Having our own pool was amazing and it was cleaned everyday by a very pleasant happy man who made it sparkle. The staff at reception were fantastic, the fresh fruit at breakfast was delicious, and we were looked after by the staff and tried some lovely meals at the restaurant. Friendly staff, beautiful surroundings, relaxing stay.

We stayed 4 nite - first 3 nite all western &international peoples - very nice and quiet - no loud music - have about 6-8 kids but they not play loud at all - day 4 they have about 20 viet peoples check in - 3 kids - place turn TOO LOUD - they all yelling to each other -
They took pool for them self
All peoples sun tan at pool we all leave the same time

This is my 2nd stay at this resorts, the property's condition is very bad, needed renovation. I am from here don't want to leave the nagative review but this property needed renovation immediately. We booked private villa with swimming pool, the downstairs room is not suitable for staying with the horrible smell and the electricity is not working property.
Please renovation and clean the property.

The staff are excellent at this resort.
The resort itself is a little tired.
The breakfast buffet was a let down, especially for a 4* resort.
The area was beautiful though inside the resort. Phan Thiet and Mui Ne just a short taxi ride away in different directions. Mui Ne had restaurants and shops and beaches.
Great for a 3 day relax if your travelling lots.

Overall not happy with this place

Overall not happy with this place. Building is old, definitely not a 4 star. We booked 1 villa and 6 rooms. Check in took so long because they only have one person working and she was not a happy person. Maybe over work? Staff from the breakfast were ok. Breakfast was also ok since it was included. We are gold member with Hotels.com and we were suppose to get free room upgrade, early check in, late check out and they did not honour any of these. Even those they had lots of vacant rooms (during COVID). Indeed they called an hr before check out to remind you not to be late checking out. Very unprofessional. I spoke with the manager Hai, he said they didn't sign up with Hotels.com for this promotion. I showed him the Hotels.com app and he still argued with me. He was trying to help but I guess this is the way low-medium end hotel/resort operate in Vietnam.

NOT a 4 star resort. More like a 3 star

Check in was very slow. This resort is old. It was raining on the day we checked in. The roof in the reception was leaking ever where. It was so bad that we keep on having to move around so we don't get wet. Ads is very misleading. We booked 2 villas which has 3 rooms each with pool but it's not really a villa. It was 3 separate rooms in the same area. Its does NOT have an indoor living area or kitchen or common area.

The location is secluded, there is no restaurants or anything walking distance, the hotel is a bit tired, the towels are really old, the food wasn’t the best and limited options,the garden in the hotel is nice, the beach needed cleaning, debris from the ocean, the tiles around the pool are coming of, and slippery, the bed sheets some have holes!!!!!the hotels need a refreshment and referbishment, and an upgrade to be a 4 star,I hope they sort out these issues because it’s got potential, covid has hurt them , it can be seen, but they must put an effort in fixing these issues.

This resort offered good services to their customers, eg: shuttle bus to and from the resort to the city center. Although this resort is not brand new, but the conditions of their rooms is acceptable. The resort is located just next to the beach, and have large swimming pool with beach view.

Ocean front villa review-

This was my first time booking this hotel and I’d definitely will never come back. They have a private beach area but there’s nothing much you can do with their beach. We booked a villa ocean front with a private pool. Their breakfast wasn’t great. Always low on food and they hardly put out more food unless you request. Their beds is dirty. We all got bed bug bites and it was pretty bad. There’s also some bugs always flying in the room like tons of them. Especially mosquitos and we got bit pretty bad. It’s a pretty small resort. I’d recommend staying upper MUI NE more. It’s more convenient. We picked this place because it was closer to the city. But then again the city was boring. They didn’t have much things.

I have to pay the extra fee for my 6 years old kid upon check in as I didn't indicate it and given a king size bed ( feel like queen size). The manager explained the extra fee next dat and changed to a double bed room. Overall the place is clean and quiet, it was a pleasant stay.

