My superior sapa room was lovely, clean, and well appointed. Very comfortable bed, great shower and the decor all very tropical. Staff were excellent- helpful, attentive, friendly and spoke English. Restaurant had a full menu with both western and Vietnamese options to suit everyone. Breakfast is included and again has lots of options. The resort is beautiful and kept impeccably clean. The ocean did have a bit of litter in it but that went away once the winds picked up. Really enjoyed my stay here.

I’ve loved this place for years and have always had wonderful memories here — which is why what happened today felt so disappointing. I invited two friends to join me for lunch, something that’s always felt natural and welcoming before. But after we’d settled in and ordered, a staff member came over and bluntly told us outside guests weren’t allowed and we had to leave — in a nearly empty space. It was honestly humiliating.
What made it worse was being charged for items we never even received, followed by complete silence — no apology, no explanation. For somewhere I once trusted and enjoyed so much, this felt incredibly disheartening. Thankfully, there are plenty of other resorts nearby that still understand what genuine hospitality means.

We didn't really want to leave!

We didn't really want to leave!! We had an amazing 6 nights there and enjoyed every minute of it. The only negative would be that the menu for lunch/dinner remained the same the whole time (bar one specials night) so we ate at other restuarants a couple of nights.

We had an excellent 5 day stay at Sailing Club resort. The hotel was beautiful and just as described. The pool was glorious as was the sea! Especially wish to thank Chien who made us feel like VIPs throughout the stay, the quality of the service was in general was exceptional when he was on shift!

Gorgeous property with an outstanding restaurant. The food was delicious. We did the romantic dinner on the beach and it was superb.

My only criticisms are that 1) the resort has no gym or exercise room - nearest gym is 10km away; 2) no irons or ironing boards were available when requested. Staff offered to send the garment away in the laundry, but just a quick ironing was all that was needed; and 3) there was quite a bit of trash and alge on the beach and in the water that made swimming impossible. It would have been a much more pleasant experience if the sand had been groomed.

Staff were wonderful - especially the restaurant staff.

Truly impressed by the Sailing Club for its consistently excellent service, staff, food, and well maintained property. My wife and have been going for many many years and it remains one of our favorite and most reliable getaways. Wonderful resort but in such an aggressive and downright frightening neighborhood. Really too bad as the beach and resort were great, but my wife and I really did not feel safe on our beach front unit as the locals on the beach selling things get really really mad and yelling if you buy off someone other than them. One local had a huge fight with another as she said as we looked at her first. Then another joined and it turned into a screaming match right were we were laying on the beach. We
Had to move as it just would not end and the looks of hate we were getting were just so over the top. Clearly there is a street code on the beach, but we just bought a coconut off a passing vendor with the intent of spreading some of the money to the locals directly, but wow was that a mistake. On the street out front you have restaurants suggesting you eat at their place aggressively and when you say no thank you, they ask why not and follow you a little pressuring you. There was the lady carrying a baby waving all the tourists down which we were warned was a scam. All these things in just 2 days really sucked the fun out of it. Sad as this sort of behaviour is such a turn off and naturally we will not return. Hate to leave a bad review as the resort was awesome. Just wrong location. Hope the local government can fix as it looks like the area Mui Ne is getting a bad reputation. We can see why. Other areas, Nah Trang, Da Nangn Hoi Anne and Hue were all fine and present.

There were 3 entrances to our bungalow unit but we were given keys to only 2 of them.The hotel staff had to come and locked up the third one.We stayed only 1 night and did not have time to experience the facilities.The breakfast was good.We intend to return for a longer stay.

Nice resort

The resort is very well maintained. There are a lot of plants and flowers all around, creating a really nice and relaxed vibes. We stayed in a bungalow near to the pool, nicely designed with an open rooftop shower (you can shower under the sun or moon)! The restaurant serves really good food, so good that we had all meals at the restaurant throughout our two nights stay. The only negative part is the lack of facilities and activities, and the pool is too small.

We have lived in Vietnam for a number of years and this is the 4th time we have stayed at Mia Resorts. We actually just discovered the place 3 years ago. We have checked out all of the resorts in Mui Ne and this is the absolutely the nicest place to stay. The pool area is a #10, the food is a #10 and their staff are is a #10. We loved just hanging out in our room with windows on two sides, surrounded by a tropical garden..

