice and warm to indifferent again.
DWO... you've got some training to do.

I should add that the cleaners were always cheerful and did never fail to greet you (also – they did a good job –the room was always clean).

The hotel had only one working elevator, which turned into a nuisance.
Breakfast wasn't consistent. Some days, it lacked what was offered yesterday.
And little things... like having to replace my keycard twice during a three-night stay. Such thing puts a dent in the experience.

Still; it's a hotel that offers you a good location for a decent price. So, dear hotel management, I'm not expecting anything top notch.
But a cheerful hello upon check-in, or when you pass the front desk, will not cost you anything.

Check-in tôt et très professionnel. Le restaurant à côté est un plus. Le petit déjeuner est bien fourni. La climatisation est très efficace mais pas très silencieuse. L’hôtel en général aurait besoin d’un léger rafraîchissement (tout est encore très correct, mais les salles de bain, les couloirs, quelques mobiliers et finitions devraient être revus). La chambre en elle-même est agréable et donne une bonne impression générale. La propreté est bonne. Le parking à proximité est pratique, et les lignes de bus du centre-ville passent en bas. Un supermarché est à côté.
En somme, bon hôtel pour une escale courte à Grenade.

Pensaba que iba a un hotel de 4 estrellas, pero me he encontrado uno de dos o menos, habitación extremadamente pequeña, aseo mas bien antiguo y con deficiencias, me tocó en una quinta planta y con un solo ascensor muy complicado bajar o subir sobre todo con los auxiliares de planta, superamables, pero subiendo y bajando, por supuesto su trabajo pero sin poder los huespedes bajar o subir.
La verdad es que suelo viajar bastante y este hotel no lo recomendaría nunca, es triste decirlo lo se, pero seguro que no es un hotel de 4 estrellas

El personal muy amble. Le falta una piscina. En Granada hace demasiado calor para no tener una piscina. Por lo demas esta bien. Habitaciones hermosas y limpias.

La ubicación del hotel, muy buena.
La habitación, como era triple, muy grande y bastante bien pero el primer día di parte de que el frigorífico no funcionaba y así se ha quedado durante nuestra estancia. Además el secador que había en el cuarto de baño, también dimos parte porque no funcionaba. Por lo demás, todo bien.

Excellente expérience compte-tenu du prix absolument fou, et du fait que nous avons réservé à 22h00 pour le soir même, en plein mois de juillet!
Tout aurait été parfait, si la climatisation n’avait pas été aussi bruyante. Le bidule a l’air d’être en fin de vie, le système est antédiluvien, et le chahut toute la nuit à la hauteur. Heureusement, nous étions tellement épuisés par la journée de marche au soleil que nous avons dormi comme des bébés sur les excellents lits.

Poor noise insulation at each room door

POOR noise insulation, in particular at each room entrance door. There is a big hole between the bottom of the room door and floor with no insulation.

Great stay! The room was spacious, clean, and quiet, with very comfortable mattresses. The location is excellent—close to metro and bus stops, plus a supermarket and lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. The lobby is cozy and inviting. Most of the reception staff were very friendly and helpful, though one receptionist seemed a bit disengaged.