Great option for relax in Mui Ne / Phan Thiet

We had a villa and it was quiet, clean and spacious. Beds are confortable. The bathroom is alfresco and nice.
The location is a bit isolated but it is a good option for relax. The shops and restaurants area is only 2 EUR taxi away and there are always taxis waiting.
Breakfast is OK but not more. Food in the restaurant is average.
The villa pool is small but enough (it can be overlooked from other villas, so dont expect absolute privacy in the pool) and the general pools are great.
The beach is not the best, so if you are a beach fan you may want to walk to another one, or even taxi/motorbike to the ones that are further away.
In general I would recommend the hotel if the price is adequate.
We had a pleasant and relaxing stay.

Relaxing and quiet

Very relaxing beautiful resort. The villa with private pool and semi outdoor bathroom was fabulous, although the pool was not as private as we expected. The pool cleaning man was present at least once per day and always unannounced. You can see into the pools in other villas also. Regardless we had a very quiet and relaxing stay. Restaurant food was different quality from day to day. Pork ribs fabulous the first time and not nice at all the next day.

Not what I have expected.

The resort is nice, however, staff are very unfriendly, not willing to assist and unprofessional. According to the hotel policy, transportation is provided to the city three times a day, nevertheless, we were told their shuttle broke down and was under repair. We were asked to accommodate our own taxi without reimbursement. We later found out due to slow season the resort doesn't want to provide any transportation as stated on their policy. It was clearly a ripped off and a slap in the face for us.

The whole team of the restaurant started to ignore me the morning following my arrival.

Only because they bring cats in the dining room which is the only restaurant there for breakfast and dinner. It is open space semi outdoor with roof and half wall. The staff let cats go under tables of customers to feed them. Since they are very hungry and skinny.

They are far from the public road. So i know for a fact they live permanently on this resort land. They should deed them. Not let cat no food for few days like baby cat of 5 months old tgat was screaming to death. He was looking at me crying. I gave all my seafood.
Even the staff manager of restaurant ignored me. When he saw me coming from downstair . The girl replaced him at the frontdesk. I am prettysure he let customers feed them to spend more money to order more food. It us the only rational and logical answers. One waitress was nice with me the previous day. Until i talk about the cat and the uk lady next to me too talked thst since two days she feed them. And the staff did not care one bit even if the car was screaming since an hour because no food. This is little money feeding a cat. Only selfish peopkes do that to animals. Animals as the right to live.
If they are hungry it is because the nature of the land is not able to feed them. in the murning i had two ticket for breakfast. I used one for my buffet and one i used to feed the cat. I took some. Meets and dish and asked if they can give that later .

Stay at Romana Resort and Spa

Best way to this resort is to travel by car from Ho Chi Ming City and takes about 4 Hours. We selected to fly to Dal- Lat Airport and this Journey takes you through winding Mountain Route and the visibility is zero with rain and fog.
Pity the resort has no beach or a very small area of beach.
All the staff ensured our stay was most enjoyable .

Good hotel poor restaurant and service

Absolutely the worst restaurant in Vietnam. The new chef doesn't know the menu and invents dishes. Breakfast is a dogs breakfast with no flow, continuity between stations or cuisines.

The bus drop off service to the main town is laughable dropping you off in one spot and then expecting you to stand in the rain for collection.

This resource has yet awesome fabric of a top class hotel but should learn from Bali re:drop off and collection and should seriously appoint a new chef. Lamb rack is. It chops, mashed potatoes are not powder etc.

Phan Thiet & Romana Resorts review

Romana Resort was beautiful- we stayed in their villa which was gorgeous. The view of the ocean was amazing! and their infinity pool very inviting. Breakfast was plentiful- we loved both the Western & Vietnamese cuisine. We found the people of Phan Thiet very friendly, helpful and empathetic. Very touching to see kids and adults so obliging, as we travelled with an aging relative.

I enjoyed my experience here overall. The facilities were recently renovated and the resort grounds were well maintained as far as landscaping and cleanliness. The room was very clean and spacious and we loved the huge king size bed (although it was a bit hard for my taste).

The only complaint I have is the sound-proof quality of the rooms. We were constitenly able to hear our neighbors on both sides even when they were speaking in normal conversational volume. I found this a little bit upsetting. When the neighbors entered their balcony, the ability to hear everything went up significantly. The hotel needs to invest in soundproofing their rooms to provide more privacy for the guests.