We had a truly relaxing stay at Mia Resort Mui Ne. We spent most of our time in our room with a separate sitiing area looking out to the garden, then to the small but nice pool looking out to the beach.

One thing we noticed and wasn't really happy about was the attitude of the staff serving breakfast. They seemed to take better care of the foreign guests than Vietnamese ones like us, despite the fact that we have paid the same amount of money for room and services in the resort. When I asked them to make a bowl of noodles, they told me to take my own spices and herbal leaves but when a foreign couple ordered the same food, they prepared and brought everything straight to their table. And they always forgot to ask us how we felt about our meal, which they always remembered to ask the other guests?

At the end of our stay, we had a mixed feeling of whether or not we should stay here again.

Beautiful, Relaxing and Attentive Staff

We had an absolutely amazing time. The hotel was extremely comfortable, the staff was attentive and the area was beautiful. We'd go back in a heartbeat and would HIGHLY recommend to others. We traveled with our 5 month old baby (which isn't always easy) but the hotel helped make it as easy as possible. The only reason I have the local area a middle rating is that we didn't explore much, there is plenty to see and do but with a baby we pretty much stayed at the resort.

The hotel's decor and design was very nice, and the staff at the front desk was helpful in booking us a sunrise tour and booking a sleeper bus. The breakfast buffet had a great variety and the restaurant is right next to the pool which is located right beside the beach. I was extremely pleased with my stay at Mia Resort.

Nice, well managed resort close to the beach

The resort is clean, quiet, well managed and clearly popular with both Vietnamese and foreign tourists. 'Sandals' restaurant has a good reputation and we were not disappointed. The staff are good. We had a Superior Bungalow which was very comfortable. My wife was delighted to find a bath - but a little surprised by the outdoor shower!

Mia backs onto a street with plenty of local shops and restaurants - and ATMs. Local places are cheaper than Sandals but not as inviting. Taxis are plentiful and reasonable.

Mui Ne has a breeze most days - so a favoured place for kite surfers. The sea is not usually very calm so be prepared for waves. The pool at Mia has its shallowest part in the middle. It's good for cooling off but not for great for swimming; this may be a problem if you are not happy in the sea. It should be fine for for kids but car is needed with the step changes in depth.

My guide book says the police closed all the beach shacks in 2013; it's a real shame. There is a beach bar about 400m away and a couple of the other resorts have restaurants that seem happy to take visitors - but beach life centres around the kite surfing schools. The beach is well used by locals and fills up after work and at weekends; not a problem and nice to see people enjoying themselves.

If one is looking to just get out of Saigon for a weekend, i find Mia to continue to be one of the best bets. It takes 3.5 hours now by car and two full days are a great recharge.

Mia is on the whole a nice resort, right on the beach in Mui ne. The staff and service are good. However, we have a big complaint about the sound proof of the room, it's very bad. We stayed on the 2nd floor, and we can hear people in the room next door, disturbing our sleep. The neighbor was not extremely loud, but we think the sound proof quality of the rooms is bad!!

Wonderful Beach Break

We had a wonderful time at Mia Resort Mui Ne! Despite a bit of rain, we had a lot of time on the beach in the sun. Our room (a beach front bungalow) was very spacious and airy with its own front porch. The staff were very attentive and friendly and helped teach us Vietnamese! The manager Lionel was also very friendly and was keen to see how we were enjoying everything. We highly recommend the cocktails (especially the Mia Tai) and the food was absolutely fabulous - breakfast was huge and delicious and so was the rest of the menu. You must try the Banh Xeo - one of our favourite Vietnamese dishes!

Our stay at Mia was overall nice. The hotel is 10 years old or so but the rooms are in good condition and comfortable. The hotel is located where there is still sand and a beach in Mui Ne. The pool is small but nice although the water was never cold just warm. There aren't too many loud families or kids that stay here which is nice. The ac worked well which is good since it was so hot and there is a shade that can be drawn for privacy into the clear glass shower and open bathroom. The general manager has exceptional attention to detail to ensure guests are comfortable. The reception and beach staff are helpful. The breakfast is good allowing a choice off a breakfast menu and a buffet. The main frustration is that the restaurant and pool wait staff have no idea what is on the menu, describe food items incorrectly, have no idea what sides come with it, don't listen and are not familiar with non-Vietnamese food that is on the menu. A couple examples, a drink described with lemonade came with soda water, sugar and a sliced lime and 3 staff including a breakfast manager insisted it was lemonade. Or meat I asked to be well done for health precaution was red even though it was requested and emphasized in Vietnamese that it should be well with no red meat. The staff did correct or replace the food or drink with each incident but you wouldn't expect this from a 4 star hotel.