As has been mentioned in other reviews, the resort is a tad older than some, but the staff is friendly and helpful. Most speak little English, but the front desk speaks acceptable English and can take care of whatever needs you have. Ms. Vien and Ms. Loan were so helpful. The food is good. The beach is a little worn, but the pools are so nice you may never get to the beach. The value for your money quotient is high. The bus trips into Mui Ne and Phan Thiet are helpful. I spent too long in Mui Ne (most of an evening) but the taxi ride back was very cheap. If you go to Phan Thiet, talk to the reception staff first. It is a little to big to wander around without some direction. If you want more action, you might stay in Mui Ne. But if you want to relax, yet have access to both nearby towns, this is a good choice. The staff is the resorts strongest asset.

Relaxing time but enormous waves

My husband and I had a very relaxed time at Romana. Friendly staff, clean room, great buffet breakfast, nice pools with jacuzzi, it's all worth what we've paid for. However, the beach was a disappointment as beach water was the first thing I was after on that trip. It got lots of shells and very huge waves. Heads-up though, we went to other beaches in Mui Ne and they also have enormous waves, that's why it's a fave place for surfers...but for regular swimming, even the likes of Michael Phelps will find the water very challenging.

Huge Potential - Sad Reality

Probably the worst managed hotel I have ever stayed in. Huge maintenance issues throughout the property. No service at all. Quite unbelievable! No gin at the bar. Plenty of Midori and Blue Curaçao, not much else. Even finding coffee outside meal service hours is impossible.
Poor food hygiene standards. Sanitation issues that are overlooked.
Overall the property could be amazing with a little investment and care.

Had a 2 week stay here with my partner in a 3 bedroomed villa. Everything was perfect. The staff were friendly and helpful and spoke much better English than we spoke Vietnamese! The food was freshly cooked and well presented. Our villa was kept spotless by housekeeping and our pool was serviced every day by the pool attendant. The beautiful grounds in which the hotel stands were excellently maintained by the hard working gardeners and the beach was kept clean all the time.

The resort is located a few minutes drive away from town which makes it quiet and peaceful. Hotel staff were very friendly though English was a bit of a challenge to them ( and to other locals in the area ) we had a serious case of miscommunication which almost cost us to miss our flight back home.

the worst part is receptionest, they are absolutely not friendly with guests and didn't provide proper feedback to guest's requirements, plus, very poor English compare to other resorts' staffs.

Thin curtains daylight at 5. Outdoor bathroom v cute but mosquito prone. Not at all central but v quiet location and isolated beach. Staff helpful when they finally understood. Overall quite good. Lots of stairs if you have a pram. Would i stay again? Not sure.

Romana resort and hotel Mui Ne

We stayed in oceanview room, but first room we received had only poolview. We received without anty problem a new room on top floor which had the promised seaview. However this room was smaller then the first one, but had a nicer terrace.
For a 4 star hotel, rooms are a bit old and outdated and small maintenance problems appear: a lot of television channels are disturbed and there's not enough hot water to take a shower for 2 people right after each other (you have to wait approximately 15 minutes before water heats up again) Hotel is a bit isolated, you have to take the shuttle bus(only twice a day 10 AM and 2PM) or taxi ( 6 USD) to go to the village, where all shops and restaurants are located. Pool and spa are nice, however we stayed in low season, so it seems you are almost the only one in the hotel. Food and beverages are fine, but expensive. Hotel as good promotions for golfers on nearby courses.

Hotellet er kjempefint, og rommene er supre. Bassenget er flott, og strandområdet er også fint. Det som trekker ned er maten på restauranten. Vi feiret julaften der og valgte en spesial julemiddag. Den maten vi her fikk, var så tragisk, at det ødela vår julefeiring fra hjemme. Veldig hyggelig var det da at to søte jenter fra resepsjonen ble med oss og gikk rundt juletreet. Det var helt fantastisk.
Det er også en dårlig holdning blant gjestene ved hotellet, at de legger badehåndkle for å holde av solsenger ved bassenget, og forsvinner i flere timer. Hotellet bør sette opp regler, er du ikke ved bassenget, kan du ikke holde av en seng. det er så lite senger, så det bør ikke være lov å holde av senger. Mye utrivelige russiske gjester som sprenger seg frem og er lite vennlige mot andre gjester men også ansatte trekker ned.

다만, 리조트 & 스파임에도 불구하고, 리조트 내 스파가 3박 내내 문 닫은 점(심지어 첫날 리셉션 직원에게 운영시간을 물었을때, 별다른 안내 없었음), 수영장 내 바도 문 닫은 점은 많이 아쉬웠습니다

I stayed 4 days and i felt some staffs were not friendly.

And breakfast time was not over, but staffs started cleaning floor while I’m having breakfast.

Other guests sang Karaoke very loudly on the beach for hours, right in front of our villa. It’s was very noisy.

прекрасная территория, прекрасный персонал, замечательная вилла с личным бассейном, вполне хороший завтрак
неплохие ужины по меню в ресторане отеля, но цены значительно выше, особенно вино, чем в кафешках на улице. да, не опасайтесь местных уличных ресторанов - они все очень вкусно готовят и за дешево, особенно рекомендую 2-й по ходу улицы ресторан с красными скатертями)

из минусов: не хватает лежаков на пляже, но учитывая наличие бассейна на нашей вилле и шторм на море, мы вышли из положения
не всегда оставляется гель для душа, поэтому лучше захватить его с собой или купить на месте в магазине

но в целом отель супер. рекомендую!
отдаленность от муй не и фантьета, но это компенсируется бесплатными шатлами отеля, да и такси недорогое, при желании можно всегда уехать потусоваться

в удаленности от цивилизации и уединенности отеля есть тоже плюсы))

It’s a very nice resort. At first I thought the location might be an issue, but there are always taxis stand-by so transportation is not a problem. The resort offers free shuttle bus services to Phan Thiet coty and Mui Ne Center. However, they only run three to four times a day, so I would recommend taking a taxi instead.

The room I picked is a resort with private pool, room is clean and spacious. I spent most of the time inside the resort. Spa service is comparatively cheaper than the ones in Mui Ne downtown (especially if you choose a package). I enjoy the food from their restaurant; they serve really delicious Vietnamese food and Western cuisine in good deal.

The only issue I found it weird is that we were requested to hand over our passports to front desk staff. The staff said our passports shall be kept by the hotel until we check out; if we want to keep our passport on our own, we would have to pay USD 100 as deposit. Not sure if this is a common practice here. Overall this is an enjoyable experience here.

Amazing Vietnam

Beautiful hotel, away from the hustle and bustle. I liked the infrastructure, food, quality Wifi.
I love to relax in Vietnam and this hotel did not disappoint me.
Mosquitoes have a little bit of food, but the hotel is struggling with it, periodically cultivating the territory.
I liked everything very much, the hotel is suitable for families with children, I recommend!

家族でとても良い休暇が過ごせました。

2年ぶり3度目の滞在でした。今回は0歳児2人を含む家族6人で一番大きい3 Bed roomのコテージに4泊です。全体的にはいつもどおり快適で、コテージからの海の眺めも最高でした。部屋や施設は年季が入ったためか、やや老朽感があります。どこかのタイミングでリフォーム／リペアされるのかもしれませんが、それも今後の楽しみです。

매우 만족 또 가고 싶어요

호치민에서 기차타고... 기차역에서 꽤 끝자락에 멀리 위치해 있어서 점심 저녁 식사하러 갈 때마다 이동 구간이 좀 멀긴합니다 하지만 이 정도의 풀빌라 가격이 이렇게 싸다면 그 정도는 하나도 불편하지 않았어요! 매일 아침 청소해주는 풀장...!! 리조트 내 스파도 너무 저렴하고 좋았구요 모든게 다 만족입니다