Mia Resort is a serene oasis of Mui Ne.

Mia Resort's eco friendly design is serene and delightful.You feel like you are far away from a busy town.You don't have to leave the place:the pool is over looking the beach,always kept clean by the most attentive staff.You have the most spectacular show of kate surfers trying their skills every day and the refreshments and complimentary fresh fruit is brought to your beach chair.The food at Sandals is splendid and served at the beautiful outdoor setting with the lights flickering at night.I cant't praise the Manager enough for his ability to oversee his staff so well,for greeting the guests by their first name and for making you feel so welcome.Every member of the staff has been the most helpful and sweet.
Let's not forget the Spa.I had the the best body and foot massage,manicure and pedicure.All in the heavenly garden setting with the peaceful background
music and white curtins gently flowing,sipping delicious lemongrass tea.

We absolutely loved Mia Resort. Everything about it was perfect. Location is right on the beach, they also have a lovely pool with plenty of loungers, they have free wifi throughout the resort - even extending to some of the loungers on the beach. The bed in our double room was enormous which was lucky as we made a mistake and only booked for two adults and we had a 10 year old with us and we all shared the bed with ease.

The restaurant is really good and they also have a spa.

It is very family friendly and I think almost all the guests while we were there had children with them.

Perfect relaxation

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we felt utterly spoilt and completely relaxed. The hotel itself as well as the setting on Mui Ne beach is beautiful - better than the photos. Our room was one of the beach front villas and well worth the extra cash for the prime location and gorgeous, uninterrupted views of sand, sea and sky from the terrace area. The food is great, using the freshest of local (and other) ingredients to create Vietnamese or fusion dishes that show a great understanding of flavour and are unbelievably good value. The staff were all fantastic - friendly, efficient - and in particular the manager. I could go on much longer about all the careful touches that made this place special. Despite all this perfection, it is a totally relaxing place to be - not formal or uptight, just a fantastic place to stay on the beach. Whether you want to kite surf, or just relax in the sunshine, I 100% recommend this place.

Incredible Food. Beautiful Setting.

Having fled the Pandanus resort at the other end of town after a quite simply appalling check-in, we booked Mia in somewhat of a panic and arrived 15 minutes later. Check-in was excellent and set the tone for a sustained high quality of service. For example there were British speaking managers on site who were extremely hospitable, professional and friendly. The pool area was clean, elegant and opens up on to the beach which is huge, relatively flat and very quiet. The highlight here though is the food within the hotel restaurant. It was the highest quality cooking that we experienced whilst in Vietnam and if you go, be sure to order the Chicken Prawn Laksa. The only personal negative for us was the lack of atmosphere and other guests around the hotel. However we did visit slightly out of season so the whole of Mui Ne was pretty empty, thus certainly not a criticism of Mia.

This was always going to be a special trip as it celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary, so we were delighted to find that the resort exceeded our expectations on just about every level. The staff are first class and cannot do enough to help, the rooms ( we had a bungalow ) was large and spacious and the bathroom with it's unique open air shower was something else.The only downside on the whole trip is the journey from Ho chi min city to the resort as it took over 5 hours due to the road being under repair almost all of the way. ( the driver and transport from the resort at least made it a comfortable journey.)

Amazing stay at the sailing club

We spent an incredible seven nights at this charming beachfront boutique hotel and couldn’t have been happier with our stay. The spacious rooms were impeccably clean, with comfortable beds ensuring a good sleep. The beautifully maintained gardens created a peaceful, secluded atmosphere, making us feel wonderfully removed from the hustle and bustle beyond the resort.

We indulged in the spa four times and were consistently impressed—each massage was excellent. The staff were always warm, attentive, and eager to assist, especially while we relaxed by the pool. Though their English could be improved, it never posed an issue.

The kitesurfing school was a highlight of our trip. We took lessons every day with Den, a highly professional instructor who made the experience feel both safe and exhilarating.

While the food may not have been the absolute best we’ve had in Vietnam, it was still excellent, with plenty of variety. We never felt the need to dine elsewhere. Breakfast was particularly good, offering both a buffet and à la carte options.

Overall, this hotel provided a truly relaxing and enjoyable experience, and we would gladly return!