풍경 좋은 리조트

리조트 전체적인 분위기와 서비스, 특히 레스토랑 테라스 자리에서 식사하며 보는 풍경이 너무 좋았습니다. 휴식 온 기분이 확 느껴졌어요. 화장실이 야외에 있는 풀빌라는 벌레가 있을 수 있네요 ㅎㅎ

離れのリゾートホテル、のんびり、ゆっくり

既に3回宿泊　行き止まり道路の行き止まりにあり不便　交通手段が確保できれば最高
プール、ビーチも整ってリゾート気分は十分味わえる。テニスコートも１面ありパートナーがあれば日が落ちて涼しさのなかで楽しめる。
Wi-Fiはリゾート内フリーで利用できる、パスワードの登録がなくストレスなく楽しめる。構内の樹木の管理、清掃、ビーチのゴミ清掃、スタッフの方が暑い中もくもくと作業されるている姿には
頭が下がる。
風呂に関して言えばお湯、バスタブ、シャワーもOK、旅の疲れが癒される。

무이네에 처음 갔는데 리조트 접근성이 처음 좋지않았으나(버스내려주는 곳이 리조트와 거의 1키로, 반드시 택시 이용) 도착후 친절한 직원과 어메이징한 리조트 분위기 최고의 경관. 황홀한 프라이빗 해변과 개인 풀빌라를 저렴한 가격에 최고로 즐길수 있어서 너무 좋았다. 반드시 다시 가고 싶은곳.

Relaxing, quiet, nice receiption , nice Spa n restaurant, affordable price.A little bit far away from city, but texi could solve it, still cheap if u take texi.
地點確實離海鮮大牌檔有點遠，但搭計程車可以解決這個問題，我們遇到的司機很老實，照著跳板也不會太貴；喜歡安靜喜歡海單純度假可以挑這間，懶得跑很遠其實飯店就有餐廳（好吃）和spa（便宜也專業）,都不是太貴的價格，早餐也好吃，南中北越15天，這間是前兩名.

보케거리와 떨어져있지만 택시는 항상 대기중이라 택시비 10만동으로 문제될 건 없고
조용하게 풀빌라에서 혼자 혹은 남여 두분이서 보내기엔 최고의 호텔일 듯.
단 자연친화적인 호텔이라 작은개미, 모기는 감수해야 합니다. ㅎㅎ

지저분했어요

시멘트가 벗겨지면서 천장에서 떨어지고 고양이가 너무 많았어요 아이들이 놀래서 울고 냄새도 비가 오면 심해서 속도 안 좋아지는 그런 일들이 있었어요 ㅠ 체크아웃하면서 불미스러운 일도 생기고 너무 아니였어요

the restraunt not good,we order the same dish , it's flavor always different , we even eat the iron wire on the fried noodles at the breakfast , the waiter just take it back and didn't say anything .
the resption is very good , we didn't take the bus ,she come with us to wait the bus , if we have any problem all can help us ,I very thanks the resption

Lady from reception was very nice and good. Other staff also friendly. But rooms where not that great we had one with private pool picture beter then real and rooms al seperate. Pool and beach not next to eachother so need to pick one. Beter resort close by for less money also.

가격이싸지만 그만큼 서비스품질이나 룸의 청결도는 조금 떨어짐.

추천하기 애매함.

교통이 너무 불편하고 셔틀시간이 적어서 무이네 나갈려면 택시비가 많이들고 밤늦게 택시타고 오기가 쉽지도 않음. 12/23 밤에 크리스마스 갈라쇼라며 객실 바로 앞 수영장에서 현지인들 상대로 노래자랑을 하는데 창문닫아도 아무 소용이 없음.. 리셉션애서는 9시30분에 끝나니 참어달라고만 하고. 정말 실망스러웟음. 다만 조식이나 다른 환경은 괜찮은 편.

무이네 보케거리와는 거리가 조금 멀어서 밖에서 식사를 하거나 마사지를 받기에는 다소 불편함이 있으나 숙소 내에 있는 마사지와 식사로도 충분히 해결할 수 있어서 숙소에서 마사지 및 식사를 해결하면 되고, 무엇보다 풀빌라에서 숙박을 해서인지 너무나 만족스러웠습니다.
